Error while browsing assets | ATG10.2

Hi
we are getting the following error while browsing the assets in Content Administration
We upgraded our application from ATG9.4 to ATG10.2 and we are using WAS 7.0.0.25 as application server.

The issue of browsing assets is resolved now. I had to update the IBM SDK for Websphere to IBM SDK 1.6 SR10

FA Retirement- 21151: error while posting asset document: '100000039'

Hello Experts,
I have a client who encountered this error during fixed asset retirement - scrapping.
After selecting the asset to be retired, sap did not assign an account in the account column, but the user
was able to save the document. After saving it, the user needs to retire again another asset - scrapping, but the document would not be saved because of this error: 21151: error while posting asset document '100000039'. The document number the systems is referring to is the last document saved but sap did not assign an account code.
Please help. My client is using sap b1 8.81 patch5.

What we did is to put letters on the number so the series will continue example there is already 100333, 100334, 100335 since the error is encountered from 100333. We add 100333A, 100334A, 100335A.

Error while browsing RSViewer.aspx in SSRS

Hi,
I am getting the below error while browsing the RsViewer.aspx (Or rdl file). I have moved the rdl file from one environment (where I could browse the rdl file) to another environment. In the new environment, I am getting the below error while browing
the rdl file. Both environments are having the same configuration (SQL server 2008 R2 SP3).

According to your description, after you move SSRS report from one server to another, you got the error message when you preview the repot: Type 'System.Web.UI.WebControls.PlaceHolder' does not have a public property named 'style'.
As per my understanding, you are using object of System.Web.UI.WebControls.PlaceHolder while a different type was expected, this different type has style properties, which were needed for the report to run properly. It seems that you should be using System.Web.UI.WebControls.Style.

Error while posting asset aquisition

Hi to All,
I am getting following error while posting aquisition entry.
"Company code 211 manages parallel currencies in Asset Accounting. For each area that posts automatically online to FI, you have to define one dependent depreciation area that adopts both identical values and depreciation terms from depreciation area 01, and which is assigned to currency type 30 and currency GBP. There is no depreciation area of this type defined for depreciation area 01"
I had made all settings what the error says above but still error persists.

Error While Creating Asset Class

Hi Friends,
I am getting the following error in development client while creating the asset class AB2200.
"Screen Layout 200 was not created" but the same was created.
Please guide me how to handle this error and the reason for me getting this error message while creating asset class.

There are 2 things.. Create the screen layout and Define the screen layout... (IMG> AA > Master Data> Screen Layout for asset classes)
Complete both the steps here and specify the same sccreen layout in your asset class

Error while doing asset retiremnt entry

Hi,
While doing Asset Retiremnt through f-92 sale with revenue to customer.
Geeting error message as ' Auxiliary Account Assingment to asset not possible, remove entry"
I have given 1st line tem as customer account 2nd as asset sale offset account.
Also ticked on that asset retiremnt check box and selected appropriate asset.
Pls help...

Hi,
According to ur threat it seems like you have entered the asset number in account assignment part of document entry.
you are not suppose to enter any asset number, which is to be retired in the line item.
first line item will be customer Debit
second line item will be with posting key 50
GL account (Offsetting Account)
enter the value
dont enter the asset number in the asset number field.
just select asset retirement check box only
once you selected the asset retirement check box, you will get one pop up screen, it will ask you to enter the asset number, here only you are supposed to enter the asset number, asset value date, complete retiement check box (if you need ).
then press continue button
simulate
post
This will defenitely solves ur issue.

while posting asset acquisition in f-90 iam getting error that "asset is incomplete' when analysed using RAUNVA00 , it is asking to update field group-22 i.e scrap value, but this field is not found in asset master, pls help me.

In AS02 you go the Depreciation key and double click on the depreciation key. In the following screen "additional Specifications" you give Scrap value.

Looked up the problem. Response from Black berry support was that they know of the problem. There are certain scripts not yet supported by black berry. They are aware of this, and do not have a solution as of yet.

Does your category have custom dynamic properties with property-type="atg.repository.GroupMembersPropertyDescriptor" ? It seems as though you hit a code flow where the query builder tried to cast this atg.repository.GroupMembersPropertyDescriptor property to a specific property type, but failed.
What is different between this category and the ones that work - does an RQL query on this category versus others tell you?

This shows you an out-of-the-box example of a property called dynamicChildCategories that uses the GroupMembersPropertyDescriptor.
It is possible that this might just be misconfiguration, or might land up being a PR, so you should create a support ticket with the complete log file if you have not already done so.

Fixed asset error: 21151: error while posting asset document: '100000039'

Hello Experts,
How are you? We have a client who have encountered an error during fixed asset retirement thru scrappingu2026.In one retirement document, SAP did not assign an account in the account column but still the document was saved but with erroru2026On her next retirement document, she could no longer save her document and the error points to the last retirement document she has saved with error. We have tried to cancel the document and its journal entry but still she could no longer retire assets using scrapping. All other retirement transaction using scrapping could not be saved.
The client is using SAP B1 8.81 patch 5.

Error while creating asset master on a new company code

Hi there,
While trying to create a new asset master - Asset class XXX cannot be used in company code XXXX
    Message no. AA130
Diagnosis
    When you create an asset, the system determines the chart of
    depreciation from the company code definition. In order for a chart of
    depreciation to be available for an asset class during asset
    maintenance, the chart of depreciation has to be entered for that asset
    class (Determine class valuation). Chart of depreciation YYYY that was
    determined is not entered for asset class 123
System Response
    You cannot create any assets in your company code for this class.
Please revert if you have any details regarding this. I am sure I am getting this error because of a missing entry in v_ankbv. But i am not sure on what is the config step i m missing.

You need to configure the node 'Determine Depreciation Areas in the Asset Class' T Code-OAYZ.
Path : Financial Accounting (New) > Asset Accounting > Valuation > Determine Depreciation Areas in the Asset Class.
Assuming you have already done the other prior config steps involved like., Assign Chart of Depreciation to Company Code, Asset Classes etc.,

Procedure
Check the posting keys that are specified for Asset Management in the Customizing menu for Financial Accounting (under the menu option Business transactions).

Message no. AA810
Diagnosis
The account allocation 306000 of the group asset 360000 0 is different from account allocation 206000 of the asset.
System Response
This error needs to be corrected for balance sheet valuation (usually determined in depreciation area 01). For all other depreciation areas, this is only a warning you should check.
Procedure
Check your entry. When an individual asset has a different account assignment than the group asset, it is not possible to reconcile the individual asset to the group asset in reporting by means of accounts.
