Error in inserting Task SOAINFRA.WFTASKPKG_111160
Hi All,
I have a main process which has call activity to a reusable process which in turns has a call activity to another reusable process.After successful deployment when i try to create an instance i am getting the below error.I am using Oracle BPM 11.1.1.6.0
Please help.Urgent

I got the answer myself. I have seen the following exception in the log files while trying to insert the taskpay load into humantask
ORA-06512: at "ORABPEL.WFTASKPKG", line 1164
ORA-12899: value too large for column "ORABPEL"."WFMESSAGEATTRIBUTE"."STRINGVALUE" (actual: 2901, maximum: 2000)
ORA-06512: at line 1
So I assume the max length for any element in taskpayload is 2000 characters.

Following error i am getting after i chnaged the Path in Config File from
\\vs01\d$\\Deployment\Files\temp.txt
to
C:\Deployment\Files\temp.txt
[Bulk Insert Task] Error: An error occurred with the following error message: "Cannot bulk load because the file "C:\Deployment\Files\temp.txt" could not be opened. Operating system error code 3(The system cannot find the path specified.).".I think i know whats going on. The Bulk Insert task runs by executing sql command (bulk insert) internally from the target sql server to load the file. This means that the SQL Server Agent of the target sql server should have permissions on the file you trying to load. This also means that you need to use UNC path instead to specify the file path (if the target server in on different machine)

Whenever a particular person in my organization sends a task to another particular person and that receiving person clicks to accept, everything seems normal as they get "Edit the response before sending" or "Send the response now". Now
the problem arises when you click (whichever of the 2 options) to send the response, the task does not get accepted and it is not being added to the task list of the receiving person. When you try to click "accept" again the following error comes:
The "<insert task>" cannot be sent. It may be an attachment of another message
It only happens to a specific person receiving tasks from another specific person. I tried using a whole new computer and a fresh "Outlook 2010", but I receive the same error whenever tasks are being sent from that person. Tasks that are sent from
other people are received and accepted well. The account of the person who sends the tasks seems to be in order (other people can accept his tasks).
If anyone knows a possible cause or solution to this, I would be more than grateful to that person if such information was shared. Thank you.Hi,
What type of email account are the two users using?
If it's an IMAP account, please try moving/copying the task to a local pst's Inbox on the recipient's side and then try accepting it from the local pst's Inbox to see the result.
In addition, other community members who had this problem are using IMAP and a few were able to work around the issue by switching to POP3. You may also have a try and let me know the
result.

SCD TYPE 2 in ODI 11g-error in INSERT CHANGING AND NEW DIMENSIONS
Hi Guys,
Im using IKM:Oracle Slowly Changing Dimension to achieve SCD TYPE 2.
It is working fine for Overwrite on change.
But whenever there a new insert upon change(Add Row on Change) in source, throwing below error:
ODI-1228: Task INT_EMP_SCD_TYPE (Integration) fails on the target ORACLE connection ORA_DEV_EDW.
Caused By: java.sql.SQLIntegrityConstraintViolationException: ORA-00001: unique constraint (DEV_EDW.EMP_KEY) violated.
I have unique key in target table column SAPID.
How to overcome this issue.

As said in the error message, you have an unique or primary key on one column and you try to insert a value already existing. This is a design issue.
You have to ensure that you don't try to re-insert existing value for the column(s) with the key.

Cannot fetch a row from OLE DB provider "BULK" with bulk insert task
Hi, folks:
I created a simple SSIS package. On the Control Flow, I created a Bulk INsert Task with Destination connection to a the local SQL server, a csv file from a local folder, specify comma delimiter. Then I excute the task and I got this long error message.
[Bulk Insert Task] Error: An error occurred with the following error message: "Cannot fetch a row from OLE DB provider "BULK" for linked server "(null)".The OLE DB provider "BULK" for linked server "(null)" reported an error. The provider did not give any information about the error.The bulk load failed. The column is too long in the data file for row 1, column 1. Verify that the field terminator and row terminator are specified correctly.".I got the same error with some additional error details (below). All I had to do to fix the problem was set the Timeout property for the SQL Server Destination = 0

Data Flow Task
OLE DB Source – connecting to Oracle 11i
SQL Server Destination – connecting to the local SQL Server 2008 instance

Error Unable to process row on table SH_ADD_EMPLOYEES_VWFrom what I see you are not handling emp_id when it is null.. you need to assign it a value when null from sequence.. that column cannot be null, hence the error, and in order to "modify" a column in that table the DML needs that id to have a value.

from the error what I understood is lt_key_values is a sorted table and you are trying append a new line to it. Incase of sorted table you need to use the INSERT statement and not the APPEND statement.
INSERT lw_key_value INTO table lt_key_values.

Error when inserting Web Dynpro script in Adobe form
Hi
In my WD component in one of the view I have an ADOBE form (Online scenario) and a button to save data into backend. In the ADOBE form everything is working properly, however the problem is when I click on the button to save, Its not getting into my action code. Even I am not getting any error other than the wait symbol.
In the form I have taken ZCI layout but when i'm inserting Webdynpro Script its showing an error 'Error when inserting Web Dynpro script'.
Please let me know why this error is getting.

AnandI had a similar issue, but it was after my application was automatically converted by JDEV from 1.1.1.3.
Perhaps others have determined how to fix the application and projects after the conversion, but I recreated everything in 1.1.14 and this seems to work. -

hi' I am getting error after trying to customize the Worklist application.

ERROR WHILE INSERTING BLOBS AS PARAMETERS OF EXISTING STORED PROCEDURE
I have 2 simple tables to keep large application data (as XMLDOCUMENT in one table and BLOB in another):

I communicate with database from .Net application using "Oracle.DataAccess 10.1.0.200 (Runtime version v1.0.3705)" component.
Following procesure is a [simplified] examlple of the code I use, which demonstrates the errors while inserting XMLDOCUMENT and BLOB values simultaneously.
In my application those should be quite big objects (~200 K XML and ~5-25M binary image data), but following sample keeps failing even with very small-sized objects:

If I try insert only XMLDOCUMENT object (lines 30, 42 are commented out, 43 IS NOT) - everything is OK.
If I try to insert only BLOB object (lines 30, 42 are NOT COMMENTED OUT, line 43 is commented out) - everything is OK again.
If I try to insert them both having some values (lines 30, 43 are commented out, 42 is not commented out) - it fails right on "command.ExecuteNonQuery();" (line 54)
with the following exception:
"ORA-21500: internal error code, arguments: [%s], [%s], [%s], [%s], [%s], [%s], [%s], [%]".
Even when I nullify oraBlob before assigning it to OracleParameter value (line 30 is commented out, line 42 and 43 are not) I have the same exception.
XMLDOCUMENT and DLOB data logically are very coupled objects (in my application), so I really want to insert them simultaneously in one stored procedure in transactional way.
Is it bug of drivers, server, .net environment, or I miss something in implementation?
PS. In some articles on Oracle web and in MSDN site I found a mention about necessity of wrapping all write/update operations in a transaction, while working with temporary LOBs. I use it here, but it does not look like changing anything.Hello,
I tested your code with the 10.1.0.4.0 ODP and 10.1.0.4.0 Client and it worked fine.
Can you please apply the 10.1.0.4.0 patches for both ODP and client to see if this resolves the issue for you.
Here is the output from the same execution of the ODP application you provided as a testcase. These rows were inserted at the same time when I executed the application and passed the data as parameters to the SP you provided.
