Error Message : Drop-reason: (ipsec-spoof) IPSEC Spoof detected

Hi,
When i run a Packet tracer in PIX, getting a below output:
Result:
input-interface: outside_interface
input-status: up
input-line-status: up
output-interface: mpls_interface
output-status: up
output-line-status: up
Action: drop
Drop-reason: (ipsec-spoof) IPSEC Spoof detected
Please help me to fix this issue.

Hi,
To my understanding you are trying to emulate VPN/Encrypted traffic from the PIX firewalls outside interface and therefore the PIX drops the traffic (because its supposed to be encrypted traffic arriving on a VPN connection to the PIX)
If you are testing a L2L VPN connection on the PIX, do the test in the other direction. From IN -> OUT
This should already bring the VPN tunnel up even though no actual traffic is generated to the tunnel.

    Hello Ajeet,
When domains configuration are set up such that they send the request to each other for a service but the service is unavailable/down
it is possible that they will loop continuously until a maximum action table error occurs. The TM_GWT_REQ_MAXHOPS environment varialbe
was added to limit this looping and report the LIBGW_CAT:1000 error. Because the LIBGW_CAT:1000 message is not informative enough
the TM_GWT_MAXRETRY_REASON environment variable was added to send the LIBGW_CAT:5382 message to the ulog when the LIBGW_CAT:1000 occurs.
In your case check that the application server for the OutFixRtrs service was running and the service was available in any of the domains for which it is configured.

  • ITunes unable to recognize iPod, error message along the lines if "iTunes has detected an iPod but unable to recognise" I have followed all the trouble shooting tips and am still stuck? I am now being told by a friend I need a link sent to me to fix this

My iTunes installed on my HP Windows 8 Netbook is unable to recognize my iPod, the error message along the lines of "iTunes has detected an iPod but unable to recognise"
I have followed all the trouble shooting tips and am still stuck? I am now being told by a friend I need a link sent to me to fix this??
Someone please help me fix this problem.
    Many thanks.
    Matt.

    Hi
So just close iTunes and re-open iTunes thats it and that worked for you?
When you say reset your settings do you mean to factory settings? As my iPod was swapped at the store for a new one and the problem is still there...
    Thanks.

new error message: "printhead appears to be missing, not detected, incorrectly installed or incompatible". I already tried restarting several times and have uninstalled and reinstalled all of the ink cartridges. Still receive same error mesage.

    Hey walter,
I would advise performing the steps in the document linked below that addresses the printhead failure message you are receiving in this printer model.  Let me know how these steps go.

iOS: Troubleshooting update and restore issues
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1275
Follow these steps if you receive an error or alert message when attempting to update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch using iTunes.
Using these steps, you can resolve most restore errors on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch:
Install the latest version of iTunes.
Verify that your computer operating system is up to date. If an update requires a restart, check for updates again after restarting.
On a Mac: In the Apple () menu, choose Software Update. Install all available updates.
On a Windows PC: Go to the Microsoft Windows Update page.
Check your security software: Note: Most restore issues are caused by out-of-date or incorrectly configured security software, firewalls, and network router settings or firmware.
Isolate the issue to third-party software.
    Update security software.
    Properly configure your security software.
Temporarily disable or uninstall your security software.
Temporarily remove any unnecessary USB devices, leaving only your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, the USB cable that came with your device, and a keyboard and mouse, if necessary.
Restart your computer and try again.
    Hope this helps ...

  • Photosmart C4580 All-In-One - Error Message: Print Cartridge(s) missing or not detected

    Hi
I have recently encountered a problem with my printer.
I went to print a document and the following error message was displayed on the printer "Print Cartridge(s) missing or not detected", and the document would not print.
I am unsure as to why this message was displayed as I had not changed anything to do with the printer.
The cartridges that were in the printer had been in the printer since October so I thought that it could be due to the cartridges needing to be replaced, therefore, I changed the black ink cartridge. Once the cartridge had been replaced the error message disappeared and the document printed.
However, I went to print another document shortly after and the error message reappeared and the document would not print.
Due to the fact that changing the black cartridge cleared the error message, I replaced the colour cartridge, however, this did not cure the error message this time.
I have followed all of the advice on the HP support pages about cleaning the contacts etc, however, it has not worked. I have also contacted the support team by Email, but have had no reply.
Does anyone know how to cure the problem, or if in fact it can be cured. I am a university student and desperately need the use of my printer, so any help would be appreciated.

    Hi
Yes it did get resolved in the end.
It seems that the fault came from using remanufactured or re-filled cartridges.
I had to replace both of the cartridges so that they were genuine HP cartridges.
Originally I only replaced the one that was causing the problem, but in the end I had to replace both of them. This then resolved the problem immediately.
    I hope this helps.
If not, I would advise contacting the HP support team as when they finally replied to my email they were very helpful and quick to reply to queries and offer advice and suggestions.

  • Qosmio G20 error message: problem with cooling system has been detected

I am attempting to fix a Qosmio G20 (which is about 3 years old, so no longer in warranty).
The error message is: Warning: A problem with the cooling system has been detected.
I have managed to remove the outer case and observe the machine working, and basically one of the fans is not operating at all. The fan which is nearest to the power connector seems to be working fine (it seems to spin quite a lot, dont know if this is normal), it is the other fan which does not seem to move at all.
When I reattached the case and switched the machine on I noticed after a few minutes that the heatsink vent of the working fan got quite warm, whereas the vent of the non-working fan stayed cool.
I have cleaned the fan of dust and have also altered the BIOS to battery mode from high performance mode, but still the problem exists.
I would be grateful if someone could advise whether the problem is the fan or something else.
If the fan is the problem, where can I buy one from (I live in the UK)?

    Hi
In my opinion there could be something wrong with the cooling module and the replacement would be necessary.
Usually this should be done by an authorized service provider (ASP) in your country.
The technicians could replace it with a new part and also could renew the thermal grease which is placed between the cooling module and CPU.
Therefore contact the ASP in your country and ask for the further handling!!!
By the way; you can purchase the cooling module also from the ASP!!!
    Good luck

  • I tried to restored my iPad1's iOS5 to factory setting. There are error messages. Now my iTunes could not detect my iPad anymore. How can I proceed from here?

    Hi All,
I have problems with iOS5 installed on my iPad1.
After successfully installing the new iOS5, my iPad1 apps are jumbled up with my wife's apps.  Some of my paid apps are missing.
So, i tried to restore to factory default.  Now, my iTunes could not detect my iPad, and my iPad only shows the picture "to connect iPad to iTunes".
I restarted my iMac and checked that all softwares are up to date.
    Please advise.
    Many thanks.

If you restored from a backup, you simply restored the corrupt files again.
You could find the corrupt file through a slow process of eliminating apps and data - removing all content - and then syncing content back again - slowly adding apps back on - until the problem surfaces again - and the you could pin down the last apps or apps that you just added as being the problem apps/files. You may find the corrupt file - and you may not.
Your backups can be deleted by going to iTunes on you computer and go to Edit>Preferences>Devices. You will see your backups/backups in that window. Click on the backup and then click on delete backup - if that is what you really want to do.

  • Itunes selectively copying my videos, no error message

I have a dvd rip (made off the originals myself), from which I copied several choice scenes to my hard drive using virtualdub. Each of these clips I converted in videora and they all open on my PC fine -- so to this point they are all from the same source and have gone through the same processing
However, when I dragged them all onto my ipod in itunes, it only copied some of them. If I try and drag the others into itunes, it doesn't do anything. No error message or reason as to why itunes doesn't like these files. Is there another way of putting stuff onto my ipod that will give an clear error message?

"File -> Add file to library" produced the same resilt, but "File -> Import" finally gave me an error message
"The file sw2.mp4 cannot be imported because An unknown error occured (-50)"
I googled the error and came up with a few results, including a lengthy discussion here: http://forums.ipodlounge.com/showthread.php?s=5473062b81ca1de4c484f8666d181446&t hreadid=26872&perpage=15&pagenumber=1, but there seems to be no concrete solution.

  • Error message when capturing......

A very recent problem: during my last two capturing attempts the error message "dropped frames were detected during your last capturing attempt" has appeared. The tape then stops and the capture vanishes.
This is very strange and has not happened previously. i have also noticed that the tape itself 'stops and starts' as a cd would if it was scratched... however when i play the tape back just on the dv cam there is no problem at all...
Does anyone have an explanation? I have no clue and need to capture these tapes
    Thanks,
    Ed

Timecode is like a heart beat when capturing. A nice steady rythym is required for best results. If a few beats are messed up you know about it.
A Reset Timecode break is where you hit the record button on your camera to a part of the tape (past the last recorded TC) that has no continuous timecode on it. The camera thinks it's a new tape and the TC reads 00:00:00:00 and starts counting. If this happens you have two sets of identical numbers. That's going to make things confusing unless there is a workaround.
Another type of break is called an Ordered break.
This is where two numbers are duplicated, it's hard to find manually.
How does it occur. It can happen if you review a tape and even though there is continuous code for the camera to Jam Sync and start reading it goofs up a bit and two numbers are the same, eg. 00:01:12:13 and 00:01:12:13 DV is prone to this sometimes but not always.
FCE is really looking for 1, 2, 3, and so on, no breaks or duplications.
    Hope this was not confusing.
    Al

  • Spaces versus Error Messages..

I've got a small problem when using spaces: if an app throws an error when it's in a different space (say, Mail.app needs a password and is spinning its wheels waiting), when you switch to that space the error message drops behind the main window and you cannot access it. Clicking the main visible window of course just produces the error sound. Any way around this besides force quitting?
    just wondering....

I can help with this one - the component is mine. It was discussed in this thread: Re: "documents folder" on UCM size limit feature
The error is raised via an exception:
    throw new ServiceException(msg);
(where msg contains the text of the exception, something like: Folder UCM 11g Manuals Quota Violation Used:72.0MB Max:72.0MB File: 15.0KB)
In UCM the check is bound to a check-in filter, which prevents check-in should the quota be exceeded.
My guess is that either Document Management task flow, or WebCenter Framework has its own exception-handling mechanism, which replaces the text from the UCM component.

  • T61 - Blue screen error message (nv4_disp) - Now computer won't even start!

Hi I have a Lenovo T61 (Type: 7662-CTO) Windows XP.
A couple days ago, all of sudden my screen turned in a yellowish hue, started flickering intensely and froze; I had to manually shut it off (by pushing the power button).
Next day, I started my computer and it worked fine until I had the exact same flickering and freezing issue, but this time, the screen didn't turn in a yellowish hue. Once again, I manually shut it off and went to bed.
This morning, however, when I started my computer, my screen went totally blank, though I could hear my computer running. I hooked it up to my TV to see if anything comes up and that's when I got this blue screen of error message.
    It says:
     ================================================================================
Problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.
Problem seems to be caused by the following file: nv4_disp
If this is the first time you’ve seen this stop error screen, restart your computer.
If this screen appears again, follow these steps:
The device driver got stuck in an infinite loop. This usually indicates problem with the device itself or with the device driver programming the hardware incorrectly.
Please check with your hardware device vendor for any driver updates.

    nv4_disp
    beginning dump of physical memory
    physical memory dump complete.
contact your system administrator or technical support group for further assistance.
    ==================================================================================
It would show this blue screen very briefly and rebooted by itself (without letting me log in windows), so I had to once again manually shut it off.
I thought perhaps cleaning a fan might help, so I opened up my laptop, cleaned the fan, keyboard, palm rest etc and assembled it back together.
When I turned on my computer, now I'm getting NOTHING. Not even a blue screen. Computer would start, but very briefly after (just a few seconds after), it would just shut it off by itself.
Someone please tell me what's wrong with my computer and if I can revive it at all.
Also, would you recommend me to bring it to the local Lenovo repair center (http://bplocator.lenovo.com/)?
Thanks so much for reading a long message.

Have you tried updating your graphics driver?
Error message in Windows XP: "STOP 0x000000EA THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER"
You can find the latest driver for your system here. Another option would be to run ThinkVantage System Update, which is hopefully on your system, if not you can find it here.
I'm not saying this is the solution or ruling out a hardware problem, (which the flickering suggests), but it's a good place to start

  • Error Message when launching iTunes

I can't launch iTunes anymore - yesterday it worked fine. I get an error message <<iTunes cannot run because it has detected a problem with your audio configuration>>. I have de-installed and then reinstalled iTunes on my PC but it makes no difference. Any advice? Thanks!

  • Itunes audio error message on loading iTune

I keep getting the following error message when I open iTunes "iTunes has detected a problem with your audio configuration. Audio / video playback may not operate properly"
Sure enough audio playback is not working. I have reloaded iTunes 8 using the repair function but no change. Anyone any ideas

    Hello all.
Below is some information that may assist
    1. Go to Control Panel
    2. Now go to Add/Remove Programs or Programs and Features if it is Vista
    3. Uninstall anything called Quicktime made by Apple. If you happen to see Quick Time Alternative you will need to uninstall this as well.
*Even though it may not tell you. I advise a reboot once this is finished. Now proceed to the link below to download the Quicktime Standalone
    http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/
Make sure to download the Standalone version. Not the iTunes+Quicktime
Once this is done. Then attempt to launch iTunes. If you continue to get the same message try the following
-Full basic Uninstall of Apple Software
    1. Go to Control Panel
    2. Now go to Add/Remove Programs or Programs and Features if it is Vista
*Uninstall in the following order if possible as this will decrease amount of reboots needed
    -Apple Mobile Device Support
    -Apple Software Updates
    -Bonjour
    -Windows iPod Updaters
    -Mobile Me Pref
    -Quicktime
    -iTunes
*Reboot and then download and install iTunes+Quicktime
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
If none of those first 2 phases work. Try the last option down below. A little more in depth but this is a full cleanup of all Apple files and folders and programs.
