Error 200140 and 200278 in Finite Retriggerable Encoder Triggered Sampling

Hello,
I have been using a rotary encoder to trigger a retriggerable sampling task. The encoder will give a pulse once per revolution and this will cause Labview to generate a finite pulse train which will be used to sample an analogue channel. The program will also return the pulse width of the encoder signal once per rev.
A problem arises if the encoder is run at speed, I receive error 200140. But if I run the program at a lower speed I eventually receive error 200278.
I am not sure why this is occuring as I am sampling continuously.

Thanks for your response regarding this issue.
Just to clarify, you are using the PCI 6250 to measure pulses from an encoder which is generating one pulse per revolution and turning at 1000 rpm and you are sampling this at 50kHz.
You are then taking these pulses and using them to trigger an input on the PCI 6220 which then reads the temperature. Does this mean you are taking 1000 temperature reading per minute?
Without seeing how you are implementing this in your code it is very hard for me to tell if the crash is as a result of this. Just to confirm, are you still getting the same error message?
Both the cards you are using don’t have simultaneous sampling; this means that the sampling speed is shared between your tasks.
If you believe the issue is with your code then please do attach this to your next post.

New Media Encoder Error: video and/or audio filters are missing...

My colleague reported this error popup window while using Adobe Media Encoder CC (up-to-date):
"video and/or audio filters are missing and the rendered output may not match the original"
I've been seeing similar errors the past few days. I can't remember if the wording was the same in the errors I saw, but the circumstances were the same.
I've never seen this popup error before the most recent CC update.
Some background info:
I queued up multiple Premiere Pro pproj files as usual from within Premiere
without rebooting or deleting any cache or temp files or anything, I start the queue
I have no special plugins installed in Premiere. Vanilla CC install.
Windows 7, 64-bit
This error doesn't tell me what audio/video filter(s) are missing. The output files, once I dismiss this warning, are perfect.
The major problem: It stops the queue dead in it's tracks. Sure, it might seem handy to stop and give you a warning, but when it's a false report and there's nothing wrong, it's killing us, because we queue up multiple files for encoding overnight, and we're not here to get the popups.
What is likely causing this? Is it a bug that this is appearing so frequently? Has anyone else experienced this besides my colleague and I?

Update for anyone experiencing this issue:
We are still investigating the cause of the issue and would really like your help tracking it down. If you run in to it I would be happy to jump on the phone with you and preferably do a screenshare as well. If you want to run some tests for me, this is what may help us track it down:
0. Please make sure you are updated to the latest version of Premiere Pro and AME, which at this time are Premiere Pro 7.2.1 and AME 7.2.
1. Simplify the project. Create a copy of the project and eliminate anything in the project that isn't related to the sequence(s) you are exporting. Then run the encode again. If it still occurs, move to the next step. If it doesn't occur any more, repeat step one and only remove half of the unused items (sorry, this is giong to be a manual process). Rinse, repeat.
2. Open your sequence in Premiere and press Cmd/Ctrl + A to select all clips in your sequence. Right click and select Remove All Effects. Export again. No repro? Go to step 4. If it still repros, go to step 4.
3. Make all the media offline. Export again. No repro? Go to step 4. Repro? Go to step 5.
4. Send me a message with as much detail as possible. Even better would be if you could provide me a copy of your project file.
Your help in tracking this issue down is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I am getting this error since purchasing my latest book:

This message also appears on some, but not all books I purchased earlier.
I've tried to restart my iPhone (5) and downloaded iBooks (and the books itself) again several times but nothing has changed. I’m also synced the iPhone via iTunes without luck.
It’s the latest version of iBooks from Appstore. The same books on iBooks for iPad and Mac working fine!

I have the same problem. I've tried to restart my Ipad and downloaded the book again several times but nothing has changed. There aren't any reviews on the book with that problem and I've got the latest version of iBook so I don't know what else I can do to get the book which I've paid for. Does anyone have another idea what I could do? (maybe one of the above might help you, Paul)

Gen Digital Pulse Train Finite Retriggerable - Initial Delay is only for first trigger

The DAQmx example Gen Digital Pulse Train Finite Retriggerable has an Initial Delay parameter. It appears (6602 and an E series card) that this Initial Delay only delays the pulse generation for the first trigger. Subsequent triggers show no delay. Is this the designed behavior ? Any way to get the Initial Delay to occur for all triggers ?

So, yes, you are seeing the appropriate behavior. However, it is possible to get a re-triggerable finite pulse train with an initial delay. What you have to do is set up a re-triggerable pulse, and have that pulse act as a pause trigger for a continuous pulse train. Let me explain further with an example.
1) Set up counter 0 as a re-triggerable single pulse (Gen Dig Pulse-Retriggerable.vi). Set the low time = initial delay = X, and high time = Y. The re-triggerable pulse will be low for X, then high for Y after every trigger (it applies the initial delay to the first pulse, and the low time to every pulse after the first). The trigger source is your actual trigger.
2) Set up counter 1 as a pause-triggered continuous pulse train (Gen Dig Pulse Train-Continuous-Pause Trigger.vi). This pulse train will be the frequency of the finite pulse train you want. The pause trigger source will be the output of counter 0.
I have attached the VIs I used to accomplish this. There are three VIs, the two mentioned in 1) and 2) and another VI I used just to monitor the signals. These could be combined to a single VI if you would like. Hope this helps!

Two Edge Seperation / PCI-6238 / Error -200140

Trying to use a PCI-6238 card to measure the time between Digital Inputs rising or falling. From what I was directed, this should be able to be done via the Two Edge Seperation Task... However, when I configure the task it seems that no matter what the Min. and Max Time I set, I get the error:

Two consecutive active edges of the input signal occurred without a counter timebase edge.
Use a faster counter timebase.

Not at hw to test, but here are some brief thoughts anyway:
1. Error message sounds a little odd to me, almost like it's only looking at 1 input signal rather than 2. Could simply be poor choice of error text though...
2. There's a property called "Duplicate Count Prevention" that is frequently relevant to situations where the signals to be timed are faster than the timebase used to time them. If you search the forums for that term, you'll find more detailed info. The summary is that it can either be enabled or disabled and the behavior when the inputs are too fast are either to produce an error like yours or to return a measurement of 0. (I honestly don't know which setting does which -- it's easy enough to experiment and find out though).
3. The timebase can be chosen explicitly, though DAQmx should indeed have picked the appropriate one for your specified Min / Max. You'd probably want a Min of 0 and a Max that's less than about 50 seconds. My guess: DAQmx *did* pick the appropriate timebase, and the error text suggesting you use a faster one is just generic advice that doesn't actually apply to your case.
4. Two Edge Separation requires you to know which signal will come first. If you don't know which one will come first, you may still be able to accomplish your goal by setting up a "change-detection" DI task and then measuring the period of the change detection pulse signal with a counter. I know this would work on the 5V DIO versions of the M-series, but I'm not so familiar with your particular board.

In my books, I get an error message stating: "error on line 1 at column 1: Encoding error"

In the books that I have purchased on iBooks, I now get the following error message instead of the books text:

But there is no text on the page other than the error message. These books have worked for months and the table of contents work, but the substance has been replaced by the above message.
Thoughts? Help?

I set up family sharing wrong, so i left family sharing and joined the right way agin but an error occurred and now it tells me I'll have to wait 364 days to rejoin again! How can I reset my account so I can use it again?

WWhen I set up family sharing i did it with me as family organizer, but as my spouse is the organizer I had to leave the "family" I created and join his. But while setting it up an error occurred, and the screen went blank. Now I tried to join his family sharing again, and my phone keeps telling me I can't because accounts can only join families twice a year.
I Don't really want to wait 364 days from now, is there a way in which I can reset my accoint so I can join family sharing again?
Apple support doesn't have a solution for me yet!

This morning I looked at my family sharing account again an IT WORKS NOW! Think Apple has done a reset to my account, though I'm not exactly sure why! So I hope it works for you guys as well!

My ipod touch is not list as a device on itunes. When I tried do update itunes, I get a ox8007054f error code and the update will not complete.

You have a mixture of things going on... AS3 code in an AS2 setting. Those are all AS2 error messages, and they are indicating you have placed the code on the buttons. To use that code, it must be placed on the timeline, and your Flash Publish Settings need to have AS3 specified instead of AS2. AS3 does not allow code to be placed on objects like AS2 does.

The screen you're seeing on your iPhone indicates it is in recovery mode. Now since the device is not appearing in iTunes on your PC, first follow the steps in this article:

After following those steps, you should be able to restore your iPhone.
