ERROR: Page is modified since you opened it!!

Hi All,
I have inserted sharepoint 'view' in page and in another page i have called that page using ajax call with custom filter vales, so the view has been displayed without any problem.
Now the problem is when i click the column name in the 'view' to 'sort' or 'filter' the page refreshes and throws the "ERROR:The page is modified since you opened it". I have tried this solution

Error: This Page has been modified since you opened it. You must open the page again.
Solution: If this is continually happening while editing a page using the browser the page may be detached from the page layout. Open SPD and reattach the page to its page layout.
Also check this if you have set the PostBackUrl of a LinkButton to the DefaultViewUrl of a list.
Solution: Using a HyperLink and setting the NavigateUrl to the DefaultViewUrl resolved the problem.

Error page when modifying a view

Hello,
i have a problem that seems to come from nowhere when i try to add or modify an element (label, inputfield...) in a view :
the view window displays an error html page saying that the program can't display the web page.
If i close the view and open it again, the modifications i've done appear but then again, if i try to change anything, the error page is displayed.
Does anybody have a clue of howw to solve this ?

Save and Close goes to error page after modifying List in Infopath

HT1338 pdf attachments and excel spreadsheet attachments are opening as winmail.dat and the pages are blank when you open them.

All of a sudden the e-mail attachments I send to my MacBook Pro from my PC Laptop open up as winmail.dat as a blank sheet of paper. This only started happening within the last week. Before that everything was fine. I check my PC and confirmed the attachments are set up to be sent in HTML. Any suggestions?

I am having the same issue.
Luckily I have only migrated my own mailbox to office365.
Tried both true and false TNEFEnabled on both onpremise and office365 via powershell and confirmed that both have been applied.
If I send the email as a plain text then the attachment works ok. If I send it as HTML then I get winmail.dat.
The above KB doesnt really help me, sending plain text emails is like going back to the dark ages!
I am sending from outlook to outlook (I send from my external email address, to my work email address and visa-versa)
If someone with an onpremise mailbox sends me an email, the attachment works ok.
If someone sends me an attachment via hotmail, the attachment works ok.
It seems to only effect emails I send to myself through outlook, i am sending it through a POP3 account to our onpremise exchange 2010 which forwards the email to office365

so.. when i tried to login to my account in a website.. i got the message i copied below. I never had problems going in it before. It happened right after I installed the latest firefox browser. I can't find the root directory they are talking about and dont really understand what to do. someone help me!

Same problem. Happened today as well... when trying to log into my MySpace account. Not sure what to do. I believe I had Firefox running at same time. But I did not install the lastest update... not today anyway.

A possible cause is security software (firewall,anti-virus) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.

This is regarding weblogic portal 8.1.
We have a portal project which contains several portlets. For handling exceptions
in a page flow we have a global error page at the project root level and each
portlet redirects to this error page /error.jsp in case of any errors.
When the user is redirected to this error page the page is displayed in the portlet
context. How can we make this error page to take up the whole screen and display
it outside of the portlet context so that all other links within the portal (books
and pages) are not displayed to the user.
In all cases, the redirection to the error page occurs from a page flow.

Also, you could do this:

In this case, handleAllExceptions() will redirect to the error page, which

Here are the options you've to address your use case:
- Handle the exception in the pageflow itself, and do a sendRedirect()

Problen with error-page in web-app

Anybody got working <error-page> in <web-app>?
As I can see, oc4j (1.0.2.2.1) forgots about contentType and sets application/jsp mime type for error page...

Did you ever figure this out... it's still happening with Oracle9iAS (9.0.2.0.0) ... and the error page tries to download.
If you had any luck with it, please let me know.

You are in a JSP page and an error is generated. You have indicated already that if an error is generated oin this page you should go to the Error JSP page.

Remember that these are relative URLs that are requried. So if you have your Error page in another directory, you must reflect that in your URL.

I have written a simple error page and now i want to place a resubmit button in it to take me back to the original jsp page from where the error was generated.

Your problem is most likely that your error page is generic and you don't know what the previous page is going to be.
In that case it's a question of how do you get to the error page. The page will have to know in some way what the previous page was and that's not going to be easy to fix. You would have to submit the pagename including the parameters to the error page before the user can be sent back, making sure that the page won't submit again when the user goes back to it.

Troubleshooting suggestions:
Ensure the page you are linking to exists in the correct folder.
Check your file name for case sensitivity . Index.htm is not the same as index.htm!
Temporarily disable any rewrite rules by renaming your .htaccess file if it exists
is the problem with

One Apple tech started to fix Iweb and had to end session and the next said problem with hosting at Network Solutions as it published
to local folder. NWS has checked sttting a few times-

The old computer is a 2.6 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo
The new one is a 2.3 GHz intel core i7
In going over this, thanks to "tallking it out" with you, I did discover the Text Edit problem. Because I've still been unable to get the new computer text size (fonts or whatever) to match the old computer, I did not notice that the curser is now different--the line midway down the curser has to be placed on the line I am working upon, otherwise the edits go elsewhere on the page. Now, with a bit of difficulty, I am able to get Text Edit to work correctly.
If you have any ideas as to why my menu bar and Text Edit type are still so slow, I'd love to have them.
(I went through the process you suggested earlier, re my Trackpad preferences, and found no improvement.)
