    James,
The reason you are experiencing this problem is due to the JCO API caching the Request and Response XML structures from the BAPI/RFC.  If you restart the servlet-exec service (Restart xMII) then this will clear the cache and the refresh will load the proper version of the BAPI/RFC.
    Hope this helps.

  • Crystal Reports scheduled in CMC Fails -Error: database connector error

    Hi,
I am trying to schedule Crystal Report from the CMC. The report is created on top of InfoCube out of the SAP BI 7.0 server. On scheduling I am getting a particular error as u201CDatabase Connector Erroru201D.
Is there any way to troubleshoot this. Do we need to configure BW Publisher parameters for the new SAP BI7.0 server with BO Enterprise Server which is tried out recently?
All this processes work fine with the BW3.5 server for which I believe the configuration for the connection settings is already done.
    Thanks,
    Amogh

    Hi Ingo,
The Crystal Report is built on top of InfOCube in SAP BI7.0 Server.Glad to tell you that the Reports do not give anymore while
scheduling in CMC. It was an authorization issue with my user id in SAP BI7.0 System which the BASIS has resolved now.
Referring to your question, somebody earlier suggested me that whenever BO Enterprise server needs to communicate with a new SAP BI Server we need to establish the connection through Universe Designer and test the connection and there is no other way create connection through the CMC.
If there is a better way, please suggest.
    Thanks,
    Amogh

  • SCOM 2012 R2 Error The connector the module is configured for no longer exists

    Hi All,
The Microsoft Operations Manager Connector Framework Alert Forwarding module failed to mark an alert for forwarding because the connector the module is configured for no longer exists.
    Connector Id: 57a14deb-a74b-520e-ac32-ba8d340d112d

    Hi Mark,
You can try the following steps,
This is because we have deleted a connector that still had a live subscription associated with it.  We need to go and delete that subscription to clean this up.  The problem is – the connector is gone, so the subscription is no longer available
    in the UI.
Therefore – we will have to delete it manually.  This subscription (as all subscriptions) is kept in the “Notifications Internal Library” MP.  You need to export that MP to XML.  FIRST MAKE A BACKUP COPY OF THIS FILE IN CASE YOU MESS UP, then
open it for editing in Notepad, or your XML editor of choice.
All subscriptions in this MP are kept in the <Monitoring> <Rules> section.  To identify which connector subscription RULE is causing the problem – you can search for the connector ID, from the event 11502 above.  In my example – my connector
ID from this event is:  b7a64deb-f7ff-440e-bc30-d08d340dfe8d.
So – I search the XML for that string – and find b7a64deb-f7ff-440e-bc30-d08d340dfe8d in the <WriteActions> section of a specific <Rule>:
    <WriteActions>
      <WriteAction ID="WA" TypeID="SystemCenter!Microsoft.SystemCenter.ConnectorFrameworkAlertWriteAction">
        <ConnectorId>{b7a64deb-f7ff-440e-bc30-d08d340dfe8d}</ConnectorId>
      </WriteAction>
    </WriteActions>
Good – I have identified the problem.  Now – I need to do two things:
Find the rule ID – to identify the display string associated with it… then delete that display string.
    Delete the orphaned subscription rule.
So – I move up in the XML section of this rule – and I find my Rule ID.  (here is mine:)
    <Rule ID="ProductConnectorSubscription2850f8e3_afe7_4c36_84d2_ee258bd086eb"
I then search for the part above which I bolded in blue (yours will be different – search for your string)
What this finds – is the display string section of the XML – which maps this GUID ID to the common name that you gave the subscription.  (here is mine:)
    <DisplayString ElementID="ProductConnectorSubscription2850f8e3_afe7_4c36_84d2_ee258bd086eb">
      <Name>Process All New Alerts</Name>
    </DisplayString>
So – I need to DELETE this section from the XML…. just the section above, from my very specific <DisplayString ElementID="ProductConnectorSubscription2850f8e3<GUID> line, to the very next </DisplayString>.
Next – I need to delete the entire <rule> which contains the subscription we want to remove.  Mine will be from:
<Rule ID="ProductConnectorSubscription<GUID> line to the very next </Rule>
When you are happy – you can import this XML MP back into the management group.  It should import with no errors.  If you get an error – you made a mistake when editing the XML.  You can look on the RMS event log for the specific problem – there
will be a critical event there if it fails to import.

  • BAPI CommitWork error DCOM Connector

I have a VB program using BAPIs with the DCOM Connector. The BAPI object and session object are exported to an MTS
server machine. In the VB program I create a global oSession object and logon to R/3 at the form load event. In one function I instantiate the BAPI Object locally with Set oBO = oSession.CreateInstance("BOprogId"), and run some methods on the object that work fine and Set oBO = nothing at the end of the function.
In a followup function I instantiate the BO again locally with Set oBO = CreateInstance("BOprogid"), then do a change method on instance dependant object after doing oBO.InitKeys. The BAPI return is succesful, so I want to commit the change and issue an oSession.CommitWork. The DCOM connector monitor shows the last function is ABAP4_COMMIT_WORK but it remains in an active state there and the VB program gets a nonzero return: error> -2147023170, automation error The remote procedure call failed. I don't know why this happens.
If I use oBO.CommitWork I get an error also: -2147467259 Object created in Session, so I assume if you instantiate an object with oSession.CreateInstance you have to commit
    changes using the Session object.
If I use Set oBO = CreateObject("BOprogId") and commit with oBO.Commit, it works without error. This is not practical since I need to enqueue the SAP object in the first function with oBO.Enqueue method before the user makes changes in the UI. When the user requests the update I invoke the change function, then oBO.Dequeue, then oSession.CommitWork.
Can you tell me why the commit fails, or what I may be doing wrong? Incedentanlly, the SAP object is sucessfully
changed. The change BAPI does not have a commit work, so my program must request it.
Please don't suggest using the dotNet Connector, this is not an option for this project.
    Thank you.

    Dear Rhonda,
Which OS installed on your machine ? I fronted the same problem with windows 200 and windows server 2003.
On windows 2000 you have to register: msado15.dll and msado15r.dll.
On windows 2003 server you have to install MDAC 2.8 and the register those two files.
If you still have problem feel free to email me.
    Good luck,

  • ExAclSet.exe shows error - Groupware Connector

    Hi all
The CRM Groupware Connector brings the program ExAclSet.exe for adjusting the Mailbox rights of the Exchange Users.
Unfortunately when I start that program and I click to "get Adressbook" it fails with a WIN32 Exception.
Tried it on several computers..always the same error.
Does anyone have a similar error with that program? It is not critical because I can assign the rights manual but it would be more comfortable with the ExAclSet.exe.
    Thanks and regards

    Hi Amanda,
Given that you say you have sudo permission and that this problem reproduces when you reinstall CF, I suspect that the problem here might regard SELinux.  My first suggestion would be that if you are not on a public facing or production machine, try setting SELinux to warn mode rather than enforcing mode, then try again.
I have many blog entries about installing and running ColdFusion (pre CF10 versions) on Linux, especially some about working with SELinux. See below.  Please take a look and let me know if the problem does not work itself out.
    Thanks!

    Steps to reproduce:
    - Open Crystal Reports 2008 and then connect to salesforce with the credentials provided by the user i.e.
    test.nussbaumer @cit.com.test
    crystal2008
    token:  LxYbugxsVmGpRL1QOVIC2q0e  '
    This gives an error:
'Logon failed. Details: Unexpected Error; nested exception is java.net.UnknownHostException: www.salesforce.com
What has been done so far:
-Have tried the repair on CR 2008 but didn't help.
    - The customer has tried some user credentials for a different user in his SFDC instance and was also able to login.  He realized that only the system administrator is not able to login.  Customer had sent the sample credentials for a test system administrator profile in his sandbox environment.  (test.salesforce.com) , used that on my end to connect however it gave the error :'Logon failed. Details: Unexpected Error; nested exception is java.net.UnknownHostException: www.salesforce.com'
    test.nussbaumer @cit.com.test
    crystal2008
    token:  LxYbugxsVmGpRL1QOVIC2q0e
To access the Sandbox, he uses test.salesforce.com as the server when connecting with Cyrstal Reports 2008.
    - He reset the password and received the same error.  He can access Salesforce.com with CR XI R2, but not with CR2008.
    - He set up a new computer with only JDK 1.4 on it, using Windows XP Professional and received the same error. His comments:
( I don't believe that this has anything to do with the JDK version, but rather with the size of the metadata in SFDC.  If I login as the administrator, I receive the error in CR2008.  However, as mentioned before, if I login as a standard user I am able to use CR2008.)
We tried resetting the User Security token by follwoing the below steps(A security token is not needed for login as I am using a trusted network by SFDC):
Steps for Resetting a User Security Token:
1.) To reset your security token, click Setup | My Personal Information | Reset Security Token, and click the Reset Security Token button. The new security token is sent via email to the email address on your Salesforce user record.
2.) You will need to login by entering your username and then your password + security token (without the +).
    - Modified the CRConfig.XML file for the proxy server settings and then tried connecting to pull up the tables however still gave the same error.
    Configuration:
    Windows XP Professional 5.1.2600 SP2 Build 2600
    CRXIR2 - 11.5.9.1076
    CR2008 - 12.0.0.683
    J2SE Development Kit 1.5.0.60
He is using JDK 1.6 (file: jre1.6.0_05).  He tried installing JDK 1.4 and pointing to the file:  jre1.4.2_17 but had no success.

  • GRC 10.0 Connector error

    Hi experts,
I'am working on a GRC 10.0 (AC) implementation and when creating a conncetor to the SAP ERP, we have no error nor problem.
But, when I try to run the SYNC programs, lets say GRAC_ROLEREP_PROFILE_SYNC, GRAC_PFCG_AUTHORIZATION_SYNC, etc. I get the following error: Processing for connector XXXXXXXX, Correctly define the logical connection in CCITS, Role sync failed with error. And when trying to run it in background a get the job cancelled and with the following error: Connector is not properly configured in common component setting.
Yeah, I know what you are thinking...the problem is the connector!!! That's what I also think. But when I go to the IMG and look at the custominzing, cant find anything that makes me believe that the connector is not properly configured. At least following all the procedures in the configuration guide.
I have upgraded up to Support package 4.
Lets take a look at the customizing:
    In IMG/GRC/Common Component Settings/Integration Framwork/Create connectors
I Have created an RFC ABAP connection (with the same logical name as the ERP), and tested the RFC connection and works fine.
In IMG/GRC/Common Component Settings/Integration Framwork/Maintain connectors and connection types
I have the connection types definitions by default. In Define connectors I have one entry with my target connector (the one created in the last step), connection type=SAP, Source connector=empty, Logical port=empty and max no of bg=3
Could be the source connector and logical port fields?? Cause I dont know what to fill the fields with...
Well hope somebody can give me a hand on this.
    Regards,

    Hi Experts,
    I'm using the SP5.
I'am facing the same issue with the job GRAC_PFCG_AUTHORIZATION_SYNC.
I tried to run it in background and foregroung in several langages but it doesn't solve my issue:
    Unable to locate connector xxxxxxx
PFCG authorization sync failed with errors
My connector's setting seems to be right as I can run a risk analysis and see results.
Other synchronisation jobs (GRAC_REPOSITORY_OBJECT_SYNC for example) works fine.
    Have anyone an idea ?
    Best regards

  • Business connector installation error

    Dear community,
    I am trying to install bc 4.8 x64 on win2008 R2 x64 std ed.server (in vmware).
When I run the installer (BCServer48_x64.exe or BCServerXpt48_x64) I get an error:
    >business connector install could not find a java virtual machine to load
    >you may need to reinstall a supported java virtual machine
As I understand it there is a sap jvm integrated, so separate jre install is not needed.
In any case I have also installed separate java :
    >java -version
    java version "1.6.0_24"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_24-b07)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 19.1-b02, mixed mode)
but this does not change the error.
Win2008 R2 is supported according to pam and note 1094412.
I have tried using compatibility settings for win server 2003 but no change.
    Any advice ?
    Rgds, Eirikur.

It would have been helpful if you shared how to execute this fix.
Here by the way I fixed it:
    First:
Make sure you have a JDK installed!
    I used: JDK 6: sapjvm-6.1.043-ntamd64.zip
You can find it here: https://tools.netweaver.ondemand.com/  Press the Additional software tab.
    Second:
    Go to: http://java.com/en/download/help/path.xml
Here they will explain you how to edit the PATH for different OS. The Windows 7 fix works on Windows Server 2008 R2.
    Third:
    For windows Users:
When you have the Edit PATH screen open add the correct path that leads to your JDK.
For me it was: ";C:\Program Files\Java\sapjvm_6\bin" (Paste without the quotes but add a ; in front of your path)
    Kind regards
    Jérémy

  • Error importing DA from SCOM through connector

    Hi,
After the System Center 2012 R2 upgrade we are seeing event log (operations manager log) errors when the SCOM CI Connector runs.
It states that not everything is synced and it complains about the MP Microsoft.Windows.Peripheral.Networkadapter class, that seems to be included in the SCOM Microsoft.WIndows.Library MP but not in the Microsoft.Windows.Library for SCSM.
Instead it is a separate MP that has not changed version.
I´m investigating if it in fact is not syncing all items, maybe it just warns, but either way this seems strange, and I wonder if anyone else has seen this and if so, what have you done?
ERRORS in operations manager log during SCOM CI Connector sync (there are a lot of these errors for different objets).
    log error:  34096
Skipping import of instances of class Microsoft.Windows.Peripheral.NetworkAdapter. The management pack Microsoft.Windows.Library that defines this class has version 7.5.8501.0 in Operations Manager that is higher than its version 7.5.3079.0 in Service Manager.
The following steps will resume import of instances of this class:
    1) Import management pack Microsoft.Windows.Library with version 7.5.8501.0 into Service Manager.
    2) Edit the connector configuration and ensure that this management pack is selected for synchronization.
    And also
    log error: 34094
Connector Name=Operations Manager CI Connector, Id=rxc51f96-3434-071c-6b93-34ad39962620

    Skipped component: resourcename.domain.net.
Class of skipped component: Health Service.
The component resourcename.domain.net is defined in management pack System Center Core Library. Check for prior errors that indicate if importing a missing management pack can help resolve this issue.
    E.O

We are finding something similar when syncing OpsMgr DA's with Service Manager.
Cannot create part of service map [xxxx-xxxxxxx].
Skipped component: Local Area Connection 3.
Class of skipped component: Computer Network Adapter.
The component Local Area Connection 3 is defined in management pack Windows Core Library. Check for prior errors that indicate if importing a missing management pack can help resolve this issue.
Well, that's not true, I verified the version is 7.5.8501.0 in the ManagementPacks table.
Service Manager 2012 R2 has the Windows Peripheral Library MP that defines a handful of classes derived from classes in the Windows Library MP.
    <ClassType ID="Microsoft.Windows.Peripheral.NetworkAdapter" Accessibility="Public" Abstract="false" Base="Windows!Microsoft.Windows.NetworkAdapter" Hosted="true" Singleton="false" Extension="false">
OpsMgr 2012 R2 does not have this MP, it's not in the Management Packs folder in the bits, and I can't find it in the Service Manager bits. There are no discoveries in it, so this is a fun mystery. Anyone else run into this?
