Error message issue
Wondering if anyone has ever seen a message that states the disc cannot be burned because the device failed to calibrate the laser power level for this media.
I have been trying to burn a DVD through iDVD and buy putting in a blank DVd and dragging files onto it and it still won't burn. What can I do to remedy this problem?
thanks
I would try using a Cleaning CD/DVD disk.
4. I dragged over a .Mov file. Now the photo I used for the background was shot in RAW but I scaled it down when I exported it from Aperture. The audio is mp3.
I would convert the Raw picture to .jpg
I would convert the .mp3 audio to .aiff 48kHz 16-bit

Net Protect Plus Error Message Issue
Guys I am a BT employee anf get option 3 so I have Net Protect Plus.
It shows all the boxes green with a green tick.
I got a message tonight saying you need to do a scan so I tried and no matter what type of Scan I try I get
an error meeage in a red notification box.
"An unexpected problem occured during your Scan
Please click OK to go back to the Home page, and then try running your scan again."
As I said this is for Quick, Full or Custom Scans.
Any Ideas?
I have verified subscription and that is fine.
Window 7 computer (no other issues)My advice and that of others on the forum would be to uninstall BTNetprotect. It can cause problems on some computers and is a resource hog. Do a search of the forum to see the problems. There are far better free antivirus programs available such as Avast Free and AVG Free.
If you do want to uninstall BTNetprotect use this guide and make sure you use the BTNetprotect/McAfee removal tool after you have restarted your computer.

If you do want to re use BT Netprotect, uninstall it using this guide along with the BTNetprotect/McAfee removal tool after a restart and then reinstall. This might resolve your problem.

How to show a database trigger error message as a notification on a page
I have a database with database triggers to ensure data integrity.
If an insert or update does not comply to all the business rules, a database triggers raises an exception. When using Apex this exception is caught in the Error Screen, a separate screen, where the whole error stack is displayed.
Does anyone know a way to display only the error in RAISE_APPLICATION_ERROR as a notification in the screen from which the transaction was initiated?
Dik DralWell, having had so little response, i had to figure it out myself ;-)
Using Patrick Wolff's ideas from ApexLib I 'invented' a solution for my problem, that I would like to contribute to the community. I hope that it will come out a bit nicely formatted:
Apex: Show Database Error Message in calling form
The purpose is to show a neat error message in the notification area of the calling form.
Default Apex show the whole error stack raised by a DB trigger in a separate error page.
With acknowledgement to Patrick Wolf, I lent parts of his ApexLIB code to create this solution.
<br./>
Assumptions
<ul><li>The error message is raised from a DB trigger using RAISE_APPLICATION_ERROR(-20000,’errormessagetext’).</li>
<li>The relevant part of the error stack is contained within the strings ‘ORA-20000’ and the next ‘ORA-‘-string, i.e. if the error stack is ‘ORA-20000 Value should not be null ORA-6502 …’, than the relevant string is ‘Value should not be null’ .</li>
<li>Cookies are enabled on the browser of the user </li>
</ul>
Explanation
The solution relies heavily on the use of Javascript. On the template of the error page Javascript is added to identify the error stack and to extract the relevant error message. This message is written to a cookie, and then the control is passed back to the calling page (equal to pushing the Back button).
In the calling page a Javascript onLoad process is added. This process determines whether an error message has been written to a cookie. If so the error message is formatted as an error and written to the notification area.
Implementation
The solution redefines two template pages, the two level tab (default page template) and the one level tab (error page template).
Javascript is added to implement the solution. This Javascript is contained in a small library errorHandling.js:
<pre>
var vIndicator = "ApexErrorStack=";
function writeMessage(vMessage)
{ document.cookie = vIndicator+vMessage+';';
function readMessage()
{ var vCookieList = document.cookie;
var vErrorStack = null;
var vStart = null;
var vEnd = null;
var vPos = null;
vPos = vCookieList.indexOf(vIndicator);
// No cookie found?
if (vPos == -1) return("empty");
vStart = vPos + vIndicator.length;
vEnd = vCookieList.indexOf(";", vStart);
if (vEnd == -1) vEnd = vCookieList.length;
vErrorStack = vCookieList.substring(vStart, vEnd);
vErrorStack = decodeURIComponent(vErrorStack);
// remove the cookie
document.cookie = vIndicator+"; max-age=0";
return(vErrorStack);
function getElementsByClass2(searchClass,node,tag)
var classElements = new Array();
if ( node == null )
node = document;
if ( tag == null )
tag = '*';
var els = node.getElementsByTagName(tag);
var elsLen = els.length;
var pattern = newRegExp('(^|\\s)'+searchClass+'(\\s|$)');
for (i = 0, j = 0; i < elsLen; i++) {
if ( pattern.test(els.className) ) {
classElements[j] = els[i];
j++;
return classElements;
function processErrorText()
var errorElements = new Array();
errorElements = getElementsByClass2("ErrorPageMessage",document,"div");
if (errorElements.length > 0 )
{ errorText = errorElements[0].innerHTML;
errorText = errorText.substr(errorText.indexOf("ORA-20000")+ 11);
errorText = errorText.substr(0,errorText.indexOf("ORA")-1);
// errorElements[0].innerHTML = errorText;
writeMessage(errorText);
function show_message()
{ var vCookieList = document.cookie;
var vErrorStack = null;
var vErrorName = null;
var vErrorMessage = null;
var vStart = null;
var vEnd = null;
var vPos = null;
// get errorStack
vErrorStack = readMessage();
if (vErrorStack == -1) return;
// search for our message section (eg. t7Messages)
var notificationArea = document.getElementById("notification");
if (notificationArea != null)
{ notificationArea.innerHTML = '<div class="t12notification">1 error has occurred<ul class="htmldbUlErr"><li>' + vErrorStack + '</li></ul>'; }
else
{ alert(vErrorStack); }
</pre>
This code is loaded as a static file in Application Express (no application associated).
In both templates a reference to this code is added in the Definition Header section:
<pre>
<script src="#WORKSPACE_IMAGES#errorHandling.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
</pre>
This library is called from the two level tab to show the error message (if any) in het onLoad event of the body tag.
<body onLoad="javascript:show_message();">#FORM_OPEN#
This code checks whether a message has been written to a cookie and if found displays the message in the notification area.
In the error template page the Error section has the content:
<script language="javascript">
processErrorText();
window.history.go(-1);
</script>
Back
The call to processErrorText() looks for the error message, extracts the relevant part of it (between ‘ORA-20000’ and the next ‘ORA-‘), writes it to a cookie and returns to the previous screen.
The link to the previous page is added should an error in the Javascript occur. It provides the user with a path back to the application.
With these actions taken, the error messages issued from triggers are shown in the notification area of the form the user has entered his data in.
The need for database driven messaging
In some cases the need exists to process error messages in the database before presenting them to the user. This is the case, when the triggers return message codes, associated to error messages in a message table.
This can be done by using a special Error Message Processing page in Apex.
The error message page extracts the error message, redirecting to the Error Message Processing page with the error message as a parameter. In the EMP page a PL/SQL function can be called with the message as a parameter. This function returns the right message, which is written to a cookie using dynamically generated Javascript from PL/SQL. Than the contol is given back to the calling form.
The redirect is implemented by location.replace, so that the error message page does not exist within the browsing history. The normal history(-1) will return to the calling page.
Implementation of database driven messaging
The solution redefines two template pages, the two level tab (default page template) and the one level tab (error page template).
Javascript is added to implement the solution. This Javascript is contained in a small library errorHandling.js already listed in a previous paragraph.
In both templates a reference to this code is added in the Definition Header section:
<script src="#WORKSPACE_IMAGES#errorHandling.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
This library is called from the two level tab to show the error message (if any) in het onLoad event of the body tag.
<body onLoad="javascript:show_message();">#FORM_OPEN#
This code checks whether a message has been written to a cookie and if found displays the message in the notification area.
In the error template page the Error section has the content:
<script language="Javascript">
var errorText = null;
function redirect2oracle()
{ window.location.replace("f?p=&APP_ID:500:&APP_SESSION.::::P500_MESSAGE:"+errorText); }
function getError()
{ errorText = processErrorText(); }
getError();
redirect2oracle();
</script>
Go to Error Message Porcessing Page
Back to form
The call to processErrorText() looks for the error message, extracts the relevant part of it (between ‘ORA-20000’ and the next ‘ORA-‘), writes it to a cookie.
Then the EPM-page (500) is called with the extracted message as parameter.
The link to the EPM page and the previous page is added should an error in the Javascript occur. It provides the user with a path back to the application.
We need to create an Error Message Porcessing Page.
Create a new page 500 with a empty HTML-region “Parameters”
Create an text-area P500_MESSAGE in this region
Create a PL/SQL region “Process Messages” with source:
convert_message(:P500_MESSAGE);
Create a PL/SQL procedure convert_message like this example, that reads messages from a message table. If not found, the actual input message is returned.
CREATE OR REPLACE procedure convert_message(i_message in varchar2) is
v_id number := null;
v_message varchar2(4000) := null;
function get_message (i_message in varchar2) return varchar2 is
v_return varchar2(4000) := null;
begin
select msg_text into v_return
from messages
where msg_code = upper(i_message);
return(v_return);
exception
when no_data_found then
return(i_message);
end;
begin
v_message := get_message(i_message);
// write the message for logging/debugging
htp.p('Boodschap='||v_message);
// write cookie and redirect to calling page
htp.p('<script language="Javascript">');
htp.p('document.cookie="ApexErrorStack='||v_message||';";');
htp.p('window.history.go(-1);');
htp.p('</script>');
// enter return link just in case
htp.p('Ga terug');
end;
Note: The way the message is converted is just an example
With these actions taken, the error messages issued from triggers are shown in the notification area of the form the user has entered his data in.

Printer Error Messages When Printing PDF Documents
I keep getting the following error messages when I try to pring a PDF document. This application has failed to start because LXBBGF.DLL was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix this. The other error message is: Cannot load library LXBBPRP.DLL using default error 126. I spent over and hour with a Lexmark Tech. who unsistalled my Lexmark X75 printer and he did a register edit to make sure my register was cleared of all the old Lexmark entries. He then reistalled the printer and the drivers, but the error message still pops up when trying to print a PDF Document. He checked out the printer and it will print and scan all other types of documents with no error messages. He also had me unistall Acrobat Reader 11.0 and reinstall it. I also did a sytem restore but none of the remedies I have tried so far has fixed the error messages issues. I would like to get this problem resolved as soon as possible because I need to print my travel documents asap. This forum is great but can someone please let me know how to get in touch with Adobe Technical Support. I need their toll free phone number and email address?
Hi Pat,
When I first encountered the PDF printing problem I went to the Adobe Web Site and downloaded the most current version of Adobe Reader which was the 11.0.6 version and the Lexmark Technician uninstalled the old driver and installed the updated version of the printer's driver. But this did not resolve the PDF printing problem. Both before and after the PDF printing problem surfaced I was able to print all other document formats except PDF documents.
It seems very strange to me that once I uninstalled the Adobe Reader 11.0.6 and reinstalled my old version of Adobe Reader 9.3.3 that all of sudden I was able to print all of my other PDF documents. But that's what happened and Adobe still insists that it was a printer issue. I did a little research and this is not the first time Adobe has had compatibility/configuration issues with Lexmark printers and they have not resolved these issues.
I know I am taking a chance by using an unsupported unsecure version of Adobe Reader, but at this time I don't have any other option. Unless Adobe develops a patch/workaround solution. Which I hoping they will do, but I don't think this is going to happen soon because this issue is not a high priority as it only effects a small portion of their customer base.
Thanks For Your Input/Comments

Hello,
I have implemented the BADI "CRM_ORDER_STATUS" for validating with status change in opportunity with another field. This BADI is invoked whenever the status field is changed in the transaction.
Inside the BADI I want to throw error message to the user on the PCUI screen. I tried using the "MESSAGE" ABAP statement in the BADI implementation but the message is not displayed in the PCUI but is displayed in the SAP GUI. Can anyone tell me how to display our own error messages in the PCUI screen.
Thanks in advance.Hello,
Here the example coming from the BADI 'CRM_CUSTOMER_H_BADI' documentation :
Error messages
Error messages should not be issued directly, but should be forwarded to the application log using the function module CRM_MESSAGE_COLLECT. By defining the error gravity, you can define whether it leads to a program termination, an incorrect status or only a warning in the transaction.
The error messages issued must, however, be deleted by the implementer at the start of the BAdI, as otherwise they will not disappear from the log file, and the system would therefore continue to display the error, even if it was already solved.
Example
data:
ls_msgidno type bal_s_idno,
lt_msgidno type bal_r_idno,
lv_save_message type c.
*Delete message(s) at the beginning of the method
ls_msgidno-sign = 'I'.
ls_msgidno-option = 'EQ'.
ls_msgidno-low-msgid = 'CRM_ACTIVITY_H'.
ls_msgidno-low-msgno = '801'.
append ls_msgidno to lt_msgidno.
call function 'CRM_MESSAGES_DELETE'
exporting
it_r_msgidno = lt_msgidno
iv_ref_object = is_activity_h_wrk-guid
iv_caller_name = gc_object_name-activity_h. " See include programCRM_OBJECT_NAMES_CON
*In the error case, collect the message:
if .
messge id 'CRM_ACTIVITY_H' type 'E' number '801'
into lv_save_message.
call function 'CRM_MESSAGE_COLLECT'
exporting
iv_caller_name = gc_object_name-activity_h " See include programCRM_OBJECT_NAMES_CON
iv_ref_object = is_activity_h_wrk-guid.
endif.
Hope this will help you.

Prob. while using error message in OOPS ALV
Friends,
I have developed an OOPS ALV to display the records with cost field as editable. And the cost should not accept decimals values, if the user enter the same (12.56) and click the save button (user-defined) then need to populate the error message. I am populating the error message, then the user change the value (12) and click the save, then in the ALV screen the chanegd value 12 is automatically back to prv. one 12.56 and the same error messgae is displaying.
If i change the message type from Error to Info, then its working fine... but the client wants only error message. So anybody came across the same scenario? if yes.. pls share the solution..
Ganesh CHi,
In this case, after the error message issued though the value is corrected , corrected data is not transferred to progarm.
Program still works with old data. Check how you are issuing message and how you refereshing the table after user inputs.
you can check program BCALV_EDIT_03 for vlidating fileds.
I believe you can simply refer a data element which does not accepts decimal values.
Regards,
Ravi. -
Content Encoding Error Message re invalid or unsupported form of compression
After installing the last update, when I would attempt to go to various websites, even google, I would get this message on some sites not all. I did not get on IE or chrome.
"Content Encoding Error
The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because it uses an invalid or unsupported form of compression.'
This is what I did.
Open Firefox
1) in the address bar, type: about config 2) promise to be careful 3) type in the filter bar: encoding 4) double click on the value column of network.http.accept-encoding 5) change the 'string value' from "gzip, deflate" to "true" (I had to type that in.) I found that on another string that was closed that the moderator said not to do it or it could mess things up.
I do not know if issue was caused by last update as add or remove programs in control panel does not show Mozilla updates so I could not uninstall last udate. Only other thing I had done was reinstall Real Player Plus with Real downloader and Speed-bit accelerator as I was having trouble downloading flash videos from web pages mainly from Firefox. (Chrome in its wisdom playing god disabled the addon without even asking me so I could not use Chrome for downloads-they said something about not knowing publisher or certificate--"Real Networks"!!! maybe Google-Chrome does not want users of "You Tube which I think it owns to be able to download offf it with competitor or sort of competitor's applications.) I do not know that the Rel Player re-installation had anything to do with the Firefox error message-just contemporaneous in time as was the Firefox update that I only knew about as Firefox let me know I had to restart to finish installation of update.
After ten minutes after making changes re config it seems to be operating OKAfter leaving my computer on all night with Chrome and Firefox both open but doing no downloading, etc., I noticed that Wincows Task Manager icon was all green showing 100% CPU usage. I opened Internet Explorer 8 which had been off all night. I looked at Windows Task Manager "processes". It shows firefox.exe with cpu at 86 to 95, iexplore.exe two instances, both at at 00-02, and chrome.exe (2 instances) both at 00. Realpaly.exe also left on all night after burning multiple Cds 6 hours earlier was also at zero. Nothing named speed bit had an active process, but videoacellerator.exe and VideoacceleratorService.exe both of which I allowed to stay in a startup folder were both at 00. Firefox is not downloading videos etc. It has two windows open, one at eBay and one support.mozilla on this issue(content encoding error). This all started occcurring after the latest Firefox update that necessitated the restarting of my computer. I have th two Firefox extensions that like T=Real Downloader allow downloads of flash videos on web pages and neither one was active Flash and Video Download, and Flash Video Downloader the former had been active for several continuous days downloading multiple video clips but had been turned off before I went to bed. After an hour typing this things are still the same with Firefox the CPU hog , still at 84-97, chrome.exe and iexplore.exe still both under 05. For some reason with the recent update tht required restarting the computer Firefox has become a CPU hog and is not working properly withprograms (Windows downloader and Speedbit) and has the content encoding error message issue as wll as sometimes IE not able to go to some pages. My CPU icon in taskbar is teill all green, and can't close firefox without a lot of hassle as that is what I am typing this on.., but I bet that when I do total CPU usage goes to 20 or so and system idle process is the only process with numbers over 80 for CPU.
Has anyone told a webpage manager that there is an encryption problem with their webpage (such as Google or Amazon) as the error message instructs us to do? -
Error message while burning cds and dvds
imac on Mountain lion will burn cd and dvd but most of the time says there was an error and spits out cd. When check on a different mac the cds are fine, what do I need to do to correct the error message issue?
This can be caused by poor quality media ( = poor quality coating).
Not recommended: Memorex, Sony, cheap supermarket offerings
Recomended: Verbatim, Fuji, Maxell, Taiyo Yuden.
Also, use a slow burn speed like 2x or 4x. -
We purchased an iMac this spring, and we have been trying to export a highlight video (shot mainly in HD) with music and a few clips to our desktop (as a long video) so we can make a dvd. The video is approximately 40 minutes in length. We have rejected/trashed the extra video files we are not using to free up space. We have over 330gig available in our hard drive. We still continue to get the "there is not enough memory in the heap" message. We have been to the Mac store for One-to-One twice now and they were not even aware of this error message/issue. We have followed all of their troubleshooting suggestions without any success. Has anyone had this issue and found a way to resolve it so you can create a dvd? We only have about 50% of the footage on an external drive--the rest of the video is no longer available, so we have to make the existing project work, and we are pressed to have the dvd completed by Thursday.
you're using MacOS 10.7 ?

Unable to render video in PSCS4 - Error Messages- QT DLL Issue??
I started this thread in the Adobe Forums for PhotshopCS4, but the consensus there was that my issue is a QuickTime issue, perhaps with a DLL and iTunes. I have included a few of those suggestions at the end of the post. I have tried uninstalling QT Pro, cleaning and reinstalling with no improvement. I have not removed iTunes and reinstalled.
`````````````````
I am unable to render video it seems in Photoshop CS4 Extended. Despite having the latest QuickTime Pro installed and all updates to Vista 32 bit and to CS4 Design Premium, I get the following error message:
"The procedure entry point CFCreateApplicationRepositoryPath could not be located in the data link library CoreFoundation.dll"
This happens when, for example, I load 100 medium resolution JPEGs as an image sequence and choose File >Export > Render Video.
If I OK through the error a couple of times I get a screen with output options, but usually some are greyed out. When I CAN put in QuickTime settings and choose export I get the following error:
"Could not complete the Render Video Command because of a program error."
When I have opened a support case with Adobe it has regularly been closed after being told to get QuickTime 7.2 or higher. GGGrrrr. I have QT 7.6.5 Pro installed.
Any help much appreciated....I do have Premiere Elements 7 installed as well FYI.
Thanks! System Info below:
Was your QT properly installed with correct privileges? As Mr. Cox said, it seems there is an issue with your QT install. also, in the QT system control panle, enable the Allow Encoding using Legacy CoDecs option. this often fixes the weirdest issues (as it also catches a number of other legacy calls to QT components)...
Thanks guys- the QT install SEEMS fine....? I will try allowing legacy CODECs and if that doesnt ehlp I will totally uninstall QT Pro, clean the registry, reboot and install QT from the top. Will let you know how I get on with this.
Phil
I have enabled using legacy CODECs and restarted, same error message.
I have completely uninstalled QuickTime(Pro), run CCleaner to clear files and the registry...I have then rebooted, reinstalled Quicktime(Pro) 7.6.5, rebooted. I get the very same error message at that time.
Any further suggestions appreciated.
All the google searches point directly at Apple like Chris pointed out. I noticed that there were a lot of Apple product hits but the most standing out was itunes. Did you happen to install itunes software (or some other Apple product) and maybe itunes over-wrote the .DLL? Other then that thought I don't have any other input.
I agree this is an issue with an Apple DLL. The error you're getting suggests that the wrong version of the DLL is being used. It means that the thing that is rendering the video is expecting the CoreFoundation DLL to have a particular function called CFCreateRepositoryPath but it's not there.
What could be happening is that there are multiple instances of this DLL on the computer and the PATH is leading to the wrong one.
You might search your entire hard-drive and find where the CoreFoundation DLL exists and what version each is. If there is only one version, then perhaps your version of QuickTime is actually too new. Photoshop 11.0.1 came out a long time ago, and the version of QuickTime referred to in the support-ticket-closure response is also pretty old, so maybe the newest QuickTime is using a newer version of the DLL that Photoshop knows how to deal with.
Searching my system for CoreFoundation. there is one smaller version of the DLL in Apple Application Support dated in November and then several larger ones in directories dealing with mobile phones like the iPhone, which I don't have one of, dated a few months earlier.
I'm guessing the iPhone stuff came with iTunes, which I do have installed, though I don't really use it.
Thanks for looking, really hoping for some help here."The procedure entry point CFCreateApplicationRepositoryPath could not be located in the data link library CoreFoundation.dll"
Thanks for all the detailed information, pw. It's very helpful.
Okay, the most recent versions of QuickTime require a fully functional Apple Application Support in order to run properly. You're getting a problem with one of the Apple Application Support dlls. So the best thing to do first would be to uninstall both Apple Application Support and QuickTime, and then reinstalling QuickTime (which should reinstall a fresh version of Apple Application Support).
There's 7/Vista 32-bit instructions for doing that in the following post:
I have an olde iMac that once I have an older iMAC that once burned CD's with no issues. Now I get an error message saying "The attempt to burn a disc failed. The device is not accessible, probably because it was removed". I have never had it touched so the device was not removed. Please advise as to what could be the problem. How to fix. Thanks
Try resetting the SMC and PRAM first, if that doesn't help try a cleaning disc.....and then buy an inexpensive external burner. Slimline super drive failures are all too common.
To reset the SMC
Shut down the computer.
Unplug the computer's power cord.
Wait fifteen seconds.
Attach the computer's power cord.
Wait five seconds, then press the power button to turn on the computer.
Resetting NVRAM / PRAM
Shut down your Mac.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command (⌘), Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys. -
I purchased this online, downloaded it without issue, and it won't open. I get an error message that states "Elements 13 has stopped working"
I have removed it and redownloaded it several times, and still no luck... HELP!
When I contacted Adobe support that's all they suggested, to reinstall...taveliben
What computer operating system?
Uninstall, free ccleaner run through, and reinstall with antivirus and firewall(s) disabled is not a bad idea. But, let us look at some other
factors before that.
1. When you try to open the program, how far do you get....Welcome Screen - clicking on Organizer or Video Editor or other?
Have you tried to open the program directly from the Adobe Premiere Elements.exe file after you have applied Run As Administrator to that file?
2. Does the problem exist with and without the antivirus and firewall(s) disabled? Are you working in a school or company network?
3. Are you working with a pen and tablet device instead of mouse?
4. Is your video card/graphics card driver version up to date according to the website of the manufacturer of the card?
4. Do you have the latest version of QuickTime installed and are you running the programs as administrator?
Let us start here and then decide what next based on the details in your reply.
Besides uninstall/ccleaner/reinstall, we may next try deleting the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file or the whole 13 Folder in which it
exists or installing the program in a newly created user account with administrative privileges and trying to run the program from there.
But, let us rule in or out the first 4.
Any questions or need clarification on any of the above, please do not hesitate to ask.
Thank you.
Hello, I am getting a Kern Protection failure error message when trying to start up my Olympus DSS Player dictation software. I have been using the software without issue for years until last month. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software and don't recall installing any new software before the issue began.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, I will post the error message below. Thanks.
I am trying to install MasterCollection_CS6_LS16. When I double click the install file I get this error message: We've encountered the following issues. Installation on case-sensitive volumes is not supported. Please choose a different volume for installation. What does that mean? How should I proceed?
Hey iraravitz,
Could you please let me know what version of OS are working on.
You might receive this error when you attempt to install on a drive with the HFS+ Case Sensitive file system, which is not supported for installation of Adobe Creative Suite 6.
So, please try installing on a drive that has been formatted with a supported file system.
You might refer the KB doc link mentioned below for the same:
Error "Case-sensitive drives not supported" or similar install error | Mac OS
Let me know if this helps.
Just updated to IOS 7 and two issues:
First when I connect my iPhone to my computer I get this error message:itunes was unable to provider data from sync services". I'm not sure what this really means...
The second issue is when I try to select "Manually Manage Music"
The iPhone "My iPhone" is synced with another iTunes libary on "MY-PC". Do you want to erase this iPhone and sync with this iTunes library? An iPhone can be synced with only one iTunes library at a time. Erasing and syncing replaces the contents of this iPhone with the contents of this iTunes library."
So... I don't want to do that, but I do what to be able to Manage my music. I'm not sure what it means by being synced to another iTunes unless it means to an older version of itunes?
Anyone have any ideas?I cannot address the sync services error right now, but the error that you receive when you change from sync to manually manage music is what happens when you change. Once you change to manually manage music, it erases all of the music and will only put the music that you want on the phone, content that you manually drag over to it. See if this support document helps you out. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1535
