Error getting whille compileing the Library file
Hi,
I have a problem that when ever i am trying to compile my Library to generate the .PLX file it showing compilation error to me.
Like "FND_ATTACHMENT_UTIL_PKG.get_atchmt_exists" here its stucking.
So kindely help me to understand this point.

Are you trying to configure a local installation of the EBS or is this on a server? For EBS development, you need to have the library files (.pll and .plx) included in your FORMS_PATH variable. These files are typically located in the AU_TOP (\AU\Resources) directory on the Application Server (AS). The only person that should be compiling these library files is your AS Administrator and they should only be compiled on the AS, not your workstation. You should only be using the compiled version supplied by your AS Admin.
If the library file is not compiling correctly, it is because your Forms Builder is unable to find all of the required referenced items in the Library. This would suggest that your Forms Builder is not configured correctly. As I stated above, these library files should only be compiled on the AS, never on a developer workstation.
If you are still having trouble with this issue, I strongly suggest you post your question in the <a href="General EBS Discussion">EBS General Discussion</A> forum. This forum is for general Oracle Forms questions. If you have a general Forms question, by all means, ask it here! ;-)

You need to include the gpib-32.obj in your project settings. The object file is where the API functions are actually implemented.
Go to Project >> Settings. Then select the Link tab to include the name of the object file on the "Object/library module" field. You might have to add the object file path on the "Additional Library path" field in the same Link tab under the Input category. Refer to the Visual C++ environment documentation.

I'm unable to play approx. half the songs in my library. I get an error message saying that the original file could not be located. I am asked if I want to locate the file, I click locate and get a screen with a list of confusing looking files and nothing seems to solve the problem. As is probably apparent by now I am not particularly computer literate. I don't understand why this problem occurs on only half my library.
This "original file cannot be found" thing happens if the file is no longer where iTunes expects to find it. Possible causes are that you or some third party tool has moved, renamed or deleted the file, or that the drive it lives on has had a change of drive letter. It is also possible that iTunes has changed from expecting the files to be in the pre-iTunes 9 layout to post-iTunes 9 layout,or vice-versa, and so is looking in slightly the wrong place.
Select a track with an exclamation mark, use Ctrl-I to get info, then cancel when asked to try to locate the track. Look on the summary tab for the location that iTunes thinks the file should be. Now take a look around your hard drive(s). Hopefully you can locate the track in question. If a section of your library has simply been moved, or a drive letter has changed, it should be possible to reverse the actions.
Alternatively, as long as you can find a location holding the missing files, then you should be able to use my FindTracks script to reconnect them to iTunes .

I assumed this would help my problem with not being able to open apps like Preview or TextEdit since I installed Mountain Lion. Instead, first I'm prompted to enter a password, then once I do that, I get an error box telling me the Library needs repairing. So I click on Repair, and once again I'm prompted for a password, which I enter, then the same error box opens, and so it goes. Can anyone help me with this problem? I'd greatly appreciate it.

This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership and access-control lists to the default. If you've set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. Do so only after verifying that those settings didn't cause the problem. If none of this is meaningful to you, you don't need to worry about it.
Step 1
If you have more than one user account, and the one in question is not an administrator account, then temporarily promote it to administrator status in the Users & Groups preference pane. To do that, unlock the preference pane using the credentials of an administrator, check the box marked Allow user to administer this computer, then reboot. The command will take a noticeable amount of time to run. Wait for a new line ending in a dollar sign (“$”) to appear, then quit Terminal.
Step 2 (optional)
Step 1 should give you usable permissions in your home folder. This step will restore special attributes set by OS X on some user folders to protect them from unintended deletion or renaming. You can skip this step if you don't consider that protection to be necessary, and if everything is working as expected after step 1.
Boot into Recovery by holding down the key combination command-R at startup. Release the keys when you see a gray screen with a spinning dial.
When the OS X Utilities screen appears, select
Utilities ▹ Terminal
from the menu bar. A Terminal window will open.
In the Terminal window, type this:

Press the tab key. The partial command you typed will automatically be completed to this:

Press return. A Reset Password window will open. You’re not going to reset a password.

Error IFS 20010 while compiling the java files

The error "IFS 20010 - Failed to get PropertyResorceBundler".....
This error is generating while compiling the java files which will connect to the iFS with the username, password and the servicename. this error points to the servicename not found.

Error when compiling the Java file
Hi I have created a jsp program that uses the java files. i have jboss installed. when i compile the java file it gives compilation error saying that javax.servlet.jsp.tagext.TagSupport not found.
Although when i installed the Tomcat seperately i did not get any compilation error. can anyone tell me how to get out of this problem when Tomcat is not installed seperately.

I think these errors are due to incorrect classpath settings.While compiling HelloHome ..Helloremote must be in classpath.Also if u have packaged them u must be in the package root during compilation ie if uor remote & home interface is in a package called "ejbserver"
then while compiling u must be in the folder above ejbserver & compile command is
javac .\ejbserver\*.java
If uor home & remote interface is in different folder check wheather u have imported the remote interface inside home interface file. -

how do I find the file and replace it or install it?I'll reload it tonight when I get home...basically, I bought a new iPhone and downloaded some new medical apps. also had to download an update for iTunes into my mac laptop so I could access iCloud (which was NOT on my prior iTunes software)
When I synched my new iPhone with the newly downloaded iTunes, I registered my iphone and tried to "back it up" to iCloud and the message indicating that "the required file was not found or has a permissions error...." popped up.
How do I correct the permissions error, or...am I able to do this somewhere? Or...how do I find the file that is missing?

I have a couple of library files, one contains graphics, the
other audio. I am using a dive routine to run through the icons in
the a7p file and if it is a sound icon that is "linked", I want to
make sure that it is linked to the audio library file.
What I am having a problem with is obtaining the linked
filename.
Is there an icon property that contains the linked info? I
believe that there is, as when I right click on a sound icon which
is linked to a library file, I noticed that I could select Library
Links... from the pop up menu, and I found the following data:
Library Link Name:1.3.1s
Linked To:1.3.1s
In Library:lessonAudio.a7l <<<----This is what I am
interested in getting (if it is lessonGraphics.a7l then I want to
warn the developer)
A little test that I did with one audio icon in the flow line
just prior to the calc contents below:

MikeYou can figure this out mathematically. ((Library number + 1)
* 65536) + 7
will be the first icon number in the library. You can also
use
GetLibraryInfo which gives you information on the libraries
including the
root icon of each. So your icon 262168 will be in the 3rd
library returned
from GetLibraryInfo()

I have all my media on an external drive for space. Is there a way I move the library file back to my internal had drive so that Timemachine will keepa backup of the file. Recently my library file became damaged and I lost all my playlists and playcounts and all that good stuff. Thanks for your help.
I never lost any media mind you just the library file that tell iTunes where everything lives.
On this point, you can keep a copy of of the "Itunes Music Library.xml" file, which contains the itunes metadata for your music library (songs & playlists).
Obviously, you would still need the files themselves for this to be of any worth, but if you ever find yourself in the same situation you can use the .xml file to recreate iTunes as it was. Keep in mind that you must import the .xml file into iTunes for this to work, you cannot simply move it via the finder. -
7303030 patch - an error occured while generating forms library files

While applying 12.1.1 upgrade patch, 7303030 i got an error at A1000 phase
"An error occured while generating forms library files" continue as if it were successful..
As we can generate forms after completion of the patch, i selected yes .
Later, i got "An error occured while generating oracle forms files", here also i selected to continue.
Please tell me is this the right way to continue the patch?
I didn't find any errors in worker logs files, after all workers have quit, this error was reported.
After completion of the patch what necessary steps i need to perform.

Excel extractor produces error "Error 8 when compiling the upload program"
I am trying to test a new Excel extractor I've created but when I do so I get the following error:

I've tried reactivating transfer structures and transfer rules but with no success. When I activate the transfer structures I can see in the status bar briefly a message refering "Activating Structure /BIC/B0000788000". I am assuming it's the technical name of the structure which supports the extraction.
Any ideas?
Thanks for the help.OK, I can see your point. The Communication structure fields have data types, CHAR, CURR and DATS (those are the data types for the info-objects I am trying to load).
But if I try to assign the same data types to the objects of the transfer structure which match the flat file I get errors like "Invalid data type (DATS) for source systems of type Ext. System.". What I understand this means is that I cannot use data types other than CHAR in the flat file structure so how can I assign data from a CHAR flat file to a DATS destination object? Do I need some kind of conversion? How? Do I really need a routine in the transfer rules? -

When i ran the xjc , it generated 3 .java files
AddCtq.java , Ctq.java and VariableData.java
But i am unable to compile any of the above files...
The Error i am getting is

SateeshI suspect you are trying to compile the files one by one. You may also be trying to compile them disregarding the package structure.
From your post, I gather these files are in the package: com.geindustrial.sqms
Therefore, if they are not so already, put them under a directory structure:
com/geindustrial/sqms
and then compile with:
javac com/geindustrial/sqms/AddCtq.java com/geindustrial/sqms/Ctq.java com/geindustrial/sqms/VariableData.java
(The above is all on one line.)
