Error in request oracle

Hello
I have a oracle database, and I have using netbeans to do a request to DB
my sintax is the following:

but I receive the following error :
java.sql.SQLException: ORA-12801: error se�alizado en el servidor P001 de consultas paralelas
ORA-12705: valor especificado del par�metro NLS desconocido o inv�lido
are there any difference in SQL PLUS and jdbc?

Instead of printing the exception, use the printStackTrace() method so that we can see exacly where the error occured.
I agree with bellyripper that you should be using a PreparedStatement and hesitate to point this out but...
If you are going to use Statement.executeQuery() then us the TO_DATE(<date string>, <format>) function in Oracle to convert you date string to an Oracle date and specify your specific format.
