Error creating a web service client from th WSDL document (soamanager)

Hello everyone,
we have generate with the wizard a web-service using the function module BAPI_CONTROL_RECIPE_GET_LIST. Then we have generated with SOAMANAGER the end point. As test, we have used a web-service explorer of Eclispe and we can retrieve without problems the data.
Then we wanted to generate the web-servcie client with Eclipse Galileo (3.5.0) wiith the server GlassFish v2.1 Java EE 5 we first installed the WSIT jars, in order to support WS-RM protocol
We have started the generation based on the document obtainend within the soamanager under the "Open WSDL document for selected binding" link.
We have tried it several times and we always got the following error is:
IWAB0399E Error in generating Java from WSDL: WSDLException (at /wsdl:definitions/wsdl:portType/wsp:Policy):

Do you know if we took the right document in order to generate the web-service client? Do we need to have some specifics settings in the configurations of th endpoint? (provider security, transport settings, etc...?)
If needed, or if someone would be nice enough to try to generate it on its side, I can post here the whole wsdl document, but due to its length, I first wait your comments.
Thanks a lot in advance for your feed-back
best regards
Pierre-André
addtions:
maybe this should have been better posted within the forum Service-Oriented Architecture than standards?
I forgot to mention the following threads, which seems to me to be somehow in this direction. But I do not get really how I could use them, or how is is releated.

    I have deployed a BPEL process using JDeveloper. This process can be invoked from the BPEL console and completes as expected. I am trying to create a Web Service Proxy using the Microsoft WSDL.exe tool so that the process can be invoked from a Microsoft Word document. This process is based on the AutoLoan example in the Developer's Guide for Microsoft Office Interoperability B25781-01.

  • Error running My Web Service Client From java

    Hi,
    I have developed and successfully compiled my webservice using the fromjava programming model that comes pre-packed with Jwsdp 2.0. I ran the sample/from java sucessfully and it rn okay. I also wrote a small weservice that just concatenated 2 strings and that worked well as also. However when I implemented more complex functionality in my IMPL clas i.e calling other classes in the IMPL's package and other imported packages, I get the error below when I run my client, which was built successfully.
    Exception in thread "main" javax.xml.ws.soap.SOAPFaultException: Unknown fault type:class java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError
    [java] at com.sun.xml.ws.encoding.soap.ClientEncoderDecoder.toMessageInfo(ClientEncoderDecoder.java:82).............
    I built both the server and the client with the ant tool e.g
    <install DIR>\Sun\jwsdp-2.0\apache-ant\bin\ant server
    <install DIR>\Sun\jwsdp-2.0\apache-ant\bin\ant client
    and then ran the client like below...
    <install DIR>\Sun\jwsdp-2.0\apache-ant\bin\ant run
    Please if anyone has encountered this problem or if you know the cause of this problem, please drop a note.
    Thanks
    Dennis

    I narrowed down the problem to the fact that from my webservices impl class, I am trying to call classes and libraries that perform tasks like database calls etc....
    I think that I am not adding these classes or libraries to the jaxws environment as I should. I have ploughed through the documentation, and I noticed the <classpath> tag under <wsimport> which I added to the build.xml file pointing to my specific classes and libraries. Doing this enabled me to build the server sucessfully. However at runtime it throws that NoClassDef exception. Can some one offer some tips on how I can get the my classes to be executed at run time...
    Thanks

  • Problem creating a web service PROXY from a wsdl file/URL

    Hi,
    I am experiencing problems when I want to import a WSDL file for creating a proxy object.

    The error code 7 indicates <b>unknown error</b>
    Any help?.

  • How to create Web Service Client from wsdl with digital signature?

    Please, help me to create Web Service Client from wsdl with digital signature. I know create Web Service client from wsdl file and I know how to add digital signature to XML with jwsdp, but I don't know how to do it together.

  • Problem creating J2ME web service client

    Hi,
    I am using netbeans (5 and 5.5 beta 2). I have created a web service which works fine. I also created a regular web service client as a standalone application which also works fine and connects to my web service with no problem.
    BUT, when I want to create a J2ME web service client (under a J2ME application) I have to locate my WSDL file. but the wizard shows me the error "WSDL file does not contain port information".
    By looking at the WSDL file I can see that port is created - or maybe I'm wrong.
    piece from WSDL file:
    <service name="myServiceName">
    <port name="myServiceSPort" binding="tns:TranslatorWSPortBinding">
    <soap:address location="myURLLocation"/>
    </port>
    </service>
    Please note that I have replaced the actual values in above piece
    I tried to use wsgen manually but it didn't help.
    Can anyone help me in generating the correct WSDL format as J2ME web service client expects?
    Thanks a lot,
    S.

    well stubs are generated separately using WTK 2.5 stub generator but the problem is with the WSDL at this point.

  • What is the steps to create the web service client

    I'm quite new to web service and currently need to work on a web application that will call web service by passing the request data. Then will handle the response data. Following are questions that I would like to get your advice.
    First, should I manually develop a schema? The request data will be passed as some element type (I thought a class should be generated and put in the class path), which will be some class with set/get(). Then I will use the schema to get a jar that contains the class file by using the xmlbean? Any example or suggestion on this?
    Secondly, how does the java code in web application send/get the request/response data to/from the web service. Your example will greatly help.
    I read article about WSDL and Schema and Soap. Get very confused on what really should be to follow step by step. Thanks in advance for your help!

    I propose that you start with some introductory tutorials. At seekda you will find two tutorials for newbies:
    1) [Finding and Testing Web Services|http://seekda.com/blog/write-your-first-web-services-client-%e2%80%93-part-1-finding-and-testing-services/]
    2) [Using Web Services|http://seekda.com/blog/write-your-first-web-services-client-part-2-using-services/]
    The second tutorial actually addresses most of your questions.

    Michal

    Process exited with exit code 0.I have googled to see if i can get any solution , i got the following information:
    Cannot Generate a Stub or Skeleton for a WSDL that Uses Certain Types (3912349)
    JDeveloper 10.1.2 only understands a subset of all of the complexTypes that can be defined in a WSDL document. For example, if the following appear in the "types" section of the WSDL, any use of those types will cause JDeveloper to generate a reference to UnknownType in a stub or skeleton:
    •     Restrictions of simpleTypes
    •     complexTypes which define attributes Does that mean that the jdeveloper will not support complex types?Could anybody tell me how to resolve the above said issue? Is there any patch that i can run to resolve the issue?

    Can i use the client generated using jdeveloper 11g to import into the oracle forms 10g, i.e., form builder 10g. Currently this is the version we have in our office.

  • Error creating a web service standalone proxy

    Hi all,
    I'm new with Sap Netweaver Developer Studio (SNDS), so sorry if the question is too easy.
    I wuold create a stand alone proxy for a web service created by a function module in R3.
    I follow the help of SNDS but the project doesn't compile. The error is
    This compilation unit indirectly references the missing type com.sap.engine.lib.xml.parser.tokenizer.XMLTokenReader (typically some required class file is referencing a type outside the classpath)     ZhrWsStrAnagInd2.java     AnagIndStandAloneProxy/src/com/capitalia/webservice/anagind/types/p1     line 0
    Where I can find this package? or the problem is another?
    thanks for any help,
    enzo

    Hi Enzo,
    Add <Install folder of Netweaver developer Studio>\SAP\JDT\eclipse\plugins\com.sap.tc.ap\comp\SAP_BUILDT\DCs\sap.com\tc\bi\xml\_comp\gen\default\public\def\lib\java\sapxmltoolkit.jar to classpath of your project (hope you know how to do it).
    Best regards, Maksim Rashchynski.

    Cant you paste some of your code, formatted in code tags? It looks like there is a problem passing some of the XMl response, it doesnt like a tag html.
    If you post some code somebody might actually be able to help you.
