Error in Posting of Vendore Excise Inv.

Hi,
I have been facing one error while posing of Vendor Excise Inv. against incoming materials using T.Code: J1IEX.
When I try to post Excise Inv. against 'Vendor Excise Inv. / Internal Excise Inv.' I am getting Error msg "All Part I entries have been canceled for excise invoice 28 2010". (Where 28 is Vendor Excise Inv. & 2010 is Excise Year.)
As per the Error msg. I checked GR but it is not canceled.
Can any one guide me why I am getting this error msg. ?
Thanks
Vivek

  • Cancel Vendor excise invoice

    Dear All,
we need to cancel the vendor excise invoice which is captured and posted by J1IEX.
till now we have made GRN and captured and posted the excise invoice against the GRN but due to wrong entries in value field we need to cancel the posted invoice and recapture and post the excise invoice
so please guide me how do it for following conditions.
    1) if i want to make complete cancellation and new posting against same GRN
    2) if i want to post only some adjustment posting for correction
    Regards,
    Vimlesh

    Hi
    1. For adjustment you can use Excise JV - Tcode J1IH
Use this if there was error in amount of excise posted - Here Additional exicse means u enter more amount and other adj means you reduce amount
    2. If you want to cancel the excise invoice and redo whole process then
In MIGO cancel the GRN ....
      Case 1 .. if part 2 posted
goto J1IEX .. again post same vendor excise invoice to reverse the credit
Now in J1IEX cancel the same vendor excise invoice and ...redo whole process
      Case2 .. if part 2 not posted
go to J1IEX and cancel the vendor excise invoice ...... redo whole proces from GRN till part2

  • Exact method of Cancellation of Incomeing Vendor Excise Invoive

    Dear CIN Experts ,
There is a lot of unclariy in my mind regarding the cancellations & reversals in case of CIN related document.
My client posted a GR with Capture only excise & hence part 1 entries were made .
After this he posted the vendor excise invoice thro tcode j1iex but forgot to change the posting date .
Now what is the method to just correct the postings made thro j1iex ??

THE PROBLEM IS ONLY WITH THE PART 2 ENTRIES WHICH NEED TO BE CORRECTED.
if we try to POST the already posted part 2 entry of an excise invoice the system says " No Part I exists for availing credit in excise invoice 6505 2008"
hence posting a posted invoice doesnt work ....
if one tries to CANCEL the already posted part 2 the system says "Excise invoice 6505 2008 has already been posted for vendor 200020"
hence cancelling a posted invoice doesnt work ....
if one tries to CHANGE the already posted part 2 the system says "Excise invoice 6505 2008 has already been posted for vendor 200020"
hence changing posted invoice doesnt work ....

    Regards

    Dear Prasanna Raju,
These setting which you have mentioned that all are completed, There is one more setting which we do in purchasing view of vendor master by following path
Extra --> Additional Purchasing data --> Check Data retention at plant level --> Maintain the respective plant code and then checking at purchasing view.
So is this setting required to maintain, If not whats the purpose of this setting
I shall be very thankful if you provide your valuable inputs on this

  • Maintain Vendor Excise details - MIGO error

    Hi all........
Im doing Stock transfer from one plant to another plant within a company code through stock transport order.
I created STO in receiving plant, after the I created outbound delivery in VL10B and PGI in VL02N in supplying plant. With Post Goods Issue Material document I created Excise Invoice in J1IS.

When I enter the EI number system is recognizing the number.  But the problem is when I click on save its giving error "Maintain Vendor Excise details".
In sto we will not mention any details then y system is giving this error.
    Please suggest.

    Hi Durga
There are few check points to resolve this problem
--Check for vendor master for plant XYZ & in control data we have to maintained the customer no. e.g. 999 for XYZ
---Check in J1ID Chapter id,Material and Chapter Id Combination whether you have maintained or not, if not maintained it
--- Check J1ID whether you have maintained the Vendor excise Details for That supplying plant, if not Maintained it.
i hope this will get resolved your problem

  • Error in Posting Vendor down Payment request

    Hi
I am getting an error in posting vendor downpayment request. I am using the T Code F-47 and special GL indicator F.
Error: Special GL Indicator F is not defined for down payments
    Message No F5053
Diagnosis: The specified GL Indicator is not classified as "Down payment" or not listed in the list of the target special GL indicators "F"
System Response: The entry is not accepted
Procedure: Enter an allowed special GL indicator or indicate a change of the default settings
I have checked the settings in FBKP. The GL Accounts and properties have been maintained there. The target GL Indicator A is also maintained in the properties. In OBXT also the GL Indicator has been defined. What could be the error?
    Regards
    Rahul Sharma

    Hi,
What ever the special gl you are created or assigned to K in OBXT are will not allow to post down payment. in FB60 by using these special gl indicators we can post invoice.
Go to OBXR and assign F is for down payment request if it is not there. before assign in OBYR delete the assignment in OBXT. Defaulty the F is used for down payment requests only.
Hope this is clear, if yes assign points, any problem revert me

  • Error on posting vendor invoice

    Hi Gurus,
Have encountered an error while posting transactions thru idoc. See error below:
Field Payt Terms is a required field for G/L account ABCD 201101
GL account 201101 is the recon account of the vendor.  Our entry is:
    Debit Expense   XXX
    Credit Vendor          XXX
    Thanks,
    Ellicec

    Hi:
The error could easily be searched on SDN. Its very simple things that system will pop up such error if basic configuration is missing in your field status group for vendor reconciliation account OBC4....your Vendor recon field status group (G067 by standard) ....Payment transactions...Payment term. Payment term has been set as mandatory over there or in posting key for crediting vendor in OB41. So you must enter payment term while entering data in FB60.

  • Error in Posting Excise  J1IEX

    Hi All
I am trying to do excise posting using J1IEX for Noncenvatable material.I have done CAPTURE EXCISE for this GR .Internal excise number is generated, but when I am trying to post this INTERNAL EXCISE NUMBER the error message displayed is :
"NO PART 1 EXISTS FOR AVAILING CREDIT IN EXCISE INVOICE  3414 2007".
This material is non cenvatable,so no PART1 posting is done while doing MIGO.Also,I have checked the settings in J1ID,they are correct.
Then why is this error message coming and how to correct/post this Excise.
Is this any other alternative available to post it.
    Its urgent.
    Thanks in Advance
    Payal

    HI
As per your below mention statement there is no excise benefit avaiable with you for the same material.
    If yes then
As you mentioned the GRN you have done is non cenvatable material in that case no question of excise invoice generation will takes place.
    For your check point
in MIGO display mode at item level the PART 1 tab will not be appearing.
In such case you have to do GRN with No excise duty Tab
if the answer is helpful kindly assign points
    Thanks & Regards

  • Error occuring during excise inv creation.

    Dear sd gurus
Plz find the error as under.
"Error in allocating Excise invoice numb
    not found Number object J_1IEXCLOC"
I have maintined no range in J1I9.
Also I want to know the a/c effects while creation of excise inv. while utilization. while doing payment to excise authorities.
    Regards
    nitin

    Dear Vijay
Please let me know for which type of sales, you are trying to create excise invoice whether for domestic or for local.
For information, to maintain number ranges for excise invioces, you have to go to SNUM or SPRO and select any of the below objects required by you
    -  J_1IEXCEXP   if it is for Exports
    -  J_1IEXCLOC   if it is for Domestic
and select NUMBER RANGE on top. It will ask for "Series Group". Give the respective plant's series group and click "Change intervals".
Now give some value in the field "No" followed by year and number range and save.
    thanks
