Enable DFF issue on OAF

Hello,
I had requirement to add DFF to OIE_AUD_AUDIT_PAGE page for VO AuditReportLinesVO(the attributes are not avaiable). I extended VO to add all attribute columns.
Defined an item of the item style flex, the DFF is not visible in the front end. Do I miss anything.

Enabling DFF in iProcurement Receving Page

Hi,
We have a requirement in enabling the RCV_TRANSACTIONS DFF on Receive Items(IcxPorRcvSrchPG) Page. I am planning to customize the ReceiveMyItemsVO along with the connected objects it has. Actually i have to cutomize all the objects including API, as the current API handling this VO does not support any attributes. Any pointers or comments towards the solution is helpful.

Hope your VO is EO based.
Generally DFF attribute columns are added by default. If they are not present then you need to extend the VO.

How to enable DFF for a particular country on a Standard OA Framework page

Hi All,
I have a requirement for iExpense. Here I need to enable a DFF and that should be display only for a particular country say 'India'. I have done this for the core apps forms but for OA Framework pages I am not sure.
In core apps we have used context senstive rather than Global.
Could you please help me on this that how can I enable DFF for a particular country.

i think u r talking about Domestic and Recoverability DFF,u need to find out the id of those LOV fields ,u can find them going in view source ,right click go to view source and search the fields against the prompt appearing against these LOV like (Recoverability) u will get the id of this field ,then extend your CO and hide this field in processRequest method of extendedCO according to your org id .

HT5927 Using apple configurator with supervised devises, enabling iCloud/ find my iOS device (after being supervised), backing up that supervised / find my iPhone enabled image, --issue; unable to apply back up to any iOS device (including the orign. devi

Senario:
Need to manage 500 Enterprise iPads
Requirements;
1) Trackable via Find my iOS device (we have 500 iPads and with the 100 device limit per iCloud account for Find my iOS device limit we have 5+ iCloud accounts).
2) Individually named iPads for locating and sending commands to wipe, lost mode, etc.. on map per Find my iOS device (we uniquely name them in Apple Configurator either by using the "sequensetially numbering feature", or by creating individual back ups (yes, 450) with the name specified in the image).
3) Find my iOS device feature enabled in base Prepared or Supervised image (using one of our 5+ iCloud accounts) (image can be created during prepared stage, or in supervised stage) - tried both and have the same issue - which I am getting to...
4) VPP codes for paid apps (all VPP codes purchased with generic account which is the Apple Admin account for VPP purchases). Apple Configurator is set up under a different/ unique Apple account (i.e. not VPP admin account) and not logged into iTunes for any purchases/ services).
Issue: Can not do any following senarios;
A)
1) configure master iOS 7 iPad with iCloud account with Find my iOS feature enabled in Prepare stage (added during preparing stage)
2) configure master iOS 7 iPad with iCloud account with Find my iOS feature enabled in Supervised stage (added after supervising, and then backing up that supervised and iOS Find my iOS device enabled)
B) 1) Apply master image to any Supervised iPad (under senario step A) or senario step B)), including the (Supervised or/ Prepared iPad that was used to create the maset iOS 7 image
Result = fail with Apple generic code "4" ; This is obviously due to Find my iOS device feature enabled during image capture.
According to Apple (see Apple Config. Help) the 'Activation lock' (new feature in iOS 7) will not be enabled on a supervised device when an iCloud account with "Find my iDevice" is enabled. Their "help files" seem to imply after the device is Supervised, and a person (presumably and end user) adds thier own iCloud account with Find my iOS device enabled the activation lock is not enabled and erasing/ reconfiguring with Apple Configurator will not cause reimaging probhlems such as requiring the end user's credentials to reconfigure the device using Apple Configurator (i.e. you won't need the end user's credentials).
Needed: To be able to configure Supervised iPads with iCloud account (Enterprised owned iCloud account) configured on the basse image, which has Find my iOS device enabled, and to be able to apply that base image to all Enterprise iPads without generic apple error code 4 issue.

I am trying to replicate these steps in my environment but I am having trouble getting an iCloud backup restored to a supervised device. Can someone clarify the steps? The parts I am unsure on are:
1) Do you Prepare in Configurator with all the institution owned apps? Or do you install them after restoring the iCloud backup?
2) After entering the personal AppleID to restore the iCloud backup, the setup wizard prompts for the Institution/Configurator AppleID, there is an option to 'Skip Now'. Do you enter in the password for the institution account? or do you skip that step?
3) What exactly is on the screen in the 'mini setup assistant' after the restore when you Refresh with Configurator?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Email Enabled Calendar Issues

I have set up several email enabled calendars in SharePoint 2010. The users create meetings in Outlook and invite the SharePoint calendar using the email address set up for the calendar.
We are having some odd issues with recurring meetings. The meetings will show up in the SharePoint calendar when viewing in the browser, but are missing from the SharePoint calendar in Outlook.
If a user cancels one of the meetings in the series, the item shows as cancelled in the SharePoint calendar, but 3 blank calendar items are also created.
Any ideas?

According to your post, my understanding is that you had some issues with the SharePoint calendar.

Did the issue occur when click the F9? You can click the F9 to check whether it works.
If a user cancels one of the meetings in the series, the item shows as cancelled in the SharePoint calendar,

Did the issue occur in other calendars? You can create a new calendar to check whether it works.
Maybe the calendar had been corrupted.
Or you can also check the event log and ULS log to see if anything unexpected occurred.
To check event log, click the Start button and type “Event Viewer” in the Search box.
For SharePoint 2010, by default, ULS log is at
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\LOGS

Crosstab - Enable Selection issue

Hello Everyone,
I have a cross tab with Summary data and have set - Enable Selection option true (which will enable rows selection).
Now I also have On Select script which picks up the selected value and pass it on to next table for detailed view based on selection.
When I do single click on the row in summary tab it will pick the value selected and pass to detail view for filter and it works fine.
Issue -
But when is double click the same row in summary tab it will not pass the correct value and show some wrong data.
Did any one faced this kind of issue?

Hi Rajan,
In crosstab the first click will select and the second click is deselect that particular row.
so when you double click it is selcting and deselecting, this might be the reason it's acting like that,

Disabled then enabled account issue....

Here is the issue I am having. There was an account that had been disabled. Today I went and enabled the account and tested it on one of my Windows XP sp3 PC's that has the 4.91sp5 client on it, was able to log in just fine. Just got a report that on a Windows 7 sp1 x64 PC using the Novell Clien 2 sp3 for Windows 7 (IR3) that the account is not being able to be logged in on using the account. The error that is given is a pop up Novell Security Message saying "Your account is disabled or expired! Contact your System Administrator." Behind the pop up is a error "Login failed Error code: 0x800789DC". I have tried this on other win7 PC x64 PC's and they all give the same error.
Background on our network we are obviously Novell shop running ZCM 11.1 and our servers are OES2.

Configure SSL enabled communication issue

Hi Experts,
I'm having this wierd issue.. Installed SharePoint like for the 10th time in my life or so. But this time when I was doing this "Configure SSL enabled communication" steps the Powershell window just hangs forever.

Yes I have set the particular proerty SSLAlwaysNegoClientCert to True and it is able to establish the ssl conneciton without initiating renegotiation from IIS server side.The property has to be set the metabase.xml file.

Please tell how to personalize it directly.Because there is no such personalization for these DFF in 11i.But still there are lovs and Date fields which are mapped to these DFFs.

Enable scanner issue

have two office jet pro printer,fax,scanner...one in office one at home. each is seperately identified. had each 3 years. been working great until now. When attempting to scan I select the appropriate printer, but then I'm unable to Enable the device. The Manage Scan to Computer option has quit functioning.

Hey , Thanks for getting back to me regarding this Scan to Computer issue. I am happy to hear that you are able to scan successfully when initiated from the HP Scan software on your computer. There is a chance that there is a background program running on your computer that is blocking the Scan to Computer service. Therefore, I am going to have you temporarily disable the background programs from running on your Windows 7 computer. Once disabled, I will have you attempt to Enable the Scan to Computer feature and test scanning from the front panel of one of your HP Officejet 8600 printers. Please follow the steps below. Step 1: MSCONFIG (Disable): Click on your Start menuIn the 'search programs and files' box right above Start, type msconfig and hit enter on your keyboardWhen the System Configuration Window opens select 'Selective Startup' and uncheck Load Startup ItemsClick the Services tab. Check the box at the bottom for Hide All Microsoft ServicesSelect Disable AllSelect Apply and OKRestart your computer when prompted Once your computer comes back ON please proceed to the next step. Step 2: Enable Scan to Computer: 1. Click on the HP Printer Assistant icon on your computer desktop 2. Under the HP Printer Assistant click on Manage Scan to Computer 3. Enable cookies issue

I've just got a new 9320 curve and can't download any apps as it's telling me to enable coookies. I have read the suggestions of removing the battery while it is still switched on, leaving it for one minute and then reinserting it but this has not fixed the problem. Anyone any idea what I might be doing wrong please? I have 'accept cookies' ticked but don't actually have an option to 'enable cookies' so not sure if there's something else I need to do!!! Spot the technophobe!!

All of the references to "cookies" that I find relate to BES-enabled devices...is yours such? If so, then you need to talk to your BES admin as they control this.
If you are not on BES, then it may be that your BB was at one time in it's life associated with BES...but was never properly cleansed. Please see this:

If there is a latent IT Policy on your BB and you are not on BES, then that must be removed to enable you to fully use your BB...the process of doing so is completely destructive to all that is on your BB now (data, apps, etc.), so please prepare by following the link in my auto-sig regarding good backup processes, and carry all of that out in preparation. However, when you restore afterwards, DO NOT do a full restore...rather, just do a selective restore of only those databases you require, leaving out especially any to do with Enterprise, IT Policy, etc...if you do a full restore, you will put the IT Policy back onto your BB, and be right back where you started.
