Error when trying to email report using Analyzer for Excel template
I have a report for which I have created both "RTF" and "Analyzer for Excel" based templates. I can email the report using the RTF template, but when I try to email it using the A4E template (using the 'Send' button from the report screen), it never arrives. If I schedule the report to be emailed, it fails, and I get the following error information:
oracle.apps.xdo.servlet.scheduler.ProcessingException: oracle.apps.xdo.servlet.data.DataException: Invalid format requested: html
at oracle.apps.xdo.servlet.scheduler.XDOJob.generateReport(XDOJob.java:959)

Caused by: oracle.apps.xdo.servlet.data.DataException: Invalid format requested: html
Ideas?
HI,
Is this qury is running fine in SQL?? Have you checked this query in Sql server(Management studio) whether working or not??.
I feel there is some mismatch with relations in query.. Cross check your query once in SQL itself. once it is running well, we will take a look.

Error when trying to run report
Post Author: codyj
CA Forum: Publishing
I created a report (based on an Oracle database, connecting via ODBC) in CRXI Developer and it runs just fine. When I post it to our BO servers (one is 10, the other XI), I get the following error:
The database logon information for this report is either incomplete or incorrect.
I have verified the login info, it is the same that I am using on my workstation. I have also verified the ODBC on the server which also tests ok. I have tried setting the report to prompt for the login info, but it still does not work. I would like to be able to save the login info with the report, as it is supposed to run automatically.
Thanks in advance for your help.HI,

CRXIR2 - Report is stuck when trying to open report using RDC library
Hi,
I'm working on .Net reporting appliaction that uses CRXI R2 (Embedded Server) as a reporting engine.
I have a problem with a customer in prodction site,
when trying to open report with RDC library, report hangs and nothing happens:
applicationLog.WriteTrace("open report using RDC");
Report report = (ReportClass)application.OpenReport(this.tempFile, CROpenReportMethod.crOpenReportByTempCopy);
// tempFile is the path to the rpt file and it's valid
//application is ApplicationClass from CRAXDRT namespace
//ReportClass is from CRAXDRT namespace
applicationLog.WriteTrace("Open report succeeded")
I've added log printing to my application, and what i see is that the first print ("Open Report using RDC") occurs, and the second print is never listed..
I don't see any errors or log prints appear in Crystal logs.
Any help would be greatly appriciated!Hi Dana,
Long time since we've talked. I suggest logging a case in SMP. If you do let me know what the case number is and I'll pick it up. I'll also send you an e-mail....
I take that back, because R2 is no longer supported you can't log a case....
First issue is the RDC is not supported in .NET, second issue is the RDC is only available in CR XI R2 which is no longer supported.
And finally it's about time you update your app to use the CR .NET Assemblies. All of our OEM Partners are now doing so.
In the mean time these 2 are the only versions officially not supported:
https://smpdl.sap-ag.de/~sapidp/012002523100009114712011E/crxir2sp4_fullbuild.exe
https://smpdl.sap-ag.de/~sapidp/012002523100009114412011E/crxir2sp6_incremental.exe
See if these help. You can get the runtime distribution from here:
SAP Crystal Solutions Downloads
Install Fix Pack 6.4 to get all of the fixes and use the redist packages for that version also.
Thanks
Don

Shut down and restarted computer, "browser error" still pops up when trying to access documents using Google doc's.
Holding shift key and clicking refresh does not clear window.
What else can be done to clear the window and gain access to my documents?Hi,
Found a note explaining the significance of these errors.
It says:
"NZE-28862: SSL connection failed
Cause: This error occurred because the peer closed the connection.
Action: Enable Oracle Net tracing on both sides and examine the trace output. Contact Oracle Customer support with the trace output."

Client ADI App File Server Connection error when trying to publish report.
Our users are having intermittent problems when trying to publish reports from their Client ADI process to Excel. They are receiving the error:
"An error occurred while attempting to establish an Applications File Server Connection. There may be a network configuration problem, or the TNS listener may not be running. Nodename:"
The problem is this issue will be present for a user and then for no reason that user will be able to publish reports again. Or several users will get this error and one user will be able to publish reports. The only consistency is when it errors out they get this message. The listener appears to be up and running as well.
We are running 11.5.10.2 and ADI version: 7.2.12
Any helps or tips would be appreciated."An error occurred while attempting to establish an Applications File Server Connection. There may be a network configuration problem, or the TNS listener may not be running. Nodename:"Please see these MOS docs.

Thanks,
MikeHi Mike,
I remember, you had an issue that you had a corrupted OCR once. That seems to be the case here again....
In general, if SRVCTL complains that it cannot register a DB, since the DB with that name is already registered, this could be a sign that internally (obviously the former database does not show in the crs_stat output) Clusterware can still find fragments of the formerly registered DB. What you can try to do: run an ocrdump as root and check the output file for "m433ddg" and see whether it finds something.
Let me know, please. Thanks,
Markus

Hello Guys,
I am trying to configure the reporting for TFS using SQL Server. But I get following error when viewing any report:
So I try to manually process the cube to check if it works. I am following this article: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff400237.aspx
When I click on GetProcessingStatus and invoke it (with last field set as TRUE) I get following error:
Please advice as to how to resolve this issue and be able to see the reports.I have managed to resolve this issue. Note that for all purposes of this question and answer, mydomain\tfsadmin is a generic user (used to install all software). This is a proof of concept account, for test purposes
The thing is that while installation of the SQL Analysis service I had given the username: mydomain\tfsadmin (a generic user for testing) as the Analysis service administrator, instead of the 'Domain admin' group.
Still I have managed to resolve this issue.
Steps:
1. Make sure that the user (mydomain\tfsadmin) is a member of Analysis Server -> TFS_Analysis db -> Roles -> TFSWarehouseAdministrator and TFSWarehouseDataReader. (This actually happens automatically when you run the TFS Admin console and configure
reporting and provide the username that will access the Analysis db, etc. In my case the user is 'mydomain\tfsadmin')
2. It is a bad practice to manually process the cube (you can do this is make sure that there are no errors, but only after completing the following steps till step 5)
3. Also make sure that NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE is member of the Analysis db -> Roles -> TFSWarehouseAdministrator ->
this will resolve the error which appears in the 2nd screenshot in the question.
4. Then you can right click on the Analysis db and run process. If this is throwing error as shown in above reply of mine, then you need to follow https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/vstudio/ff400237.aspx
a. http://localhost:8080/tfs/TeamFoundation/Administration/v3.0/WarehouseControlService.asmx
b. Choose
ProcessWarehouse, run it.
c. Choose ProcessAnalysisDatabase, type 'Full' and run it.
d. Choose GetProcessingStatus,
enter 'TRUE' in last field and run it.
e. I don't get any errors at this point.
5. Now you can connect to the Analysis server via SQL Mgmt Console, right click on Analysis db (TFS_Analysis) and click Process. It all works good.
6. Now you can browse to the report URL (to get this URL you can open Team explorer 2013, connect to you team project, on RHS click 'Reports', Click 'Go to Site'.

Title was being interpretted by forums and resulted in unusable titleI was running into this same problem and found what is either a workaround or a solution. I have a XIr2 report that I defined to use a single Java Beans Connectivity connection, and 2 resultsets from this connection as the datasources ( i.e. MyReportDatasource.getResultSet1() and MyReportDatasource.getResultSet2() ). When I tried running my app, which was using JRC to populate the report datasources, I would get that 'Cannot modify a read-only collection' exception when I called getDatabaseController().setDataSource() on the second resultset.
To get past the error, I had to redefine the second resultset in the report as coming from a different JBC connection, so the end result was the report using 2 resultsets that come from 2 different JBC connections ( i.e. MyReportDataSource.getResultSet() and MySecondReportDataSource.getResultSet() ). When I did this, the report ran successfully. It looks like JRC doesn't like it when you to use multiple resultsets from the same JBC connection. -
I am trying to email a photo from iphoto using my gmail account. I am receiving this error that my email server doesn't recognize my username/password. I do have a different password for Gmail, should that matter? How can I correct this?
in the iPhoto preferences ==> accounts delete your e-mail account and reenter it
OR
IMHO the better solution is to set Apple mail as the email client in the iPhoto preferences

Why can't I open my iphoto when trying to email or useing wetransfer?
When I try to attach a photo through email (not using the app) or use WeTransfer for larger documents I cannot open iphoto like I used to. I recently updated my mac software to the newest one and then had to update iphoto to be compatable . The regular app works just like it used to but when I try to attach like i mentioned before it's just blank. None of my photo's or albums come up.
If you're referring to accessing the original image files via the Finder inside the library package that went out with iPhoto 7 (08). The library is not a package and access to the photos for use outside of iPhoto is thru iPhoto. The following User Tip by Terence Devlin is the best treatise on how to access photos (for use outside of iPhoto): How to Access Files in iPhoto.

My HP Photosmart 7510 e-All-in-One Printer - C311 will not retain my list of allowed users. In the eprint settings box, whenever I save them and close the browser, the list dosn't repopulate. Also when I check the efax enabler, it also cuts off once my browser is closed. I've reinstalled the software and all of that so whats next?? I'm on windows 7. 64 bits. I also get a 403 error when tryin g to send emails
Hi,
Please perform the following and check
1. Try to view the site in a different web browser to see if that's the issue. Normally, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox, and Safari all display the website properly. Try one or two of those (other than the one you've been using) and it should do the trick.
2. If that doesn't work, try resetting Internet Explorer's default settings by clicking "Tools" (on the top menu bar), "Internet Options" (usually at the bottom of that list), "Advanced" (far-right tab), and "Reset" (towards the bottom-right of that box). After resetting the defaults, try viewing the ePrint Settings area again.
Although I am an HP employee, I am speaking for myself and not for HP.

Error when trying to book an iPhone in for service (addrapi.08)
Hi all,
I've been trying to book an iPhone in for service via the Apple Support site for a few weeks now because my nearest Apple store is about an hour and a half away. Every time I try and do this I get this error after clicking continue after doing the my address section.
"Service is not available in this location. Please choose another solution (addrapi.08)"
I've had to book another iPhone in for service before and never had this error, and I've also tried doing it from another PC with a different IP etc.and I get the same issue.
Any help would be appreciated as I need to get my phone sorted

I'm going to assume base off that message is that whatever you need done to your iphone - that location doesn't do that kind of service. -
Internal server error when trying to submit report
Hi all,
I'm using Oracle Forms builder 10g. I'm trying to submit an oracle report via button in my form. The report is working fine in the DB and via the Oracle Report Builder 10g. But via the Application i receive Internal server error... We bounced the appache and the report starts to work but after logout and then login - the report throws Internal Server Error again...
Any ideas how is this possible? The functionality of the form is working properly - like creating new records and etc... but only the behavior of the report is not OK...
Thanks in advance,
Bahchevanov.I think this is what you want...

Makepkg would be better if ...
Well, I may be puting my foot in my mouth as I am far from being an expert at packaging. makepkg would be better if rather than directly call build() to compile and package, the process would be separated in 2 distincts functions: compile() and packa
