Hi,
i'm in process of installing 11.5.10 on RHE, checking for rpms present.
while installing openmotif21-2.1.30-11.RHEL4.2.i386.rpm which is a dependency for compat-oracle-rhel4-1.0-5.i386.rpm i get the following error:
error: Failed dependencies:

what does openmotif < 2.2.2 mean....? plz help
rgds,
KrishnarajLooks like you have openmotif installed and its version is less than 2.2.2.
Could you please verify that by running "rpm -q openmotif". -
Installation turnkey error verifying JBoss during the configuration manager setup
LiveCycle seems to install fine, then immediately after install, the Configuration Manager runs and I get an error "Failed on 'Verifying JBoss for Adobe LiveCycle ES v8.0 service is installed' Windows turnkey service JBoss for Adobe LiveCycle ES v8.0 does not exist".
I received the error in both the "express mode" and "custom mode" within the "turnkey mode" step of the configuration manager.
Has anyone seen this error before or know what causes this? We have tried installing on three different PC computers with the same error. The latest JDK1.6 is installed and environment variables created before install of LiveCycle.
Any ideas? Am I doing something wrong? Th installer seems pretty straight forward. Before re-installing LiveCycle, ensure that:
1) the JBoss and MySQL services are removed
sc delete "JBoss for Adobe LiveCycle ES v8.0"
sc delete "MySQLfor Adobe LiveCycle ES v8.0"
2) Delete the \Gen1 folder from C:\Program Files\Common Files\Install Shield\Universal\Adobe\LC8 -
Error: nQSError:46105 - During JobManager Configuration
Hi All,
I am trying to configure Oracle BI Scheduler to purge cache at particular time. When I tried to configure the "Job Manager" it gave me following error:

When I crosschecked the files and path mention in the error message, I found that "JobManager" does not exist in C:\OracleBIData\ folder.

user473930Please also read the install documentation. This has been noted as a requirement for oracle-xe (you need one more lib ;) ) This also helps you setup your DB, etc, etc.

Just running rpm by itself, you have to pass all the pre-requisite RPMs, so that rpm can install them in a single transaction.
If you have Oracle Linux support, register your server with the Unbreakable Linux Network at http://linux.oracle.com and use either the up2date or yum tools to upgrade.
If you do not have Oracle Linux support, you can use yum with our public yum repositories at http://public-yum.oracle.com. Just follow the instructions to download the appropriate configuration file and enable it for your version of Oracle Linux. -

"failed due to bad configuration"
I have a .air program running on nearly 400 pc's in the field. I have an upgrade I would like to release silently. I can get the new .air file to the machines automatically. I would like to run a batch file that will install it, and hit the "Replace" button when it notices that a older version is already out there.
So, I included the Adobe Air Application Installer.exe in the download, I created a batch file that does this:
"Adobe AIR Application Installer.exe" -silent -eulaAccepted -desktopShortcut "C:\Program Files (x86)\MascoVSC\vscassets\program\VSC.air"
THis runs perfectly when the old version is not on the machine, but if it is, I get the error: "failed due to bad configuration".
Any help would be greatly appriciated.Hi Jeff,
Could you give the ARH tool a try and in the case of an update, do an uninstall first, then install?

I have some basic questions.
Q: What is the best way to deal with this?
I'm a bit short on common sense when it comes to using rpm to install
Linux software. I'm worried that if I try to force something in,
something else, somewhere else will break.
Now I have some more specific questions.
I see this:
+ rpm -Uvh control-center-2.8.0-12.rhel4.2.i386.rpm
warning: control-center-2.8.0-12.rhel4.2.i386.rpm: Header V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID 443e1821

xscreensaver is needed by control-center-2.8.0-12.rhel4.2.i386
I assume the proper way to deal with this is to search around on my DVD for 9
rpms which correspond to the 9 lines above spit out by the error handler.
True??

Hp deskjet ink advantage 5525 - fails to use or configure WiFi port "CN2AK1BC8B05SX"
HI,
my printer can't print the documents I want to make it print.
I'm trying to write down the problem as clear as I can.
First: when I want to print something just nothing happens, although the documents can be seen on the printer's list as awaiting documents.
Second: usually nothing happens, but once a window popped up after a certain time, with the warning about 'cannot comunicate via port CN2AK1BC8B05SX' or something like that. Unfortunately, I couldn't produce this "Error message"
since it first popped up.
Third: I have tried already to configure somehow this port - "it can be chosen from a list of available ports" but each time I ran into a message "an error has occured during the configuration, operation cannot be completed
(error: 0x0000007b)" or likewise.
Fourth: it's funny but "loading information from device" works fine, the Printer Assistant starts and I can use it wihout any problems except that I can't configure that "mysterious" port as you can read above.
Fifth: since the first occurance of the error I' ve several restarts but it couldn' help. The printer asked for an 'IP refresh', but either I made it wrong or it makes no sense in this situation. Certainly I have already tried to solve this 'IP refresh' and also followed the guidance about this topic.
Please tell me how this problem shall be fixed. ThxHi, since then I've refreshed the driver so it's the most up to date now but the problem still hasn't been solved.
Any suggestions? -
Failed to read the configuration file. Fresh install on windows 7

administrator.Check for the presence of a mozilla.cfg file in the Firefox program folder to initialize some prefs.
This also involves the presence of a .js (JScript) file, probably in "defaults\pref" folder, that specifies to process this mozilla.cfg file.
If you have .js files apart from the channel-prefs.js file, that sets app.update.channel, in the defaults\pref folder then open this file in an editor like Notepad and please post its content.
Also please post the content of the mozilla.cfg file.
There shouldn't be a mozilla.fcg file present unless you've created it yourself to initialize some prefs.
If you have this mozilla.cfg file then best is to do a clean reinstall and delete the Firefox program folder before reinstalling a fresh copy of Firefox.

Can any one please help me.
Thank You,

PraveenHello,
Have you tried it to execute on report manager , Is your data source properly configured in Report Manager and your report is mapped with Datset correctly?
Have you executed the Dataset query MDX editor now?
What is the volume of data you are fetching in the report. Try it to execute in other than IE , I don't know the exact reason but some of our report with large volume of data are failing on IE , on the other hand these reports are running fine Google

String jobName)Hi shelman,
I'd like to know whether you configured TFS reporting service properly, and if you can get the report normally before. From the error message, you might has wrong data source or the parameters of the dataset 'dsPriority'. You can check whether the data source
for your report is available, try to use windows authentication. Or check the parameters of dataset 'dsPriority' make sure the query works when you execute it manually.
To process the TFS data warehouse and analysis services cube, I'd like to know which operation you selected before clicking Invoke button. Please follow the instructions on this
page to process TFS data warehouse and analysis service cube manually. You can also refer the James's last reply in this
thread or this
blog to check if the solutions work for you.
Another option is run TFS best practice analyzer to check if there any configure issues on your TFS server machine. And check event logs to see if there any useful information, elaborate more details about your scenario including reproduce steps if the problem
persists.

ORACLEASM_SCANBOOT=true

Checking if ASM is loaded: yes
Checking if /dev/oracleasm is mounted: yes
Current two nodes RAC,ASM work fine.
Can some one give hint what I should check about asm?
Thanksocrcheck
