MFC compile error LNK2001 when compiler the MFC_example file
When I compiler the MFC_example(GPIB example) file in vc++ 6.0 .Found some error :

You need to include the gpib-32.obj in your project settings. The object file is where the API functions are actually implemented.
Go to Project >> Settings. Then select the Link tab to include the name of the object file on the "Object/library module" field. You might have to add the object file path on the "Additional Library path" field in the same Link tab under the Input category. Refer to the Visual C++ environment documentation.

Excel extractor produces error "Error 8 when compiling the upload program"
I am trying to test a new Excel extractor I've created but when I do so I get the following error:

I've tried reactivating transfer structures and transfer rules but with no success. When I activate the transfer structures I can see in the status bar briefly a message refering "Activating Structure /BIC/B0000788000". I am assuming it's the technical name of the structure which supports the extraction.
Any ideas?
Thanks for the help.OK, I can see your point. The Communication structure fields have data types, CHAR, CURR and DATS (those are the data types for the info-objects I am trying to load).
But if I try to assign the same data types to the objects of the transfer structure which match the flat file I get errors like "Invalid data type (DATS) for source systems of type Ext. System.". What I understand this means is that I cannot use data types other than CHAR in the flat file structure so how can I assign data from a CHAR flat file to a DATS destination object? Do I need some kind of conversion? How? Do I really need a routine in the transfer rules? -

The last words should be read as "was found in a newer version".
The system says that the active version of your Infosource is older then another version.
I'd recommend to delete Infosource - Source system assignment (with PSA tables etc.).
Then save (activate) the Infosource (communication structure). Then assign source system, create infopackage and load data again.

Goto se38 and Run the program RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL and relogin..

Error message when compiling book "file is corrupt" referring to a photo. Or "cannot find original photo". Can you use photos that have been "edited" out of "Book Mode"?
I did copy it to my desktop, but it still won't let me open it. I think the file on the disc might be corrupt or something like that though the cd itself checks out fine as far as viruses go. I was able to verify the disc, but that's about it. My husband tried it on his iMac and we have the same issue. It's unzipping the folder, but won't let us open the folder on both the Mac Book Pro or the iMac by double clicking, going to file/open or right clicking. It just keeps saying the same message as I posted above. I think I'm just going to have the client put the pictures on either a memory card or a USB memory stick so she won't have to compress the files for zipping purposes. It's been too frustrating trying to open this folder on this cd she gave me. She said she created/zipped the cd on her Mac Book Pro but it sure won't open on mine.

I got this error when I tried to drop a TestStand Engine class onto my main form in VisualStudio.NET.
Compiler errors occurred when generating a Windows Forms wrapper for ActiveX control 'AxNationalInstruments.TestStand.Interop.API'
The error message went on to say that it saved the source in ./obj/AxInterop.TS.cs so I added that to the project. When I try to build it, I get this error:
The designer must create an instance of type 'System.Windows.Forms.AxHost' but it cannot because the type is declared as abstract.
I am using TestStand 3.0 evaluation, Version 7.1.3088 of Microsoft Development Environment 2003, and .NET Framework 1.1 Version 1.1.4322 SP1.
Is this aximp.exe problem?

JeffTestStand installs pre-built interop wrappers for the TestStand engine and all the TestStand UserInterface controls. You can find them in \API\DotNet\Assemblies\CurrentVersion\.
However, the best thing to do is usually to add the ApplicationMgr control to your .NET form and then call form.axApplicationMgr1.GetEngine() to get the engine. Doing this automatically adds references to the interop assemblies to your project. You can find this control in the TestStand tab of your .NET toolbox when you have a form active.
Ideally, you should start with the .NET simple operator interface examples which are in \OperatorInterfaces\NI\Simple\CSharp\ and \OperatorInterfaces\NI\Simple\VB.Net\

Hi, I am having a little trouble with exporting images to another drive and Catalogue and need some help if anyone can give me some advice
I am currently using Lightroom 5.6 and operating on a Mac with OSX Ver 10.9.5.
I am receiving an error problem when doing the following -
I am exporting selected photos from a particular Catalogue saved on Drive 1 to a folder created on another Drive where a Lightroom Catalogue has been created. In this Catalogue I have arranged for the images once exported to be moved to a different folder - I used the Auto Import process under the File dialogue box.
When processing the Export I receive an error message for each of the images being exported indicating the following -
Heading Import Results
Some import operations were not performed
Could not move a file to requested location. (1)
then a description of the image with file name
Box Save As Box OK
If I click the OK button to each image I can then go to the other Catalogue and all images are then transferred to the file as required.
To click the OK button each time is time consuming, possibly I have missed an action or maybe you can advise an alternative method to save the time in actioning this process.

Have you seen any error in your SM21 system log and developer trace of spool work process
during that time?
The maximum size when create spool is 2GB.Pls also check if you are creating a spool
larger than it.

I have a Targus cover with magnetic on/off but won't work with iPad 3. It will work with iPad 2. Noticed iPad 3 doesn't have magnetic switch option in setting like iPad 2. What am I missing here?
