Error in doing container managed sign on with Resource Adaptor

Hi,
I have developed a Resource Adaptor. I have written a jsp file using which I want to do container managed sign on. I have followed all the steps given on bea site.
http://e-docs.bea.com/wls/docs81/secmanage/credential_maps.html#1100282
I have created a user in default security realm. After that I deployed my Resource Adaptor file. I defined the credential mapping for this RA with user name defined in realm & EIS user name & password. I have not defined any security role & policy for this RA.
When I deploy my web application which consist of single jsp & web.xml , I get the following error.
<Sep 10, 02004 12:43.29.890 PM> : ExecuteThread: '13' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default' : FN_IS_SpiManagedConnectionFactory: createManagedConnection: Entered into the method.

<Sep 10, 02004 12:43.29.921 PM> : ExecuteThread: '13' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default' : javax.resource.ResourceException: : Invalid arguments passed .
This simply means that my Subject & ConnectionRequestInfo are null in createManagedConnectionFactory.
When i define a security role & policy for my RA, I get the following error.
<Sep 10, 2004 4:58:29 PM GMT+05:30> <Warning> <Connector> <BEA-190064> <Access has been denied to ISRA_ISCF - Application: while reserving a connection.>

               catch(Exception re)
                    System.out.println("Exception ecnountered");
                    re.printStackTrace();
               System.out.println("connection created");
               FN_IS_CciInteractionSpec interactionSpec = new FN_IS_CciInteractionSpec();
               interactionSpec.setFunctionName("GetWorkspaces");
               RecordFactory recordFactory = connectionFactory.getRecordFactory();
               MappedRecord mappedRecord = recordFactory.createMappedRecord("blank");
               Interaction interaction = connection.createInteraction();
               //Execute the interaction
               IndexedRecord indexedRecord = (IndexedRecord)interaction.execute(interactionSpec, mappedRecord);
               ListIterator list = indexedRecord.listIterator();
               while (list.hasNext())
                    System.out.println((String)list.next() + "<br>");
               System.out.println("Done<br>");
          catch (Exception e)
               e.printStackTrace();
               System.out.println(" Message = " + e.getMessage());
               System.out.println(" toString = " + e.toString());
here iam doing lookup of the connection factory & calling getConnection() method & simply executing an interaction.
Can anyone help me what could be the possible cause of the problem.

  • Mail does not allow signed message with .Mac certificate

    Hi all,
    until a few weeks ago, I was able to send signed or encrypted message with my .Mac account and .Mac certificate. Both of them are still valid, and I can still read all messages I sent as encrypted and/or signed, however, Mail does not show the two buttons to crypt and/or sign emails. The certficate seems to work to encrypt iChat dialogs as well.
    I repaired my Keychain, looked at how certficates were configured, everything seems normal to me.
    Any clue ??

    Well, it seems that we've come across something finally.
    In comparing notes, my friend (who is currently able to sign and encrypt messages) and I were comparing notes on our respective certificates. In doing so, he pointed out that he'd noticed a difference in the PURPOSE of my cert versus his cert.
    His cert shows the following purposes:
    1 - Client Authentication
    2 - Email Protection
    3 - Apple .Mac Identity
    4 - Apple iChat Signing
    5 - Apple iChat Encryption
    Whereas mine only shows these purposes:
    1 - Client Authentication
    2 - Apple iChat Signing
    3 - Apple iChat Encryption
    Another thing I noticed while comparing his cert to mine after he pointed this out...his cert is due to expire at the end of October. Mine, on the other hand, was created this past Friday.
    Now, from what I understand, these certs expire one year from date of issue, unless they are revoked earlier. So, I suppose the big question to everyone else out there that is having trouble with using their .Mac issued certificates is "When did yours get renewed?".
    I'm suspecting at this point that somewhere around the end of June the certificates issued by Apple for iChat signing suddenly stopped having the "Purpose" of mail protection. It would also seem that they suddenly stopped having the purpose of .Mac Identity.
    Now I'm curious why Apple would do this, make it actually relatively easy to create a cert that could be used for iChat and Mail encryption, then suddenly take it away. Is this actually what has happened here?
    I'd be really interested in seeing what the renewal dates are and the corresponding "Purposes" are for many of the folks that are reporting trouble with this very issue.
    If you are one of those people who had mail encryption working using your .mac certificate, and it suddenly stopped working...feel free to post your cert information here.
    To get the ball rolling, here's the information from mine...
    Issued By:
    - Apple .Mac Certificate Authority
    Expires:
    - September 14, 2007
    Purposes:
    - Client Authentication
    - Apple iChat Signing
    - Apple iChat Encryption

  • Error message when trying to sign in with iTunes: ConnectionManager::invoke::failed to find service connection url.

    I recently signed out of itunes on my imac and when i tried to sign back in i get the error message: ConnectionManager::invoke::failed to find service connection url. If i try again i get another box asking if i've forgotten my password. But my password is definitely right as i just used to it make an account on this support page. Any simple ways of fixing this?

    Just to test the simple things first, did you try to sign in using another credential?
    If only yours fails, then is a RIM issue, otherwise is indeed your Playbook failure.

  • I receive a server error when attempting to sign in with an existing apple id to set up a new matchbook air

    I have 2 apple ID's, one for an IPAD and the other for an IPHONE.  I have just purchased a new macbook air and when setting it up, I receive a 'server error' meesage when attamepting to sign in with either of the 2 pre existing apple id's.
    These pre exisiting ID's all work correctly with IPAD and IPHONE.
    Everything I have looked up says that I should be able to use either of these apple ID's to set up my new macbook air. I shoud not have to create a new apple ID or change passwords.
    I cannot progress with setting up the macbook air without signing in.
    How do I fix this?
    Help appreciated!

    Logging into itunes Store - Failed
    Logging into iTunes Genius - SUCCESS    I woulnd't have thought it would make a difference but it does Then just log into the 'other' services with iTunes.

  • During boot..contains a file system with errors ??

    Lately when I boot up my system, I receive the error dev/sda3 contains a file syetem with errors, force check.  I have to hit CTRL+D to continue.  Then it reboots, goes past sda3 to give the same error for sda4 which it checks...then I hit CTRL+D it reboots and usually continues to a working system.
    It has happenned many times in the past few weeks, however once boot up the system is fine.  Sda3 is my / partition and sda4 is home.  Should I check a log for more info, or should I manually run some checks?
    This makes my Arch system's boot up time seem to take as long as Ubuntu .
    Thanks

    glenn69 wrote:Thanks for the response, but that will simply perform the disk checks without the need for a reboot in between.
    Not quite - the disk checks during boot don't actually fix filesystem errors.  That's your job when you're dropped into the shell.  You may run fsck /dev/<your hd> (or fsck -y for non-interactive mode) to repair the filesystem.
    glenn69 wrote:That does help, but I'm a bit more interested in the WHY it is happening.  How do I find that out to determine a long term solution?
    Could be any number of reasons; I find an unclean shutdown is the most common cause for me.  But if this happens consistently after you manually repair the filesystems, there may be something wrong with your actual hard drive.
    Also, if you're not using a journaling filesystem (ex. ext3/4), try using one.

  • Container-managed / bean-managed transaction demarcation

    I am trying to make sure I understand container-managed and bean-managed transaction demarcation and in particular where you have one bean calling another bean. What happens where one of the beans has container-managed transaction demarcation and the other bean-managed transaction demarcation. In fact the initial question to ask is, is this allowed?
    Lets use an application scenario to illustrate the issue. The application has a payment transaction. Payments can be received in one of two ways:
    1. As a payment at a branch where the individual payment is processed on a client application and resulting in the processing of a single payment transaction.
    2. As a batch of payments received from a bank containing, potentially, thousands of payment transactions.
    The proposed implementation for this uses two session beans. The first is a Payment session bean that implements the business logic as appropriate calling entity beans to persist the change. The second is a BatchPayment session bean. This processes the batch of payment transactions received from the bank. The BatchPayment reads through the batch of payments from a bank calling the Payment session bean for each payment transaction.
    Lets look at the transactional properties of both session beans. In order to support the client application the Payment session bean can implicitly enforce transactional integrity and is therefore set to container-managed transaction demarcation. However the BatchPayment session bean will want to explicitly specify transaction demarcation for performance reasons. The transactional "commit" process is relatively expensive. When processing a large batch of transactions rather than performing a commit after every transaction is processed we want to perform the commit after a number of transactions have been processed. For example, we may decide that after every 100 transactions have been processed we commit. The processing will have a shorter elapsed time as we have not had to perform 99 commit processes. So the BatchPayment session bean will want to explicitly specify its transaction demarcation and will therefore be defined with bean-managed transaction demarcation.
    How would this be implemented? A possible solution is:
    Payment session bean implemented with container-managed transaction demarcation with transaction scope set to Required.
    BatchPayment session bean implemented with bean-managed transaction demarcation with transaction scope set to Required.
    When the client application is run it calls the Payment bean and the container-managed transaction demarcation ensures the transactional integrity of that transaction.
    When a BatchPayment process is run it explicitly determines the transaction demarcation. Lets say that after every 100 Payment transactions (through 100 calls to the Payment session bean) have been processed the BatchPayment bean issues a commit. In this scenario however we have mixed container-managed and bean-managed transaction demarcation. Hence my original question. Can container-managed and bean-managed transaction demarcation be mixed? If not how is it possible to implement the requirements as described above?
    Thanks for any thoughts.
    Paul

    BatchPayment session bean implemented with bean-managed transaction demarcation with transaction scope set to Required.Didn't quite understand this sentence.... if it's BMT it has no declarative transaction attributes such as "Required"....
    Anyway, first of all I'll have to ask, Why at all would you want to commit in the middle of the business method? to get as much through as possible before a potential crash? :-)
    Can container-managed and bean-managed transaction demarcation be mixed?Yes, of course. Just remember that the "direction" you are refering to ->
    a BMT SB that propagates it's transaction to a method in a CMT SB that is demarcated with "Required" is the simplest case. If it were "reversed", or for that matter any BMT that might be called within an active transaction context must perform logic to manipulate the transaction state. For instance(and most common case), checking to see if a transaction is active and if so not to do anything(just use the one that is already active).
    If not how is it possible to implement the requirements as described above?You could also implement this scenario with CMTs all the way through. your BatchPayment SB could consist of two methods, one (say, execute(Collection paymentsToExecute) ) with "Supports", and another(say executeBatchUnit(Collection paymentsToExecute, int beginIndex, int endIndex) ) with "RequiresNew".
    then have the first just call the other with indexes denoting each time a group of payments.
    Still, it does seem more suitable using BMT for these kind of things.....
    Hope this helped....

    Laurent -- You cannot use "RequiresNew" as the trans-attribute for your MDB. You would use "Required". Here is an excerpt from section 15.4.7 of the EJB 2.0 spec.
    The onMessage method is invoked in the scope of a transaction determined by the transaction
    attribute specified in the deployment descriptor. If the bean is specified as using container-managed
    transaction demarcation, either the Required or the NotSupported transaction attribute must be
    used.[26]
    When a message-driven bean using bean-managed transaction demarcation uses the javax.transaction.
    UserTransaction interface to demarcate transactions, the message receipt that causes
    the bean to be invoked is not part of the transaction. If the message receipt is to be part of the transaction,
    container-managed transaction demarcation with the Required transaction attribute must be
    used.

  • Does workgroup manager and OSX have problems?

    I am a classroom teacher using Adobe CS2 on 24 IMac G5's and 3 IMac G5's with the intel processor. I have had problems with Photoshop and Illustrator saving empty files and files disappearing. So my Tech people want to redo the server.
    They tell me that I can have only one group of users, because more groups causes many problems. At the present time I have four groups set up according to the different classes I teach. The groups are Desktop Publishing, Digital Photography, IWP Students and Night school. Each group has different programs and template files that they need for assignments.
    I have been told this using of two or more groups is what's causing saving problems with Adobe CS2 programs.
    They want to make one group for all students and I don't see why if workgroup manager sets preferences for each group (about 75 students in each group) that 2 or 4 groups is all that many. Right now each student is assigned to a group and only sees programs or files that are used in that group.
    If this new an improved setup is done then all students see everything and have access to all programs for all classes instead of just the group assigned to the class they are in.
    Am I missing something or isn't the server and workgroup manager supposed to be able to set up different groups so you can limit access.
    I want to limit access but the tech people want something easy and less limited. Are they right that the saving problems of Adobe CS2 programs is due to too many groups(4 total) with different preferences? Does Workgroup manager have problems with this type of setup? Are the Tech people just taking the easy way out to save on the new setup? Is my theory of limiting access wrong?
    I am from the days of At Ease with panels. I never had problems no file sharing no extra files or programs to use.
    Any opinions on the server setup with Workgroup Manager?

    Sorry I placed this in the wrong OS area and I don't know how to move it to the correct OS area. Can anyone help with that?

    If you had Firefox save your Yahoo password, first try deleting that here:
    orange Firefox button ''or'' classic Tools menu > Options > Security > "Saved Passwords"
    The "signed out" message seems to be related to how Yahoo authenticates you. Some users have reported that disabling automatic proxy detection solves the problem, and it also resolves an issue of getting logged out every few minutes, if you have ever experienced that.
    To make the change:
    orange Firefox button ''or'' classic Tools menu > Options > Advanced
    On the "Network" mini-tab, click the "Settings" button, then choose "No Proxy" and OK your way back out.
    If your work connection requires you to use a proxy server, try the "Use system settings" option instead.
    Does that help?
