Getting EQP-80407 & ORA-00918 error in SES query
Hi,
We are using SES to implement Third party search and created a new data source of type "Database" to crawl the external db. when we start the scheduler to crawl the db, getting the following error:

Here is the query used while creating the datasource:

We are using LAST_NAME column at diffrenet places in the query from S_CONTACT table using different joins. when I run the same query in SQL, not getting any error as we are using different join aliases.This is happening only when I use the same query to crawl the data in SES datasource.
Any help on this would be highly appreciated.Hi Roger,
Query format: SELECT * FROM (< your query >) WHERE KEY=<value>
Can you please tell me what could be the value for "KEY=<value>"
I have executed the query in SQL*Plus,as per the format as follows by passing sample row id of one record as KEY, but getting the Column ambiguity error.

Hi
When two line items in SES are having different commitment items for eg. One is having (30,3) combination and other one is having (60,3) combination, then system throws the error message u201CPosting not possible, incorrect financial transaction of the cmmt itemu201C and does not allow to post the SES.
When you select one line item and post, it gets saved, so individual line items get saved properly w/o error messages.
I think if individual line items gets saved then both line items should be saved in SES.
Regards
MitenHi raford,
Thanks for your reply.
We just provided the view name....and hence the DataBase source got created successfully.
Now we have two scenarios here
1)
DataBase source in SES with parameter value for URL Prefix : http://<SES-Hostname>
Now when we searched for content... The SES gets us the results....
However when we clicked on the searched result(which is http://<SES-HostName>:<SES-port>/search/query/redirect.jsp?qid=161&did=2001&pos=1&idx=1&fid=)...it says cannot find server...but when i click on cached link(which is http://devilrays.appsassociates.com:7782/search/query/cache.jsp?id=2001&q=row3&fid=)... i could see the whole content.
2)
DataBase source in SES with parameter value for URL Prefix : http://<SES-Hostname>:<SES-Port>
Now when we searched for content... The SES gets us the results....
However when we clicked on the searched result(which is http://<SES-Hostname>:<SES-Port>/search/query/redirect.jsp?qid=151&did=1901&pos=1&idx=1&fid=)...it says HTTP 404 not found...but when i click on cached link(which is http://devilrays.appsassociates.com:7782/search/query/cache.jsp?id=1901&q=row3&fid=)... i[b] could see the whole content.
Are there any changes i need to do so that when i click on search result... it gets me the content.
Thanks

Error during creation of application entity for the plug-in.
Hi Experts,
As part of creating Content Database source for SES....
We,
1 Activated the Oracle Internet Directory identity plug-in for the Oracle Content
Database instance.
2) However after activating Identity plug-in for Oracle Internet Directory.... ......... we used the csPlugin.ldif file to create an application entity for the plug-in by running the following command "$ORACLE_HOME/bin/ldapmodify -h oidHost -p OIDPortNumber -D "cn=oracle" -w password -f csPlugin.ldif" ....but in the process executing the above command.... getting the following error(we gave correct login details):
SASL/DIGEST-MD5 authentication started
ldap_sasl_interactive_bind_s: Invalid credentials (49)
How can i resolve this.
I have another query...in the command "$ORACLE_HOME/bin/ldapmodify -h oidHost -p OIDPortNumber -D "cn=oracle" -w password -f csPlugin.ldif" which user name should i specify..... is it "cn=oracle" or "cn=orcladmin"
Thanks
peter.Hi Raford,

We have followed the installation details provided in "SESAdmiistratorGuide".
In that guide.... during creation of Content Database source he did not mention any entry for "SES keystore location", and the exception which we are getting is related to "SES keystore location: null" (please look into the exception stack).
could you please guide us.

Large Attachment Feeding Problem
Hi,
This is related to feeding large size documents to SES. By large size I mean documents having size of the order of 70 MB to 100 MB.
When I submit a document of such a large size to SES after setting the contents of the document using submitForProcessing(DocumentContainer target) I get an OutOfMemory Error from SES for this particular method call.
Is it a limitation of SES or am I not doing everything right?
Need comments.
Regards,
ShaktiHi Rishi,
Thanks for your quick and precise reply.
The bigger concern here of the two is large number of readers being submitted to SES.
You are quite right here in stating that while crawling n number of docs, similar objects will be created for all the n docs on SES side. We have done our best to optimize the code for memory scale up.
I have two scenarios for my custom crawler:
1. I was able to successfully crawl 100k docs when number of users (readers) for each doc was very few (to be exact it was only 3).
2. When I performed the crawl with my custom crawler for same number of docs but number of users for each doc raised to 1k (1000) I got an Out of Memory error at the point in the code where I submit the users list to SES using addPrincipal( , , ) method defined for the interface DocumentAcl. The interesting observation was, in this scenario I was able to crawl only 48 docs and then Out of Memory Error.
Code Snippet:
//objDocAcl is an instance of DocumentAcl
//acl_attrib is the format of the principal entry and its value here is samAccountName for //MS Active Directory which is configured as id plugin here
for (int count = 0; count < readersList.length; count++) {
reader = readersList[count];
try {
if (reader != null && acl_attrib != null) {
// This is the line of code where I get OOM Error
objDocAcl.addPrincipal(reader, acl_attrib,DocumentAcl.USER);
} catch (ProcessingException exception) {
logger.info(iaSpecificProps.getString("Exception")
+exception.getMessage());
reader = null;
Need your inputs.

# vim:set ft=sh
# MODULES
# The following modules are loaded before any boot hooks are
# run. Advanced users may wish to specify all system modules
# in this array. For instance:
# MODULES="piix ide_disk reiserfs"
MODULES=""
# BINARIES
# This setting includes any additional binaries a given user may
# wish into the CPIO image. This is run first, so it may be used to
# override the actual binaries used in a given hook.
# (Existing files are NOT overwritten if already added)
# BINARIES are dependency parsed, so you may safely ignore libraries
BINARIES=""
# FILES
# This setting is similar to BINARIES above, however, files are added
# as-is and are not parsed in any way. This is useful for config files.
# Some users may wish to include modprobe.conf for custom module options
# like so:
# FILES="/etc/modprobe.d/modprobe.conf"
FILES=""
# HOOKS
# This is the most important setting in this file. The HOOKS control the
# modules and scripts added to the image, and what happens at boot time.
# Order is important, and it is recommended that you do not change the
# order in which HOOKS are added. Run 'mkinitcpio -H <hook name>' for
# help on a given hook.
# 'base' is _required_ unless you know precisely what you are doing.
# 'udev' is _required_ in order to automatically load modules
# 'filesystems' is _required_ unless you specify your fs modules in MODULES
# Examples:
## This setup specifies all modules in the MODULES setting above.
## No raid, lvm2, or encrypted root is needed.
# HOOKS="base"
## This setup will autodetect all modules for your system and should
## work as a sane default
# HOOKS="base udev autodetect pata scsi sata filesystems"
## This is identical to the above, except the old ide subsystem is
## used for IDE devices instead of the new pata subsystem.
# HOOKS="base udev autodetect ide scsi sata filesystems"
## This setup will generate a 'full' image which supports most systems.
## No autodetection is done.
# HOOKS="base udev pata scsi sata usb filesystems"
## This setup assembles a pata raid array with an encrypted root FS.
## Note: See 'mkinitcpio -H raid' for more information on raid devices.
# HOOKS="base udev pata raid encrypt filesystems"
## This setup loads an lvm2 volume group on a usb device.
# HOOKS="base udev usb lvm2 filesystems"
HOOKS="base udev autodetect pata scsi sata filesystems"
# COMPRESSION
# Use this to compress the initramfs image. With kernels earlier than
# 2.6.30, only gzip is supported, which is also the default. Newer kernels
# support gzip, bzip2 and lzma. Kernels 2.6.38 and later support xz
# compression.
#COMPRESSION="gzip"
#COMPRESSION="bzip2"
#COMPRESSION="lzma"
#COMPRESSION="xz"
# COMPRESSION_OPTIONS
# Additional options for the compressor
#COMPRESSION_OPTIONS=""
Here is the output from running mkinitcpio command:
==> Building image "default"
==> Running command: /sbin/mkinitcpio -v -k 2.6.39-ARCH -c /etc/mkinitcpio.conf -g /boot/kernel26.img

Hi Gurus,
While creating SES sheet, after entering the PO and period details, we are encountering the error message " Error in account coding allocation".
We had checked the PO and the account details were picked correctly. could you please suggest what exactly the problem is??
Regards,
Subramnayam.JupudiCheck account assignment in PO at service item level whether it is deleted or not. Such problems are generally happens because of deletion indicator marked at account assignment level of service item.
Hope this will solve your query.

Error in account coding allocation Message no. SE508 in creation of SES
Hello guys, merry christmas.
We are creating a Service Entry Sheet (SES) from the transaction ML81N in reference to a Purchase Order. After selecting the service position 1 through the button Serv. Selection system gives the following message error: u201CError in account coding llocation - Message no. SE508u201D
The error happened last December 2008 and March 2009 and opened an OSS note, SAP have answered that there is an inconsistency in the table ESKL, for it sent me a program that detects the inconsistency in the table and whitens the "LOEKZ" generated by the inconsistency and the program corrects the inconsistency.
Were checked SAP OSS notes: 666314, 611563, 1087090 and 809317 and all are referring to that error occurs when the user exit has activated EXIT_SAPLMLSK_001, but not our case since we do not have activated.
I have OSS and open many messages like can not see the inconsistency of the table. I even made the same steps of the users and do not generate the error. We are seeing the error is random. These are the steps involving the process:
1. Go to ML81N
2. PO = 470000XXXX, item 1.
3. Posting XX.XX.2009
4. Push the botom Serv. Selection
5. Select line 1
6. Push botom Services
Appers the error "Error in account coding allocation"
Error Message Number: SE508
Transaction: ML81N
Tables: EKPO, ESLL, ESKL
I wonder if anyone has had this error on your system.
Our SAP version is 4.7 Enteprise ext. 200 Win / Ora.
I appreciate any help I can guide
Desirée C.
Happy New Year 2010 !Please read the FUNCTIONALITY written by SAP on EXIT_SAPLMLSK_001,especially one marked in BOLD letter,By applying the NOTES corrections ,definately if it's EXIT is not active it will not impact your existing system,if it's active it may rectify the error you are getting

Dear All,
I m in ECC6.While Revkoing a SES I m getting following Error
M8 147 Account determination for entry 9000 KBS 0001 not possible
As far as KBS is concerned Automatic A/C Assignment isn't possible.
I got the OSS Note of Below.It has been implement already in my support Package. OSS Note 989598
Has Anybody done this ??Hi,
You have an entry missing in the auto account determination.
Use the error message to guide you to the entry (click on the error message and you will get the long text message, at the bottom of this is a proceed link that takes you to the config transaction.
Use the full detail that the message gioves you to check for the entry.
It will give you the Chanrt of Accounts, transaction event key, Valuation area group, Valuation class etc.
Just make sure that you have specified a GL account number for the combination that is listed in the error.

Service Entry Sheet (SES) Error
Dears,
We have 1 line item and 4 sub services in PO. We created SES for the first 3 items. Now the 4th service is completed, when we are creating the SES, it is asking for price (although the price is available in the PO). Even though when we enter the price it is not accepting. What is the problem and how to solve this. Any suggestion will be appreciated.Hi
First check the qty and price mainatained in PO.
And ensure the service entry has not been made for the item (qty and value still available)
While entering SES select service selection option is there in the bottom of the screen. In this enter PO number and select and adopt.
So that qty and price will be adopted from the PO.
Still it is showing error, then check ML33 or ML 39 or ML45 and ensure conditions maintained with validity period or not?
If the validity period ends the price u maintained in the PO will not be picked during SES.
Check it out.

Error Log in Acceptance Posting : Service Entry Sheet (SES)
Dear all,
During acceptance of SES, i encountered the error message below:
RC= 3 F5 672 G/L Account <company code> 280000 not consistent.
Using the error message id, i manage to trace it down to a standard FI substitution rule LFACIF02. Whereby, it needs the G/L account 280000 master data to have this field "only balances in local currency" tick / selected. (tcode FS00, tab Control Data)
Now, i am pretty confuse with this finding -- what does this field actually do ?
The framework order PO created holds the similar currency as the G/L account's currency. I read the help info via F1, but don't understand why, when the field is untick, it will lead to the error message above.
Appreciate it you could shed some lights on this matter. Thanks in advance.Hi,
Use T.code:FS00 and check G/L account 280000 is there in your company code or not.
If yes, check its nature(type/description,control data , cretae bank/intererst tabs)of G/L
NOTE: Also check and compare the field selection between Movement type 101 & your G/L account 280000 in SE38 t.code with Program RM07CUFA

Error during DataBase source creation in SES.
Hi Experts,
As part of creating DataBase source for SES...
We created a table testing_data_for_ses(URL,CONTENT,LASTMODIFIEDDATE,KEY,LANG)
and also the view
create or replace view view_testing_data_for_ses AS
SELECT 'docserver?docid=' || URL URL,
CONTENT CONTENT,
lastmodifieddate lastmodifieddate,
KEY KEY,
'en' LANG
FROM testing_data_for_ses;
Finally we tried to create DataBase source in SES with following parameter names and values
Database Connection String: jdbc:oracle:thin:@<systemIP>:<port>:<SID>
User ID : apps
Password : apps
View : view_testing_data_for_ses
Document Count : -1
Query : select content from testing_data_for_ses
URL Prefix : http://<SES-Hostname>:<SES-Port>
However in this process we ended up with following Error:

Are we specifying any wrong parameter values.
Thanks
parker.Hi raford,
Thanks for your reply.
Thanks

Delete invoice for Service PO's where SES is not created - MR8M gives error
Members,
I have a strange situation at my client. They have created a service PO with S-based IV checked on the Invoice tab of PO. There is no Goods Receipt checked in the Delivey tab of the PO. They did not create any Service Entry Sheet (SES) for the service line items in the PO.
At the time of invoicing using MIRO, the user invoiced against the PO reference as there was no SES reference (because SES was not created). User now wants to reverse this MIRO because he made some mistake.
I tried reversing the invoice document using MR8M but it's giving error - "Invoice document 5105613514 cannot be processed further / Message no. M8422". In the possible causes, the error message explains that the corresponding service entry sheet may have been deleted. I strongly suspect this is the cause of getting this error - because since the SES was not created in the first place and as this is a service PO with S-based IV checked, SAP is looking for SES.
Now my dilemma is how to cancel this incorrectly entered invoice using MIRO? What are the options that I have - a credit memo? a subsequent Credit? or some program to be executed? Please share your ideas/ experience in solving this issue.
Thanks,
carHi,
Add one more service line in the Service tab of the PO and order it (restrict it to Print if in Production).
Now goto MR8M and cancel the old Invoice. (Folow instruction to delete line items under vendor through F-44)
Come back and deltete the newely added service line from the PO.
Flag the GR and GRbased IV indicators (as the Sr Based IV is greyed out) and order the PO (restrict it to Print if in Production).
The next time you will have to first do the Service Entry before doing the Invoice.
regards,
MRao -
Runtime error in MIRO posting invoice for SES's created in CATS
Hi Gurus,
We are having an issue when posting invoices in MIRO referred to SES created in CATS.
It always took much longer the system to process those SES created via CATS than those from the standard MM (ML81...) but the situation today is so critical that we can not pay the vendors for which SES are created via CATS. Runtime error is obtained when trying to post a SES for 900$ value.
This problem does not happen in our integrating/testing system.
Do you have any idea why this is happening?
thanks to everyone in advance,
VLHi,
have you searched for notes with the runtime error details?
Has also a short dump occured (transaction ST22) ? Please give more detail information.
Regards,

I have checked the required entries in integrationGateway.properties files for proxy server.
Also have checked the userid:pwd entered in Proxy-Authorization property for HTTPTARGET connector ID.
I have restarted the servers and machines as well but still the same error.
Kindly help me ?RCC wrote:
I agree with Hakan, sounds like your problem is getting to the proxy.
Is the SES server on the same network as PS? Or is it really somewhere else? Is this some kind of home setup since you are running PS on Win 7? If SES is on the same network as PS, I would drop the proxy config and test that way first. Get it working without the extra complexity, then add in Proxy. You can test connectivity from PS to SES with telnet or just browsing to SES.
Thanks for the response RCC.
The PS is a Demo Instance being used for study purpose. Both the machines are on the same network.
I tried the ping after removing the entries in integrationGateway.properties files for proxy server and it worked.
Ping, Test Login and Validate are successful.
I get the following error when I check Proxy Login.
Proxy login failed : Invalid credentials for the federation entity (262,1317) (262,1318)
I have created Federation Trusted Entity key by the name HCM92 on Oracle SES side and am using the same ID and password in the Query Service Credentials on the Search Instance Properties Page.
I was not getting any error in any log file related to this.
Kindly help.
