EPrint email redirect setup

Hi,
Is it possible in any way to redirect a more memorable email address to the printer (eg [email protected])?
The reason I ask, is that I tried and it failed with 'too many recipients..."
Thanks,
Neil

I had hopes for this>>Set up a Gmail account that is seperate from  other email addresses and kept private other than for family /friends to send items to the printer. In Gmail under Settings have it forward all emails  to your HP eprint address.
Fail! Get message in Eprint center about too many recipients.Wish HP could fix this.

  • B110a won't upgrade nor show ePrint email

    Hi there,
I'm having a difficulty getting my B110a printer to work through ePrint. The printer is connected to the WiFi and can print any document from any computer within that network no problem. I wanted to start using ePrint though, so wanted to check my ePrint email address, but got a message "Register Error - Please upgrade your product". So went to the firmware upgrade, but there I'm getting bounced off by another error - "Your printer has the most current updates installed. There are no new updates available at this time".
I've also tried to get a Claim Code (that was my initial step, actually), but my printer does not have anything like it's being advised here (by the way, same 3 line information is repeated 3 times! - link: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c03550536&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en#N1004, under HP Photosmart Printer):
On the printer control panel, touch the Web Services or ePrint icon ( ).
If Web Services is enabled , touch Print Report . An information sheet prints.
If Web Services is not enabled , touch Enable Web Services , and then touch OK . An information sheet prints. Your claim code is on the information sheet.
On the printer control panel, press or touch Setup (), select Wireless , and then selectWeb Services .
If Web Services is enabled , select Print Report . An information sheet prints. Your claim code is on the information sheet.
If Web Services is not enabled , select Enable Web Services , and then select OK . An information sheet prints. Your claim code is on the information sheet.
On the printer control panel, press or touch Setup ( ), and then select Web .
If Web Services is enabled , select Print Report . An information sheet prints. Your claim code is on the information sheet.
If Web Services is not enabled , select Enable Web Services , and then select OK . An information sheet prints. Your claim code is on the information sheet.
Nor I have anything listed in eStation section (wasn't sure if B110a is an eStation or not, so checked that section as well):
On the printer control panel, touch Menu ( ).
Touch Settings , and then touch Web Services .
If Web Services is enabled , touch Print ePrint Information . An information sheet prints. Your claim code is on the information sheet.
Please, HP, help! It must be, by far, the most frustrating product / service experience in my life!
PS. I wanted to highlight above quotes from your website within this message, but got another error "invalid HTML has been removed from your message". Without the highlighting, however, it works. Why would the highlight option be here if you can't use it?
PS2. Definitely the most frustrating experience in my life

Let's set a static IP address and external DNS for the printer:
    - Print a Network Config Page from the front of the printer. Note the printer's IP address.
    - Type that IP address into a browser to reveal the printer's internal settings.
    - Choose the Networking tab, then Wireless along the left side, then the IPv4 tab.
    - On this screen you want to set a Manual IP. You need to set an IP address outside the range that the router automatically sets (called the DHCP range). If you do not know the range, change the last set of numbers (those after the last '.') to 250
    - Use 255.255.255.0 for the subnet (unless you know it is different, if so, use that)
    - Enter your router's IP (on the Network Config Page) for the gateway.
    - Enter 8.8.8.8 for the first DNS and 8.8.4.4 for the second DNS. This is Google DNS. You can choose another external DNS if you wish.
    - Click 'Apply'.
Now, shut down the router and printer, start the router, wait, then start the printer.
After this you may need to redo 'Add a Printer' using the new IP address.

  • Hp deskjet 3050 J611 eprint email address

Hi. I have the Galaxy 4S, and am trying to find an app to allow me to print notes, lists etc using the voice to text feature. I already have the deskjet all in one (3050A J611) which works on my computers and used to work fine on my old iphone. However, in trying to set up the HP eprint app, it wants my "hp eprint email address of the printer, ie: [email protected]" I can't find such an address ANYWHERE. I have printed test pages from the printer, my Windows printer, etc, etc, but cannot find anything that is anywhere near to this. PLEASE help! I need to be able to print notes and lists asap. Thank you.

On the front panel of the printer, there is a button that says ePrint.  You will have to enable that or view your current ePrint email after you press that.  Let me know if you have any problems finding that. I can help guide you through www.eprintcenter.com in regards to setup.
Start with page 15 of the user guide for pictures and better descriptions.

  • Can't find eprint email address for my HP 6500A Plus

Please help me figure out how to find the eprint email address for my HP 6500A Plus printer so that I can set up Google cloud print on my new HP 14" Chromebook.
    This question was solved.
    View Solution.

    Hi lbwmson,
Welcome to the HP Support forums.  I understand that you would like to setup your Officejet 6500A Plus printer to work with your Chromebook.
First we need to get the printer connected to your wireless network.  This can be easily accomplished from the front panel of the printer. the instructions can be found on page 224 of your User Guide in the section titled "To set up a wireless communication using the Wireless Setup Wizard".
The next step is Getting your Claim Code when you enable web services. Once that you have your claim code you'll want to Set Up A Custom Email Address for your printer.
We can now set up Google Cloud Print with your HP Printer.  For additional reference I've also included how to Print a Page from Google Chrome Support.  If you are going to use the scanning function please refer to your User Guide on page 41.  It has a section titled "Scan Using Webscan".  It will walk you through the scanning you have available with the Chromebook.

  • From reading this forum and my own it experance the HP "eprint" email server is flawed!

Having read on this forum and from my own experience only a limited number of email providers email addreses will be accepted by the eprint email address it certainly does not accept emails from hotmail.com and hotmail.co.uk they bounce almost before they are sent!!!
So own up HP I bought in to your sales BS  and there certainly wasn't any caveats saying that you eprint system does it did not work with certain email providers.
I note that someone calling himself an interested employee of HP  has been suggesting that its the providers fault, well I have been using hotmail for donkeys years and the only time my emails have bounced is when I have incorrectly entered the wrong send address configuration or the attachments were too large!
I am getting on, but for the life of me I cannot found any eprint support contact email address on their web page, is there one? or is HP hoping that their customers will sort out their problems for them?
For the record I can see my printer on line via the eprint web site and all the reports are correct so its not a fault at my end .
So HP if you actually monitor this forum get your act together and give us what your sales blurb said it would!

For those who are experiencing ongoing issues with their web services, you can attempt to try the following steps that may
    help resolve your problems.
1.) Completely shut down your printer and restart it
2.) If you have prints that have not printed, log into ePrint Center (or create an account if you do not have one) and
then look for your printer status. If printer status is green but you still have pending jobs, delete the pending jobs one at
a time (Starting with the oldest first). There may be a print job stuck in the queue that further restricts other jobs from
    completing.
    a. If option 1 or 2 above still doesn’t work, removing web services and re-adding web services will cause the printer to
    reattach to the cloud.
    b. Please note that if you attempt option 3, you will get a new eprint email address (and lose your custom one with no
ability to get it back) furthermore, you will need to re-add your printer back to your ePC account.

  • I have had to semi-reset and reinstall my hp6500a plus. How do I keep the same eprint email address?

I have had a network blowup and a new computer and was told to do a semi-reset and full install on my Inkjet hp6500a plus. How do I keep the same eprint email address which I have given out to a number of people? When I did the install I seem to have been re-assigned a new @hpprint address and can't find how to change it back.

    Hi,
I affraid you will not be able to use the same address.
Due to security reasons any removed ePrint address (due to Web Services removal, product reset or product replacement) is blocked for any user for 6 months period.
You may select a difference customized address by following the steps below:

  • Can i use an old eprint email account with a new printer?

can i use an old eprint email account with a new printer?

    Hello arbazu,
Unfortunately, when setting up a new/replacement printer, you wont be able to use the same email address, nor can it be transferred to another printer. Once an email is used, the email address itself is not able to be used for a certain period of time (which I believe is 6 months).
However, by creating a new email address, but adding an 01 or 02 at the end, you can get something very similar to what you had previously.

  • How can I get my hp eprint email address from a remote location?

I am currently away from home and need to print something for my wife.  I have tested out eprint before but never tried it from a remote location.  I cannot recall the email address for my printer.  Is there any way to retrieve this without being at the printer?  I imagine that I had to sign in to the eprintcenter website to test this so alternatively, is there a way to retrieve the email address I used to set up my eprintcenter account?  I am offered a way to retrieve the password but that doesn't help much if I cannot recall my eprintcenter account's email.
    Thanks,
    Jeff

    Hi Epoclaen,
I see that you are trying to locate your ePrint email address.  The only way this can be done would be to log into your ePrint account so it would require you to remember your ePrint log on information.  The email address that's used to create an account is usually your personal email address.  I would try using your personal email address to log into the account.  Let me know how it goes.

  • The hp printer control app can not find my eprint email.

I have an iPad 2 and I've installed the hp printer control app on it. The app can not find my eprint email which I've typed in several times. I have checked the eprint email on the printer control panel to make sure it is the correct eprint email. The printer is a office pro 8600.

    Dear Diavonex:
I DID what you've recommended: turning off the router. NO SUCCESS.
    Best Regards,

At this time the only way to reprint ePrint emails is to have the original sender resend the email to the printer.
