Error: Organizational Assignment created via Orgnizational Management in HCM form

Hi All,
I am getting below error while moving an EE to certain position via HCM form.
I have cheked and found that if an org unit is to be assigned to another cost center in Organizational management from a certain date, this action generates a new record in infotype 0001 for integrated persons from the date of assignment to the new cost center and if we perform any action which would be deleting the new record (created from OM) in IT0001 then this error would populate.
Here is the the same case a new Cost Centre has been assigned with the orgunit and a new record is creaed in IT0001 from the OM but when I am performing the same action via PA40 then I not getting any error, the error is occuring from the form only.
Can you please help me to resove this error and provide me the reason why it is not occring when I am performing the same action from PA40.
Regards,
Mayank

Hi Mayank,
I think you will be triggering Job Salary Form for the action you have mentioned. Please check in the Tcode HRASR_DT for the form name as I have show below from my development system. In Back-End services - SAP_PA - Infotypes and Operations and for Infotype 0001 check what is the operation that you have maintained.. It should be "change" to avoid the error message.
For PA40 action you would have configured the same as "change" thats why you are not getting error message in PA40.
Thanks,
Sriram

  • Errors when packaging extension via Extension Manager Command Line

    Hi all,
I am attempting to package an Adobe Fireworks extension via the CS6 Extension Manager command line tool:
    /Applications/Adobe\ Extension\ Manager\ CS6/Adobe\ Extension\ Manager\ CS6.app/Contents/MacOS/Adobe\ Extension\ Manager\ CS6 -suppress -package product="Fireworks CS6" mxi="name.mxi" mxp="name.mxp"
    I get the following error:
    error: +++ Assert in file /export/home/coretech/source/daily/extendscript/scriptobjects/build/xcode24/../../source/ bridgetalk/source/SoBridgeTalk.cpp, line 117
+++ BridgeTalk::InitTerm::exit() has already been called.
    Debugger() was called!
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to proceed?
    Best,
    Dmitriy

    1. There is no "product" attribute in package command. Please remove it.
    2. Why do you still package mxp? MXP has some limitations and is no longer supported in Extension Manager CC. You should package ZXP instead.
    3. Extension Manager CS6 can't sign extension during package. We have a new free product called Adobe Exchange Packager which can package and sign extensions. You can sign in http://www.adobeexchange.com/ and go to Resources page to download it. The current version in this page can't package extension based on existing mxi file. The latest version meets your requirement and will be available in a couple of days.

  • Creating Start Process in ESS - HCM forms and Processes

    Hi Guys,
Please educate me on how to create a start process in ESS side, I tried copying the iView from Specialist folder(HR Admin and Manager) and pasting it in ESS personal information folder, but it doesn't seem to work. it would be great if some one can help me out in this regards. Thanks very much
    Regards,

    Hey Aakash,
Follow this path inside the IMG:
Personnel Management -> HR Administrative Services -> Configuration of Forms/Processes -> Process Configuration -> Set Up Processes -> Validity of Process Start -> Specify Valid Processes for Start Applications
In here, you select the role that you want to assign your scenario to.  If you want to view the current roles available, under Set Up Processes, run the Determine Processor Roles transaction.
    Hope this helps...
    Cheers,
    Kevin

  • Error -1116 when creating a Sales Order via DI API

    Hi All,
We have an developed EDI AddOn that creates Sales Orders in SBO 2007 PL13, in one of our clients.
This AddOn is responsible for the creation up to 100 orders each day on SBO.
However, sometimes (3 to 4%) during the Sales Order creation, the system return an error -1116 when the Sales Order is created - via oSalesOrder.Add() method.
The problem is that the order is created anyway, although this error is raised.
I've searched in the forums and it seems the solution is somehow related with SBO transactions.
However, the AddOn only created the Sales Order, nothing more.
Does any body know a solution for this problem?

  • Create AP payment via Cash Management

    Hi all,
In EBS 12.1.3 i try to create an AP Payment via Cash Management Responsibility. But when the forms redirects me where i should create the payment - one of the field/BANK_ACCOUNT_NAME/ is populated by default with strange value. I suppose it should take the value from bank_account_name in the cash header. Instead of this it takes value for another bank/i'm unable to find the logic of taking exactly this bank account.../
    For example :
    In Cash - Bank acc name = A in Payables - B,
In Cash Bank acc name = C in Payables - D
    and so on...
Any ideas? Maybe some settings for creating AP Payments via the Cash Management responsibility?
    Thanks in advance,
    Bahchevanov.

    Hi,

I create the folder and enter the test information for creating a test and then I after I click apply. I get message “You have insufficient privileges for the current operation. Please contact your System Administrator”.
The System Administrator viewed the profile being tied to the responsibility and thinks there is no problem. Somebody please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Help……

    Hi, James.
If you add the main "Learning Administrator" role (UMX|OTA_LRNG_ADMIN), it will include all child roles for the Administrator, including the Learning Content Administrator, Learning Catalog Administrator, Learning Enrollment Administrator, Learning Finance Administrator, Learning Resource Administrator, and Learning Setup Administrator. If you don't have all of these roles, there are functions you will not have access to under the Learning Administrator responsibilities.
The "Learning Instructor - Update" role only allows users that have the Learning Instructor Self-Service responsibility to update enrollment statuses for Learners that have attended classes that they are set as a resource for and won't impact the Administrator functionality.

    Thanks Sandy,
I have already solved the problem , I  have done the following actions:
    1. Stop J2EE engine
    2. rename folder
         /usr/sap/<SID>/<Instance>/j2ee/os_libs/adssap
Please rename this adssap folder to adssap.old
    3. Start J2EE engine
During starting J2EE engine, folder adssap will be re-generated.
    4. Also make sure XMLform.exe is extracted under
        /usr/sap/<SID>/<Instance>/j2ee/os_libs/adssap/XMLFormService/bin
I restarted the entire instance (ABAP  and JAVA) and now all is running fine.

  • Process manager deployment error - can't create views

We installed the process manager on solaris using sybase. When we try to deploy any of the sample applications, we see the following error: "Failed to create a view in database.....so.process_instance not found....
After checking the database, we can see that all the tables are created and belong to dbo. Any ideas?

    Thomas,
If you are talking about the Process Manager which is now part of iPlanet Application Server Enterprise Pro Edition, I suggest you re-post your question to the Application Server forum. This forum is for iPlanet Integration Server, an entirely separate product.

  • Error while Assigning database level role (db_datareader) to SQL login (Domain Account)

    Team,
I got an error while creating a User for Domain Account. Below is the screen shot of the error (error : 15401)
Database instance is on SQL 2000 SP3. ( I know it is out of support, But the customer is relutanct to upgrade)
On Google search, i found below article which is best matching for this error
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/324321
I have follows each step of troubleshooting. But still the issue persists.
Step 1. The login does not exist == The login is very much exist in the domain as i am able to add the same domain id to other database instances
Step 2. Duplicate security identifiers == i have used this query to find duplicate SID
    /*  SELECT name FROM syslogins WHERE sid = SUSER_SID ('YourDomain\YourLogin') */
But there was only one row returned with create date of today's.
Error while Assigning database level role (db_datareader) to SQL login (Domain Account)
Step 3. Authentication failure == Domain is available. User is able to login on other servers via RDP connection.
Step 4. Case sensitivity == Database collation is set to Case insensitivity. (CI)
Other two 5. Local Accounts & 6. Name resolution == is not applicable to me.
    I tried other ways also.
    A. Creating login and providing permission in one go only = User account is not created
    B. Instead of GUI, use query to create login and provide required permission = Same error.
Does anybody has faced any such situation

  • Time capsule won't back up - Unable to complete backup. An error occurred while creating the backup folder. Any ideas?

I have tried all the resets, the firmware is the latest version, the green light is on.
But I get this message "Unable to complete backup. An error occurred while creating the backup folder."
    Any ideas?

Do setup again.. but make sure both your wireless and your ethernet have ipv6 turned on to local link.
Done this OK, but no idea about IPv6 - something new to me and rather Appley I think?
Unplug the WAN for the moment.. Just LAN port TC to the MBPr ethernet via thunderbolt.. (thunderbird was the kids puppet series.. Thunderbirds are go!!). Done - New real people Thunderbirds movie coming out soon I believe!!!
Reset the TC again.. sorry.. !! You're welcome ... done.
Make sure the ethernet now has an IP address.. 10.0.1.2 - Yep - done that - on ethernet anyway ...
You need to open the network preferences to find out. Yep - that's good ...
****** I then reconnect the TC WAN to the router - is this right?
And then I think I start going round in circles ... boot, reboot, restart, reboot again ...
The final result is green light on TC, but error message when trying TM is "Backup disk is not available".
Then open the airport utility and you should be able to setup the TC.
Do as little setup as possible and then run the TM backup and see how it goes.
I have managed to get Thunderbird to LAN on TC to create a folder on TC and copy a file onto it.
So I guess the drive is working - it must be the software, settings or perhaps even the operator that isn't quite so clever ...
I named network RFG, named device RFGTC.  RFG network shown as IP 192.168.0.72
Wireless router is BT Homehub 3 with IP of 192.168.0.254 - is this issuing new IP addresses when rebooting TC?
I have three wireless networks here - the BT Homehub3 wireless, the TC wireless, and also a D-link power socket ethernet thingy for an ethernet connection to the telly - DHP-W310AV which is also wireless link.  All are effectively connected to the BT Homehub - is there a conflict there?
Have several times achieved in Airport Utility schematic with internet shown as green, RFGTC shown as green, light on TC green, but no TM backup run ... "backup disc not available."
And there are no tall building around here to hurl myself off ... at least you can go to Sydney Harbour bridge - not too far away ... it was my son in Sydney that persuaded me to scrap Windows and go Apple ... it's all his fault ...

  • Error while assigning the user to orgunit and position

    Hi,
We are having the below issue :
    1.       Obtain the HR master record (P Ids) created by interface - ECC
    2.       Assign a valid user to this HR master record -ECC
    3.       Do the position/Org assignment against this P Id or personnel master record - ECC
    4.       Transfer the Org Id, then the position ID and then the personnel master ID (P Id) to SRM u2013 ECC
    5.       Check if the user is in SYNC in SRM  - Ideally he should inherit the mandatory parameters from the above Orgs in the structure without which he shall not be able to shop in SRM u2013 step executed in SRM
Please let us know if this process is as per the expectation.
If so, we are ending up with error in the third step where the assignment is not allowed since the personnel master record is created with prior date than the position and the Org units.
Actually we are getting the idoc with user alone from other system, org and position ids are blank. So we are assigning the user in the system and we are getting above error.
Is this the correct process to bring the users alone into the system and doing the position/organization assignment in ECC now?
Or the Idoc comes with this data as well?
    Regards
    Venkatesh P
Edited by: Venkatesh Padarti on Mar 5, 2012 5:33 AM

Thank you vikas for your reply.
So we should bring all the data in the idoc(O,S,P). Even though O, S are present in the receiving sytem?
    Regards
    Venkatesh P

  • Often, Firefox app will close, but the underlying Windows process will not and cannot be stopped via Task Manager. When this happens, Firefox can no longer be used...the system must be rebooted.

    Hello,
Often, the Firefox app will close, but the underlying Windows process will not and cannot be stopped via Task Manager. When this happens, Firefox can no longer be used...the system must be rebooted. This happens especially when many apps are running but even though there are plenty of memory resources available.
I have tried to find if something is using Firefox in the background, but have no way to know what that would be.
Their are no apparent viruses detected.
Firefox is version v5.0 and occurred in earlier release.
    System is Windows 7 (64bit).

well, it's not the same hardware and it's a bit different.
I managed to pass that stage somehow but I still have a problem
I don't use the built-in creator tool that comes with Spyrus as it doesn't know how to append a pre-staged media that was created by SCCM that should apply the Windows file system to a second partition and the WinPE to the first partition.
I managed to do everything. my only problem is that the WTGCreator that comes with SCCM 2012 R2 creates the 350MB partition with FAT32 file system.
when I boot from the device I get the WinPE, I can choose a task sequence and then it fails when trying to apply the wim file. the error tells me that the 350MB partition is FAT32 which is not supported (even though it chooses the second partition, which
is all the rest of the disk space)
what I did was adding another task that converts the 32 Fat partition to an NTFS partition and then the process continues and finishes successfully! but that's a workaround.
I'm trying to make this process as smooth as possible without having additional steps

  • Using Disc Utility to copy my hard drive to a brand new external drive and am having the error "Unable to create...(Cannot allocate memory)".

I'm not very tech savvy but am trying my best to use Disc Utility to copy my hard drive to a brand new external drive and am having the error "Unable to create...(Cannot allocate memory)".
Last night no problems, woke this morning and it was freezing so I forced a restart and got the grey screen with the folder and question mark. Ran off to best buy to get an external drive... Please help! Thank you!

I have done both. When I hold down the "C" key it pauses for a few seconds while the cd spins and then the flashing folder icon appears.
Could be you have the wrong cd/dvd.  The mac will only boot a supported cd/dvd for your machine. The flashing question mark indicdates your machine could not find a valid os.
When I hold down the "option" key for the startup manager the cursor comes up and moves but the actually manager doesn't come up no matter how long I leave the laptop on.
Not sure.  Could be your machine does not support the startup manager. You would think the machine would ignore the key.
Where did you get the dvd?  What is the number on the DVD?
What machine do you have anyway?
