Error in Java Transports.
Dear All,
We are on JDI SP8 & are facing a problem while importing a request.
Yesterday we had a problem while transporting a request and we found out that it was due to the fact the the CMS userid password had expired. Then we changed and then then accordingly to the note 896427. After the changes, we did a system restore in the JDI instance and when we started with the first import. The import kept running and running and then it fails, I also tried with one more request and it again failed. I get the following error message:

But then, the idle system is already set to false, the memory settings are also quite good and the file system & niether the build space is in privelage mode.
I am not sure about how to resolve the error.
Please help us as we are stuck and unable to proceed further with our developments.

Hi All,
There was a password problem again, and we had to restart the CBS, change the password and then we did a system restore in the CMS and things started working fine.
Thanks.

I have tried use session to get a SMTPTransport instance to use sendMessage ,but still have the same problem. No exception ,No error.
This problem doesn't appear always. It appears sometimes.
I hope get help for someone who has the solution for this problem.
Thanks in advanced.Ok, I think I see the problem:

props.put("mail.smtp.connectiontimeout ", "1000");
Why do you have spaces at the end of the property names?
Those spaces are not being ignored, which means you've
set the wrong properties. -

Error starting java in RedHat Enterprise ES v3
Hello all. I'm posting hoping someone has run into this before and might be able to help me.
We've set up a number of boxes with Redhat Enterprise ES v3, and upgraded the kernel from the stock RedHat 2.4.21 to 2.4.26 because we required reiserfs support (no idea why it isn't bundled from RedHat).
We are using j2sdk1.4.2_02.
Once the kernel was upgraded, I tried to run java and we get a strange error. Java runs fine with the stock kernel, but not with the new one.
At this point in time, I'm inclined to think I neglected to enable an option in the kernel configuration, but I went back and wasn't able to find anything.
Any idea what could be causing this issue? The complete error is below.
Thank you in advance
-Paul

# The exception above was detected in native code outside the VM
# Java VM: Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (1.4.2_02-b03 mixed mode)Hi ditg.
I have no idea what was causing the problem on 2.4.26, but at this point in time, I'm almost 100% sure it's a kernel-specific issue.
The workaround I came up with was rebuild the 2.4.21 kernel using the RedHat sources, disabling all the non-necessary modules and basically make it as slim as possible.
Once we successfully recompiled 2.4.21, j2sdk1.4.2.02/3/4 runs fine.
Hope this helps....

SPP Error - No valid transportation lane between Supplier and LOC1
Hi
While running the EOQ and SFT planning service, we get the following error
"No valid transportation lane between Supplier and LOC1". LOC1 is the entry location for our BOD.
We have not created any procurement relationships as we are working on a standalone SCM trialbox.
Appreciate any help/suggestions to resolve this issue.
Thanks & Best Regds
MiteshHi Mitesh,
You need to have valid transportation lanes from the supplier. Maintain it manually. If I remember correctly it is possible to have External Procurement Relationships in APO only (type 4) and not just contracts, purchasing inforecords or scheduling agreements CIFed from ECC.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,

Murali PapanaDid you see that you tried to transport to an older release!! You should have expected such a result.
Before doing such a thing, you should have looked at SAP notes to see SAP recommendations, if any. And you're lucky, there are ones: [Note 1090842 - Composite note: Transport across several releases|http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1090842]. You need to know that ECC6 corresponds to SAP Basis 7.0, and ECC5 corresponds to SAP Basis 6.40. -
Vehicle Scheduling Error:Error when creating transport structures in live C
HI Gurus,
We have one background job defined for Vehicle scheduling, which shows completed successfully but in log it says that :
: Error when creating transport structures in liveCache and Not possible to schedule shipment in the planning horizon.
My planning horizon is for 90 days from current date and demand horizon is for 30 days.
I have checked the VS profile and i dont find any problem with profile.
Can you please help me in finding what exaclty went wrong
Thanks,
AMolTry This..
1. Open the crystal client on your local machine and import that particular report.
2. Do Database -> Verify Database. Then refresh the report on your PC and make sure that it returns data as expected.
3. Export it back to repository and try scheduling it again. You can verify through CMC for Crystal Reports under " Database Configuration" property to make sure it points to the right ODBC.
Let us know. -

As a guess 'text' is probably a keyword and shouldn't be used as a field name. It is possible that the same is true for 'id' -

There are standard SAP programs for adding or deleting org levels

Any Help will be appreciated. Thank you.sounds like your deployment isn't right - either your classpath isn't set correctly or you haven't included all the classes necessary in your deployment - or if this was working but now it's not then perhaps you removed something?

Merging Java Transport request with Abap Transport Request in Charm
Hello All,
We have activated the Change request Management in Solution Manager. Therefore transport request of type workbench and customising can be created when you choose action 'Create Transport Request'.
However we have some SAP systems that have CTS+ integrated which allows to generate transport request number and attach objects in PI Integration Directory - java transports.
Question is - Is there a way we can integrate the java transports generated in these SAP systems with Solution Manager CHarm and transport creation.
Or can we assign the java transports to charm in any way.
We are basically looking for how when users create Charm, the abap and java transports relating to the charm are generated and created only from Solution Manager manager or how these two transports can be linked together in Solution Manager.
Thanking you in advance for your help.
TollyHello Friends
I have read the links and followed the instructions and tried to create object
TABLENAME R3TR TABU and tried to save it.
I keep getting a warning message
Note: ZTABLE1 is an application table
Object TABU ZTABLE1 has object function "k", but no key.
(I don't know what key to enter. I tried the Key field name, but it said 'Enter Numeric values only').
If I ignore and save and try to create transport request and then import it on a different server, again only table structure is getting transported and not the contents/data of the table.
I would appreciate if some one can please let me konw what I am doing wrong.
Thanks
Ram

Hi all!
I'm getting this error when I try to execute my application in JDeveloper: Error(5): java.util.zip.ZipException: invalid entry size (expected 2875 but got 2845 bytes)
This started to happen after I had checkout my application to CVSNT.
Any help?
P.S. I'm using JDeveloper 10.1.3 with CVSNT 2.5My cvswrappers file (CVSNT):
*.cab -kb
*.class -kb
*.doc -kb
*.dll -kb
*.ear -kb
*.exe -kb
*.exp -kb
*.fla -kb
*.gif -kb
*.gz -kb
*.jar -kb
*.jpg -kb
*.jpeg -kb
*.lib -kb
*.msi -kb
*.mso -kb
*.pdf -kb
*.pfw -kb
*.png -kb
*.ppt -kb
*.sit -kb
*.swf -kb
*.tar -kb
*.tlb -kb
*.vsd -kb
*.xls -kb
*.war -kb
*.wmz -kb
*.zip -kb Via Tortoise client I can add and commit zip (jar) files in binary format and everything is OK.
If I do that via Jdev, anybody who checkout that module from cvs have zip exception, because JDev didnt sent in binary format. How to setup that?
Thanx

Hi All,
Error(7): java.util.zip.ZipException: invalid entry size (expected 813 but got 817 bytes)
Today I opened my working project in Jdeveloper 10.1.3 version and as I compile the project, it gives me this error in all Jsf - Jsp pages.
The line that it shows the above error in my pages is follows.
<%@ taglib uri="http://java.sun.com/jsf/html" prefix="h"%>
Any idea ? Till yesterday, I never got this error and all of sudden it started showing up.
Your help appreciated.
thanks,
ppAnd just to add, nothing got checked out from repository (I mean CVS etc).
I have this project and Jdev on my windows laptop. I just opened it and started getting this strange error. any idea ? -
Error: The Java Runtime in use does not contain a suitable JAXP feature
Hi,
I'm trying to get Eclipse TPTP to work. One of the steps I need to execute is to run a setConfig.bat file. When I ran it, I got the following error:
ERROR: The Java Runtime in use does not contain a suitable JAXP feature
RESOLUTION: Use a JRE which supports the JAXP featureI use Eclipse Europa, and it is using my JDK (actually JRE) 1.6.0_05. That should mean I have JAXP in my JRE (which is confirmed when I search on JAXP from the directory C:\Program Files\Java containing jdk1.6.5_05 and jre1.6.5_05 directories).
Is there something extra I need to do to let Eclipse and TPTP find my JAXP classes?
TIA,
AbelHi,
Even i am getting the same error but i use JRE 1.5.0_14. please let me know if you happen to resolve this.
Thanks in Advance,
Sai
