Error in Personalized view in Buyer work bench

Hi,
We created for one user a personalized view in the buyer workbench on the requisition tab.
Now we get an error:
The value Cazabat, Maurice specified for the item ResultsTable.SuggestedBuyerId is an invalid number.
And we are unable to create any customized view or delete this one. Basically the user can't access this form anymore.
Any ideas?

System administrator > Application > Administer Folders > Enter user name and hit find.
Delete the folder associated with the user and try again.

Buyer Work Center Document Builder Error in Purchasing

Hi Gurus,
I am getting this error in BWC(Buyer Work Center) for PO's which can be updated by using Requistion Tab choosing update in document builder for existing PO's.
next sequel number is not populated in update document builder page for PO's. did any one faced this kind of problem. This is not happening with all of the user systems, only with few that's wierd.
Navigation:
Purchasing Super User >> Buyer Work Center >> Requisition
Here selecting requisition number to be added/updated to existing PO's. once we do "Add To Order" update for PO in document builder.
Immediately throwing an error below, actually it should take next line to existing PO, its not happening.
*"You cannot combine this line with another line because the Item Numbers are different."*
What would be cause for this, I tried in Metalink oracle support to find something on this, But No luck.
Please advice, what steps to be taken to resolve this.

How to check IE error in Runtime work bench.

scenario: File to File
*file moves from sender to archive folder when i start sender cc in runtime work bench but file doesn't move from archive to receiver folder when i start receiver cc in runtime workbench and i think some thing wrong in IE so can anyone help me for the same.i'm fresher so give me your solution as simple as possible.

Personal view is created and working very slow

i have created a personal view and its takes long time to load suddnley

Is it consistent now or does it sometimes take longer than others.
Are there any other performance issues on that list or on other parts of the site
How slow is slow and how slow do other views render
Is there anything special about this view?

Query on Personalized Views derived from Purchasing Module

Dear OAF Gurus,
I am trying to do analysis on the personalized views provided on the purchasing module.I need Oracle's help on this.
The navigation for this is Purchasing Super User -> Buyer Work Center -> Orders.
When I click on the personalize button,it navigates to the CustomJRADTableViewsPage.xml for the creation of the personalized views.
When I analysed this page for any VO from which the personalized views are getting stored,am just finding the VOs to be dynamically created.
I need an understanding of this VO's.
1) Where are these personalized views stored?
2) What is the VO that gets displayed in the personalized views page?
3) How are these personalized views visible to only for those users who created them?
Kindly answer all these questions and get back to me if you have any queries regarding this.

Migrate from Access 97 to Oracle using Migration Work Bench to mi

When I try to use Migration work bench to migrate an Access 97 database to Oracle using OWB I get "failed to truncate Source Model ORA-00942 tables or view does not exist" error message and I could not go further.
This happens during clearing the Source Model. Doe any one know what is this error means or any one had this problem before.

Hi Njha,
Did you create the Source Model using OMWB and then delete the tables in the OMWB repository manually ? Or is there a chance that the tables in your repository could have been corrupted in some way ? The OMWB is simply trying to truncate the tables it filled when a previous attempt was made to capture the source model before it re-populates the tables with data from your subsequent attempt at a capture. If the tables it is trying to truncate have been deleted or are corrupt, this error will be displayed.
A workaround to your problem would be to drop the schema you are using for the OMWB repository and create a new one.

I developed the simple search and advanced search with dyamanic where caluse (I am setting the where clause and not using the where caluse genrate by Search Framwork ) . now i have to develope the personalized View page . i am using same method used in simple search and advance search for genrating where caluse dayanamiclly . but problem is that in personiazied view i am not able to invoke that method as i am not getting the how to handle the apply and apply & view result button in view panal . if anyone work on personalized View creation or know anything about creation of personalized view , please share your knowladge . its urgent , please help me

Looks like you are running a page which is part of a multipage transaction. Check the page function and make sure that page is not expecting any parameter, all the corresponding class files are present in the myclasses folder.

IBM cognos TM1 Executive viewer is not working on direct Access

Hi,
We are implementing DirectAccess in our environment and testing applications in test lab. It has been observed that executive viewer is not working on Direct Access but working fine over VPN mobile checkpoint. When DA client click on open view button it
gives error
" Additional information:
Unable to connect to server XYZ.com using TCP-IP port 7112. Please make sure that IBM cognos TM1 executive viewer server is started and the port is not blocked by any proxy server or firewall"
but from client telnet is working on port 7112. All ports between DA server and application server are open 3389,7112 and 80.
Also select database option is grayed out and user is unable to select the database. When switching to VPN its working fine.
We are using Executive viewer 9.4.
Any help would be appreciated.

It sounds like this program may not be capable of talking over IPv6, which DirectAccess uses. First make sure that when you connect it is trying to talk to a hostname and not an IPv4 address. If your program is calling for "192.168.1.100" - this is never
going to work over DirectAccess. It must call for a name that DirectAccess can resolve to an IPv6 address for communication over DA.
If you confirm it is talking to a name, and then if you confirm that you can do other things to that same name (can you RDP into the server for example?), then that confirms that DirectAccess traffic flow is working to that name/server.
If RDP works but the application still doesn't work, then the application is probably incapable of IPv6. You can either ask IBM if they have a newer version that does talk IPv6, otherwise I have a utility available that can intercept packets from these kinds

Receiving bitlocker error in Event Viewer whenever i attach an external HD to my desktop (non are encrypted with bitlocker)

Seem to be having a problem recently. Whenever I attach any external drive to my Desktop I receive the following error in Even Viewer. I never encrypted any of the drives in question with bitlocker.
Encrypted volume check: Volume information on \\?\Volume{7cc70383-5d6b-11e0-855c-001c25a5a540} cannot be read.
Event ID: 24620
And I cannot access my drive information. At first i thought it may be an issue with one of the drives I have partially encrypted with TrueCrypt but I tried several other unencrypted drives and I receive the same error and I cannot access the
data on my drives.
I tried to access the Bit Locker Recovery tool program (downloaded the VISTA Version since there was no Windows 7 Version that I could find), but it did not allow me to install the recovery tool to attempt some kind of fixing.
The strange thing is that I do not have Windows 7 Ultimate installed (which from what I understand is the only way to have Bitlocker). I have windows 7 professional and I never encrypted my drives with bitlocker, 1 out of the 3 drives is partially
encrypted with TrueCrypt, the other 2 are not encrypted with anything.
The stranger thing is that I can plug the external drives to another laptop and I can access the data fine with no problem or errors. I searched the forum for simliar problems, but did not see any responses with fixes to this issue.
The only thing I can think of is that my Desktop downloaded and installed a bunch of Windows Updates within the last 4-5 days.

BitLocker Repair Tool to fix it, refer:

What error message did you receive when you use BitLocker repair Tool?
I notice one drive is encrypted with TrueCrypt, please use that program to unencrypt the drive for test.
If it doesn’t work, since the issue didn’t appear before, you can try to perform a system restore to see the result.

Oracle Work Bench - MS SQL to Oracle

I am using oracle work bench for migrating MS SQL database to Oracle 8i. When i am trying to migrate the Stored procedures with cursors, i am get expections. I am able to migrate tables and SPs (which don't have any cursors in it). I will cite an example for better understanding. Assuming the following is SP in MS SQL

The Workbench uses an underlying repository, so all the choices you make are saved. However the primary usage of the tool, is one off migration, not continous migration. If you want to rerun multiple times, you should probably generate the offline schema and data migration scripts.

SQL>Committing an update that updates no rows against a master table for a single table fast refreshable materialized view results in the error above when the materialized view log on the master table is created with the COMMIT SCN option. Query Rewrite is an option for a Materialized View, not a Materialized View Log. Also, query rewrite is used as an optimization technique which "transforms a SQL statement expressed in terms of tables or views into a statement accessing one or more materialized views that are defined on the detail tables". I don't think it plays any role in the refresh path.
Regardless, it made no difference.

An error prevented the view from loading

I'm using SQL Server 2012 Express and I'm building a report with one table. I dragged and dropped two data set elements into the table that has two columns (Product Name and Product Description). Both the dataset elements have
a data type of varchar (50) in SQL Server 2012 Express. The table with those two elements is the only data I have in Design view. When I click on Preview, the Preview screen states 'An error prevented the view from loading.'. This is difficult
to diagnose, because in the Error List there are '0 Errors', '0 Warnings', and '0 Messages'. I would like help understanding if there is another error log I can observe to understand the issue, or if there are basic SQL Server 2012 Express Reporting

Additionally, when I run the query in SQL Server 2012 Express and Reporting Services Query Designer the query results are correct.
Also, when I click the start debugging button, the report displays and I can export it to pdf, however the Previous still displays the error.

Well, funny stuff. I shut the solution down yesterday, then I booted my computer today and started the solution AND JUST LIKE MAGIC....it works. I can't explain it. Persistence pays, that's the answer sometimes.
