Energy Profiler- Not doing some measurements- Chan...

I am using Nokia 5233 . I have installed this Application. Earlier i am using Nokia Energy Profiler. But after installing Nokia Battery Monitor. Some modules of Energy Profiler not working properly. An Error Message Flashes while using Energy Profiler "All Measurements are not possible. Channel is reserve by Another Application". This occurs when i press start in Energy Profiler Application. Due to this i can't measure Signal Strength of my Operator.
Now i have Uninstalled Battery Monitor & this Energy Profiler Application then switched off phone.Then reinstalled Energy Profiler Application.But problem remains the same.. Can any one suggest solution???

Well, it seems that it is possible to fix it, I was also annoyed about this conflict between Energy Profiler and Nokia Battery Monitor apps. Basically Nokia battery monitor installs 2 additional apps, the NBM installer and NBM service, that actually runs even if Nokia Battery monitor is un-installed. As the NBM service reserves the measurements channels, Energy profile cannot access handset resources. You have to un-install also NBM installer and NBM service from Application manager, and afterwards Energy profiler re-gains entire functionality. I did and works 100%.
Another solution would be to stop NBM service temporary when EP desired to be used, not very friendly solution, but not impossible.

Energy Profiler Error - All measurements not possi...

I have a 5800 XPM - I have energy profiler installed. have used the programme reasonably sucessfully until now. Every time I start it a message comes up "All measurements are not possible, Channel is reserved by another application".
I have not other apps running and I have restarted the phone.
Cannot figure out why this is happening, but it renders the energy profiler useless.
I was hoping to use it to find out why my battery life is so poor.
Anyone else having the same problem and how can it be fixed???

I think i did hear somewhere, that after installation of Nokia Battery Monitor the Energy-Profiler does not work any more.
Did you install Battery Monitor?
If yes... switch it of,.... reboot... maybe you have to even de-install the Battery Monitor...

Energy Profiler measurement units

Here's one that's got me flummoxed. Until yesterday, Energy Profiler would measure power consumption in watts. I'm not aware of having done anything in particular, but as of yesterday it started using amps as the vertical unit instead of watts.
Does anyone know what I did to effect this change and how I can get it back to watts?

I am trying to establish which tool(Energy profiler, Performance investigator) is better to estimate power consumption in nokia n95, right now I have the next problem:
I have mapped the measures(5 mins) for both tools, the behavior between graphics seems almost equal, but the values are completly different. I mean: With Performance Investigator the values are around 8 times bigger than energy profiler values.
The average related to power for both tool, under equal conditions is:
Energy profiler: 0,08W
Performace Investigator: 0,7W
I tried the same procedure with an interval of 10mins and the result are almost the same.
Does someone know what is happening?.

I have configured charm in our Dev system.
In transaction solution_manager ->change request management-> create
I get the following message:
Subject profile category does not exist (system error)
Message no. CRM_SUBJECT_PROFILE001
Did I miss something in the configuration?
I configured a test system some time ago and did not have this issue.

this should help a lot. i've had the same problem w/ my ipod but i ended up fixing the problem and having about 5 videos on my ipod (until it was stolen). nevertheless, download a program called Videora Ipod Converter. once you're done installing it, click on Setup on the tabs to your left and then click Profiles. After that, create a profile with the following settings.
Existing Quality Profiles: (create new profile i.e. ipod)
Profile Name: (same as above)
Mode: MPEG-4 > CBR Bitrate: 768kbps
Resolution: 320x240 Framerate: 29.97fps
Passes: One
-audio settings-
bitrate: 128kbps Channels: stereo Sample rate: input
after that, you should be fine. make sure you use the one-click transcode because you wont be able to complete fully with the transcode option (i forgot why because its been such a long time since i had my ipod)

DVD drive does not play some DVDs properly

Hi,
My Macbook was purchased in 2007; So it is a bit old. I haven't used the DVD drive very often.
I bought two new DVDs from Amazon recently. However, when I played them in my Macbook using DVD Player, the disk pauses and skips very often, making it impossible to watch the DVD. In addition, the Player would display the "Skip over damaged data" warning.
I thought it was a problem with the software (DVD Player); so I installed the VLC player. Problems occurred as well. Disk would pause and then simply stop (the screen closes).
I thought that perhaps it was the problem with the Amazon DVD disk. So I played some other DVDs in my Macbook, with both DVD Player and VLC Player. There was NO problem at all with the other DVDs.
Then my conclusion was that the Amazon DVD was faulty. I requested a replacement, which they sent to me promptly within a day.
However, the same problem occured. The replacement DVD would not play properly in either DVD Player or VLC Player in my Macbook. It would pause and skip very frequenntly.
Now I began to suspect that maybe the Optical Drive was faulty. So I brought the DVD to my school and tried to play it in two computers: one PC (with VLC); the other Mac (DVD Player). To my surprise, the DVD played flawlessly in those two computers.
Now my conclusion is that the optical drive of my Macbook is faulty.
However, after doing some preliminary research on the internet, I find that replacing the internal optical drive is a difficult process. The alternative seems to be buying an external drive. But there seems to be concern about booting the computer (when the need arises) from an external optical drive.
Questions:
1. Is my conclusion justified? (That I have a faulty optical DVD drive)
2. If the optical drive is faulty, then why do some DVDs play with no problem in my Macbook?
3. Would you recommend replacing the internal drive or puchasing an external optical drive? What are the advantages and disadvantages to both?

Thanks again. I went ahead and deleted the DVD Player folder and the plist file.
The result is that it appeared to temporarily improve the playback of the DVD. For the first two hours, the DVD paused considerably less and each pause was of a relatively short duration. There was much less skipping. So the playback was almost tolerable, if I lower my standards.
However, after two hours, it reverted to its old ways. The pauses and skipping became so frequent and long (as before) to make the DVD simply unwatchable.
I don't know what to make of this.

Noooo! Actually I too had d same prob wit my iPhone 4S. When I connect to my wifi network it won't get connected or it wil be grey scaled! I took it to d istore and since I had warranty they replaced my IPhone. It iPad charger has high volt than ur iPhone charger so when u connect wit it, there is a chance where large amount of current passes thru ur iPhone. So for sure it wil damage ur motherboard and its parts! Many said that iOS 6 or 6.0.1 or 6.1 was d reason for tis wifi prob! But apple never made its mistake wit it's software. If and only if u hav hardware prob u wil hav these sort of wifi prob Bluetooth prob! So best way s to replace ur iPhone!

My mac book pro does not boot up correctly anymore after doing some updates. I did have my ipod charging to my mac book. I ran the simple updates and never go to the maverick update and now my computer will not boot correctly. Help!

Please help my computer is not repsonding after doing some simple updates. I follow the instructions and which is simply click for the update to take place. I did what I was instructed to do. I did not do the new update for the Mavericks yet. I just did simple updates. The computer shutted down and restarted but would never get pass the grey screen with the spinning wheel and the booting bar that would not go past a certain point befor shutting off again. The computer is practically brand new. I purchased the computer from best by 2012 and the warrenty just ended the past October. I hardly use the computer maybe 4 times since I have had it because I have another main computer that I uses. Well, I was at Apple for sometime on that day. I got a Genius that did not want to work. She basically jumped to the money to tell me that my hard drive was no good and that I was out of warranty (October 2013). I began to explain to her that I had only used the computer 5 times and that I don't use this computer as my main computer because I also have a Toshiba that is less expensive that I have had for several years and not one issue out of it. The rep told me that I could by a new hard drive for $161.00 and that I would loose all of my software and photos that I have on this computer. However, I told her that it's bazaar that it happens right after my warranty goes out and had I used it more often when in warranty before October then I would have been covered. Keeping in mind that I would still be very disappointed with the product because I would loose all of my information and it would not make sense to me why the hard drive fails on a very gently used computer. So I asked for a manager and it took her some time to get one. In the mean time I watched how the other Geniuses interacted with the other customers and seen that they were very engaging with convo and very help. I guess I just I got another lemon when I got my rep. When the manager finally came. I went from A-Z with the issues and that I felt that something could or should be done because the rep said that she did tests on my machine and it read to her that my hard drive was bad and there was nothing that could be done. I explained that I was not looking forward to paying for services to have my new computer repaired. The manager offered to give me 25% off the cost but I still didn't feel that it was effective. After he left and the rep wrote the notes in the system, I told her that I didn't think that all options had been exhausted and that there was something else that could be done. I told her to erase the machine and see if the updates could be installed and if the system would continue to do the same thing. The rep was hesitant and said that I would loose everything which we already know that we were at conclusion from the beginning. She assured me that I would happen again and that I would need a new hard drive. I just told her to erase the machine and get me another manager because I was just getting tired of her unhelpfulness and negative perspective. The new manager came and was very pleasant and I explained everything once again from A-Z. I informed him that I had the machine erased and that I need his help with options because I don't feel that the rep or the last manager was resourceful or helpful. He apologies for the actions of the reps and proceed to tell me that they will run all the updates in the store and that if it booted correctly that I should continue to use the machine with out adding the adobe software back on just incase that it crashes again and I'm out of money once again. However, if it does happen again and it is a hard drive issues that he would work with me to resolve the issues. As my computer went through the process of rebooting from out of the box stage another rep approached me because he could tell that I was upset and not happy. I told he what had happen and he said I think I can help you a little more. He said that I just want to run further testing on you computer for different components to make sure that everything would work properly and pin point any issues. I was delighted with that option. Anything would help at this time especially someone who is willing to help. The first test that he ran was to for the hard drive and he said that since it failed the test the first time could be because the software update glitch and did update correctly which would make the test faulty and be negative. As I sit with finger crossed the test came back as a pass test that my hard drive was not the issue and that the update was the cause and that I did not have to buy a new hard drive. I was happy that the computer was ok but I lost information. All of the updates were done in the store and everything works fine now. If I was not persistent about my gut feeling then I would had left out thinking that I had to pay for a new hard drive that I really didn't needed. Now I can invest that money in a external hard drive to start backing up my information. Lesson learned by I'm still on the fence about things but I hope all is well. I really went through a lot. No help or no service was not an option that I was taken. I hope that it helps.

You should be getting an error message that PS CS5 requires a higher version of ACR with two options "render using Lightroom" or "open anyway". You should choose the first option. If you are not seeing the error message then go to your Lightroom prefrences >General Tab> under Prompts> select "Reset all warning dialogs", then try the edit in function again.

What's the reason for wanting the duplicate photos in the catalog? There may be other ways of accomplishing your goal without making duplicates.

We are getting this error while trying to load BSAs. The profile option is set to always at the responsibility level,
The same code and settings were tested in lower instances and it went through fine
Document sequence is set correctly.

Does not open some pictures at Picasa

Firefox does not open some pictures on picasa where IE opens them all.
This only happens at Picasa, with everyones albums. Only about 1/2 show up and the ones that do not cannot be opened.

It is possible that you clicked "Block Images" in the right click context menu while trying to save an image.
