Enabling eRecord for standard WIPMOVE in the custom form using wip interfac

Hi,
Anyone know how to trigger the eRecord for the standard WIPMOVE transaction in the custom form using WIP Interface (wip_move_txn_interface & wip_movproc_pub.processinterface).
I have done all the necessary setting and eRecords is getting generated in the standard out of box form. But when i call the same WIPMOVE transaction through a custom form using WIP Interface it is not generating eRecord.
As suggested by cookbook I tried EDR_ERES_EVENT_PUB.RAISE_ERES_EVENT, ERES.PERFORM_TRANSACTION, nothing is working out.
Any suggestion ?

I would not recommend touching the standard tables at all unless you are being guided by the SR. For a record to be in the standard table it should go through series of validations based on the what operation you are performing and some times datas are dependent upon the other tables, and also some times the same records are hit to so many other tables simultaneously.
Therefore I would not recommend this brother.

How to Locate the Custom Form Name in Oracle Apps

We had a migration project from 11.0.3 NT to 11.5.10.2 AIX, and it include
1 form I guess. The client user is showing me the navigation tree where the customized form was located.
She opened the NT Oracle Apps 11.0.3 and it is showing the following:
Cash Management Responsibilty
+ Other
Enter Adjustment >> this is the customized form that she showed me
When the form opened, i shows a block with parent table "AP_BANK_ACCOUNTS_ALL" and a child table
"CEC_ADJUSTMENT_RECON".
My question is, based on the navigation, how do I know which is the location of the forms.fmx? of what
module was it registered to?

I tried to navigate to the custom form and open it, then click "Help --> About"
from the menu bar, but it does not show you the form name and the forms executable location path,
(not like the standard forms of oracle where it shows the form name),
the "help" being shown is the help of the runtime form in a normal default oracle form window.
so I assumed that the custom form has been registered but not following the standard procedure.

While accessing the custom forms in release 12i we are facing the popup error and the form is not getting opened up: "Function Not available to this responsibility. Change Responsibilities or Contact your System Administrator"...
I check the custom top path in $APPL_TOP/admin/adovars.env... its fine there..
but the $Apache_top is not there...
can u plz tell me the solution....

If ur referring to forms, u need to search in appropriate forum, as this forum is only for OAF queries, and if its realted to OAF page, check the the function of oa page is attached to the specific responsibilty .

Hi,Using ms project 2007 vba macro, I would like to be able to list all the custom fields used in the project and their corresponding field names. e.g. let us say I create a calculated duration field and name it "expected duration" and the name
of the field I select is Duration1.
I am trying to write a macro that will list all the used custom fields such as the result would look like:
Duration1 ---> "expected duration"
Text1 ---> "anything"
Flag1 ---> "....."
Number1 ---> "..............."

I found this module, which provides the the list of custom fields used in the project but does not provide the name given to the field. Here below is the module and hope you could help me achieve this by modifying the macro to list the renamed field.

Hi,
Take a look at this example, it uses property nodes to select tha
active plot and then changes the color of that plot.
If you want to make the number of plots dynamic you could use a for
loop and an array of color boxes.

Iv 10 Tables consisting of atleast 10 fields each in a single Database. Bt, Im only able to connect 1 table at a time to a form using an ADO Control. Im able to add data from table 'student' to text-boxes in my form. Bt, hw can I add data from field(0) of
Table 'Student' to Textbox1 and data from field(0) of Table 'Marks' to Textbox2 using VB6??

Communication between thread in the same process using file interface.

I am developing driver and i need to communicate between two thread.

Hardware Abstraction Layer will interact with Driver(Both will be running in complete different process) .there is a IOCTL for command and File interface for read and write.
My requirement is:
Both should run in the same process so HAL will run as one thread and driver as another thread in the same process .I don't want HAL to wait for completion of request and also i don't want driver to be blocked .
We are planning to use a File Interface for communication between Hardware abstraction layer and Driver
HAL will send the command or read/write operation to a file interface and driver will get the command or read/write request from the File interface
There is a flexibility to change Hardware Abstraction layer and also the Driver
Is it possible to use IOCTL between two thread under same process? if not what other options do we have.

Can not run the test form using servlet (patch 8)

Installed 9I AS 1.0.2.2.1 and forms patch 8 on Windows 2000.
Configured the Forms Listener Servlet by following the white paper "Forms 6i Patch 8: Oracle Forms Listener Servlet for Deployment of Forms on the Internet".
I can get the page titled Forms 6i Listener Servlet using URL: http://myserver/servlet/oracle.forms.servlet.ListenerServlet.
However, I can not run the test form using the servlet by the url:
http://myserver/servlet/f60servlet?config=servlet. In the formsweb.cfg file I also added a section
[servlet]
serverURL=/servlet/oracle.forms/servlet.ListenerServlet
No meaningful error message. At first it seems very slow, and then shows the "The page can not be displayed" page.

If you have text in the mail form and that text is not W3C compliant then in this case you cannot upload the images
because of syntax error in your html coding.
So my suggestion is - if you have text in your mailform then make the html coding of that text W3C compliant and then
try to upload the image.

IDOCS : Use standard FM replacing the custom FM

Hi friends,
As a part of redesigning a material interface, I have been assigned a job of replacing the current inbound custom functional module by the standard inbound functional module 'IDOC_INPUT_MATMAS01'.
So, the code which was written in custom functional module needs to be accomodated in the standard inbound FM. As far as I see the possibilites, we could go for the enhancement points given inside the FM or any userexits available there..
Please guide me to find the possibilites of accomodating the existing code from custom FM inside the standard FM.

Don't copy SAP standard to Z-versions...that's usually the work of inexperienced noobies, in most cases, and is rarely an intelligent solution, IMHO.
You have the solution...problem is: how to figure out what the custom function module is doing differently and get that into available enhancements in the standard, if the different logic that the custom FM did is still needed, of course... Are there available requirements/spec documents for the custom work? If so, that could be a start, but one could just replace the custom with standard, start testing in Development and work from there, comparing standard to custom results.

Sales order block for MRP run when the Customer payment terms is in Advance

My client needs to block some sales order for MRP which customer payment term is advance. But it should be based on the customer payments terms (In case of Advance). After getting his advance amount, we would be release it and it also be consider for MRP.
Option 1.Status profile this concept is will controlled by sales document controls VOV8 not by customer's payment term Advance
Option 2: In CMR sales area Billing Document tab by using payment guarantee procedure and in VOV8 in billing tab Payment guaramtee procedure by using this setting , i am getting a pop up message" No Finanical document assigned" in sales order when u try to save. Now sales order is blocked for delivery but not MRP run.
i am to ask the abaper to develop "here in the information box we will maintained required text say example u201C customeru2019s Payment term is in advance please check the reason for rejection number u201Csay ex: 13u201D: advance " after this is happen go to change mode of sales order put reason for rejecation" now MRP run will not generate the requirement for the sales order.
for Undo these this flow :
Va02 : remove the reason for rejection keep it in Blank
VKM3 : release the sales order.
Options 3: Development
Kindly suggest me the second options is only alternative for solving this issue but really i m not used specific feilds to solving this issue.
