Error importing XI directory objects into consolidation

Hi,
I have defined a track for XI directory transports in the CMS and have successfully exported directory objects from Integration Builder. However, when I try to import it in the consolidation tab of the transport studio, I get the following error

Hi Bhaskar -
You mentioned you're using single/central SLD.  In your SLD, in Technical Landscape and then Technical System Type->Exchange Infrastructure, do you have corresponding entries for your DEV XI and QA XI?  At a base count, there should be 12 total.
If not, for both the DEV and QA XI, do you have Technical System type - Web AS Java?

    Reading another post... here's what I had to do. Log into creative Cloud. >> Re-Download Edge >> It installs over the top of the existing Edge Animate install >> Then close everything >> go back into Creative Cloud >> Now it shows that Dreamweaver has an update. >> So I download the latest Dreamweaver>> Bam!
    My guess is there is no reason to have the DW 12.2 if the system doesn't think you have the latest Edge Animate.
    Silly.

  • Import of SAP Objects into Integration Repository in XI 3.0

    Hi all,
    I am not able to import SAP objects into the Integration Repository in XI 3.0. This option is under any Software Component  Version. I have selected the radio button "Import of RFC and IDoc interfaces from SAP systems permitted", in the Software  Component Version settings. After the connection data is specified for the SAP system nothing appears under the IDoc, Whereas  the import of RFCs is successfull.
    We also have another installation of SAP XI 3.0, here this option is working properly. Can anyone tell me what is the  problem, is is there something else to be configured inorder to do this.
    Best regards,
    Norway

    Hi Stephan
    Thank you for your answer. We have followed your instructions but did only get half a success. Here is what we have done:
    1) Created "External Definitions" for all related xsd-files with the same name as the xsd-filename and in our own namespace. Our namespace is different from those specified in the xsd-files. We have not change the namespaces in the xsd-files.
    2) Maintained the "source"-field with the name for the xsd-file and not the url as specified in our answer. When we used the filename only we got a value the field "name" in the "External References".
    3) We made a message mapping and imported the "top-level-xsd-element" from the "External Definition". This resulted in only the top level element and nothing else. What we expected was the possibility to drill down through the complete structure.
    What did we doe wrong? Perhaps I could talk you into spending 10 min. and try it your self? This url leads to a zip file with all the related xsd files: http://rep.oio.dk/ubl/xml/schemas/0p71/documentation/resources.html
    Do you know if it will be possible to make references across namespaces in a later version of XI?

  • Can I import Powerpoint text objects into CP as seperate layers?

    I have a Powerpoint presentation I would like to convert to a CP7 project. I imported the Powerpoint and checked the 'sync' checkbox. In CP I added voice over to each slide. Now I want to time the fade-in of each of my bullets to the audio track. However, the individual text layers that exist in Powerpoint are not brought into CP as seperate layers. This makes it extremly difficult to time the bullets to the audio track because the audio is in CP and I have to implement the timing in Powerpoint. Is there any way to import the Powerpoint text objects into CP as individual layers?

    Not possible, each ppt slide will be turned in sort of a movie slide that
    keeps timing and animations. Maybe you need a ppt plugin instead of a full
    authoring tool?

  • Error importing integration directory scenarios

    I am trying to move scenarios from one instance of XI to another.  The instances are running on the same OS (AIX v5.2) and database (UDB v8.1).  i am running version 3.0 of XI.  The first instance (A_IX) is at SP11 and the second instance (B_IX) is at SP12.  I am running java v1.4.2.06 on my clients.
    I can successfully export the scenario frin A_XI, move the file to the import directory of B_XI, and start the import from the tools>import config...  The exposted file apprears in the dialog screen, I can select the file and start the import process which eventaully fails with a null pointer error.

    If I export a scenario from B_XI and try to reimport it into B_XI, it fails with the same error.  If I export a scenario from B_XI, I can successfully import it into A_XI.
    Any idea on how to correct the problem?
    Charlie

    Hi Charlie,
    have you configure Groups and Transport Targets correctly?
    is this your first transport?
    have a look at:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/ef/a21e3e0987760be10000000a114084/content.htm
    just to check if all of the business systems that you use in your scenarios have defined transport targets
    2. you can also have a look at SAP note: 749350
    this note applies to sp03  but... as a solution there's a workaround give at the end of the note...
    if you won't get any more answers to your post you may want to try it
    but obviously I suggest writing an OSS message first

  • Post-processing pipeline causes error when placing "SceneGrid" object into 3D scene

    Hi,
    first want to thank you guys for the great work with proscenium and the awesome features.
    I was going through the examples and found a bug. I tried a combination of the examples "TestLines" and "TestPPEncodeDecodeHDR".
    The post processing pipeline somehow manipulates the render sates/vertex program in a way it crashes as soon as it should perform the drawTriangles call for a "SceneGrid" object.
    It does not seem to be related to my particular post processing setup - I tried TestPPBloom and TestPPEncodeDecodeHDR from the examples. The post processing pipeline seems to work fine with a 3DS model (Teapot) .
      //add grid
      scene.addChild(new SceneGrid());
      //setup post-processing
      if(true) {
    instance.createPostProcessingColorBuffer();
    instance.colorBuffer.targetSettings.useHDRMapping = true;
    instance.colorBuffer.targetSettings.kHDRMapping = 4;
    var colorToPrimary:RenderGraphNode = new RenderGraphNodePPElement(instance.colorBuffer, null, RenderGraphNodePPElement.HDR_DECODE, "Decode HDR" );
    colorToPrimary.addStaticPrerequisite(instance.colorBuffer.renderGraphNode);
    instance.renderGraphRoot.clearAllPrerequisite( );
    instance.renderGraphRoot.addStaticPrerequisite(colorToPrimary);
    This gives me the following error:

    Hi John,
    Pls check in SXI_CACHE to verify that the BPM(active in Integration Repository) has the latest version active on the ABAP stack.(I am saying this because you mentioned that a mapping step was missing..is it not..)
    go to SXI_CACHE --> Integration Processes(double click), in the list that you get verify that the return code is 0.

  • Error Importing Premiere Elements project into Premiere Pro CS5

    Hi,
    I am working on a multi-part video project that I started in Premiere Elements 8.  I put in hours upon hours of editing on the first part and I found that the more I edited, the more often the program would crash (infuriating!).  So I started using Premiere Pro CS5 to produce the second part, resolving to come back to the first part later.  Well, I've come back around to needing this first part done, and it is just undoable in Elements (crashes every 20 seconds!).  I'd like to import that project into CS5 if possible.  The help documentation says this should be perfectly possible... but I'm having no luck.
    When I attempt to open my Premiere Elements project in Premiere Pro, it tells me the project must be converted from Elements .prel to Pro .prproj, and I click through the prompts as normal.  But then as soon as it starts trying to open the project, I get this:
    "The Project could not be loaded. It may be damaged or contain outdated elements."
    I downloaded the Premiere Elements 9 trial to see if it would be less crashy (and it is), but I'd really prefer to have all my video in one program, and CS5 does the best job (and has most of my hours invested).  Elements 9 opens the "damaged" project just fine and I can edit and export normally, so why can't CS5?
    Am I stuck recreating the project from the ground up in CS5?

    In very general terms, a contemporary PrE Project (PREL), will Open in PrPro, with the steps that you outlined.
    Now, there are all sorts of considerations, for aspects that will not likely work:
    Instant Movie/Themes, as PrPro cannot read those
    Some Effects that PrPro does not have, like the NewBlue FX
    Some Transitions that PrPro does not have
    Some Title animation Presets, that PrPro does not have
    Do you have any of the above in your PrE Project? There are probably other circumstances, but those are all that come immediately to my mind.
    The simpler the PrE Project, the greater the likelyhood that it will Convert to a PrPro PRPROJ file.
    PrE 8 and PrPro CS5 should be close enough to work, again in those general terms. I can Open simple PrE 4.0 Projects in PrPro 2.0, but cannot Open PrE 7, 8 or 9 Projects in PrPro 2.0.
    Good luck,
    Hunt

    Hi,
    don't mentioning why are You importing SYSTEM objects, the error that You have, just looking the message, is due to an export done without the clause CONSISTENT=Y (so all relations parent/child preserved) having the replication (the table in error is one of the replication dictionary table) active (not quisced)
    Repeat the export operation using CONSISTENT=Y an stop replication activity.
    Hope this helps

  • Importing login server objects

    1. Can we import login server objects into a login server instance that performs
    authentication against a LDAP repository ? If so how ? Doesn't the
    ssoimp.csh script import objects only into the login server schema ? We are using 3.0.6.6.5 version of the portal.
    2. How do we export partner application and external application
    configuration information since this is not a part of the export of the
    login server schema ?

    Could not post response in the Oracle9i AS Portal Security and Login Server form.
    Login Server export-import will only migrate the user information found in sso repository. LDAP repository will need to be migrated before the user can authenticate. Also note that during export only the user information is extracted - the fact that these users are authenticated against LDAP is not in the extracted information. During import, the login server import will import the users and create the default passwords for them. However, the configuration of the login server on the target side will decide if these local authenication is used or LDAP is used - if the target is also configured to use LDAP there should be no problem. Also application information is not migrated.
    Short answer:
    1. Yes. You need to migrate ldap information manually (or perhaps the two share the same ldap server?) then do login server export-import.
    2. partner application and external applications are not currenly supported in export-impor - they have to be recreated manually (and reassociated appropriately).

  • Error importing/activating objects into Directory

    Hi all,
    I am trying to import Configuration tpz files from one XI server to another. I have defined Transport Targets for all the Business Systems in the SLD also.
    All these inactivated objects are grouped under a single change list called "XI 3.0 Import".
    But while truing to activate this chage list, it gives error "Unable to move object. Change lists were not part of the same import".
    Any ideas?
    Regards,
    Jose.

    Jose,
    What is your transport process.
    In our project we follwo the follwoing steps:
    1. Export the design/configuration objects from IR/ID and create a .tpz file.
    2. Then using TELNET ,we phsically transport (get) those files into PRD under folder: /sapmnt/XIP/global/xi/repository_server/import
    from dev/QA folder:
    cd /sapmnt/XID/global/xi/repository_server/export

    Hi Rajeev,
    Thanks for your inputs. I myself am a basis guy. I ve already checked all the authorizations given to the user - PISUPER, and have found it to be fine. Can't understand why this security issue crops up still. anyways, i m getting this error when trying to import an object from the server. If i try to create a new object and during the process, try to import the SCV from SLD, i m facing with an error again, of a different sort. The log says...

  • Error during Directory Objects Import

    Hello,
    I am facing an error while importing Directory objects as
    Import Failed due to Business system Transfer of Objects.
    Obligatory Transport Target Business system not found in Systtem Landscape
    Directory. Please advise what could be the issue.
    Mohit

    Mohit,
    In order to transport objects in the Directory, the SLD has to contain information on transport targets. This information is needed to replace systems in your transport source with their equivalent in the transport target environment. For instance, if your transport comes from development and contains a receveir determination for an IDoc coming from your ERP system called 'DEV', XI will try to replace the system 'DEV' with the equivalent in your acceptance environment ('ACC'). This informantion needs to be entered in the SLD. See [Configuring Groups and Transport Targets|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/ef/a21e3e0987760be10000000a114084/frameset.htm] for more information.
    Kind regards,
    Koen

  • Cannot import Directory object :(

    Hi mates, I'm beginner in Directory Server v5.2 and LDAP at all, so maybe my error is silly or I have made dumb mistake but if you have any idea why the following error appears, I'll be grateful:
    Error adding object 'dn: cn=oll11130,ou=USERS,o=corp'.
    The error sent by the server was 'No such object'.  The
    object is: LDAPEntry: cn=oll11130,ou=USERS,o=corp;
    LDAPAttributeSet: LDAPAttribute {type='roomnumber',
    values='424'} LDAPAttribute {type='givenname',
    values='Olivier'} LDAPAttribute {type='photo',
