Enrollment code fail to generate using TinyURL in Afaria7SP4

Hi,
I recently upgraded Afaria version to Afaria7SP04. I have been facing difficulty in generating enrollment code using Tinyurl. In Server->Enrollment Code,when i check Enable Tinyurl Service and click on test connection i get a "Failed" connection status.
Note:
*Tiny url website is working in web browser from Afaria Server
*All Afaria services are installed in same machine
Need help to solve this issue
Regards
Aishwarya

Hi Midhun,
Not got any errors in server log when checked from Afaria dashboard. Also i am trying to enroll an android device.

  • Hand made or generated GUI code, what do proffesional use?

    Hello!
    I am currious about what programs people that work as a programmer use? Is it common that they use programs that generats code like Netbeens for instance? I tryed that program in design mode to make a gui, but when I looked at the code it had generated I could not understand it. When I have seen simple example of gui code that has been hand written I have no trouble to understand the code.
    My opinion is that code is something that others than yourself can read and understand. Wich ofcource is not as simple as it sounds :) The reason I could not understand Netbeens generated code can ofcource be that I am a java beginner.
    So, what I am asking is that:
    1. Is it common that proffesional programmers use programs like Netbeens to generate GUI code ?
    2. The problem that others cant read or understand the code, is it more common that the programmer have used generated code or does the problem as easly occur when the code is hand written?
    Regards
    Martin

    but I prefer hand made code; that generated crap is unreadable (all imho of course) and I don't understand it eitherSeconded. Code generation not only creates messy, undocumented code, but it also leads to hidden mistakes which are the worst kind. I'd rather spend a little more time writing the stuff by hand and not only having full control over the outcome, but also have full knowledge of its inner workings.Thirded. For my money, if you're building rich GUIs that are anything other than trivial, it's probably worth investing some effort in writing a layer of code to simplify building those GUIs. Working with vast amounts of raw Swing, for example, is a painful experience. For our Swing products, we've got a whole library of controls we built specific to our apps. We also wrote a layer of abstraction over the whole of Swing itself, but that's another story. Another alternative is to use a Rich Client Platform like Eclipse RCP, which provides a lot of common, rich components, and a framework for deploying them in, out of the box. Both the Eclipse and NetBeans IDEs are built upon their own respective RCP packages, which are available for you to use for your own apps. All those nice editors, drag-n-drop views, trees, menus, shortcuts and what-not, all just there for you to use without having to write any tiresome window-resizing code. Lovely. I don't know about IntelliJ, but I wouldn't be surprised if it, too, did so. Spring RCP is another such package.

    First - you're responding to a year-old message. I doubt the OP is still around.
    Second - DSA is a Digital Signature Algorithm. The error tells you exactly what the problem is - DSA is not an encryption algorithm, and can't be used as one.

  • Line Item : New dispaly field for Report generated using Tcode FBL1N

    Hi Geeks,
              I want to display further fields in the line item report generated using Tcode FBL1N . i have refered OSS note 373268 it only discuss about fields available from index table ( BSID/BSAD/BSIK/BASK/BSIS/BSAS ) and special field from tables ( BKPF, BSEG, BSEC, BSED... ) using FAKP .My requirement is to add NAME1 from LFA1. Pls suggest a solution.
    Thanks,
    Karthik

    Hi Ushma,
    Its possible.No need to cpy into Z transaction.  You'll have to use a BTE for it.
    Go to FIBF.
    Create a 'Z' product.
    Put your own. Goto settings-> P/S modules-> of a customer.
    Now in the event 00001650 of z product there is a function module.
    It'll be 'LINE_ITEMS_GET_GKONT'.
    make a z by copying this and then put it here.
    Put code in that ZLINE_ITEMS_GET_GKONT.
    Also create append structure in RFPOS and RFPOSX with the fields you want.
    And activate.

  • How to insert abap code in LSMW generated program?

    hi,
    i m working on LSMW for loading data in SAP
    i would like to insert abap code into the generated program....
    it's because i have 1 BKPF segment (header data), 2 BSEG segments, but i cannot define rules by customizing for the second BSEG segment(LSMW doesn't permitt).
    i already tried to insert code directly into the program, but obviously it disapears at each time i generate the program.
    i saw that apparently a code insertion has already be made into this program and the subject of this insertion is to define rules for the second BSEG (exactly what i want to do....) and this modification doesn't disapear at new prog generation.....
    Any idea ?

    Hi
    Why dont you use the FORM provided by LSMW
    To use this please do the following
    1.Goto option <b>Maintain Field Mapping and Conversion Rules</b>
    2.Goto menu <b>EXTRAS->LAYOUT->Form Routines</b>
      Here you will now get many options like
       Global Data
       Begin of Transaction
    Begin of Processing
    Begin of Record

  • Acrobat Pro XI V11.0.2 - Word 2010 to PDF conversion fails to generate header text

    Hello,
    Following the recent update to V11.0.2, the Acrobat PDF converter for Word 2010 fails to generate the output document correctly. It misses out the text box part of the Word header.
    However, using Acrobat XI via the "Print to PDF printer" appears to generate the output file correctly.
    System is Windows XP-SP3 with Office 2010 (and all current updates), plus Acrobat Pro V11.0.2
    Example Word source and resulting PDF are available, if anyone can figure out how to use this web interface to post examples.
    Colin Butcher.

    Hello,
    No, there is no change in behaviour on my Windows XP machines, nor would I expect there to be given that there has been no change until V11.0.3 was released.
    Given that you’ve reproduced the problem, albeit on a different machine, it seems reasonable to assume that the problem is related to Acrobat. If you can reproduce the behaviour, then you should be able to fix it.
    The problem still exists with V11.0.3. I look forward to it being resolved shortly.
    Colin.

  • Xrpcc fails to generate wsdl

    I followed the example to generate the HelloWorld jaxrpc example. xrpcc failed to generate a wsdl document. No clues were given as to why.
    I am also trying to invoke the HelloWorld service from Microsoft .Net. Is there any sample code available?
    Any help would be appreciated.

    in generating a .net client your life becomes a lot easier, just point the wsdl executable at the .wsdl file and you're done. all you have to do is plug the generated class into your application. it's so much easier than the recent java implementations - it's embarrasing

  • Mapping Code cannot be generated after reconsile

    This is the second project I am about to deploy, but just before deploying to production I found out that after adding some cube attributes and reconcile the target into the cube mapping I get a message with NO errors.
    Code cannot be generated.
    See validation details.
    I went to the validations details and I found
    VLD-0001: Validation completed succesfully.
    This had happen before so I end redoing some mappings, 1 or 2. But this one is too large.
    Is anyone aware of bugs after reconciling the targets in the mappings.

    I found it.
    After the reconcile to the target, since I using a Loading Type Update/Insert the mathcing constraints is lost. So I just re-select the matching constraint an the mapping is working well.

  • How to create an RDBMS event generator using wlst on weblogic 10.3

    how to create an RDBMS event generator using wlst on weblogic 10.3, i got a code fragment needing class "com.bea.wli.management.configuration.RDBMSEventGenChannelConfiguration"
    but i can' t find this class in classpath on weblogic 10.3, pls help me, thanks. code sample is better.

    Hi,
    RDBMS Event Generator Channel Rule Definition
    When you are creating channel rule definitions in the WebLogic Integration Administration Console, it is recommended that you do not use the Back button if you want to resubmit the details on a page.
    You should always use the navigation links provided and create a new channel rule definition.
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E13214_01/wli/docs85/deploy/cluster.html
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E13214_01/wli/docs81/relnotes/relnotesLimit.html
    http://otndnld.oracle.co.jp/document/products/owli/docs10gr3/pdf/deploy.pdf
    This problem has been seen in the past when defining the channel rule for an RDBMS Event Generator if schema name was specified with the incorrect case (i.e. lowercase when it should have been uppercase or vice versa). To that end, it is suggested to change the case of the schema when creating the channel rule

    To prevent emails from being sent, I implemented the BurstingListener and would check for the existance of document files. If they don't exist, I throw a NullPointerException which kills the bursting process without causing an email to be sent. My implmentation is as follows:
    public void afterProcessDocument(int requestIndex,int documentIndex, Vector documentOutputs) {
    // Fetch the attachments file locations.
    Object[] arr = documentOutputs.toArray();
    // We will flag if any files could not be found.
    boolean fileNotFound = false;
    // Loop for each temp document file...
    for (int i = 0; i < arr.length; i++) {
    // Report on this file's existance and raise a flag if not.
    File file = new File((String)arr);
    if (!file.exists()) {
    fileNotFound = true;
    // OK, there was a problem so force the bursting engine to abort.
    if (fileNotFound)
    throw new NullPointerException("Bursting Engine did not process some or all documents.");

  • Failed to Generate Wrapper Class Error With Postgresql

    Hello,
    Sorry if this comes across twice, I posted it first through the Google Groups interface, but I haven't seen it show up on the dev2dev forum interface. So here it is again.
    I've read the following threads that seem to be related to this
    question:
    http://groups-beta.google.com/group/weblogic.developer.interest.jdbc/browse_thread/thread/dc8f0a9ee03e9b9f/f0a70a673db3bb52
    http://groups-beta.google.com/group/weblogic.developer.interest.jdbc/browse_thread/thread/4f3b71c77dca30c4/4ed2e1c7b76a0c7b
    I also followed the links in the second post ( I also found them via
    Google as well ). I've been very sure the Postgresql JDBC driver is
    definitely in the class path. I'm able to load it with Class.forName()
    from a JSP page and then use DriverManager to get a connection that
    works. So that definitely means the driver is found.
    What else can cause this?
    The only really odd thing I am doing is running Weblogic on OS X,
    10.3.7 with all the updates. I know that this Weblogic setup works
    since I work on Oracle all day (using the provided Weblogic driver in
    8.1SP3). Just when I try to create a Postgresql connection for testing
    our app against Postgresql.
    I've tried it on Windows with Weblogic 8.1SP3 and it works, so I know
    Weblogic is capable of using this driver.

    Patrick,
    1. Could you try to test the postgress connection pool using
    "Test Connection" on the pool set up page?
    2. Could you compare config.xml for broken and working installations
    in part of the connection pool settings?
