Enhancement while user log out of the session

Hi
         We are connecting to the external system through web services and query it  to get the data. We will call this connection to external system from most of the important transactions. Our problem is, once the user connects to the external system, he has to stay connected tilll the user log out i.e. user has to disconnect while he log out. I am using shared objects and creating instance while user connects. But no clue where to clear this instance and close the connectivity. So, my question is there any BADI, Userexit or enhancement triggers while user log out or any other way to implement . Please advise
Regards
Shailaja.

HI Sailaja  ,
You can  check that  by Creating One RFC   by passing parameter   when you are connecting to external system  and also  when you are logging out of the external system  , one flag can be paased to RFC  when he logs out and  can close the session accordingly  .

Deepak.

  • How to close browser window after user log out

    Hi,
    Does anyone know how I can close browser window after user logs out. The scenario is when user clicks a log out button I will invalidate user session and close the browser right away in the backing bean.
    Your help would be appreciated.

    Try run this and you'll see that it runs fine with no exceptions:
    <%
         String someText = "bla bla bla";
         response.setContentType("text/plain");
         response.setHeader("Content-Disposition", "attachment;filename=message.txt");
         try {
              ServletOutputStream os = response.getOutputStream();
              os.write(someText.getBytes());
              os.flush();
              os.close();
         } catch (Exception e) {
              out.println("ERROR: " + e);
    %>It looks like that after I've closed the outputStream I can't do any more processing in the JSP. Even if I remove the setContentType and setHeader methods it still behaves this way.
    I'm starting to think that there's no way around this...??

    I suggest you to clear cache and cookies on Internet explorer. Then try logging in to Azure portal.
    From the thread that you provided, we can see that this issue was fixed, up to now I haven't heard the same issue, based on your description, this issue was only happening in Chrome, I tested this on my local (create a new website in chrome), it worked as
    normal, and I didn't reproduce this issue, so I think this may be not a bug in chrome, please try to clean session and cookie, or use another machine test it, if issue was still exist, please try to contact with support with detail information, Please

  • Is there a script or a secure program that I could use to remove profiles after a given user logs off from the system?

    I am trying to do this on a network for a specific lab that uses Active Directory. I would like to accomplish this on each individual iMac. The only account that would not be removed after logging off would be the Administrators.
    Thanks.

    Also, If I created a default profile on each system, could each user log in and be redirected to that profile and all of their network resources be readily available, and once they log out of the system, they are disconnected and all of their information is removed? (Hope this makes sense.)

  • How do I keep BI Publisher running when I log out of the console in linux?

    I am using the standalone version of BI Publisher and I want to keep it running even after I log out of the console. I have a script that starts it so I typed 'nohup start_bipub.sh &' but when I log out it shuts down anyway. I started my apache server the same way and it still runs after I log out so the only thing I can think of is that X is being killed due to the logout and BI Pub needs it. Is there anyway to keep this process running?
    Thanks,
    Denise

    It depends on the data path from the tower you're using, through NATs and many routers, all the way back to the server. Which depends on your current location and sheer luck.
    For some users, the data path stays alive for 30-45 minutes at a time... thus the phone only has to ping the server that often for push to work. Their push doesn't use much battery.
    Other users have the misfortune of being connected via pathways that only keep a connection alive for 5-10 minutes. Their iPhones eat battery like crazy, and they usually end up switching to a 15-30 minute timed fetch instead.

  • My computer freezes when a user logs out

    Since I updated to Tiger (10.4.5) from Panther (10.3.9) it often happens that, when a user logs out from his account, the computer freezes. The mouse arrow won't move, so it's not possible anymore for anyone to log back in. I have to hold the start-button to force the computer to a shutdown. After restart everything works fine.
    There are 3 other users (the kids) apart from my administrator account.
    Any idea what to do ?

    I suggest reinstalling the 10.4.5 COMBO update, repair permissions after restart, and restart again.

  • Network is interrupted if someone logs out on the the computer

    I have a G5 quad running Leopard, a G4 Gigabit running Leopard and a MBP (4,1) running SL. The G4 is hardwired to a linksys router. The G5 and MBP use WiFi but I have a cable to connect the MBP sometimes. If I log in from the MBP to my account on the G5 I can transfer files between the MBP and the G5, which I do sometimes. If I'm transferring files and somebody who is using the G5 logs out (Going to the login screen) the connection breaks down and my transfer is ruined. Even though the computer in running and I haven't actually logged out of the G5. Is there something I can do about this? Thanks in advance.

    I have fast user switching enabled and I never logoff. My account is always logged in though other people may switch to their accounts.

  • Domain user account will not authenticate once user logs out and logs back in

    Greetings,
    I am having difficulty resolving an issue with a Mac user on my domain. the user can log in no problem from the initial start up, however when the user logs out and trys to log back in, the domain account and the password doesn't authenticate. the only way the user can log back in is by shutting down completely.

    The guys around here who know anything about that hang out on Mac OS X Server forum. Many of them support mixed Server environments in their day jobs.

  • I used to share one apple ID/account with my ex but made a new one for myself recently and logged out of the old one but when I try to update my iBooks it asks for the old account's password(which my ex changed by now)

    I used to share one apple ID/account with my ex but made a new one for myself recently and logged out of the old one but when I try to update my iBooks (only happens with this app)it asks for the other account's password(which my ex changed by now). I don't understand why this happens when I'm logged into my account and it only happens with that app. Please help, I need to update. :/

    Content (apps, music, ibooks, films etc) is tied to the account that originally downloaded it, so if the iBooks app was downloaded using the account that you used to share with your ex then only that account can download updates to it. As it's a free app you could delete it and re-download it under your own account - and then re-download your ibooks into it (or copy the books to your computer's iTunes first via File > Transfer Purchases and then sync them back to the app).

  • How do you keep two users logged in at the same time?

    How do I keep two users logged in at the same time to be able to access home sharing?

    Fast User Switching in Users & Groups or Accounts preferences in Login Options.

  • How to enable multiple users logging in to the same client machine?

    Hi,
    We have our home directories shared from the server (using AFP) and this allows our users to log in to any machine via the normal console login.
    But if you try to remotely login to a machine with ssh, and another user is already logged in at the machine, then you get the error message:
    Could not chdir to home directory /Network/Servers/machinename/Users/keith: No such file or directory
    I can connect (via) ssh, only if no user is logged in at the console. If I connect with ssh when no users are logged in, and then a user logs in at the console, then this unmounts the home directory for the ssh user.
    I have read about the mnthome command, and if I try running this (from my ssh login whilst there is a console login) then I get the error message:
    Error: Mount failed with error 1 Operation not permitted
    I'm assuming that multiple ssh logins must be allowed somehow? Can you only do this if you share your home directories with NFS (in this case, I understand that all home directories always appear mounted on each client)???
    Any help appreciated,
    Keith
    Server and all clients running 10.4.3
    iBook & PowerMac G5   Mac OS X (10.4.3)

    Thanks for the info. I really thought that this would be a fixable problem. I also thought that it might work when two different users both logged in using ssh only (i.e. when there is no console login). But this also causes problems for the second ssh login.
    What practical work-arounds have people tried? The respondent to your other post (linked to above) suggested that NFS sharing might work, only that ssh logins still don't mount the home directory. Is this the case?
    Thanks for the speedy answer.
