Error in Gateway service after transport

Hello All,
Currently I am facing  issues in the quality gateway server with the Services. The services are running fine in the development server , but when it is transported in the quality server and trying to run the service it is giving an error
Model 'ZXXX_WORK_CENTER_MDL_0001_BE ' contains error.Contact Administrator.
If anyone has faced this issue and know the resolution please let me know.
Regards,
Arijit

Hello All,
The issue is resolved now. the problem was due to RFC connectivity problem with the backend ECC server.
Thanks,
Arijit

  • Runtime Error 9 on WAD after transports

    Hi Experts,
I am << Run time error : 9 Subscript out of Range >> and it throws me out of WAD.
This is happening only in QA after the transports, but Dev is working fine.
I have checked the notes and steps suggested in the previous discussions but none of it is helped.
Please if any one has dealt with this error before and resolved it please help.
    Thanks
    Sarah

This is the only web template in QA and this was the first transport for the template.
I am unable to even get what the error actually is to debug it further other than the message.
I still continue to get the error even after re-import infact even Dev web tempplate also gives the same error after transport.
If anyone has had this error before please suggest.
    Thanks
    Sarah

Just for you know, the credentials taht i use in login modulo isn't the user of UME. I use user store in another user store. I fthe credential is correct pass to the Principal an user of UME. To login stack is right when pass to login module:

Could someone help with this question?
    Best regards

    Hi,
in what order did you specify your login modules? In that error message it looks like it's in wrong order. Your custom module should be first with SUFFICIENT and then standard user name/password with REQUISITE.

  • Web Dynpro automatically activate service after transport

    Hi all!
Well - I've searched SDN.  I've read notes.   I googled.  I can't seem to find exactly what I want.    When a web dynpro component transports it automatically activates in the new system.  However, the application creates an ICF entry.   That "service" does not automatically activate.  I can go to SICF and activate, but I don't want to do that in all the systems.  Nor do I have the authority in all systems.
Everything I've read on SDN seems to point to the fact that it can't be automatically activated.  The notes that I've read seem to piont to the fact that it can be activated automatically with the correct Basis settings.
When the application is created it automatically creates a "service" in http:server//sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/application.   Maybe it should be in a custom namespace?
Anyway I'm stuck - any help you could provide would be great.  I'm on ECC 6.0.
I've already read these notes that seem like they would help:
    1088717
    1124553
    1043195
    I've tried running RSICF_SERVICE_ACTIVATION.
I can activate the service manually.   It just isn't something that I'd like to do.
This may not be the correct forum, but as it relates directly to WDA, I thought I'd give it a try here.
    Thank you!
    Michelle
    I've looked at these threads:
web dynpro service inactive after migration
Why Web Dynpro Application can not work in UAT ?

    Hi Thomas,
I just want to add that a user who creates this variant, still needs authorization for Tcode SICF. But you're right, this could be done ones for a range of services.

  • Error adding Default roles after transport

we are trying to transport our GP to another system.
    the transport imported successfully.
but we are getting below error if we need to add the Default roles in the new portal system.
Administartion -> Assign default roles ->
Error/Message: The process template does not contain roles to which you can assign default values.
         Could not retrieve process template
    Design time:
Error/Message: 1.Cannot retrieve activity template: Development object does not exist in the database
                        2.      Cannot retrieve object:
Please suggest me if you have faced simiilar issue.

Already I have tried in both from Administartion -> Assign Default Roles -> Select the process, by selecting the process & when we click on Open, this error is populated.
Also in Design time -> select the process -> by clicking on the "Open" , I am getting this error.
Also, I have tried the option to do "Edit All" to change the version of all the objects and transport them to targeted system.
and , also implemented the SAP Note: 1321013.
But in all the above cases, I am getting the same error.
Then tried to remove the Default Roles and assigned all the roles to Initiator, then transported, still when I try to run the process and when I open the process getting the same error.
    SAP Note: 1321013:
    Terminate all process instances.
    Unlock all objects.
    Delete all process templates.
    Empty trash.
    Redeploy process templates.
    Release objects after Import.

  • Runtime Error in Test Client after Transport

    Hello SDNers,
I did enhancements to standard SAP component ICCMP_BP_SEARCH in developement system in client XXX of system SSS.
I wanted to test the functionality in client YYY so used SCC1 transaction to transport from client XXX to client YYY.
But when i tried to test the application, it resulted in runtime error.
I had kinda identified the problem while debugging, in the class CL_CHTMLB_CONFIG_UTILITY method CREATE_UI_ELEMENT, it is not taking my Z class references rather it still referring to starndard classes.
My Z classes are created for IMPL  class, CTXT class and CN00 class.
If any one has suggestions your help would be appreciated
    Thanks in advance.
    Best Regards,
    Srikanth

    Srikanth,
Is the definition of the enhancement set defined properly for your test client.  This table does not transport and you have to maintain it manually in each client.  The view is BSPWDV_EHSET_ASG for SM30.  Client is not the first field in the table, so you have to edit this view in each client.
    Take care,
    Stephen

Fundamental questions on transporting XI objects
Transporting objects in XI is different from transporting ABAP objects. As prateek mentioned you can transport XI objects using File system or CMS. By default you can use File system. If you want to use CMS you can transport it.

  • Error restarting OBIEE services after deploying a RPD.

    Hi all,
I have recently performed OBIEE installation and, when a repository is deployed and all services restarted comes an error like this one and BI Server status is down:
Operation Failed: start; OracleInstance: instance1; Component: coreapplication_obis1; msg 0 of 1 processes started.
OBIEE version is 11.1.1.6 and the unique RPD that works is the sample one, any others fail during the restart process.
I have been thinking that maybe it was a logging error but I am not sure due to the last actions I performed, which have been those:
    - Create a new user in the Console
    - Create a new repository and give the username created before and its password.
    Can you help me please?
    Regards,
    Borja M.

    Hi,
Thanks for quick answering, RPD consistency is checked and OK, so that is not the problem. RPD was also renamed and deployed again, throwing OBIEE the same error.
There is something particular related to this problem, any RPD works properly except of the one installed with the OBIEE software. I mean, maybe the error is always the same, or it is a configuration error, but I am not able to fix it.

    Borja

  • Error when executing Integration Gateway service

    Hello,
I created  a service on IGW to expose an oracle db as odata but i'm getting the following error when i call it from the browser:
    <error><code/><message xml:lang="en-US">An exception occurred.</message></error>
The service itself is working. Its destination is reachable from the IGW's management cockpit test, and its url returns the service description when executed from the browser. The error happens when i try to access an entity within the service, as in:
    https://smp3url:8083/gateway/odata/SIST/ODATATEST;v=1/Solicitacao/
I checked SMP's logs and found two possibly related error entries. The first is from execution of my custom script. I had to create a script to map the entity set names to actual table names in the database (their full name: schema + table name).
    2015 04 07 15:41:29#0-300#ERROR#com.sap.gateway.ip.core.customdev.processor.IGWScriptProcessor##anonymous#http-bio-8083-exec-5###[Gateway][TECHNICAL][TechnicalError]:This is first log
2015 04 07 15:41:29#0-300#ERROR#com.sap.gateway.core.odata4sap.ODataErrorCallbackImpl##anonymous#http-bio-8083-exec-5###handleError(): failed to serve request for URI https://smp3url:8083/gateway/odata/SIST/ODATATEST;v=1/Solicitacao, message = An exception occurred.
    Thanks,

    Thanks for the tips guys.
Jitendra, i can't connect to my database with that string format. I need to use a tns name format, such as:
    jdbc:oracle:thin:@(DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST=MyHost)(PORT=MyPort))(CONNECT_DATA=(SERVICE_NAME=MyOracleSID)))
I couldn't find a way to define the schema for this. I think i've passed this issue anyway. After the implementation of the custom script i stopped receiving an "Oracle - ORA-00942 : table or view does not exist" error from the service.
Midhun, i increased the log level but i couldn't find anything interesting in SMP's server logs. Still, i found this error message on the troubleshooting session of IGW's cockpit:
com.sap.gateway.core.api.provider.data.GenericODataProcessor: readEntitySet failed: entity set = Solicitacao, content type = application/xml;charset=utf-8, message = org.apache.olingo.odata2.api.ep.EntityProviderException: An exception occurred.
Is it a problem with the service itself then? This is interesting because i'm getting these errors  when generate the integration content on my project. I was actually ingnoring them because the deploy was still successful.

  • Access Service Builder Project after transport

    Hello Experts,
I had created a builder project in SEGW & had also created two web services under this project. Our system refreshes every week & then transports are re-imported on need basis. My GW developments are re-imported. Though all objects are there & service is also working fine, I am not able to find my builder project in SEGW after re-import. I have checked TADIR & entry does exist here. After debugging search help at SEGW, i found out that it seraches a global buffer table if current user has accessed that project earlier.
What would be the way to get my project in SEGW after transport or re-import?
    Regards
    Gaurav K

    Thanks Krishna for your reply.
It was actually an authorization error. That's why i was not able to see my project in SEGW. Thanks
