Error when deleting and registering an xml schema

Why do I get an error saying that my schema 'xsd/Envelope.xsd' already exists when I try to register it and yet I cannot delete it and it does not exist in the USER_XML_SCHEMAS table?

    Also i'd like to know what the best way is to insert 10.000s of XML documents in the database, is it possible to 'upload' them to the server, or will i always have to use an INSERT query to do this?
    I hope i gave enough information.

    THis looks wrong to me
    XDBURIType('D:\Stage\Results\XSD_Target\www.ariase.com.xsd').
    xdburitype() is used to reference an XML document that already been loaded into the XDB repository.
    You can load the document using FTP or WEBDAV or BFILENAME to any folder that already exists and you have write access to. By default this will probably be '/public' unless you have loaded the xdb_utilities package which is posted in this forum and create a '/home' folder for your user. For instance if you loaded the XSD into '/public' your code would look something like this..
    xdburitype('/public/www.ariase.com').getClob()
    However that would typically generate an error like this
    'SQL> exec DBMS_XMLSCHEMA.registerSchema('www.ariase.com.xsd', XDBURIType('D:\Stage\Results\XSD_Target\www.ariase.com.xsd').getClob(),TRUE,TR
    UE,FALSE,TRUE);

  • Attribute change run fails - "Error when deleting the data record /B05/X.."

    Hello,
    I get the error message "Error when deleting the data record /B05/X.." on doing the change run.
    I have already done RSRV on this objects and found no errors, but still the activation fails.
    please give your suggestions ASAP to fix the issue as it is on production system.
    Thanks.

    Attribute change run could fails due to 2 reasons-
    (1) attribute xchange run is already runnnig for any toher object(monitor lock) (check by thi prog-RSDDS_CHANGERUN_MONITOR)
    (2) data is loading deleting from the object on which attribut changerun is running.(go in a manage tab and check)
    check this two conditions and rerun the attribute changrun again from program - RSDDS_AGGREGATES_MAINTAIN and give the master data name in the selection.
    Hope it helps you.

  • Error when login and authorizing my new computor

    error when login and authorizing my new computor

    Zachy,
    It goes something like this...
    Put your new drive in the enclosure. Use Disk Utility to format it, etc. I'd give it a slightly different name than the original. Let's say you have Old Disk and New Disk as your drive names. Use Carbon Copy Cloner to copy Old Disk to New Disk. Now you should have an exact copy, which you can test by rebooting and holding down the Option key. Choose New Disk from the list and let it boot, make sure all is well.
    Shut down and physically swap the drives. Take Old Disk and put it in the enclosure. Now your system has a new disk with a lot more space and you can reformat your old disk and just use it for large files or whatever.

  • Get "version error" when try to register 7940 phone

    When I try to register a cisco 7940 iphone I get the "version error" - from research it said to double check to make sure you have the right model phone. I do have the correct phone type specified but still gets this error
    When an attempt is made to register a new phone, the Cisco IP phone screen displays version error, and the phone gets stuck in this stage.
    This issue occurs when the wrong phone type is chosen on the Device > Phone configuration on the CallManager Administration page. Choose the correct phone type to resolve the issue.
    Anyone else running into this issue ? Any advise ? I tried 3 different 7940 phones and get the same "version error". I tried using a template when adding the phone as well as creating manualy the new phone but still same "version error"

    Try to delete and Re-add the phone back to CUCM and they try to register the phone.

  • Error when Packaging and PDF'ing File

    I am curently involved in creating a comprehensive brand book (60 pages) for our company in InDesign CS4 and seem to have a problem when I PDF or go to package the InDesign file. The message I get is:
    "Error encountered while reading JPEG image. Image may be damaged or incompatible. Resave the image with different settings and try again."
    Funny thing is when I close InDesign and re-open the file, then go to PDF it works fine. But then after I have worked on it and go to re-PDF it starts Ok but gets to about page 18 and the error pops up. I get the same error when I go to package the file even in the package summary - could not figure out what was wrong. I tried deleting all images off that page then re-PDF and still does not work.
    What's worse is that InDesign does not provide detailed information regarding the image or error, I had to look where the bar stopped while I was in the process of PDF to figure out what page the image is on.
    Can anyone shed some light on this?
    Thanks

    Here is an earlier thread discussing this problem:

  • BEx error when deleting a query in BWD

    Hi All,
    I am getting error "BEx Transport request ‘BWD903385’ is not available or not suitable" when trying to delete a query in BEx in BWD. Does any body knows the solution to this. Thanks in advance and I will assign points.

    Hi Toja,
    It means that this query has been transported to other systems and so you need an open transport request to capture this delete and send it to other systems. Please create a new request and assign it to the Dev Package that this query is assigned to (RSA1 > Transport connection > Bex Truck icon). Then log back into Bex and try to delete the query.
    Hope this helps...

  • Mapping CLOB and Long in xml schema

    Hi,
    I am creating an xml schema to map some user defined database objects. For example, for a column which is defined as VARCHAR2 in the database, I have the following xsd type mapping.
    <xsd:element name="Currency" type="xsd:string" />
    If the oracle column is CLOB or Long(Oracle datatype), could you please tell me how I can map it in the xml schema? I do not want to use Oracle SQL type like:
    xdb:SQLType="CLOB" since I need a generic type mapping to CLOB. Would xsd:string still hold good for CLOB as well as Long(Oracle datatype) ?
    Please help.
    Thanks,
    Vadi.

    The problem is that LONGs are not buffered but are read from the wire in the order defined. The problem is the same as
    rs = stmt.executeQuery("select myLong, myNumber from tab");
    while (rs.next()) {
    int n = rs.getInt(2);
    String s = rs.getString(1);
    The above will fail for the same reason. When the statement is executed the LONG is not read immediately. It is buffered in the server waiting to be read. When getInt is called the driver reads the bytes of the LONG and throws them away so that it can get to the NUMBER and read it. Then when getString is called the LONG value is gone so you get an exception.
    Similar problem here. When the query is executed the CLOB and BLOB locators are read from the wire, but the LONG is buffered in the server waiting to be read. When Clob.getString is called, it has to talk to the server to get the value of the CLOB, so it reads the LONG bytes from the wire and throws them away. That clears the connection so that it can ask the server for the CLOB bytes. When the code reads the LONG value, those bytes are gone so you get an exception.
    This is a long standing restriction on using LONG and LONG RAW values and is a result of the network protocol. It is one of the reasons that Oracle deprecates LONGs and recommends using BLOBs and CLOBs instead.

  • BAD PARAMETER Error when Deleting Pages in Acrobat

    When I attempted to delete pages in Acrobat Standard, I received an information error stating:
    Bad Parameter
    When I try to click ok on the error message, it just keeps coming back over and over again. There is no way to get rid of the error message so I am forced to end the program using the Windows Task Manager.
    Has anyone seen this error message before and if so, is there a fix?
    Any help is greatly appreciated!!
    Thanks!
    ~Q

    Hello,
    This is an incredably annoying error. I had a complete manuscript ready for print, except I needed to delete one page, which of course Acrobat would not let me. I had spent a considerable amount of energy on the page numbering, bookmarks etc., so creating a completely new PDF by for example printing to PDF was out of the question.
    In the end, I ended up extracting all the pages in the document, except the one I wanted to delete. This way, I ended up with a new PDF, but all of the bookmarks, page number formatting, etc. migrated together with the extracted pages to the new document.
    Hopefully, Adobe will be able to fix this issue soon.
