Eprint Setup

Hi
I purchased an HP 5520e yesterday.
Set up went well.. prints beautifully from PC.
I have set up eprint as far as I can go - the printer has an email address, and on the eprint center it is showing as connected and ready.
I have tried emailing the printer a jpeg attachment to print but nothing happens. I have tried from both my smartphone and also my outlook at work.
I keep refreshing the page on the eprint center but the job never shows.
I have also had an email bounce back "
This message has not yet been delivered. Microsoft Exchange will continue to try delivering the message on your behalf."
Is there something I have missed?
Thanks

Hi there, it sounds like you've done everything right but take a look at this support document and work down through the potential cause for ePrint jobs not printing to see if the cause of the problem is covered there.

  • Eprint setup is not working

hi, i am trying to set up my new hp 8600 officejet. i am having  a very hard time setting eprint: whatever printer code was printer does not work. It says"invalid code". What can be done to sucessfully setup printing from a mobile device? Thanks!

It sounds like your code might have expired.
Press the ePrint button in the top left hand corner of the screen on the printer. Once there, go into "Settings" and scroll down until you see "Remove Web Services". After web services has been removed, it will take you back to the home screen. Press the ePrint button again and it will ask you if you want to enable web services. After you enable web services, it will print off a new printer code for you. This one should be different than the last one and this one should work for you.

    Factory reset on printer
Had to do a factory reset on the printer. When setting up ePrint again, I put in my email address and it says that it's already in use. The ePrint website assigns a non-sensical email address to the printer. How do I get it to use the original email address without giving me an error?

    Hi,
I afraid you will not be able to use the previous email address.
Any ePrint address unassigned from a device is ocked and cannot be used by any user for a 6 months period due to security reasons.
You may follow the steps below to select a new customized ePrint address:

Try restarting your Wifi - Router.
Check the maximum number of devices that can be connected to your Wifi - Router.
Try disconnecting other devices and connect your Printer and Laptop to the router and try the below option.
EPrint Setup Process for your printer.
    1. Connect the printer to a network with Internet Connection. (Make sure your laptop or Computer is connected to the same network as Printer)
    2. Check the Printers IP address on the printers front panel.
    3. Type the IP address of the printer on a browser on your computer and press Enter.
    4. On the Webpage that appears click HP Web Services Tab.
    5. If your network supports proxy you can add the proxy in this page.
    6. Review and accept the terms of use, and then click Enable Button.
    7. The printer should print an information sheet with code on that.
    8. <code>@hpeprint.com will be your email ID.
This is just a method to register the printer to cloud from the Laptop. You can also try to register the printer from front panel as well.
    Hope this helps.

  • How to configure ePrint on LaserJet CP1025nw Color Printer

    Solution found:
How to Configure HP ePrint on the LaserJet CP1025nw Color Printer
    System:     Windows  (Widows 7)
    Step 1 – Install Printer
Install the CP1025nw Printer to USB, Wifi or Ethernet.
(Printer needs to print correctly in order to pass to the next steps).
    Step2 – Check Firmware Version
Press the “Info-Button” on the CP1025nw LaserJet for five seconds.
The printer will print two info pages.
Look at the first Page on the top-left for Firmware Version
Firmware version must be 20120103 or higher.
    Step 3 – Update Firmware
Download Firmware Update utility (LJCP1020_FWUpdate_signed.exe) from the following link:
Utilidad de actualización del firmware de HP LaserJet CP1025nw
    or
    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=lj-86491-5&cc=es&dlc=es&lc=es&...=
Execute the Utility on the computer were the CP1025nw LaserJet is correctly installed.
Find the CP1025nw Printer on the list. The selection Window might show the printer several times depending on how the printer was installed. Select one option and press the button “Update One”.
Step 4 – Retrieve the Printer Code for your CP1025nw Printer
    ATTENTION:
The “Host Name” of the printer is not the “Printer-Code” you need  for ePrint setup.
To retrieve the Printer-Code you must run the ePrint-Setup-Wizard-Utility.
To download of the utility, go to the link: http://www.hp.com/go/ePrint .
Find the “HP LaserJet Pro CP1020 Color Printer Series” option in the Drop-Down-List.
Click “Windows” to download the wizard (EPrintSetupWizard.exe ).
Execute the Wizard on the computer where the CP1025nw Printer is correctly installed. After running the wizard press the “Info-Button” on the CP1025nw LaserJet for five seconds. The printer will print three info pages. The third info-page offers the Printer-Code you need for ePrint setup. The code is valid for 24h only. When time elapses you have to reprint the info-pages to get an actualized Printer-Code.
Step 5 – Get Printer Email for your CP1025nw LaserJet
In order ePrint on your CP1025nw Printer you need to assign an email address to your Printer. To do this, go to the following link: http://www.hpeprintcenter.com/
Log in with your HP-ID. If you don’t have one, register for a new account.
When logged in, click on “Add new Printer”-button. You will be asked to enter the Printer-Code. (On how to get the Printer-Code, see step 4).
While evaluating the Printer-Code, be patient, the program needs its time.
When the Printer-Code is accepted, you can assign an email address for your CP102nw5 LaserJet. Done this, your con print your CP1025nw Printer just by sending the documents per email to the email-address of your printer.
    Done.

  • How do I make my printer an ePrinter

    D110a

    Hey panchovia82,
Follow these instructions to setup ePrint.
    HP ePrint Setup Steps
    1. Enable Web (Cloud) Services on your ePrint enabled HP printer.
    a. Touch the wrench and go to wireless.
    b. Now go to Web Services and follow the instructions there.
    2. When the printer connects to the ePrint servers, shortly after, a HP ePrint Mobile Printing page will
    print.
    a. A Product Update may be needed in order to continue to enable Web Services.
    3. Bring the ePrint page mentioned in step 2 to a Web connected computer.
    4. Open an Internet Browser on the Internet connected computer.
    5. Navigate to www.eprintcenter.com in the Internet Browser.
    6. Select the Blue button that reads “Sign In” on the Home Page at ePrintcenter.com.
    7. After selecting “Sign In” a window will open. Select “Sign Up” in Blue letters at the top of the window.
    8. After selecting “Sign Up” a window will open allowing you to enter information to create an account.
    9. When your account has been created successfully, the account owner will be prompted to “Add
    Printer”.
    10. On the ePrint Page, from step 2, you will find a Printer Code just right of the Blue number 2. Use this
    Printer Code to “Add Printer”.
    11. Once the Printer has been added successfully you will be given the option to setup.
    12. In the Setup options you have the option to enter a Custom email address.
    a. Erase the original Printer code from the custom email address field and enter the customized
    email address of your choice.
    b. You will not have to enter the domain, @hpeprint.com.
    c. Example: [email protected]
    d. Click “Check” to confirm that the custom email address is available for use.
    13. In the Setup options you can select a security type: Allow Everyone or Authorized users only.
    a. Note: No ePrint jobs will print on your printer unless you give the customized email address to
someone. Allowing everyone simply allows whomever you give the printer email address to
send ePrint jobs to your printer.
    14. At the top of your home page confirm that your printer name is displayed and there are green check
    marks beside “Connected” & “Ready”.
    15. Congratulations you have done an Outstanding Job! Now you should be able to send ePrint jobs to
    your printer!

  • Installed LasrJet P1102w Registration and creation of eprint account I type the wrong email address

I have just completed installing my HP LasrJet P1102w and when the installation was complete it printed a Test Page. However, during the registration of the product I messed up on the Email address account to include eprint account. Now I cannot do an eprint on my new HP LaserJet P1102w nor can I Log In to my account to change the screw up. Need help. Thank you. If there is a Tel Phone # that I can call it would be appreciated. again thanks.

    Hi WBL49,
Thank you for being a member of the HP Support Forums.  I see that you setup the ePrint feature of your Laserjet P1102W printer in an account with an email address that you don’t have access to. No worries WBL49,  if you don’t remember the email address that you accidentally used there are two options available.
The first one is to disable the web services of the printer and then re-enable the web services.  This will allow you to go through the ePrint setup process again allowing you to create your account with the email address you wish to use.  I’ve included the Remove ePrint and HP Printables in HP Connected document.  Please follow the steps in the Remove ePrint section for Laserjet printers.  Once you have completed that step, please follow the steps in Getting the Printer Claim Code to get a new web services information sheet with the claim code.  Once you have the claim code, please follow the steps in Setting Up a Custom Email Address for ePrint to reclaim the printer.  If you had created a customized ePrint email address earlier, please be aware that ePrint email address is no longer available and you will need to create a new ePrint email address for the printer.
The second option is to call HP.  Please call HP’s Cloud Services at 1-855-785-2777 if you live in the USA/Canada region. If you live outside the USA/Canada region please click here to find the Technical Support number for your country/region.

  • EPrint problem with CP1525nw - connection error

I just installed a CP1525nw in our home network.  It's wired, and we can print and access the printer's web page from every computer - no problems with local printing.
However, I'm not able to successfully complete the ePrint setup. When printing the information sheet using the control panel, I quickly get the message "Connection Error, Check Connection", and it asks me to hit 'ok' to return to the main menu.
I am able to turn ePrint on and off, as well as enable and disable ePrint, both from the printer's webpage as well as the front LED menu.  Each time I toggle the latter, I get a new email address.  This successfully displays in the printer's LED window, so I know the printer is able to connect to the internet.
When I manually go to hp's ePrint website, and try to register my printer using the email address, it fails - unrecognized.
I'm aware that in order to complete the installation, the information sheet must successfully print.  That seems to be the only thing failing.  Any thoughts?
Here is some information about the printer and environment:
    - Apple AP Extreme
    - Printer directly wired to AP
    - IP: 10.0.1.17, DNS 10.0.1.1 (router)
    - Firmware: 20101125
    Thanks again.

Everything is now working just fine.  I wish I could say that I know what changed, but it must be magic.
This morning, after letting the ePrint stuff rest for a few days, I removed the service (using the web server), cycled power on the printer, added the ePrint service to the printer, and now everything is just fine.  I'm able to print from our iPad no problem.
Seems hp fixed something, just not sure what.

I'm new to eprint and I realy like it, sending emails from my Droid X2 to my HP eprinter is great. But I see from the forum there is a problem with turning off the job status alerts. I'm already getting tired of the alerts. When will this be fixed..

    Hey grammajoe!
You can turn off the alerts through ePrintCenter.com but only if you have ePrint setup with an Allowed Senders list. If you have it set to 'Everyone' there is no way to turn it off. This is actually for security reasons so that email phishing techniques don't work. But if you set your email within the allowed users list, you can turn off the ePrint notifications.
