Error trying to Buy using shopping cart

Hi,
I added the iTunes Essentials: Green Day - The Basics, to my shopping cart yesterday. When I go to the cart and click Buy, I get the following message: +"Purchase of this item is not currently available. This item is being modified. Please try again later."+ Any ideas about what might be going on here? Is there any way to contact Apple about this problem?

I contacted support and got some "canned" answer about trying again in 72 hours. I tried removing the songs from the cart and re-adding them, but that didn't work either. I'm going to try and buy it directly instead of adding it to my cart and see what happens then. I don't hold out much hope.

I am able to access the Music Store just fine, but when trying to access my shopping cart I get the following error:
We could not complete your Music Store request. An unknown error occurred (502).
There was an error in the Music Store. Please try again later.
I closed and restarted iTunes to no avail. A search of discussions, and support turned up little.
I bought music just fine a few weeks ago.

Where did you see that message? I've been having problems, like everyone else seems to be. When I try to make a purchase, sometimes iTunes tells me my credit card info has expired (it hasn't), that the server cannot be found, or some other problem.

One line item missing from PO created using Shopping cart

Hello Team, we have raised a shopping cart with 6 line items, having the same vendor and account assignment details. Once the shopping cart was approved the PO was created but the 3rd line item was missing in the PO. When we checked in BBP_PD, the 3rd line item is still showing as item in transfer process. Can anyone please throw some light to this issue. All the line items were approved.

Drop Down List empty when user trying to create a Shopping Cart.

Hi,
While Creating a Shopping cart.User is unable to select a vendor or a category from the drop down list,As the Drop down list is empty.I have Checked The Extended Attributes Tab for the user in PPOMA_BBP tcode.Are There any other configurations to be checked.

Thanks For your reply.The User is trying to create a Shopping cart,Whilst creating it he is trying to select a Vendor from the Drop downlist.But the drop down list is showing up empty values.The User is unable to pass the vendor to the shopping cart from the drop down list.

Error in SOCO while trying to process a shopping cart

Hi SRM Experts,
We have SRM 7.0 with extended classic scneario. I have created free text shopping cart ordered successfully.
The status of SC is "approved". The SC is sourcing enabled. When I go to Sourcing cockpit and select the requisiton and press NEXT (for further further processing of assigning sourcing and creating draft PO), there is an error
"Requistion xxxx cannot be opened in edit mode".
I have tried with different sets of user s. Also, checked the SC in BBP_PD there are no error messages displayed.
Can you please help how to overcome this issue.

Fatal Error encountered while creating a Shopping Cart.

Hello people,
Im an amateur ABAP/WDJ Developer, and i am facing a serious issue,i would be so glad if anyone can help me out with this.
When i create a shopping cart on the portal, it goes all smooth until the checkout, when i click on checkout, it flashes an error...
"Fatal Error: com.sap.engine.lib.xml.parser.ParserException: Incorrect encoded sequence detected at character (hex) 0xa0, (bin) 10100000. Check whether the input parsed contains correctly encoded characters. Encoding used is: 'utf-8'(:main:, row:2, col:59)Exception"
I have tried taking traces and have have gone through the FMs that are called from the SRM, but with no luck.
Can anyone please help me out with this?

Did you get this issue resolved. We're having a similar problem. When the data is entered into the Shopping Cart Name field, it sometime has Hex "C2A0" which looks like the Unicode representation of the UTF-8 Non-Repeating Space character. This is user entered data and my initial thought was that they were copying and pasting from a web site, but the user claims not.

Display error message from SLG1 on shopping cart screen

I have implemented a 'BBP_CATALOG_TRANSFER' badi. I am adding all the custom error messages in ET_SC_MESSAGES export parameter of this badi. As a result of this, all the custom error messages added in the above parameter, gets logged in the application log SLG1 automatically and I can see those custom messages in SLG1. Now how to display this message from SLG1 on the shopping cart screen on the top where you normally see standard error messages in red.
Can anyone please help me on this?

Which SRM version are you using ?
I have not tried this... but I think this is not possible to display error messages
using BBP_CATALOG_TRANSFER BADI.
Try to code your logic in using BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI for filter type - BUS2121 (shopping cart). You need to add your custom message in ET_MESSAGES [] table.

Error while creating Multiple Items Shopping Cart with Asset Assignment

Hi All,
I am creating Shopping Cart with multiple items for different Assets.
Example: I have Two Assets (Asset A with the budget of $1000 and Asset B with the Budget of $1500) in the back end system.
Asset A assigned to Order 102649996 (value - $1000) and Asset B is assigned to Order 102645121 (Value - $1500).
I am trying to create Shopping Cart with Two Items for Asset A and Asset B (which are available in Back End).
I created First item (001) in the Shopping Cart for Asset A and Value $750.
I copied the First Item Details to Second Item (002) and changed the Asset as B and Value $1000.
When I click on Check tab in Shopping Cart Browser, the SRM System is giving the Error Message like
Item 001 Order 102649996 budget exceeded
Item 002 Order 102649996 budget exceeded
I am getting the above error, only when I copy the first item details to the second item while creating Shopping Cart.
Actually the Budget is not exceeded (Asset A Budget is $1000 - First Item and Asset B Budget is $1500 - Second Item) and SRM system is taking the order 102649996 (which is assigned to the Asset A) for the Second Item 002 also.
Kindly let me know the Solution or Please let me know do we have any OSS note to resolve the issue.

Hi. It is a "feature" of SRM.
I asked SAP about it and did not get a good response.
If you enter Asset A, it will copy the internal order number from that asset into the cart. You can not see the internal order in the web, but you can see it in BBP_PD.
If you then change the asset to asset B, it will not refresh the internal order number.
This means you get internal order A on asset B.
It happens any time you change asset number, so if you copy a line then change you will get this problem.
We ended up using the BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI to RFC into R/3 and update the internal order number.

Error while adding items to shopping cart

We have SRM Server 5 with integrated ITS. We are at patch level - Basis/ABAP at 12 & SRM at 5 (all latest).We have an error as below.
We are able to login & go till "Shopping Cart". But when we try to add an item quantity through the path
-Shop->Internal Goods/Services->Start->Laptops->Quantity(1), it throws an error as
"The URL http://<host.domain-name>:8000/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpsc02/~flNUQVRFPTI3OTcyLjAwMy4wMi4wMQ== was not called due to an error."
It also gives a dump in ST22 as
Runtime Errors UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION
Except. CX_BBP_PD_ABORT
Only thing I am not sure of the configuration is the table entries in TWPURLSVR.
Would appreciate a quick response.

I want to clarify a point made by Vadim regarding the use of IPC. IPC is NOT mandatory for SRM if you are only using the EBP component in classic mode - in the short term this can make things easier to deal with. If are not in classic mode then you must address your IPC issue.
See OSS note 539720 for all requirements to utilize simplified pricing w/out the IPC.
The solution per the OSS note is listed below:
'Simplified pricing (classic scenario)' is available as of SRM Release 2.0 Support Package 03. If you want to use simplified pricing, you must also carry out the following steps:
a) ACTIVATE implementation of BBP_PRODUCT_PRICE in the BBP_PRICEDATA_READ BADI
b) DEACTIVATE implementation of IPC_UPD_PROD_BUFFER in the PRODUCT_UPDATE2 BADI (EBP 3.5 and SRM 3.0)
c) DEACTIVATE implementation of CRMB_BBP_PRICINGINIT in the PRC_PRICING_INIT BADI (EBP 3.5 only). Use Transaction SE18.
The first BAdI controls whether simplified pricing should be used and reads the price data from the product master, if required. The second BAdI updates the price data in the IPC if changes were made in the product master (EBP 3.5 and SRM 3.0 only). The third BAdI controls whether obsolete ABAP pricing (BAdI activated), IPC or simplified pricing (EBP 3.5 only) should be used.
You always have the option to change from simplified pricing to normal pricing using IPC. You can change from IPC pricing to simplified pricing in accordance with the above restrictions. However, avoid repeatedly changing the pricing method.

We have done all the IPC(4.0 SP08) settings on SRM 4.0..but the problem now is while adding the items to the shopping cart..we are getting the following errors :
1>No logical system for FI maintained.
2>Enter the company code
We have maintained the tax settings in EBP but no success.Can this be due to some wrong client settings in IPC?We dont have much knowledge of IPC settings in SRM.

Are you in the same org to which that employee location points. If the employee uses another org than he assigned to it will throw error..

Error in workflow while rejecting shopping cart

Hi,
When i am using the standard 2 step shopping cart approval workflow WS1000031 the work item reaches the inbox of first level approver but when i reject the shopping cart the workflow goes into error. The error shown is (( Object CL_BBP_ACTION_NOTIFICATION_WF method SEND_PARAM_MESSAGE_WF cannot be executed )).
The standard task which gives the error is TS10407929 which is inside sub workflow WS10400026 which is again inside sub workflow
WS10400051.
Can you help me.

App Store not using Shopping Cart

I'm trying to select apps for my iPod Touch and just noticed that when I select an app from the App Store, it is automatically downloading and purchasing the app instead of putting it in the Shopping Cart. I have specified in Preferences for the iTunes Store to use the Shopping Cart. Shouldn't the App Store use this Preference?

Using shopping cart campaigns

I'm trying to set up a campaign that uses the "The value of items in the
cart is a certain amount" condition. The documentation says, "To use this
condition your portal application must have commerce services enabled and a
shopping cart configured." How must the cart be configured? I assume it must
be in the session with some BEA-specific name, but can't find the doc that
confirms this.
Any links to useful doc would be appreciated.

Error in creating PO from shopping cart

While creating PO from Shopping Cart in SRM, we are getting the error message "Net price must be grater than 0" and the PO is not getting generated.

Are you creating PO directly from shopping cart or through PR.If through PR (Purcahse requisation) then chack the valution price in valution tab in PR (ME53N)
PO directly from shopping cart then check the price in Basic data of the shopping cart.if price is there it should reflect in PO.Check your shopping cart free Zero value shopping cart.

Error while adding items to Shopping cart in requisition creation

Hi,
I am facing a strange issue in 11.5.10 for iProcurement. While creating a requisition through "Non-Catalog-Request", I am not able to add items to the cart. It shows me an error page and is a null-pointer exception. I investigated this issue and found out that there is a location in the employee form. The application does not throw any error when a valid location is supplied. But i got to know that users should be able to create requisitions without any error. This happens to be true in 11.5.8 version of iProcurement where i saw no value entered for location.
I am not sure of the set ups required in this case. I found few articles in metalink but implementing those did not give me a solution for this.
Kindly advice, if there is some set up to be done.
