    Do this first:
    config t
    tftp flash:c2950-i6k2l2q4-mz.121-22.EA6.bin
    end
After this you can copy the file to the TFTP server.  No need to save the config.

  • Error installing Flash Pro CS6

I'm trying to install Flash Pro CS6 but I keep getting the following error (the message is in portuguese) after running the .exe file (downloaded directly from Adobe's oficial website).
I've tried it in 3 different computers with Windows 8 and in one computer with Windows 7 and all of them give me the same error. I'm using an Admin account so that's not the problem!

The problem is happening when I try to extract the downloaded files from the .exe to another folder. The application has all the permissions available
Here is another picture of the initial screen when I double click the .exe file.
I've tried to extract it to other folders, like "Documents", "Downloads", but It gives me the same error as before.

  • Can't Open Flash Pro CS5

I just installed the 30-day trial version of Adobe Flash Pro CS5 on my HP laptop (I'm using Windows XP Professional) and every time I try to open it it says that "Adobe Flash CS5 has encountered a problem and needs to close."
I need this for my job and I'm unsure as to why this is happening. Has anyone else encountered this problem? And if so, how did you go about fixing it?

I am facing the same problem. My OS is Win7 and Hardware is Dell Inspiron laptop.
I have installed CS5 Premium 30-day trial. All app work fine except Flash CS5. Can someone help?

  • Flash Pro (CS3) will not open after file 'AuthPlay.dll" removed from Acrobat 9.

A recent Adobe security issue recommened removal of 'AuthPlay.dll' from Acrobat Pro v9x.  When trying to open Flash Pro (CS3) the program throws an error " The AuthPlay.dll/Lib is missing from the configurration folder" and the program will not run.  Anyone know of a workaround or a way to open Flash Pro without the dll in question?

The thing is, I've been applying the instruction:
capwap ap controller ip address 10.4.13.2
'cause I want them to communicate with a remote controller, and the past eight did it fine, but this two didn't.
As for the things I've already tried, I have reset it's parameters to it's initial settings, I've tried to load a new IOS image, I've cleared the flash memory, but nothing works, it keeps communicating with the old controller.
How can I fix this? (I mean, changing or adapting the AP to a lightweight AP)
    Thanks in advance

Its fine to try to apply it from the console...but if you really want to clear the AP, you need to clear the nvram.  so if changing the primary from the GUI that the AP has joined didn't work, then try this:
    debug capwap console cli
    erase /all nvram
    Example:
    Entered the username and password
    debug capwap console cli
    erase /all nvram:
    [confirm]
    undebug all
    reload
    [confirm]
    Thanks,
    Scott

  • Flash Pro becomes slow ... fast

    Hey all,
I've been having an incredibly frustrating situation with Flash. If i use the program for about 15-20 minutes, it slows down considerably. Selecting a new tool can take upwards of 5 seconds to register. Moving anywhere on the timeline will be the same. Using the pencil or brush tool doesn't register right away, so if i draw a curved line, whatever i drew for the 1st second will be a straight line (and the rest will follow accurately, but lagging behind my digital pen). And playing anything in the timeline will go from my set 12 frames a second down to 4.
This will happen to documents that have a library full of pngs and documents that have nothing but the one frame i am drawing in. I have tried running Flash in different compatibility modes, and tried the trial of Flash CS 5.5. The problem will relieve itself when i close flash and reopen it, but only lasts for another 15-20 minutes.
I am running Flash CS5 in Windows 7 on a Lenovo X220 tablet PC. I have 8gb of ram and intel i7 sandybridge for graphics and video. I've monitored my Task Manager and the CPU doesn't really spike, or exceed more than 25% at any given moment. Flash will start acting this way when it's memory hits around 350,000k, but really, i can open a document and just wait 15 minutes and it will be slow, despite me not doing anything in the program. If i have any other windows open, nothing else runs slow.  I do not have this problem with any other adobe software. I have drawn in Photoshop for hours, and used premiere for long bursts of time as well. Any advice would be most welcome. (also the computer is relatively new, so i don't have any new fonts installed or too much on my hard drive.) Thanks in advance.

It is possible that the updater is trying to connect and it slows everything down. One user from another forum (http://forums.adobe.com/message/2630022) posted the solution to fix the "Update Server not responding" issue. Can we please try this?
    1. Open Network and Sharing Center
    2. Click Change adapter settings
    3. Right-click the Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter, and click Disable.
    4. Open Flash Pro and Help > Check for Updates
Please let me know if this works.
    Thanks,
    Quynh

  • I cannot find the Common Libraries menu. I am running Flash Pro CC on a PC.

I know the Common Libraries menu should be just below the regular Library option, but its not there. Any help of where i can find those preset buttons and stuff is greatly appreciated, thank you.

Since you are on Windows you can do the following
    1) copy the 3 fla files from your CS6 installation (e.g) C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Flash CS6\Common\Configuration\Libraries\
    2) Now open Flash Pro CC. You can now open these files frm File->Import->Open External Library
    3) However note that Flash Pro CC does not support AS2 components, therefore if these libraries contain AS2 code these will not work.

  • Adobe Flash Player 10.1 issues, errors with Quickbooks Pro 2010 installation

I recently - uh today - had an agonizing experience installing Quickbooks Pro 2010 because I kept receiving error messages during the Quickbooks installation. It was a new cd that I had purchased a few months ago from Costco, and had been putting off using it, or even installing it.
So today, I tried to install it, and failed repeatedly. I kept getting the same message, Adobe Flash player file is unavailable - with a drop down screen showing the location of the flash player file that the installation software was trying to find so it could continue the installation. I think I recall seeing an error message originally with Adobe Flash Player 10.1, but it's been a long day, so maybe the error was always referring to Flash Player 8.0.  I tried to browse for a new location that the Flash Player file might be located, looking through the Program Files\Adobe and coming up with nothing.
I spent a long time looking through the discussion forums on both Quickbooks and Adobe trying to find the answer, also turning off and on my computer,  ha. And I installed the latest Flash version, Flash Player 10.1, then uninstalled it and then reinstalled it, and then uninstalled it and looked for the obsolete Flash Player 8.0 which I couldn’t find on Adobe’s website, but found links to in two other forums…So basically, I tried to solve this on my own, and it didn't work.
So...I was whining to a friend who suggested I just call Quickbooks technical support. Duh, why didn't I think of that? I guess because the packaging on the new software says that fees may apply if you call customer service.  Well, it doesn't apply to the first call, and also it's crazy to charge someone who can't even install the program. So I called them, and was on hold forever.
    But the problem was solved.
The tech support person, Manish, was able to install Quickbooks by completely bypassing the usual installation procedure.  He checked for compatibility, which was fine, I have Windows XP, etc. and then I believe went to control panel, add or remove programs, and clicked on add programs, and followed the icons with the Wizard to install the latest version of Quickbooks.  The interesting thing here is that QB has some special download to allow remote access during a trouble shooting call. It initially freaked me out, but it worked just fine, since I could see what was happening on my computer screen even though I wasn't the one operating the computer.
I asked Manish why this installation method seemed to work. He said some of the Quickbooks cds have a bad Flash Player program file, and doing it this way seems to bypass it. He also said that Quickbooks should not compatibility issues with Flash 8.0 or Flash 10.1, but there were some problems noted with Flash Player 9.0.  I asked if I would have problems if I uninstalled Flash Player 8.0 and then reinstalled 10.1. He said there shouldn’t be problems, so that’s what I just finished doing.
Hopefully this is helpful for someone else out there in cyberland.
Also, it was kind of helpful, someone else posted on another forum that you could check what flash files you have by going to C:\Windows\System 32\Macromed\Flash, because I couldn’t even find where the Flash Player was installed.  They are not in the Program files under Adobe.

Hi, well that sounds like quite an ordeal. Your Flash files are located in C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash  Open Flash with a right click and post back all files listed there. It may be a good idea to just confirm that they are correct.
Then Using Internet Explorer, go to Tools, Manage addons and Toolbars & Extensions and look for a box Show all add ons.
You should find Shockwave Flash Object..ActiveX Control..Flash10h.ocx and make sure it is enabled.
The Flash files and that ActiveX Control is Flash Player.
Now if you use another browser, you may want to post that version info as well. Also, what service pack do you have with XP?
    Thanks,
    eidnolb

    Wow. Okay...
I'll let the real veterans in this forum tackle your issues one after the other. But, I can tell you, all will be well.
My only comment would be re: your computer specs:
    BJReis wrote:

To be completely honest, FCPX is a RAM hog. It just is. But, RAM is relatively cheap, and the pay-off is good.
4GB is right on the edge, IMHO. 16G is ideal.
I wish you luck, hang in there, and standby for more help.

  • Flash Pro changes filename in app-descriptor, causing an error.

How do I prevent Flash Pro from changing the <filename> in my app-descriptor? It's currently updating this node with the name of the application I'm compiling (to Android, iOS) which is throwing an error.
    Thank you.

Simply because the schema, support and features of AIR are updated at a rapid pace to keep compliant with Google and Apple.
There's been many old apps I've had that broke entirely during the OS6 update that were fixed in the next version. When I say broke, I mean shattered. Being the XML schema is updated so rapidly the interfaces for creating them in the apps themselves (especially relics like CS5.5) can't keep pace. Believe me, you want AIR to be updated as much and fast as possible to address potentially serious issues and open new long awaited features.
How you're doing it now is probably the best way. I wait for FlashDevelop to tell me it's been updated, deny updating it, add/subtract whitespace and resave..
I think the best possible thing would be for Adobe to consider breaking off the XML-specific portions of the interface into a separate panel. The destination of the IPA, signing credentials, etc all can be in a different panel so the XML isn't overwritten every time you set them at export. Then simply get used to the very verbosely commented XML file and hand-edit it from then on. It's a really simple file to learn anyhow and I gut mine of all unneeded settings and comments so it's 1/8th the size. If people are making apps, this file shouldn't scare them at all. The Apple developer section, references and provisioning portal? Now that's scary..

  • Pro 9 Users Receive "There was an error opening this document. The file is damaged and could not be repaired."

Users with Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro (Windows XP) are not able to open PDFs created on the server. They receive the error message:
“There was an error opening this document. The file is damaged and could not be repaired.”
Even if the users save to disk and try to re-open, the error still occurs.
This error did not surface in our QA testing because we were testing with Adobe Acrobat Reader 8. What can the difference be? Is there additional information that I can look for in order to troubleshoot this?
Thank you for looking at my post. Please provide guidance in trying to resolve this issue.
    Elsa

So, I'm not sure how much this will help but if you save the pdf AHW_Test_05112009xx.pdf and open it in a text editor, and go all the way down to the bottom where the %%EOF marker is, it looks as if the html page is getting appended to the end of the pdf. I recieved the "This file was damaged..." error in Adobe 7.1.0 when trying to open it but if you remove the html at the end, it opens up just fine.
It appears that whatever's appending the html to the end is causing the issue.
Below is what the file looks like near the end after the EOF:
    startxref
