Error that method expects  double, but my variable is a double

im making a screenshot program
            Robot robot = new Robot();
            area = new Rectangle(Toolkit.getDefaultToolkit().getScreenSize());
            BufferedImage bufferedImage = robot.createScreenCapture(area);
            Image image = toImage(bufferedImage);it says area needs to be a double, and area is a double. even when i delcare area right there by putting double in front of that line i get the same error.

ok i changed some stuff up a bit after seeing what you guys pointed out
now i am left with
            Robot robot = new Robot();
            Rectangle area = new Rectangle();
            BufferedImage bufferedImage = new BufferedImage(100, 100, BufferedImage.TYPE_INT_RGB);
            area = new Rectangle(Toolkit.getDefaultToolkit().getScreenSize());
            bufferedImage = robot.createScreenCapture(area);
            Image image = toImage(bufferedImage);but its telling me toImage isnt a method in java.awt.image.BufferedImage (and i checked the api and its not a method there).
So what would I use to make it an image? Here is the whole thing::
            Robot robot = new Robot();
            Rectangle area = new Rectangle();
            BufferedImage bufferedImage = new BufferedImage(100, 100, BufferedImage.TYPE_INT_RGB);
            area = new Rectangle(Toolkit.getDefaultToolkit().getScreenSize());
            bufferedImage = robot.createScreenCapture(area);
            Image image = toImage(bufferedImage);
            try
                FileOutputStream output = new FileOutputStream("screen.jpg");
                JPEGImageEncoder encoder = JPEGCodec.createJPEGEncoder(output);
                encoder.encode(bufferedImage);
                output.flush();
                output.close();
                log.append((new java.util.Date()) + " Image Captured");
            }

    Hello jaybearden,
    Thanks for the question. After reviewing your post, it sounds like you are not able to restore the iOS device since you get an error 9. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help the issue.

    I am trying to use apple configurator with ipads. I have been successful with preparing and supervising all ipads but one. When preparing it in configurator, I receive an error that it is refreshed but with an error. Under supervise, I am not able to add apps. I have erased all content to start over but this does not work either

    Are you trying to restore a backup, or just sync some apps? Do you have profiles installed on the device?
    Have you plugged the ipad into iTunes, and did a fresh install? I'm assuming the device went through the prepare setup properly. You many have to unsupervise it first, then plug it into iTunes to wipe it completely.
    I'd then do each step seperately. Prepare it, then install 1 app, if that works, try another app, then maybe a profile.

  • Problem With Remote, and strange error that crashes diagnos

    Hey guys. I'm a n00b to the forum, but I think this is my best hope. I'm having this problem getting my remote to work, and I'm getting an error that appears to common, but I haven't been able to find a solid solution. I can't do a reload, since I have savegame files that can't be backed up, and a large home-video backup on this computer. I don't have enough DVDs to back it all up onto. The one thing that I REALLY want to work is the Remote. For some reason it won't work. I know it isn't the battery, because it worked fine before I reloaded this system last (September?), and I have tried a new battery in it. I've also tried turning up the sensitivity settings. I've noticed the red light occaisionally flickers on the Creative Hub thing when I'm not even touching the remote. When I try to run the diagnostic program I get an error (The instruction at "0x77f536f7" memory "0x00000000". The memory could not be "written". Click OK to Terminate the program, or Click CANCEL to Debug the program) I've tried clicking CANCEL on this, and that does nothing but pop up the error message (The instruction at "0x084c42f" referenced memory at 0x00000008". The memory could not be "read". Click OK to terminate the program). Clicking OK on the previous window also gives you that error. Clicking OK on the error just mentioned closes down the diag program. I've tried using the Restore Defaults option, and that didn't fix the problem either. I've also run DocMemory on my computer, and according to it, my RAM is fine. As far as product updates go, I've downloaded them all and installed them all too. Everything works but the remote... and I think it may be partially b/c of the supposed RAM-based error. I haven't tried running it in safe mode yet... I'll try that and get back to you ASAP.

    btw: I often see these same errors when shutting down my computer.

    Okay, I just tried running the diag in safemode... still came up with the errors.

    Wardrich,
    There are a couple of things I would suggest. First off I would make sure that the remote control is enabled in Mediasource, it is not by default. To do this go into Mediasource and go to Tools/Settings. In here there is a remote control tab. Make sure the remote and the OSD is enabled in here. If it is then we need to look at doing a cleansweep and reinstall of the card. Here are the instructions on cleansweeping the card:

  • I am getting Render Filter error - Error in Symmetry initialization script: line 43: Variable name  expected. PLEASE HELP.

    Hi all,
    I have quit Creative Cloud. Checked for updates.
    Only activity that could have affected system files was to uninstall the CC apps, keeping the CC 2014 apps only.
    I need to use the render flame filter but I get the following error
    Error in Symmetry initialization script: line 43: Variable name expected
    I get this error with render tree and render frame.
    A response will be appreciated
    Thanks

    There is a "Symmetry Fill.jsx" script is Photoshop CC 2014 Preset Deco folder along with "Picture Frame.jsx" and "Tree.jsx" each of those scripts line 43 is a comment not executable code.  There are other scripts in that folder related the those rendering scripts could your folder have been corrupted somehow. I don't think uninstalling CC would have corrupted that folder for the doler fi not exist when CC was installed.
    Look at the line 43 in the files, Here is what I see on my Windows 7 Pro CC 2014 system

    Hopefully you know what an array is because you make good use of them. Hopefully you understand how to access elements in array, again because you make use of them. So given an array, at this point in time you are trying to make that array equal one value, what you want to do is give an index in that array a value, not the array itself. Specifically in your situation you want to iterate thru the array making each index equal to your equation. Again you have already done this before, so do it again.

    hi
    My query is running testing fine in RSECADMIN under some username..but when i try and open it using analyzer (under same username) it gives me error that "specify a value for variable posting period (single value entry, mandatry)" it does'nt even asks to enter variable values and gives this error message.
    However the same query appears to be working fine under different username.
    plz advise.

    Hi Abhinav,
    Just do one thing compare the Roles of two different users for which Query is getting executed and not.
    Check the Object S_RFC.
    Compare the Objects detail for Both the Users.
    Please Assign points if useful.

  • Error(5): java.util.zip.ZipException: invalid entry size (expected 2875 but

    Hi all!
    I'm getting this error when I try to execute my application in JDeveloper: Error(5): java.util.zip.ZipException: invalid entry size (expected 2875 but got 2845 bytes)
    This started to happen after I had checkout my application to CVSNT.
    Any help?
    P.S. I'm using JDeveloper 10.1.3 with CVSNT 2.5

    My cvswrappers file (CVSNT):
    *.cab -kb
    *.class -kb
    *.doc -kb
    *.dll -kb
    *.ear -kb
    *.exe -kb
    *.exp -kb
    *.fla -kb
    *.gif -kb
    *.gz -kb
    *.jar -kb
    *.jpg -kb
    *.jpeg -kb
    *.lib -kb
    *.msi -kb
    *.mso -kb
    *.pdf -kb
    *.pfw -kb
    *.png -kb
    *.ppt -kb
    *.sit -kb
    *.swf -kb
    *.tar -kb
    *.tlb -kb
    *.vsd -kb
    *.xls -kb
    *.war -kb
    *.wmz -kb
    *.zip -kb Via Tortoise client I can add and commit zip (jar) files in binary format and everything is OK.
    If I do that via Jdev, anybody who checkout that module from cvs have zip exception, because JDev didnt sent in binary format. How to setup that?
    Thanx

    Hi All,
    Error(7): java.util.zip.ZipException: invalid entry size (expected 813 but got 817 bytes)
    Today I opened my working project in Jdeveloper 10.1.3 version and as I compile the project, it gives me this error in all Jsf - Jsp pages.
    The line that it shows the above error in my pages is follows.
    <%@ taglib uri="http://java.sun.com/jsf/html" prefix="h"%>
    Any idea ? Till yesterday, I never got this error and all of sudden it started showing up.
    Your help appreciated.
    thanks,
    pp

    And just to add, nothing got checked out from repository (I mean CVS etc).
    I have this project and Jdev on my windows laptop. I just opened it and started getting this strange error. any idea ?

  • Workaround for "Expected expression but found end of line" error

    I have the following code
    tell application "Mail"
    set mymailList to {"[email protected]", "[email protected]", "[email protected]"}
    set myattachmentList to {"Macintosh HD:Users:SAM:Desktop:A1.xls", "Macintosh HD:Users:SAM:Desktop:A2.xls", "Macintosh HD:Users:SAM:Desktop:A3.xls"}
    set n to count items in mymailList
    set i to 0
    repeat n times
    set i to i + 1
    set var1 to item i of mymailList
    set var2 to item i of myattachmentList as alias
    set newmessage to make new outgoing message with properties {visible:true, subject:"Report", content:"Blah Blah Blah"}
    tell newmessage
    set sender to "Sam <[email protected]>"
    set visible to true
    make new to recipient at end of to recipients with properties {address:var1}
    tell content to make new attachment with properties {file name:var2} at after last paragraph
    end tell
    activate
    send newmessage
    end repeat
    end tell
    I would like to be able to paste the MailList and MailAttatchmentList values from a spreadsheet so that it would look something like this:
    tell application "Mail"
    set mymailList to {
    "[email protected]",
    "[email protected]",
    "[email protected]"
    set myattachmentList to {
    "Macintosh HD:Users:SAM:Desktop:A1.xls",
    "Macintosh HD:Users:SAM:Desktop:A2.xls",
    "Macintosh HD:Users:SAM:Desktop:A3.xls"
    set n to count items in mymailList
    set i to 0
    repeat n times
    set i to i + 1
    set var1 to item i of mymailList
    set var2 to item i of myattachmentList as alias
    set newmessage to make new outgoing message with properties {visible:true, subject:"Report", content:"Blah Blah Blah"}
    tell newmessage
    set sender to "Sam <[email protected]>"
    set visible to true
    make new to recipient at end of to recipients with properties {address:var1}
    tell content to make new attachment with properties {file name:var2} at after last paragraph
    end tell
    activate
    send newmessage
    end repeat
    end tell
    Is there something that I can put at the end of each value so that I avoid the "Expected expression but found end of line" error?
    Thanks!
    Sam

    You didn't need to post the entire script - just an example of the list format would have done
    Anyway, AppleScript uses option-return as a 'soft' return/line continuation character, so:
    set mymailList to {¬
    "[email protected]",¬
    "[email protected]",¬
    "[email protected]
    (where ¬ indicates an option-return) will work. I'm just not sure off hand how you'd automatically insert option-return characters coming out of Excel...

    Thank you.

    I have had this problem and I found that I was sending elements in a different order than the order specified in the WSDL. The elements don't all have to be present, but any that are present need to be in the same sequence.
