Error message setting 'Location' property on a broken/orphaned track

Hi,
I'v written a tool in c# to repair broken links of tracks in iTunes. It worked fine with iTunes 9.x. But now, in iTunes 10.0.0.68, an exception error with a wrong error message ("Value does not fall within the expected range.") will be thrown, when the 'Location' property of an orphaned track will be set, although the property has been defined as read/write.
Here is the code (example):

iTunesFile.Location = location; // <-- Does not work anymore!
Does anybody know, how I can repair programmatically broken links in iTunes 10, now? Is this a known bug? Is there an update of iTunes?

Yes,
I also tried to set the location property within VBA using the itunes COM library directly in Word to exclude .net and interops as an error source. But with no success, getting the same exception error.
Seems to me as an error in the library.

I purchased a new computer and used Detto Intelli Mover to transfer all my music files. When I opened the library, they all appeared to be there, but when I try to plan anything I get an error message "cannot locate file" This happens with all of my 1,200 songs. TS3299 Itunes-I receive error message cannot locate CD burner or software.

I have a older laptop Windows XP that worked fine in burning CD's from ITunes Playlist.
After latest Itunes update I have problems receive error message "Cannot Locate CD burner or software"
I have tried several things restarting computer-updating computer any other suggestions.

Looks like itunes was still trying to communicate with my iphone and got confused when it couldnt find it. Found this in another post and it worked great.
Solution:
Make sure you are not connected to the internet and then open itunes. Sync your phone and then enable the internet again. Then stay connected to the internet and close your itunes and reopen it. Bam problem solved.

Isntalling software error message for location

Hi all
I have been Trying to install Illustartor CS2 and at the install its displaying a Error message "cannot install to the disk (mac HD or Drive that comes with install) The contents of these disks cannot be changed, i have done a disk repair to ensure nothing is wrong. My macbook air is only 2 weeks old. I have the latest model. Is this a permissions issue or actually something wrong with my hard drive? Can someone shed any light on this issue? The pop up box with the two hard drives available to install this software on has an orange excalmation mark across each hardrive location as if it is blocking it for being used as a install location.

do i need to return this to where i purchased from under warranty or even take into apple?

Error message setting up Yahoo email account...help!

I just got my new Droid Razr yesterday, and I have tried numerous times to set up my existing Yahoo email account but I keep getting an error message that states "System is unavailable to support the request". My email address and password are correct, I am able to log in just fine on my computer, so I can't figure out what the problem is or how to fix it. Any help would be appreciated!

I have one material That material is having the alternate unit of measure EA---KG
I had created the PO for this material, when i go for MIGO system was gives one more filed
In item level of Migo screen in quantity tab.i,e "Qty in PO price Unit"
For Migo Filed selection i had made the Delivery note(GOHEAD-LFSNR) and Qty in order price unit(GOITEM- BPMNG)mandatory
Both are having the same message no M7018
so i want to change the pop up of error message of M7018 for From "Qty in OPun" to Qty in PO price unit"
then system was take this message to both delivery note and Qty in PO price unit
How to set the meesage for the fields.

GOITEM-BPMNG
GOITEM-BPMNG is mandatory. so i want to change the Description of message "qtyin OPun" to"qty
in PO Price Unit"
suppose i changed this one in SE91 for M7018 the the same message pop up for Delivery note also.
system will not ask me to "Enter Delivery note" like that
How to do this?

HELP - crazy error message setting up a mac account on iphone

Hi - I've tried Apple support, iphone support, and the submit a question/problem to the mac people with no luck. So, I'm taking my question to the next higher level -- you all.
So here is the issue. I have had a mac email account for years. I buy my cool new iPhone a few weeks ago, and add my main apple mac email account to the iphone. All is good, and I can send/receive email messages from my main account. Then I add = three other email accounts I have on mac for internet/web surfing, and all is good there too. So, now I can access my 4 apple mac accounts on my iphone.
Here is the problem -- a few days ago, my main apple mac account stopped working on my iphone. I can still send/receive email messages via web based mac mail, and I can access/send all my mail on my laptopn (just like usual). But, now, when I go to check my main mac account on my iphone it says unable to verify username or password.
So, I have tried 100 different times now, all to no avail. I deleted it, rebooted it, tried it as a mac account, an IMAP account, POP account, etc. I changed my password. Why or why do I keep getting this error message???????
I have all the latest versions of itunes, iphone, etc.
So, can anyone help me (pleeeese)......

Getting error message after creating project ess~org from ESS track

Our basis team just now implemented the track for ESS and MSS.So we need to sync all application from DTR.
We are facing problem with one Dc essOrg.I have created project essOrg from ESS track in inactive DC of development configuration.Build of DC is successful,where as in the Task tab its showing below error message:
" Tree TreeCont [dataSource]: Context element and property are not compatible Orgchart.wdview NWI_HR1_Dessorg~sap.com/src/packages/com/sap/xss/hr/org/chart "
I have done the follwing steps :
1.I have close the project.Then remove it from client.Then close the NWDs and reopen it.Still the same error we are getting after creatig project from the track.
2.Even we tried to repair the DC.Its asking for check out.Then after creating activity its showing an error pop up message "org.eclipse.jdt.core.JavaModelException: Classpath contains duplicate entry: D:Documents and settings/susmita.panigrahi/.dtc/2/DCs/sap.com/pcui_gp/xssfpm/_comp/gen/default/public/FloorplanManager/lib/java/sap.compcui_gpxssfpm~FloorplanManager.jar "
3.I have open the OrgChart view of VcOrgChart Component in NWDs.I have found that the data source property of Tree node is showing red cross mark with name OrgTab(name of context node).I have tried to select another node also other than the context node OrgTab , getting message "Select an attribute of Type"

If you have created other projects and they are working fine? Standard application should work without any modifications, so you may like to revert all the changes(before they cause further problem).
Well you may like to clean up your directory , unless you have loads of application checked out.. Remove all applications from this particular Track, ensure that everytime you delete project from Studio , select to remove code from directory.
This is likely that you are working on applications from two tracks, where version of FPM component is not the same. I always prefer to work one at a time, and i remove other track if i am done with application(This is lame way of handling it, but i prefer this.. saves loads of time to clean/repair)
Also hope you are using compatible version of Studio.

Cant open itunes, gives error message, cant locate my music file

as above. i installed a new hdd and my music is now on there, on opening itunes i just get a window saying itunes is unable to locate or create the itunes folder located in my music. file is in there. followed a suggestion that i rename the file path in itunes bin file to new drive name using a text editor, no joy, uninstalled and loaded latest itunes and still the same. windows has sp2 and all updates. any ideas????

no its a new internal hdd, though the fix may be the same? cant see why it would be different both run through the mobo just different conectors and a hdd with no operating system installed, which i,m guessing is the reason itunes cant find my music in windows on the c drive, cos it aint there!!!

You probably ran a defective third-party "utility" such as "CleanMyMac" or "MacCleanse" that purports to "clean up" "junk" files. What it really does is to corrupt the operating system and many applications.

User Error Message

Is it possible to set up a dynamic form to alert the user that they missed a field that needs to have an entry? For example,
If goal A, B, C is null and ratea, rateb, ratec has a score of 1,
then
"A goal has been entered without a corresponding rate. Please review."

If I enter in goal A and do not enter in point A, it will automatically pop up with error message. If I enter in point A and do not enter in goal A, I need to click on Validate for error message. When the error message pops up, the point and cursor stay and you manually have to move back to goal A. However, if I go to goal B instead, it does not stop me.
Originally, the form was in Excel using an error message to indicate when there were 6 goals and only 5 points or vice versa. It could be bypassed, however, the message would stay until it was fixed. The error message was located on a different page - by the required signature so that the user couldn't use the "I didn't see it excuse." Tabstrip changes after issue error message in PS

I am using an exit FUNCTION EXIT_SAPLCNAU_004 and inside that include I have an error validation for Network activity for project systems. When i issue the error message that validates the fields in the tab, the tab changes making the current tab that user was on not active anymore.
Is there a way to make it stay on the current tab when I issue an error message ? Thanks!

Try using the Property ACTIVETAB of the Tabstrip Control.
Just before your Error Message, set the Active Tab as the Tab you are Looking.
For Eg:
tabstrip-activetab = 'TAB1'.
