Hi,
I think that the error is raised somewhere in your start routine. Check the coding and the condition for which the error is raised. May be you need to correct your coding may be you need to correct your data.

A similar thing happened when I updated the ios on my ipad. But, I was able to reboot, and then restore from backup.   How can I get my ipod to reboot and allow restore when it is not even recognized as I reconnect to my computer?

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I tried using the downloaded update. It still didn't work but at least I did not have to restart my computer. The message was a little different too: "The installation failed. The Installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance."

Run through this list of fixes, either something is corrupted or you have malware that's blocking the update.

Make sure to backup your users files to a external storage drive first (not only TimeMachine as it may fail to restore) and disconnect, because if' it's a drive corruption/failing then the entire thing will either have to be replaced or a wipe and install done.

Application Updater - Error downloading the update. Error# 16824

Hi,
Relitivly new to FB 4.5 and Flex. I inherted a Flex project and am now trying to get it to automatically update the application.
I have searched and read many threads that have this error and they all seem to be talking about going from one sdk version to another.
I have only used http://ns.adobe.com/air/application/2.6, no other version.
I got it to check and report a new version by using 2.5 in the update xml, then I hit download and the status bar completes, then I get the error:
There was an error downloading the update. Error# 16824
If I change the update.xml to: <update xmlns="http://ns.adobe.com/air/framework/update/description/2.6"> Which you think would work I get the error:
There was an error checking for the update. Error# 16815
I am lost. Does anybody have a solution for this?

Hi, I'm trying to do a software update for iTunes and I got this error message: "The update “iTunes” can’t be installed". It then said that it could not be verified. Any ideas why and how do I get around it?

With that one, I'd try updating using a .dmg installer downloaded from the Apple Website:

If you are having an issue with updating your iPhone, try it through a different method like in iTunes or through software update on your iPhone in settings. If that does not work then follow the steps in the article below to force a restore on your iPhone. Make sure to back up first and you can always restore from that back up once your iPhone is up to date. The second article will assist you with the back up and restore process.

You already appear to be running the latest Firefox 7.0.1 version, so there should be no need to update.

I installed iOS5 last night and was having the same problems described above with my iPad 1 32 GB + 3G. Unknown Error (1) and was unable to restore.
I took my ipad to the local Apple Store today and was told by the genius that it was a hardware issue, and because the warranty had expired, there was nothing the Store could do. He suggested that I try calling AppleCare. Then I asked to speak with a manager. He apologized again and said there was just nothing the Store could do. I was close to leaving, when I asked a second time if it would be possible to see a Manager.
After asking a second time, he called a manager. After explaining my issue to her, she immediately authorized him to give me a new iPad ! Anyone with this problem should definitely go to the store and be polite but adamant. You should get a new iPad.

I added a BUOM Unit for a keyfigure and activated the cube.While I am activating the update rules it shows the error message unit for the Keyfigure is not recognized in the update rules . Kindly let me Know what i need to do for this error.

Make sure that the mapping for the unit of your KF is also selected in update rule.

Installing kb2992611 - error message "the update is not applicable".

Hi,
When installing offline patch for kb2992611 on my windows server 2008 R2 enterprise server, I get the error message stating that the update is not applicable to my computer.
On another windows server 2008 R2 enterprise server I am able to install this patch successfully.
Anyone have an idea as to what I should do?

The kb2992611 system require is Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1, you must install service pack 1 first, if you can not install SP1 due to application limit, you can disable the
TLS 1.2 and choose others version of TLS.

Rule incorrect error in the update rule of standard infocube

In the standard Appraisal infocube(BW 3.X)
i have added a new keyfigure field and written a rule in the update rule to populate datas. whn i checked for sytax errors, saved and return to the update rule screen it displays a red status for tht keyfigure. when i place the cursor on tht traffic light it show the tip as 'Rule Incorrect'
wht may be the reason.
do any one have ideas abt this.

Actually iam not mapping this field to any of the field from datasource. i am populating data thru rule based upon the characteristic fields of the datasource.
r u suggesting to add the field in transfer structure level and write a transfer rule. how to add a new field in the transfer structure.

Thanks for the info about Trojan. It may be the problem. Meanwhile I went to Admin/Owner side and did some cleaning -- including trying to reload my Favorite/Bookmarks that have always carried forth from previous levels of Windows XP and earlier.
The new computer here did not grab the Bookmarks from the previous, and yesterday I thought I had them loaded, and today went to Worker-Bee side and they are not showing.
About those add-ons... I have no idea, but think I got everything up to date yesterday. I will look at your earlier reply tomorrow or this weekend when I have more time at home to learn from it.

I have been trying to update CS5 which is prompting me an error message within the Adobe Application Manager; the error message is "There was an error downloading this update. Please quit and try again later". This has happened numerous times now. How do I update my products and get around this error?
