EP application to get alerts

I am working with the trial ABAP and NW Java SP9 software. I am experimenting with an application to pull alerts from the ABAP server. This is what I'm trying to do.
- Create an alert using the TC alrtcatdef and following the steps given in the
document "How to integrate the BW reporting with the alert framework."
- Use the demo program RSALERTDEMO1 to create an alert. I can then view these in the inbox using the TC alrtinbox
- I set up a system landscape and map users from the ABAP system to the Enterprise Portal (EP).
- I want to create a Java application on EP which pulls the alerts
These are my questions:
Is the system landscape the mechanism to pull data from a particular client? What is the mapping for things such as client number, logical system name between the ABAP and EP?
I'm not sure if I've set up the system landscape properly in EP. under the property editor -> property category (Connector), my SAP client is 002 and my SAP System ID is NSP.
If I don't set up a Logical System Name for client 002, what value should I use for the logical system?
How can I schedule the EP application to pull alerts regularly, e.g. say every 5 minutes?

Why do I keep getting alerts for shared calendars?

I have a calendar set up in Calendar, it syncs with iCloud.
My wife has a clanedar set up in Calendar, it syncs with iCloud.
Both calendars are shared, so we can see what the others availability is on a given day at a given time.
But why do I keep getting alerts on my iPhone (and only on my iPhone) for my WIFE's events? I've turned off the "show shared calendar events" button in the calendar preferences on my iPhone, but I'm *still* getting alerts for all her events. I don't need this, I don't want this, I turned it off... why is it still happening?
My iCloud calendar is defaulted to my calendar. I do not get alerts on my iMac for her events, only on the iphone. Can anyone help? I never want to see her events unless I manually go and look at them on my calendars or in iCloud calendar.

That is not the current release.
The current release is Firefox 34.0.5.
If there are problems with updating or with the permissions then best is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.

If you don't want it to say "Microsoft Internet Explorer," you can use a different browser. :-)
But, seriously...
If you really want to customize the appearance of a dialog, you can make one with DHTML that looks like anything you want. You can make it look like a system dialog if you want, but you don't have to. (In fact, if you make it look like a Windows dialog, it will stick out like a sore thumb if someone is using another OS.)
I had to create some of these for an online testing application I wrote, because they wanted the tests to be timed, and I discovered that, in Internet Explorer, you could stop the clock just by opening certain dialogs, so I had to suppress "right-clicking," remove the menu bars, and use custom dialogs to communicate with the user. How to get alerts out of SCOM and into a 3rd party management tool

I am creating an integration between a 3rd party management tool and System Center Operations Manager 2012 R2. I need to export alerts such as Power Off / Power On / Configuration change for both virtual machines and hyperv servers from SCOM
into our application. Our application runs on linux so I cannot do any .NET programming, however I can run Powershell scripts remotely using WinRM.
What is the best way to do this? I am aware of using the powershell cmdlet Get-SCOMAlert but is there any other way that does not involve polling?

Think of Orchestrator as a "router", that will route information and workflows between SCOM, and [insert 3rd party product here]. Depending on your 3rd party product, there may be an "integration pack" for it that Orchestrator can use for out of the
box tasks.
So what's an integration pack? Well - think of it like a management pack, but for Orchestrator. SCOM does monitoring, but it doesn't know how to monitor something unless you install the relevant management pack. The management pack contains
all the rules/monitors for monitoring whatever it is you wish to monitor.
Well, an integration pack is similar in concept, except it tells Orchestrator how to interface and integrate with whatever it is you're trying to perform tasks with.
For what you want to do, there is a SCOM integration pack. This is a set of tasks that can get alerts and events out of Operations Manager (there are also tasks that can create and close alerts in Operations Manager).
From what I can imagine - you would want to get alerts out of SCOM when they happen (so you would use one of the SCOM orchestrator tasks to "get alert if status = new, and source = myapplication"), and then you can pass that alert to another task - such
as write it to a CSV file or something. You could then have another task that picks up that CSV file, and passes it to your application where it can be captured. Or you could use the CSV to populate variables in a powershell script, and then powershell
that information into your app.
There are many ways you could do this, but I do believe that Orchestrator would be the better option.

I configured Alerts in PI 7.0. with the help of t-code u2018ALRTCATDEF and created a new alert catergory.
In container tab i have mentioned all give below elements.

Ex my message is failed in AE:as below.
My messages flow as : SAP --> XI --> DB.
Messages is success (in ECC moni)> XI moni also success> XI Adapter engine getting error as (Status: System Error) and (Error Category : XI_J2EE_ADAPTER_JDBC).

Try removing the Genius database. In the "Finder" go to the /username/Music/iTunes/ folder and delete the "iTunes Library Genius.itdb" file. This may allow the program to launch again. This file will be recreated upon first use of the "Genius" feature.

Net.Msmq Binding Not Picking Up Messages in Queue as soon as the application pool gets recycled

We are trying to implement a wcf service that exposes a net.msmq endpoint. We are running windows server 2008 R2/IIS 7.5 running on a DOMAIN mode.
1. Our service is called service.svc and it is deployed under an application called Test in the default website (application pool running under network service)
2. The url to reach the service webpage is http://machinename/Test/service.svc.
3. We created a private queue called Test/service.svc and we configured permissions for network service to full control.
Now, when the application pool is "alive" the service picks up the messages correctly, but as soon as the application pool gets recycled (because of timeout or any other reason), the service stops picking up the messages, that just sit in the queue until the service starts again by browsing to the service webpage (http://machinename/Test/service.svc)

Our configuration includes a transactional queue called Test/Service.svc (unauthenticated,
we shut down all security for the moment...does it matter?) and these attributes on the service:

The service is hosted on IIS 7.5 under an application called Test (so that the full http address of the service is http://machine/Test/Service.svc).
In the configuration (for both client and service) we specified None for the security mode, "true" value in durable and exactlyOnce
The Net.msmq Listener Adapter windows service is running fine under the Network Service account (the same as our application pool)
Is there something we are missing?
Also, can you explain how a transaction not configured properly can create this behaviour? In my understanding the process of delivering a message happens in 3 steps (I remember a nice picture of this the Juval Lowy book):
1) Transaction 1: client delivers message to local instance of msmq. The transaction rolls back if the message does not get delivered.
2) Transaction 2: the local instance of msmq delivers the message to the remote (service) instance of msmq. The transaction rolls back if the message does not get delivered.
3) Transaction 3: wcf activates my service which picks up the message and process it. The transaction rolls back if the service fails to pick up the message or does not complete the transaction (for example, because of an unhandled exception).
The message gets delivered to the service machine successfully, so I am assuming that steps 1 and 2 are executed correctly. If my service was not configured to handle transaction properly, wcf should still activate it and do something with it. Or at least,
if it doesn't get activated at all, this should be the case even when the application pool is well alive and awake, because it should be a configuration problem. Instead, the service works great if the appPool is alive and it never gets activated when the
appPool is sleeping (absolute nothing in the .svclog trace file generated by the service). Am I saying something wrong?
