Error in connecting servant to ORB: ClassCast exception

Hello,
I'm working on a software using CORBA. (i'm not sure to be on the good forum for this kind of problems)
Here is stacktrace:

This happens for one user on any computer he uses.
I can't give you more code as it is part of something really big and i didn't manage to reproduce it.
Does someone as an idea of what can be the real cause ?
Thx

Thanx:)
Uuhmm I have added the line you suggested,

    I have started getting the following message for some reason. No one has been able to answer it on the user forums. Can you help please? "Sync encountered an error while connecting: Server incorrectly configured. Please try again"

    same thing, started today. i have pasted my sync-log here. my username has been changed from my real username to "username". i noticed the URL in the log. nslookup returns Non-authoritative answer:
    Name: sync-rr.phx.services.mozilla.com
    Addresses: 63.245.217.208
    63.245.217.207
    Aliases: phx-sync038.services.mozilla.com and i am able to surf to the page. it asks me for a username and password, in which i put my sync username & password. it seems to take the login/pass just fine but no page is served - it just sits on loading forever.

  • I keep getting the following error message: Sync encountered an error whole connecting: Server incorectly configured. Please try again. What does this mean?

    I keep getting the following error message:
    Sync encountered an error while connecting: Server incorectly configures. Please try again.
    What is this?

    Hi!
    The sync infrastructure is having some issues and we are working to fix them as soon as possible.
    Check this site for the latest updates: https://services.mozilla.com/status

  • Sync encountered an error while connecting: Server incorrectly configured. Please try again.

    I have tried to do a clean install but it fails to resolve the above output message. Therefore I am now attaching my debug information to this forum hoping someone can help me in finding a solution to my problem. This error message will keep popping up for a good 10 minutes before it disappears. Is there anything wrong with the connection to the server? Thanks in advance.

    Getting this as of today 8/26/11

  • Error message connection server ::invoke::failed to find service connection url.  I have read posts that say turning genius on and off will fix.  no luck.

    Something has gone haywire with apple tv.  It still streams music via airplay from ipad or PC, but I cant get a menu of any functions.  Instead I get error message noted above.  I have tried rebooting, turning genius on and off in itunes, signing in and out of itunes and app store, all as suggested by others with this problem, but nothing works.  This started a week or two ago.  Please advise if there is a fix.  This is either ATV 2 or 3.

    Hi,
    I doubt " tkcrrsarc: (WARN) Failed to find ARCH for message (message:0x1)" message would be creating connection problem. These messages can be ignored and it does not create any problem in normal functioning of database.
    You should be looking at something else for connection problem. Might be you may have to take help of cluster admin.
    Regards
    Anurag

  • Error connecting to IONA ORB within an EJB

    Hi,
    I am trying to connect to a remote CORBA server(C++) through my ejb running on PE8.2, but when I init the IONA ORB in the ejb, I get the follwing exception:
    Caused by: org.omg.CORBA.INITIALIZE: Exception reading properties, probably this is an applet but no applet parameter supplied to ORB.init vmcid: 0x0 minor code: 0 completed: No

    Here is the ORB invocation from my ejb:
    public void initOrb(String p_hostName, String p_serverName) {
    String[] args = {p_hostName, p_serverName};
    Properties p = new Properties();
              p.setProperty("org.omg.CORBA.ORBClass","IE.Iona.OrbixWeb.CORBA.ORB");
              p.setProperty("org.omg.CORBA.ORBSingletonClass", "IE.Iona.OrbixWeb.CORBA.singletonORB");
              // Initialize the ORB
              ORB orb = (ORB)ORB.init(args,p);
         }All the required libs are included in the appserver lib.
    I have tried this with JBOSS and it works fine.
    Do I need to replace the SunAS ORB libraries with the IONA ORB that I need to use?
    Has anyone seen this before?

    Hi, Rick
    Thanks for your help.
    I deleted de application-client.xml file, added the following lines to the web.xml file:
         <ejb-ref>
              <ejb-ref-name>ejb/SessionEJB</ejb-ref-name>
              <ejb-ref-type>Session</ejb-ref-type>
              <remote>ar.com.eds.ejb3.model.SessionEJB</remote>
         </ejb-ref>
    and now I´m using oracle.j2ee.rmi.RMIInitialContextFactory
    there is no error, and it doesn´t throw any exception but the following line returns null.
    SessionEJB sessionEJB = (SessionEJB)context.lookup("java:comp/env/ejb/SessionEJB");
    Its seems the lookup method finds the remote ejb because it doesn´t fail, but it returns null.
    Any idea what is wrong?
    Mauricio.

  • Beta version of Weblogic 6.0 and classcast exception error.

    As an FYI to those who have be receiving the "dreaded" classcast
              exception error, the new version of Weblogic seems to fix the problem.
              It took me awhile to figure out how th deploy the web application, but
              once I did the application seemed to work w/o a problem (and w/o the
              error).

    We do not offer a JDBC driver for Linux in version 5.1. In version 6.0,we
    do offer a type 4 driver for Linux.
    In version 5.1, I suggest trying the platform independent type 4 JDBC driver
    available for free from Oracle. It is supported (as is any JDBC driver)
    with WebLogic Server. To download it:
    Go to http://www.oracle.com and select the "Download" option.
    From the resulting page, use the "Select Utility or Driver" dropdown to
    select Oracle JDBC drivers
    From the resulting page, scroll down a little (since SQLJ stuff appears at
    the top).
    Or, to go directly there:
    http://technet.oracle.com/software/tech/java/sqlj_jdbc/software_index.htm

  • Connection pool error in content server

    getting below error. resumed the suspended pool and tried restarting the content server... but, unable to get login page itself.
    Unable to load the user information. There are no connections available from pool for provider 'SystemDatabase'. Unable to execute service method 'getConnection'. weblogic.jdbc.extensions.PoolDisabledSQLException: weblogic.common.resourcepool.ResourceDisabledException: Pool CSDS is Suspended, cannot allocate resources to applications...
    verified data source connection via weblogic (using option "Test DataSource"). it's throwing below error
    Connection test failed with the following exception: weblogic.common.resourcepool.ResourceDeadException: 0:weblogic.common.ResourceException: Could not create pool connection. The DBMS driver exception was: IO Error: Unknown host specified
    NOTE: There are no changes done on data source settings

    There was a similar question: Unable to load the user info or execute service method 'getConnection'
    There is nothing to add to William's answer:
    This is a WebLogic issue. You need to determine why the datasource was suspended. Restarting the WLS admin server and the UCM managed server should restart the suspended pool, but I'd expect the underlying issue to remain.

  • Installation of Cumulative Update 2 for SCCM 2012 R2 causes Application Catalog error Cannot connect to the application server"

    I have update my primary server with cu2.  Rebooted it when requested.  Now everything appears to work except Application Catalog.  I am getting HttpSendRequestSync failed errors in sms_awebsvc_control_manager and SMS_MP_CONTROL_MANAGER.  Permissions
    for the temp folder and the 2 service folders do have local service and system with full control.  I reregistered .net 4 with aspnet_regiis -i -enable.  Rebooted and no change.  application pool is running.  The install logs said it is
    working.  SQL is happy.  I have reinstalled the two Application Catalog service points varous ways and they always come back with warm fuzzy logs stated they installed.
