Error when running the entity object

Hi Experts,
I am learning OAF. I created Application Module, and entity object for table emp and shcema apps.
While running entity object, it's throwing the following error.
Error(17,14): class practice_test_prc1.oracle.apps.mfg.simplepg.schema.server.EmpImpl should be declared abstract; it does not define method setLastUpdateLogin(oracle.jbo.domain.Number) of class oracle.apps.fnd.framework.server.OAEntityImpl
I changed the EmpImpl class as abstract;error was rectified.
I wanted to know why it's is giving that error, Did i make any mistake while creating the entity object?

It can't find an Endeca specific class when running via the clover command line utility. Thus, the classpath being set in that shell script is not incorporating the .jar files where the endeca-specific classes are packaged. I would start by adding an line to see what your classpath is set to. There are actually already some lines of shell script in clover that you can uncomment to see what .jars are getting loaded:

Error when running the ant task

Hi,
I got an error when running the ant from jdeveloper .I was running the to build my J2EE module which is build in Java 1.4 . I have changed my java home to JDK 1.4 and then run the ant build i got the following error .The class and ejbc compilation is completing nicely but the error is happening at jar creation .Please help me . One more thing ,when i run the ant task from the command prompt ,it is working fine .

ORA-03113 error when running the Java stored proc demos

Has anyone else run into this issue. When attempting to transfer an object type from Java to Oracle - through a Java stored proc - the session crashes with:

Has anyone successfully run those demos? Specifically the ones where complex types (table objects or the Point object) are passed back to Oracle from the JVM.
I would appreciate some help with this. The code works fine in a Windows or Solaris environment but barfs on Apple. Truly annoying....

Error when running the apxldimg.sql to update the images direct from rel3.0

My team member found another post that ran into the same problem and the section is for 11g only. My db is 9.2.0.5.

Verification error when run the game after download the jad/jar by OTA on BB 8300

On BB 8800, the jad/jar can be downloaded to the device, when run the game, there is a error msg "Error starting xxxx Module xxxx has verification error xxxx at offset xxxx", the version is OK on BB 8310, but failed on BB 8800 and 8300. I make the version by using proguard 3.8 and WTK22 preverify. I try RAPC preverify and failed again, use proguard 3.3.2 failed too.It seem that it is a compatible problem.
I check the article "Support - MIDlet has verification error at offset", and have no harvest.
BTW, the alx/jad/cod format works fine on BB 8800 and 8300.
How to fix the bug?

I got the same error while doing "dp.initialize()"
I fixed this error by chang the the "olap_api.jar class12.jar" to "o4j.jar".
But i can't explain that.
Can anyone tell me why?
By the way , the "olap_api.jar class12.jar" are copy from the %ORACLE_HOME%\10.2.0\db_1\olap\api\lib .

Error when run the transaction ES55 or ES56 of Connection Object

Dear Expert,
I like to say that our organzation is going to SAP 4.7 to 6.0. All the basis activity has been comlpleted & now its testing time.
I was faced the problem when create connection for Business partner. Actually when I write the t-code ES55 for creation of coonection Object in SAP menu path & press enter then show the error "system settings for the alternative labeling of functional locations have not been maintained in Customizing."
So I have activate the funclocation location alternative labelling. after that again run the T-Code es55 this time show the error "An alternative indicator is active in Customizing of the functional location. This functionality is not supported for connection objects and device locations"
Please suggest me how we customized the conection object 7 how will resolve the error.

Error when running the report

hello,
i am running a report, which has three parameters begin date, end date and dept full name.
for example when i am running the report with following parameter's works fine they are 01/01/2002, 02/02/2002 and dept name is Animal Control.
but when i am running the report with the following parameters its giving problem i.e.
01/01/2002, 02/02/2002 and dept name is Mayor's office its not running the report says command line syntax error rep-0159.
in the database the dept name is Like Mayor's office.
i dont know how to convert the apostrophe to a string or what ever, to get the report.
this is production problem.
please do help me out.

Hello!
I guess you are running your report using rwrun60.exe, probably in batch mode.
In such cases string parameter with single quote inside of it should be passed in a such way: rwrun60 ... paramname3='Mayor''s office' ...
In Reports 6.0.8.11.3 it works fine.
No problems at all if you are calling report from the Forms using run_product built-in and passing prameter list into the report.

Error when running the LabVIEW program

I'm newbie in LabVIEW....I have a problem when i'm running the LabVIEW program...i want to analyse data using the LabVIEW through the real experiment....
My problem is, there is an Error when i try to start the program...This Error forced me to restart the program several times until it can run.......By the way, i'm using Picoscopes 3206 to connect the LabVIEW program in PC with the real experiment.....

You have to try to isolate the problem...
Use 'Diagram disable' or 'Case' structure to run special part of code or try write a specific code to access and manage your equipment.
Several questions could help:
- Are you up to date with your hardware driver?
- Do you call external ressources (ex: dll)? perhaps with instability
- Do you properly close connection with your equipment after using?
- With your offline mode, do you load all the code, including hardware driver or do you use a special method without no loading the specific code?
- When you are able to run after many tries, is the program stable? Can you re-start it without exiting LabVIEW?

Error when running the Web Services java client file

Hi,
I am working on web services with 9iAS.
I am using the StatelessExample file included during installation.
The ear file was created and the application was deployed using OEM Web.
But when I try to execute the client java file StatelessClient. I get an error. The error is something about content type.
The error message is pasted below.
And also how do I run the web service on the browser.
Please help.

If you are getting this error, then you are most likely compiling your code with a different JVM than what is shipped with the application server. Oracle9iAS Release 2 (9.0.2) uses the JDK1.3.1. I got this error when I compiled the code with JDK1.4.0_01.
