This transaction is not having 122 or 123 movement types..
This issue is not related to SPRO, as the same reversal done for another item smoothly, this is related to particular item for which I need to set Goods Issue indicator.

  • Unplanned goods issue

    Dear friends,
Can anybody tell what is unplaned goods issue  for production order, and please give step by step procedure

    Hi,
Goods Issue with Reference to an Order
Use: - When withdrawing components for an order, the system distinguishes between the following types of goods issues:
Planned Goods Issue (for Reservation/Order): -
With this type of withdrawal the system automatically creates a reservation for the components planned in the order. When you enter the goods issue, you can reference the order or the reservation. The system determines all components to be withdrawn.
    Unplanned Goods Issue:-
With this type of withdrawal, it is determined during the production process that an additional material or an additional quantity of a component already withdrawn is required for an order. This withdrawal is unplanned because there is no reservation to be referenced. You enter this withdrawal as a goods issue without reference.
Entering Goods Issue Without Reference (Unplanned Goods Issue): -
Entering a goods receipt without referencing a document involves the following steps:
    1. MIGO - Goods Issue > Others (Here use movement type "261")
    2. Enter all details like; material, qty, plant, storage location, etc...
    3. In "Account Assignment" Tab enter "Production Order No"
Note: - If U select Goods Issue > Order and enter Order No and system defaults the materials and qty then its planned.

  • MB1A : FI doc for Goods Issue

    Hi,
When i enter Goods Issue with Tcode : MB1A betwen 2 plants i have two FI Docs created automatically, i want to know when we maintain the accounts used in these docs.
Please what's the path IMG or Tcode to do that?
    Regards.

    Hi,
GBB is for Offsetting entry for inventory posting.
U can assign ur GL accounts to that particular valuation class for such material u r making goods issue.
How does the system find the relevant accounts?
When entering the goods movement, the user does not have to enter a G/L account, since the R/3 System automatically finds the accounts to which postings are to be made using the following data:
o Chart of accounts of the company code
If the user enters a company code or a plant when entering a transaction, the R/3 System determines the chart of accounts, which is valid for the company code. You must define the automatic account determination individually for each chart of accounts.
o Valuation grouping code of the valuation area
If the automatic account determination within a chart of accounts is to run differently for certain company codes or plants (valuation areas), assign different valuation grouping codes to these valuation areas.
You must define the automatic account determination individually for every valuation grouping code within a chart of accounts. It applies to all valuation areas which are assigned to this valuation grouping code.
If the user enters a company code or a plant when entering a transaction, the system determines the valuation area and the valuation grouping code.
o Transaction/event key (internal processing key)
Posting transactions are predefined for those inventory management and invoice verification transactions relevant to accounting.
Posting records, which are generalized in the value string, are assigned to each relevant movement type in inventory management and each transaction in invoice verification. These contain keys for the relevant posting transaction (for example, inventory posting and consumption posting) instead of actual G/L account numbers.
You do not have to define these transaction keys, they are determined automatically from the transaction (invoice verification) or the movement type (inventory management). All you have to do is
assign the relevant G/L account to each posting transaction.
o Account grouping (only for offsetting entries, consignment liabilities, and price differences)
Since the posting transaction "Offsetting entry for inventory posting" is used for different transactions (for example, goods issue, scrapping, physical inventory), which are assigned to different accounts (for example, consumption account, scrapping, expense/income from inventory differences), it is necessary to divide the posting transaction according to a further key: account grouping code.
An account grouping is assigned to each movement type in inventory management which uses the posting transaction "Offsetting entry for inventory posting". Under the posting transaction "Offsetting entry for inventory posting", you must assign G/L accounts for every account grouping,
    that is, assign G/L accounts.
If you wish to post price differences to different price difference accounts in the case of goods receipts for purchase orders, goods receipts for orders, or other movements, you can define different account grouping codes for the transaction key. Using the account grouping, you can also have different accounts for consignment liabilities and pipeline liabilities.
o Valuation class of material or (in case of split valuation) the valuation type
The valuation class allows you to define automatic account determination that is dependent on the material. for example: you post a goods receipt of a raw material to a different stock account than if the goods receipt were for trading goods, even though the user enters the same transaction for both materials.
You can achieve this by assigning different valuation classes to the materials and by assigning different G/L accounts to the posting transaction for every valuation class. If you do not want to differentiate according to valuation classes you do not have to maintain a valuation class for a transaction.
Offsetting entry for stock posting (GBB)
Offsetting entries for stock postings are used in Inventory
Management. They are dependent on the account grouping to which each
movement type is assigned. The following account groupings are
    defined in the standard system:
    - AUA: for order settlement
    - AUF: for goods receipts for orders (without account
    assignment)
and for order settlement if AUA is not maintained
    - AUI: Subsequent adjustment of actual price from cost center
    directly
    to material (with account assignment)
    - BSA: for initial entry of stock balances
    - INV: for expenditure/income from inventory differences
    - VAX: for goods issues for sales orders without
account assignment object (the account is not a cost
    element)
    - VAY: for goods issues for sales orders with
account assignment object (account is a cost element)
    - VBO: for consumption from stock of material provided to
    vendor
    - VBR: for internal goods issues (for example, for cost
    center)
    - VKA: for sales order account assignment
(for example, for individual purchase order)
    - VKP: for project account assignment (for example, for
    individual PO)
    - VNG: for scrapping/destruction
    - VQP: for sample withdrawals without account assignment
    - VQY: for sample withdrawals with account assignment
    - ZOB: for goods receipts without purchase orders (mvt type
    501)
    - ZOF: for goods receipts without production orders
    (mvt types 521 and 531)
You can also define your own account groupings. If you intend to
post goods issues for cost centers (mvt type 201) and goods issues
for orders (mvt type 261) to separate consumption accounts, you can
assign the account grouping ZZZ to movement type 201 and account
grouping YYY to movement type 261.
I hope u got the explanation what u wanted.
    Assign points if useful

  • I Forget to enter a Good issues : now logistic period is closed

    Hi,
i have some Good issues to enter but they dated from June and July : these month are closed !
Please how to solve that ? and what is the consequences of each solution.
    Regards.

I doubt if the FI team will allow to open earlier periods, you can GI these in the current period but a couple of things to keep in mind are how the invoicing will be handled and also if there are too many deliveries that have left warehouse but havent been PGId it is considered a SOX violation.

  • Goods Receipt / Goods Issue / Transfer Posting

    Hi
    Scenario:
A pack contains 6 materials of same type but of 3 different colors viz Red:2; Yellow:2; White:2.
I purchase this pack and sell the same pack.
If sales of this pack is not not much, then i do a Goods Issue to a Cost Center. And then i want to do a Goods Receipt into my Inventory as individual items of 6.....2 nos. each of  Red, Yellow and White.
How to do GR in to my inventory all the four materials viz:
    1. Pack (of 6 material)......ofcourse i am able to do w.r.t PO.
    2. Individual entry of all 3 types Red,yellow, white
    kindly answer me ASAP
    cheers
    MaruthiRam

As per your 1st post, it seems that there would be a material code for Pack and 3 material masters for Red, White and Yellow materials (If not then create)
And when you are selling to customer, you are selling the pack not individual material and when you are issuing against cost center, issuing the pack only.
    So
GI of Pack; MIGO - Goods Issue > Others (Movement Type 201)
And GR of Red, White and Yellow materials; MIGO - Goods Receipt > Others (Movement Type 202) from Same Cost Center as in GI. Enter Red, White and Yellow materials, plant, storage location, quantity, etc... manually.
The above 2 transactions to be done separately 1st GI and the again go to MIGO and do GR.

    Hi,
You can tell the user to run ME23N AND go to the header and select the status tab and the system will show the history as far as open, delivered and closed.
Or you can run ME2N for the material or MMBE for the material to see the entire history of the material.

  • RG1 updation for Reversal of Goods Issue

    Hi,
I am a SD person . We recently started RG1 for our client by deleting all the previous data from J_2IRG1BAL table & also mantaining the initial balances for finished goods .
When we do a goods reversal for a cancelled sales order ( say movement type 602 against 601 for goods issue ), according to standard SAP, the reversal entry  shows up in ROP ( Other Receiepts).
What the client is demanding that , the Goods reversal entry should show should show up in the Issue Column Only ( like IDE or IDH), with a negative sign ... so it cancels out .
Client is saying that if it is in different columns, then the excise authorities will create a problem .
How does it work for others. Is the format of RG1 specified bu indian excise authorities only ? have the excise authorities imposed some regulations on that
    Thanks in advance
    Anmol

For return /reversal using MB1a - please follow the steps-
MB1A- then enter movt type 262, plant & SLOC & then press enter instead of to order
& then one scrren will come where you will enter the mat no , qty & order no & save.

  • Posting period on status "period closing" allows enter goods receipt

    Hi to all:
My customer is having the problem that the posting periods that is on status "period closing" allows users to save goods receipt and goods issue that DON'T have the authorizations under:
    1) General / Period status: Unlocked Except Sales
    2) General / Period status: Closing Period
But any other kind of marketing document, journal entry, shows the error correctly:
"user is not authorized for data entry in posting periods with status 'Closing Period'. Contact your Administrator"
According to the Help of SBO, the period status authorizations are:
"Unlocked Except Sales u2013 all types of transactions and documents, except for the documents under the Sales u2013 A/R module."
"Period Closing u2013 users who have period closing authorization can post all types of transactions and documents."
We are using Period Closing option for example in May, but even i dont have the authorizations for these options, and i can enter goods receipt and goods issue without problems, is this normal? and Why?
I only think it could be that goods issue and goods receipt is seen like a stock fix transaction but im not shure about this.
I have tested this in PL42 and PL46, thanks a lot for your help.

  • How does Goods Issue know which Batches to deallocate from A/R Credit Memo?

    Hi,
I am creating an addon that runs after a A/R Credit Memo is created.  It creates a Goods Issue, and enters the Item Code and the Quantity from the line items on the Credit Memo into the Goods Issue.
After it writes the Goods Issue to SAP, I open up the document it created and see that the line items are in there correctly, and that somehow the batches assigned to those line items are also in there.
There is nothing in the code that does anything with the Batches, but somehow SAP knows which batches to work with.
I haven't been able to find any info about it.  Can you please help us understand what is happening?  How does SAP know and make assignments to batches in line items in Goods Issues?
    Thank you,
    Mike

    Hi Michael and Gordon,
Sorry Gordon, I'm quite sure you misunderstood Michael original question. Michael asked how the add-on he created could link corresponding batch number from an A/R Credit Memo document could be selected by Goods Issue document which generated by the add-on, while he actually never wrote a code to select any batches numbers which available in the system.
Maybe a little bit of illustration:
    1. Item A, qty 10 - (batch A qty 5, batch B qty 3, batch C qty 2)
    2. A/R Credit Memo occurred, return of Item A with 3 qty (batch A qty 1, batch B qty 1, batch D qty 1). Therefore, item A latest position should be (batch A qty 6, batch B qty 4, batch C qty 2, batch D qty 1). This A/R Credit Memo created by add-on.
    3. Goods Issue document triggered by add-on. The problem is, Michael never write any code to select any batch numbers, and somehow the system choose batch number precisely as occurred in number 2 (A/R Credit Memo document), which is (batch A qty 1, batch B qty 1, batch D qty 1). Therefore the stock position for Item A back to as being displayed in number 1.
I believe this shouldn't be possible at all. Unless, there is a certain mechanism in SAP that automatically choose batch number to used in Goods Issue document using LIFO (Last In First Out), which is, as far as I know never exist in any SAP B1 version. Yes you could automatically choose batch numbers according to available batch, but you could do this when system prompt you when you tried to issue certain document using SAP application itself, not using add-on.
And of course, you could write a code to choose certain batches based on certain A/R Credit Memo, but still, you need to write a code, you can't do this without a code, selection of batches is compulsory when you tried to add a goods issue document which consist of items that managed using batches.
In my opinion, I think it is better for you to re-write those codes and relate batches you want to attach with your Goods Issue document based on corresponding A/R Credit Memo. It is much safer, and the error message you encountered won't happen again in the future.

  • Delivery and Goods Issue

    Hi,
I am new to SAP and was trying to do a Goods Issue after creating a delivery. When i click on Goods Issue from the delivery document, I get the message
" Storage Location not defined for delivery item 000010"
When I try to go to picking overview and manually enter the storage location, it gives me a message,
" Error while determining ref. mov. type for WM via table 156S/601////L/X"
Could you please advice me for the same?
    Thanks and Regards,
       Aditya

Go to your material master and input the storage location there.
Maybe you have WM view active in MM. The location from where you are trying to delivery is a Warehouse managed location. you post some stock to storage location, which is not warehouse managed. Or do the stock transfer to this location. Then you will be able to do the PGI.
    Thanks
