  • Error in : Purchase order Creation using BAPI_PO_CREATE1

    Hell  guys,
    I am trying to create a PO using a BAPI - BAPI_PO_CREATE1
I want the new PO to have all the characteristics of an existing PO. whose PO # is  stored in wa_order_split_create-docnr and for the new PO, i want the quantity from wa_order_split_create-qty_acptd and the delivery data to be wa_order_split_create-dly_date. But this process and code below gives a short dump in the std FM - MEPO_DOC_ITEM_GET . It raises an exception of failure. I am trying to create many new PO's in the loop below. If there is just one row, sometimes, it creates the PO even with the exception failure ( which is pretty weird).
Am i making any mistake while filling the header or item or schedule lines for the BAPI_PO_CREATE1 ? Any tips or clues why I am getting a dump ?

  • Error when exporting to flat file in ODI 11g

This works ok in ODI 10g. I'm using IKM SQL to File Append on Windows Server 2008 R2
Getting the following error when exporting to a flat file in ODI 11g: ODI-40406: Bytes are too big for array
I've seen a couple of threads like this on the forum, but I've never seen an answer to the problem.

Problem is with the difference in behaviour for the IKM SQL to File Append KM between 10g and 11g.
Our 10g target file datastore had a mixture of fixed string and numeric columns. Mapping from the source to target was simple one to one column mapping. It generated the desired fixed format flat file; numerics were right adjusted with embedded decimal point and leading spaces. Each numeric column in the generated flat file occupied the exact space allocated to it in the layout. This gave the desired results, even though documentation for the 10g IKM states that all columns in the target must be string.
When we converted to 11g and tried to run this interface, it generated an error on the "numeric" columns because it was wrapping them in quotation marks. The result column was being treated as string, and it was larger than the defined target once it acquired those quotation marks.
In order to get 11g to work, I had to change all the numeric columns in the target data store to fixedstring 30. I then had to change the mapping for these numeric columns to convert them to right adjusted character strings (i.e. RIGHT(SPACE(30) + RTRIM(MyNumericColumn),30).
    Now it works.

  • DI API Error Code - 1, Error Message - General Error while adding order

    Hi All,
While adding sales order using di api(in .net web application), i receives error(code-1, message-general error) if some particular items are inserted as line items. For all other items, it works fine.
I put code to export the order to be added as xml if its giving such error. Then I have written one vb code which accepts xml as input and adds order from it. I tried exported xml with this application and it worked, without any change in exported xml order.
So I thought if general error comes, .net web page should export order xml and import it again and then use add method. But its not working. Though exported xml gets imported and order gets created if I use the other vb code(i run this after some 5 to 10 min, after order is not created from web application).
Please help me out of this problem.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Yogesh.

    Hi Yogesh,
I am not sure about the cause for your problem, but I would recommend to:
    a) use SQL Profiler to find out (hopefully) where the transaction actually breaks and
    b) involve SAP Support to find out what doesn't work when you use these particular items.
    HTH,
    Frank

  • Disco10g Viewer session errored on export to excel Javascript1.2 must ena

    Hi,
Disco Viewer session errored on export of Workbook. The following error is received in exported excel file "Your browser must support Javascript 1.2 and Javascript must be enabled in your browser to run OracleBI Discoverer properly." This report exports OK from Plus and Client.
Your valuable inputs are highly appreciable.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Venkat,

    To add to Patrick's suggestion....
What I am suggesting is not the cause of the FLOWS_030000 user existing error, but could be another issue which caused your installation to fail.
    In your post, you said...
This is the command i gave to configure from SQL prompt:
    @D:\Apex3.0\apexins.sql <Newly Create User> <Newly Created Tablespace> <Newly Created Tablespace> TEMP /i/
You have specified an absolute path when running the apexins.sql script. In order for the installation to succeed, you must first change your working directory to the directory where you unzipped the apex_3.0.zip file and then run the script. This is because the apexins.sql script subsequently references other sql scripts, using relative paths.
You have also not included a password in your command, was this just for purposes of the posting, or could this also be an issue, as in:
    @apexins password tablespace_apex tablespace_files tablespace_temp images
    Hope this helps,
    Anthony

  • Error in exporting photoshop file

We have several copies of After Effects being used in the office.  Both myself and another user have encountered a problem saving as photoshop layers.  It gets 87% or so into it and then gives the error; "error in exporting photoshop file" in the info window.  Any thoughts?

I don't think expressions should have any influence on teh matter. They are just another way of formulating an animation stream value just like keyframes. Icould think of a few things:
    - The new pixel aspect ratio handling in CS4. Due to the conversion, something may happen to the source footages.
    - Layer styles. this may cause a "cyclic use" of the Photoshop engine. Some of that stuff has changed quite a bit for CS4 to accomodate Ps Live 3D and teh new adjustment layer model.
    - Hardware accelerated effects. CS4 passes through OpenGL acceleration through all comps. Using an effect that uses it and happens to think it doesn#t need to fall back into software only mode, may cause a hiccup.
    - MediaCore. Similar to the previous, it uses hardware acceleration and may show weird behaviors, varying solely based on differences in graphics cards.
In particular for the last two points I would think it is what makes the difference between your systems. One of them has not enough juice on OpenGL, so it's "safe". I'd definitely investigate along those lines.

To find out what version of Eclipse you have, open the .eclipseproduct file.
To find out what version of the JRC you are on, you can look at the <eclipse home>\plugins\com.businessobjects.sdks.jrc.11.8.x to see what your latest version is.
This stack trace on it's own doesn't indicate why you are having a problem.  It could be a problem with something in the report.... or it could be something wrong in the code.  To ensure your code is correct, you should verify it against the sample code in the Developer Library and the JRC sample downloads.
Does the file get exported even though you have the error or is there no file or a zero byte file?

  • 'file could not be written due to an error' when exporting jpg

I'm working with an Illustrator file in CS2 and after a certain point it has started saying 'the file could not be written due to an error' when exporting to a jpg.
i've tried a couple things like deleting layers and although the file is much smaller, it still says the same error when exporting.
at its highest it was 130mb as an illustrator file and jpgs were 2-5mb.
i''ve tried copying some of the layers into a new file but the error report still comes when i'm exporting.
i have vector and raster based data in the file and tried turning off/deleting either of the layers and there is no difference.
i don't understand why it's started doing this because before it had no problem at all exporting before.
ANY IDEAS ANYONE?  I'm trying not to have to reproduce days of work to remake the file.
    many thanks,
    P

    Mylenium,
Sounds like you know a good deal about this product.  Is there any way to restore a color profile/setting to an earlier point?
I don't recall changing it and to tell you the truth, wouldn't be able to say which it may have been set to before - if different.
    Thanks,
    Paul

  • Error when exporting reports using MAPI

We created a .NET class that wraps CR 2010 .NET Crystal Reports functions and made it COM visible. This class is used to create a COM object in a js script which in turn used to export reports to a PDF file with the destination MAPI.
It exports reports just fine without any errors however if prior to instantiation the exporting class we instantiate a class that has nothing to do with the Crystal Reports functions, our exporting object throws u201CExternal component has thrown an exception.u201D error when exporting. It appears that it has something to do with the SideBySide feature. I was wondering if somebody knows what causes this and if there is a way to fix this problem.
    Thanks for your help!
