Error while allocating channel
Hi
We are trying to backup Oracle 11gr2 database using RMAN. The MML is provided by the vendor and we have linked the library with libobk.so. The server OS is Solaris 10 64 bit on AMD64 architecture.
When we try to run backup the RMAN returns with the error
"failed to load media management library".
sbttest returns with the following error
"ld.so.1: sbttest: fatal: /oracle/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/dbhome_1/lib/libobk.so: wrong ELF data format: ELFDATA2MSB"
Can anyone help us in resolving the issue.
Thanks in advance

Hello;
I would try to re-install Media management module for Oracle. This error tells me Oracle unable to communicate with the vendor's code.

Error BCOS088 "Error in local message system: Error while allocation..."
Hello,
I getting an error while creating a support message with "help->create support message".
The message number is BCOS088 "Error in local message system: Error while allocation: Overwrite a protected Message xxx not create."
I read a lot of threads about errors while creation of support message, but nothing helps.
Here are the facts:
- The error occurs on SolMan 4.0 system (sap basis rel. 7.0, SP15).
- BCOS_CUST: OSS_MSG | W | NONE | CUST620 | 1.0
- authorization trace without error
- DNO_CUST04: NO_USER_CHECK = X
So there is no authorization error, because of no RFC destination and successfully authorization trace.
What could be the reason of this error?
Thank you for answers, TinaHi Tina,
internal number range used for ABA Messages/Basis Notifications should match the external number range used for service desk messages.
For ABA messages:
Goto tx: DNO_CUST01 -> SLF1 -> Details
Should show number range 01
Number ranges for this object are defined via tx: DNO_NOTIF
For Service Desk Messages (Support Message SLFN):
Goto tx: SPRO -> "Check number range for Service Desk Message" -> SLFN -> Details
Should show number range 01 internal, 02 external
Number ranges for this object are defined via tx: CRMC_NR_RA_SERVICE
Number range 01 (internal) of ABA message should match number range 02 (external) of Support Message.
You may use other ranges but you should make sure they match.
Hope this helps. -
Error while configuring channels in B2B 11g
Hi b2bgurus,
I am implementing RosettaNet protocol in 11g. 3C3 Invoice Notification. While configuring channels i got this following error:
"Messages for this page are listed below.
Acme_Custom_V02.00_Invoice_Notification_Outbound is not valid. Please correct the following errors.
Error -: B2B-52255: Certificate alias not specified in the secure delivery channel Acme_Channel.
Error -: B2B-52326: Transport protocol with https url has to have valid keystore location and password in host "
I get the above error while I provide http url as input. Do we have a protocol where we can provide https url?
Please explain i am new to B2B.
Thanks in advanceget this error when i provide the url while channel creation. SSL is enabled by using BIG IP. Hence preparation of Key store is not requiredYou understanding is not correct. If you are initiating a SSL connection from Oracle B2B (by giving a HTTPS URL in delivery channel), then you have to configure identity and trust store in your Weblogic servers (SOA server) and you have to configure keystore on Oracle B2B console as well. As I mentioned earlier also refer the blog (http://anuj-dwivedi.blogspot.com/2010/10/enabling-ssl-on-oracle-b2b-11g.html) and perform the required steps.
If you don't configure a keystore then you CAN NOT initiate a SSL connection from Oracle B2B.
If you want Big IP to handle SSL then from Oracle B2B you have to initiate a plain HTTP connection and at BIG IP you have to route the request to the respective HTTPS channel (which I am not sure is possible though I am not familier with BIG IP)

SQL Error while allocating Products
I had a recipe by which I have created about 300 batches. For about 12-13 batches during product line allocation it takes the lot number & shows allocated qty. in Actual Qty.
But while saving it shows an error " SQL Error User-Defined Exception : Error Code is 1"
And Actual Qty. becomes Zero.
For all other batches there is no any problem.
Please do guide me.

Batches?
Product Line allocation?
You want to maybe use oracle terms?

CAN error while using Channel API
Hi
Please find attached error message and code. I am sending message "BS_200" to the CAN channel 0. I get reference of the message from the dbc file called A.dbc. Please let me know why does it show such an error message.
Thanks and Regards

test_2_Chnl api.vi 24 KBHello,
The maximum number of tasks you can have is 128, and the maximum number of messages is 272-number of tasks. It's weird that you are getting that error though, since you are only using one message in your VI. If you create a message in Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX) and try to use that in your program, do you still get the error? If you import the dbc file into MAX (Right-click on CAN Channels, and select "Import Import from CANdb file") and use the message from MAX in your program instead of from the the file, do you still get the errror? Do you get the error if you try to use a different message, or does it only occur with the "BS_200" message?
Please let me know what the results are, and I'll see if I can figure out what's going on here. Also, if it's possible for you to send me the dbc file you have (if it's not top secret), I could try to reproduce the error. Hope this helps! Thanks!

Agilent N6702A - Error While Configuring Channel 4
Hi Guys,
I'm using the Agilent N6700 LabVIEW drivers for configuring the instrument. I am able to configure the first 3 channels whithout any problem but when I try to configure the Channel 4, it throws and error -222 " Data Out Of Range". I'm able to configure the channel 4 physcally on the instrument but not from LabVIEW.
Has anyone faced this issue??
Any help would be appreciated.
regards,
Nitz
Solved!
Go to Solution.Hey Guys,
I kind of figured out the issue myself. The Channel 4 was grouped with Channel 3 in which case, only the lower channel (ch3) is configurable which will inturn configure the entire group. I was missing this point which I found in the data sheet.
Thank you all who looked into this post and tried to help.

Make sure that your connection pool settings are okay..
Make sure that, you are using correct driver in case of if you are using ODBC dsn..
Also make sure that, your oracle server is running... TNS and Oracle server services -

A buffer failed while allocating 10485088 bytes. - Error
Have you seen this error?
A buffer failed while allocating 10485088 bytes. I understand it's a memory problem with many lookups in full cache mode.
Is there a setting in SQL 2008r2 which could help eliminate this issue?
Thanks
gsIt's not a SQL Server problem - it's a package architecture problem. You're asking SSIS to retain too much in memory. SSIS can't reduce the amount of memory you've asked it to use - you have to ask it to use less. You can use some of the
techniques that are in the thread BIRocks mentioned.
Mucking with buffer sizes won't help you at all.
You're probably better off attempting to not use full caches on all those lookups. Cascading lookups might help you out, where you first try to hit a pregenerated cache (using the Cache Transformation) of "most used" cache values, then send no matches
to an uncached lookup. (See the
SSIS Team Blog series on Lookups.)
