Error message on unclicked Radio Button

Hello all, I was wondering how I can generate a unique error message on a required radio button on my form. I have designated the radio button as required already, but instead of the generic "missing fields" error message I would like it to generate a specific one saying "Form Must Be Reviewed with Supervisor Prior to Submission" in addition to the one that pops up when other required fields are not filled.

One way to do it is to use 2 submit buttons.
You want to hide the real submit button and use a "fake" submit button (just a regular button) to check the value of the field. If the field is ok then you click the real submit button programmatically.
On the Click event of the fake submit button (JavaScript):
if (RadioButtonList.rawValue == "") {
     xfa.host.messageBox("Form Must Be Reviewed with Supervisor Prior to Submission");
else {
     EmailSubmitButton1.execEvent("click");
Hope that helps!

  • Error message: The wireless radio is not functioning.

I spent 2 hrs on HP support chat last night, trying to get an answer to whether this is a fixable problem, and finally was disconnected from chat.
The printer is a Photosmart 7460 and it recognizes the network and I could get to its IP addres online. But it printed out its own error message saying that the radio "failed."
Can anyone tell me if this is something I can fix or if I just need to trash the machine and start over?
thanks in advance for your help!

  • Error Message when using menu buttons in IE but not chrome

    Hi.
My recently uploaded site has an issue when using the menu buttons anywhere on the site in Internet Explorer but not on my mac using chrome? I get this error message come up on screen which takes three clicks to go away  MuseJSAssert: Error calling selector function:TypeError: Object doesn't support property or method . Then if I click anything else it pop ups again. Any ideas how to get rid of this? I have tried re-uploading the muse files but the same happens. I even tried uploading the files from a different exported frm muse folder as I saw had worked for someone else on here but no difference? Any help much appreciated.

You may get an error that iPage are sorting when opening too, just delete the /root1 in the address bar to see the site?
    Thanks

    Hello,
I am only getting the MuseJSAssert error on the contact page of your site when viewed in Internet Explorer.
And as I can see you have used a webform from Jotforms which I suspect might be creating issues here.
I would suggest you to remove the form  once and then upload your website again. if it starts working fine then get the Embed code of your form again from Jotforms and insert it again to check if it works fine or not.
Please let us know the results of the testing.

  • Captivate 4 - question slides - error message attached to Next button

    Hi there
For users who may try to skip ahead and not take quiz questions, I wondered if there's a way to have an error message appear if they try to click Next without answering the question.

    Hi Alicia
As you mentioned that the day you imported the audio into Captivate slides you started facing this issue. So try to export the audio from any one of the slide, save it on your desktop, create a new project in captivate, add an image, button on that slide and import the same exported audio. Observe that are you facing the same issue or not. If not, then try to copy and paste the slides in new project with same dimensions.
    Hope it helps
    Thanks

  • Error message for iTunes radio

Two days ago I got this message when I tried to listen to the radio through iTunes. "An error occurred while contacting the radio tuning service. Check your internet connection, or try again later." My internet connection is fine. It still won't connect. No Norton's either.

After further listening, it can occur randomly, after commercials or songs. Always between songs/commercials though. I called iTunes support. It was tough to pinpoint the cause. After I got off the phone I decided to create a new user account on one of the computers (not a new iTunes account but a new computer user). When logged into this fresh account iTunes radio has been playing for the past two days with no issues, no interruptions. So its looking like a problem on the user account side. I am going to rebuild / reinstall iTunes from scratch on my regular user account and hopefull this will solve the problem. I'll post back here with results. Possibly this weekend.

  • Trying to set up wireless printer. error message says: "wireless radio not working" help.....

I have no knowledge of a "wireless radio" muchless of how to "turn it on"

I think the printer's radio (the device it uses to communicate with your wireless router).
If it is convenient, you can plug the printer into your router using an Ethernet cable for the same functionality as it being wireless.  I can help if you want.
If that is not convenient, please contact HP support: www.hp.com/go/totalcare (click on Printers & Monitors, there is a phone number on the resulting page).
Say thanks by clicking "Kudos" "thumbs up" in the post that helped you.

  • Can't load any websites. I do not get any "error messages", the "enter" button has no effect in the address bar. Works fine in the FF search box and in IE.

Entering a URL in the address bar and hitting enter does nothing. Neither the "enter" button or "address bar arrow", for going to the website, function. Website does not load and no error messages appear. "Enter" button works fine in the FF search box and in IE, so it's not my keyboard.
Tried most of the recommended fixes under the "Error loading websites" article with the exception of "DNS refetching", as typing "about:config" in the location bar does no good as the "enter button" won't function. I've removed and re-added FF back into the windows firewall, removed ZoneAlarm from my system, edited proxy settings, deleted and reinstalled FF several times. NOTHING WORKS!!! I'm a die hard FF fan and this is KILLING me. Please HELP!!!

You have a lot of information in packed in the "More system details..." (in the right-hand column), where it looks like you found a solution. If not take a look at "Problematic Extensions" the AVG Free installation of their "'''AVG Free Search'''" can cause such problems. Directions to fix that are specific and involve reinstalling AVG Free without the Link Scanner component.

  • "Get Variants" button disabled after error message in AT SELECTION SCREEN

    Hi,
In "AT SELECTION SCREEN" I throw an error message if certain criteria return no data.
After the error message is thrown, the button for choosing variants no longer appears to work.  I click it and the variant selection box doesn't come up.  It just changes the values that have been populated from red to black.
What is the code that remedies this?  If an error is thrown, it should allow you to select a variant still.
    Thanks,
    Kevin

"AT SELECTION SCREEN" is not an option here.  Let me clarify.
In START-OF-SELECTION, I call another program with a SUBMIT statement.  That program uses a logical database.  So it makes no sense to move this to "AT SELECTION SCREEN".  Even when I did that, I still couldn't solve this problem.
If the SUBMIT statement returns no data (if sy-subrc = '4') then I need to go back to the initial screen.  I need to display some kind of message, of type I or E or S, I don't care.
It just needs to go back to the selection screen and VARIANTS need to WORK, and you need to be able to SAVE the variants.
For some reason, if I get no data with the SUBMIT statement, I can display a message and get back to the selection screen but variants do not work.  I've tried EXIT, STOP, CALL SELECTION SCREEN 1000 (the only one in the program), END LIST-PROCESSING, etc.  NOTHING WORKS!

  • Firefox doesn't exit properly. Please put a button on your error message to close it. I'm tired of having to remove and restart.

This seems to be a recurring problem with many of us. Every day I have to force an exit to Firefox (3.612) and restart it. None of the suggestions made for fixing it help (extensions etc). How about taking that error message and putting a button on it that stops Firefox and restarts it? Click and done. If we can't fix it, work around!
    Thanks.

Some possibilities are suggested in the "Hang at exit" section of this article:
    http://kb.mozillazine.org/Firefox_hangs#Hang_at_exit
There's quite a bit to work through there.

  • Remove Ignore button in FFCS error message

We are a high school in the Netherlands with around 10000 workstations and all of them run Microsoft Forefront Client Security.
Last week we noticed a problem with the FFCS. When we plugin an USB device and want to run a program (which has a virus in it) it gives an FFCS error message with an ignore button which can be clicked and after that the program/virus will be running.
Also when a program is downloaded from the internet it also gives an FFCS error with an ignore button. After clicking it, the program/virus runs.
Is there any way to remove the ignore button from the error screen so that the exit button is the only thing they can click on? Perhaps trough a policy or reg setting?

The problem is when we click on Ignore the programs runs and shoots it's exploit(s) into the PC system without any interference from FFCS afterwards. This problem has been discovered by an ethical hacker when he tested one of our programs.
It is a problem of FFCS. It should stop running programs from USB or downloaded from the net. Why does it give the option to ignore the error?
So what we want is when a student tries to run a program from USB that FFCS gives an error message that it cannot run programs from USB and only an OK button. Is that hard coded in FFCS? If so, where can I file in a complaint to dev team of FFCS?

  • Multiple sets of radio buttons no longer working

    Hello All:
My first post so I apologize in advance if I don't do it
    properly.
I have a few web forms that have multiple groups of radio
buttons on them that are suddenly errorring out since we moved to
CF 7. I started tinkering with the one form that I have posted the
code for and kept cutting it down to the simplest code that begins
to produce the error. If I just use 1 radio button group everything
works fine, but the minute I add the second one, the whole thing
throws a "Syntax error (missing operator) in query expression"
message. Each radio button group has it's own group name and a
checked value. It is very simple code and very frustrating why it
has suddenly stopped working so any assistance is welcome.
