Error in f.14 (recurring jnl)

Hi,
When I am psoting transaction by useing recurring document templete by way of batch input session F.14
It giving an error message.
"Session SAPF120 was not created"
Cud anyone guide me where I am missing.

Error in opening Calendar Recurring Item

Hi,
I have created a recurring event in my calendar. I deleted one instance, when I open the deleted one in calendar/allitems.aspx it says " Item does not exist. It may have been deleted by another user."
But I noticed that the column of that item still have values, why I cannot open it? The form basically is error page.
Do you have any idea?

LR 5.2 error message on importing - recurring issue since LR4

Hi and thanks. This has been a recurring issue for me. I would be very grateful for some assistance - it is driving me mad!
I am running LR5.2 on MacOSX 10.8.5.
I am attempting to import images from a memory card via a card reader, using Copy in the Import dialog. The destination folder is on an external hard drive. There is no second copy, and I have deleted any previous second copy destinations.
LR can see the images on the card, but when I select Import, the progress bar moves along and a few hours later there are no images either added to the catalog nor copied to the external hard drive. If I watch the destination folder in Finder I can see that there are a whole lot of temporary folders being made and erased each with the file name of the photo, but there is no permanent transfer of data to the external hard drive. The error message is as follows "lightroom 5 could not copy a file to the requested location" and there is a list of the numbers of images (which is all of them) that were not copied or added to the catalog.
I have tried a different card reader. I have checked and double checked that I have read and write permissions on the external hard drive. I have checked that I have read and write permissions on all the Lightroom folders in the Application Support folder.
To make matters worse when I purchased LR5 upgrade initially I was able to import like normal on both of my computers, and today neither one will allow me to import via LR. I have not imported images for about a month on either machine but prior to that there was no problem.
I am able to add photos to the catalog from the external hard drive once transferred from the card, but I wanted to avoid this for time management reasons and also because I like to rename on Import.
I am sure I am missing something obvious here. If any of you lovely clever people could help me I would be most appreciative!

Sometimes it's just not worth it to fight city hall. There are plenty of free copying/renaming applets, use one to copy the files to the destination and then import with Add. The difference in time will be minimal because Add runs very fast.

Getting error while Executing Recurrig Document in F.14

Hi,
While exceuting the recurring document in F.14, SAP gives error message,"Session SAPF120 was not created".
Can any one please advice me why this error came up and how to execute the recurring documents using the template.

"No Disk" Error (premiere elements 11)

I have successfully installed Adobe Premiere Elements 11 on my PC:
     Dell XPS 8300
     Intel Core i7-2600 Quad Core (3.4 GHz, 8MB Cache)
     • 1GB Radeon HD 6450 Graphics
     • 16GB DDR3 1333 RAM
     • 1TB 7,200RPM Hard Drive (2 x 500GB RAID 0)
     • Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit
When I open the application and click "New Project" I get the following error message:
AdobePremiereElements.exe - No Disk
There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive
     \Devices\harddisk2\DR3
I can "cancel", "try again", or "continue". The only thing that works is to hit "cancel" (several times). Premiere Elements will then open, but the error message will keep recurring.   Adobe Support (Chat) has not been much help.
Anyone else come across this? This seems to be a common error in earlier versions (version 9), but I can't seem to find any good solution to it.   HELP!!!!
UPDATE:   Just as an FYI..while it's possible (but doubtful) there is preloaded software interfering, there is no other software (or viruses) installed on this computer.

Not an answer!! I am new to this. I get the same error message and from what I can gather reading the traffic, I have to reinstall Smart sound. Can anyone help a simpleton. I searched the DVD for all files referencing Smart sount, there is plenty. I don't really understand how I reinstall and what??Any help would be great!!ThanksTara

"Error #-1 was reported..." No disk image created

I created a new project, using the iDVD 4.0 movie projector theme. I dropped a 75 minute movie onto the theme that I created in Final Cut Pro and exported as a self contained movie. It has chapters and there are 5 pages of scene selection submenus. I put a :30 clip into the drop zone in the main menu and each of the submenu pages. I changed the default font to American Typewriter, and its color to white instead of the default color. All seemed well.
I chose Save as Disk Image and let it rip. I checked on it occasionally, and it seemed to be burning right along; I could see the footage passing in the burn window. At the end of the ordeal, I got a message that "Error #-1 was reported...", and I have no disk image and no encoded assets.
What's up with that? I had saved an almost identical project as a disk image a couple of days ago, and have used the same two movies for this one. The differences are that I made a couple of fixes in the movie, and that I exported as self contained instead of reference movie.
I have been using iDVD 5 since it came out, and had very good luck. But this project is giving me a headache. Any suggestions?

To follow up on this, I found that by switching to a completely different theme, my error message did not recur. So then I went back to my original theme (the movie projector) and did a test with a short clip, and I did not get the error.
I did the test on the movie projector theme without changing anything about it; when I first did the project that generated the error, I had made changes to the font, position and color of the theme, and I had five pages of scene selection submenus. It's possible that something I edited didn't agree with iDVD, and I got my error.
But it was INFURIATING to wait six hours for a disc image to burn, only to find that it didn't work. In the end, I decided to go without a menu and have an autoplay DVD. I used a method I found here in the discussions:

Sync: Multiple Instance Error Causes Desktop Manager to Fail

I can no longer sync my Outloook calendar with my Bold 9650 using Desktop Manager 6 (bundle 3084). I failed multiple times, rebooted each device and tried again but still receive the same error. Error is a message from Windows that Desktop Manager has stopped working. The last few entries in the log indicate:

Error syncing calendar

BB 9700 v 6.0 device software, desktop mgr 7.1
calendar stops one-way syncing in both directions with following error window: "the following recurring event could not be synced 9/21/2011 - MRP Collaborative Group meeting. Remove the event and sync again." When i looked for the event, it did not exist on either BB or computer. It had been deleted long before. Can't sync any events past that date.
Any help will be appreciated.
I forgot to add that this originally happened with desktop manager v 6 so i uninstalled that, installed v 7.1 and it still happened. I rebooted the device , backed it up, uninstalled device software and reinstalled it, and it still happened.

How did you open the .ics file in Outlook?
What error message did you get when you try to open the .ics file?
We can try File > Open > Open Calendar...
Or we can try to import the .ics file into your calendar, see:

I could not figure out that whil exporting in Oracle Apps in Receivables Module I am getting Error :
The following message recurs with the same 'A3 UIP Status' in error. I cant get past this message.
Value 1 for the flexfield segment A3 UIP Status does not exist in the value set A3_UIP_STATUS.

Is it a hardware or software problem with my hard drive?

A few days ago, I was burning a dvd on my Powerbook G4. It was taking a few minutes and I left. When I came back the dvd burn had completed but my screen was filled with a lot of text and codes. It was also frozen, all I could do was force the machine to quit. It said I had a corrupt stack and system failure. When I tried to restart, the computer failed to find a start-up disk. Using an option key hold down on start and the OS 10.4 installation disk I was able to get started. When ran disk first aid, the internal drive had file structure problems with bit maps and trees not large enough(??), or something like that. So I asked disk first aid to repair the hard drive. It whirred, and after a bit it said the hard drive was repaired. When I restarted from the repaired drive, things seemed ok, but not for long. Again everything froze up. I repeated the option start-up and disk repair. Again the utility found problems and repaired them. Same story when I restarted.
So next time I installed the OS 10.4 on an external fire drive and used it as the start-up disk. This seemed to work fine. After checking to make sure all my data from the failing drive was backed up to another drive (I have two ext fire-wire drives connected), I thought I would erase the affected drive and reinstall the OS. I did that, and then updated the OS to 10.4.8.
My problem now is that whenever the computer seems to be using the internal drive, whether booted from it or not, eventually something will freeze-up. Also, I am sure this drive was s.m.a.r.t. enabled, but now it says it is not smart supported. What's happening here? I do not have a hardware test in my utilities and I do not know if I have a physical problem with the drive or a file structure problem that recurrs for some reason. What is my next move??

Thanks for the Seagate info eww. My pb is a 800 MHz so I'll stick to finding a 120Gig HD. After my last posting, I wanted to make sure this hd was faulty and so I was running the computer booted up from the suspect drive. Things were fine for a while and after I had left the computer running and was away, when I came back, the screen was black and unresponsive to any prompt. I then went through 15 restarts trying to get booted up. I tried everything to get booted from the DVD drive and the OS install disk but it would go to the first screen where you select the drive to boot from and I would only get that ticking watch cursor and could go no further. Finally, I tried the restart with the command-S key route and got a disk os3 I/O error and a hfs early jnl init failed to open. I typed in fsck -fy and it seemed to run a disk repair similar to disk first aid. After a restart, I got to the finder screen but it ran very slow with that spinning pinwheel. I reset the pram again this time it said diskoS3, major 14, minor 2, HD appears OK. It then ran a little better until I was finally able to get to preferences and select the ext hd to boot from.
So now I'm able to get back online to this forum and check on the postings. And again everything seems to work fine from the ext HD. So does that confirm that my int drive is "screaming Replace me!!"
It must appear as though I am a glutten for punishment but I just like sorting these things out. Thanks for your help.

Serial number does not work on second computer

I've added a second in-design to my second laptop but the serial number does not work. What do I do?

Please confirm if the Indesign that you have is a perpetual license or a part of CC.
If it is a part of CC then serial number is not required. Then you can follow http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/ccm-prompt-serial-number.html
If it is a perpetual license then let us know the exact error that you are recurring.

HDV: Printing to Tape

I'm trying to print to tape from a HDV sequence and I get this error:
"The Specified file is open and in use by this or another application"
No other applications are open. I have rendered everything. No other clips or sequences are open. I have closed and re-opened FCP. I have trashed Preferences and restarted my computer. It seems everytime I try to Print to Video this error comes up at different percentage's of conforming video.
I have seen on other forums that people have had this error w/ trying to render. But I haven't found this error associated w/ any Printing to Video w/ HDV.
Any Insight?

If you are using Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger and Final Cut Pro, this error message may pop up from time to time. Mac OS X has a feature called Spotlight that runs in the background, indexing the files on your system to improve file searches at a later time. This error message can occur if Spotlight is indexing a folder that contains files Final Cut Pro is rendering. When Final Cut Pro renders files, it caches (the process of temporarily storing data, often in a computer’s CPU, in a location other than the hard drive so you can access it much faster) data, which can cause the error message if Spotlight is indexing in the same location.
Solution:
According to Apple, simply clicking OK solves the problem, but you can configure Spotlight so the error message doesn’t recur. In the Apple menu, select System Preferences. From the View menu, choose Spotlight and click the Privacy tab. Next, use the finder to open your Final Cut Pro Documents folder and drag the Render Files folder into Spotlight’s Prevent Spotlight From Searching These Locations area.

Group Footer to be repeated on each and every page.

hi all. i designed a crystal report with a group on department. within department i have 20 records and hence the group is carry forwarding to next page and i get group footer on the last page of the group. but i want group footer to be on every page. i created an additional group with a formula which has code just pagenumber so that since page number changes on every page i will get group footer on every page but unfortunately i get error message. grouped on recurring value.
please advise how to get group footer on every page.

patrick, thanks for feedback. that solution was already implemented and was rejected by users because if a group has only one record then in the record will be displayed in details section and then users need to scroll down to page footer to see group details. there is lot of gap between details and page footer. more over there is a page break for each group. further. we have this report already done and in use sice past 10yrs in actuate 7 and we are migrating actuate reports to crystal to get rid of actuate. our users developed some application based on the report in actuate 7. now any design changes in report needs changes in actuate. hence we need group footer on everypage even if group is carryforwarded to next page.
please advise.

Oracle 8i Install on Suse 6.4

I have tried in vain to install oracle on suse using a script from Suse's site without much success. I also tried the oracle installer. I get error messages with the enviroment settings or it bombs right at the end.
Could anyone please give me help on how to carry out the installation
One error message I got was :
JNLS exception:Oracle.ntpg.jnls exception. Unable to find any National charcter sets. Check your oracle installation and make sure that the Oracle_Home environment is defined correctly
