Error when running requests

Hi
We have Oracle EBS R12 on Unix machines.
we cloned the production to another instance and every thing ran like a charm
now, when I run any request it completes with error in the log:
REP-3000: Internal error starting Oracle Toolkit.
REP-3000: Internal error starting Oracle Toolkit.
REP-0069: Internal error
REP-57054: In-process job terminated:Terminated with error:
REP-3000: Internal error starting Oracle Toolkit.
Program exited with status 1
Concurrent Manager encountered an error while running Oracle*Report for your concurrent request 427765.
Review your concurrent request log and/or report output file for more detailed information.

In oracle 11i General Ledger I find No Managers error when run Requests after posting a journal or any other task. So I deactivated the Managers and Try to activate again. But the activate option is in not active. I am not able to update sleep cycles and no prograrammes to run.

If yes, use Putty and logging as appsuser.
Go to location
# cd /COMMON_TOP/admin/scripts (or $ADMIN_SCRIPTS_HOME)
1. Check status of concurrent manager
sh adcmctl.sh status apps/appspswd
2. Shutdown the concurrent manager
sh adcmctl.sh stop apps/appspswd
2. Start the concurrent manager
sh adcmctl.sh start apps/appspswd
If you still having trouble with this, please inform your DBA regarding this issue.

ORA-06502 - Error when running "Ask The Expert 0.9"

Hi ,
I successfully installed "Ask the Expert" package with Apex 3.0 on Oracle 10g Database 10.2.0.1.0. No error ocurred during the import in my Apex environment.
Besides that, i'm having problems when i tried to run the "Aks the Expert". It always shows the following message errors:
ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character string buffer too small
Error Unable to write activity log.
I think it was a problem with APEX instalation, but i could run the Sample Application of Apex without any problem.
I opened an SR in Metalink, but to my surprise, the analist of support don't know what's wrong with the demo "Ask de Expert".

Error when running smart issue

We are experiencing an error when running most any smart issues in our system. The smart issue 'executes', and then fails, with the following stack trace:

The user performing the smart issue has read permissions on the specifications, and is also in all 3 of the smart issue groups. This happens with multiple users when issuing multiple different specifications. Any thoughts?

Smart Issue Requests are executed by the remoting container. It sounds like the remoting container user doesn't have access to the specifications.
I believe this user is set in environment settings with the Prodika.RemotingContainer.SysUser node.

Tomcat 5.5 is using Servlet 2.4 & JSP 2.0.
Have you compiled the taglib using the correct version of servlet.jar ?

URL error when processing request ITS 6.40

Hi all
I have a problem at customers site and below is a description of the case. All input in this issue is appreciated of course since I am running out of ideas.
Problem:
When accessing transaction WW20 via internet explorer (http://server.domain:8000/sap/bc/gui/its/ww20?sap-client=100) I got an error when processing request.
It basicly says: Communcatione failure. However ST22 and SM21 does not say anything about this.
The errorcode on the webpage returns:
Error code: ICF-IE-http -c: 100 -u: IAMWEB -I: E -s: KAY -i: ksnoka_70_KAY_01 -w: 0 -d: 20080702 -t: 153240 -v: IMC_CANCEL_TX -e:
note: KAY is SID for the system and ksnoka is the hostname of the windows server.
OBS: Calling transaction WW20 in sapgui localy works fine but not via ITS. Webgui works fine and I have checked follwoing:
- Paramteres in RZ10 - should be ok!
- SICM up and running
- run report RSXMB_ACTIVATE_ICF_SERVICES in SE38 successfully
- W3_publish_services in SE38 ticked all in package S_webgui and S_ITSP.
Note the WEBGUI service works well;
Also when I run a test link: "http://ksnoka70.corp.kagroupad.com:8000/sap/public/ping" It gives me a message "Server reached successfully" - so I assume it's all ok with the web serwer.
The customer has set up this WW20 transaction as a service in SICF.

Error when running a report in BPC NW

I am getting the following error when running a report for my application in BPC NW.
EVDRE encountered an error retrieving data from the Web Server (retrying in (X) seconds).
This error comes with this dialog option box to either continue or cancel retrying retrieving data. Retrying doesn't help either.
Any report I run (on any of my appsets), I get this error. I used the EVDRE function and also tried running a report using the template as the basis. But I get the error either way.
Does anyone know why this error is occurs or how to debug this issue. I saw some information about this in earlier threads but could not make much out of it.
Appreciate any assistance.

This is a very generic error...Couple of places to look for....
1)Reprocess the application (Modify application + Reassign SQL Index + Process Application)
2)optimizing the application sometimes helps (Full Optimize + Compress Database + Index defragmentation).
3)Create a "evdataserver_debug.txt" in user's private publication folder on server side to populate very detail level logging and check the log on client side EVDRE_LOG.txt for further peek into where things are getting messed up.
if evdataserver_debug.txt does not get populated on BPC 5.x...it is an issue with IIS authetication on Application server.
4)You have to check the event viewer into .NET server and also the BPC logs which can be found into
BPC\Logging for further details ..

Getting the following error when running a webi report on BI query :
A database error occured. The database error text is: The MDX query SELECT { [Measures].[D8JBFK099LLUVNLO7JY49FJKU] } ON COLUMNS , NON EMPTY [ZCOMPCODE].[LEVEL01].MEMBERS ON ROWS FROM [ZTEST_CUB/REP_20100723200521] failed to execute with the error Unknown error. (WIS 10901).
I have gone through many threads related to this error. But not able find the steps to follow for resoultion.
Please help in this regard.

did you check which servers has FSMO roles?
You can do that via command prompt: netdom query fsmo
For forestprep you must do that on DC which have Schema Operations marter role.
Command
Domain controller
Number of times to run the command
adprep /forestprep
Must be run on the schema operations master for the forest.
Once for the entire forest
adprep /domainprep
Must be run on the infrastructure operations master for the domain.
Once in each domain where you plan to install an additional domain controller that runs a later version of Windows Server than the latest version that is running in the domain.
Note
Domains where you will not add a new domain controller will be affected by adprep /forestprep, but they do not require you to run adprep /domainprep.

It can't find an Endeca specific class when running via the clover command line utility. Thus, the classpath being set in that shell script is not incorporating the .jar files where the endeca-specific classes are packaged. I would start by adding an line to see what your classpath is set to. There are actually already some lines of shell script in clover that you can uncomment to see what .jars are getting loaded:

I am trying to install SQL server 2012 Express on a windows 7 PC for 2 days now. I feel like banging my head against the wall.

ORA-04062 error when running forms with different users

ORA-04062 error when running forms with different users
I have a form that has a block that should display some data from another users tables. (The other user's name is dynamic, it's selected from a list box)
I wrote a stored procedure to get the data from other user's tables.
When I compile the form and run it with the same user I compiled, it works without any error. But when I run the compiled form with another user I get the ORA-04062 (signature of procedure has been changed) error.
I tried setting REMOTE_DEPENDENCIES_MODE to SIGNATURE in init.ora but it didn't help.
My Forms version is 6i with Patch 15.
Database version is 9.
Here is my stored procedure:

I would be happy to solve this problem. It's really important.
Maybe somebody can tell me another way to do what I want to do. (getting a list of values from another users tables)

I think it should be a better solution to create a package,
and put your own TYPES and procedure into it.
