Error while browsing RSViewer.aspx in SSRS

Hi,
I am getting the below error while browsing the RsViewer.aspx (Or rdl file). I have moved the rdl file from one environment (where I could browse the rdl file) to another environment. In the new environment, I am getting the below error while browing
the rdl file. Both environments are having the same configuration (SQL server 2008 R2 SP3).
"Type 'System.Web.UI.WebControls.PlaceHolder' does not have a public property named 'style' "

According to your description, after you move SSRS report from one server to another, you got the error message when you preview the repot: Type 'System.Web.UI.WebControls.PlaceHolder' does not have a public property named 'style'.
As per my understanding, you are using object of System.Web.UI.WebControls.PlaceHolder while a different type was expected, this different type has style properties, which were needed for the report to run properly. It seems that you should be using System.Web.UI.WebControls.Style.

While browsing any webpage running java. When asked a question. After I choose an answer. I receive this message "JavaScript&colon; An error occurred while executing a script." Can anyone help me with an update or something.

Looked up the problem. Response from Black berry support was that they know of the problem. There are certain scripts not yet supported by black berry. They are aware of this, and do not have a solution as of yet.

Does your category have custom dynamic properties with property-type="atg.repository.GroupMembersPropertyDescriptor" ? It seems as though you hit a code flow where the query builder tried to cast this atg.repository.GroupMembersPropertyDescriptor property to a specific property type, but failed.
What is different between this category and the ones that work - does an RQL query on this category versus others tell you?

For information on the GroupMembersPropertyDescriptor, look at in the Commerce Programming Guide at http://www.atg.com/repositories/ContentCatalogRepository_en/manuals/ATG9.1/commprog/wwhelp/wwhimpl/js/html/wwhelp.htm?href=CommerceProgrammingGuide.1.65.html . This shows you an out-of-the-box example of a property called dynamicChildCategories that uses the GroupMembersPropertyDescriptor.
It is possible that this might just be misconfiguration, or might land up being a PR, so you should create a support ticket with the complete log file if you have not already done so.

Are you making this selection on your device or when connected to the Desktop Software? If on your device, my advice is to stop...the on-device OTA update is, IMHO, dangerous. Rather, use the Desktop Software and then you can take a full backup to your computer, which will be forever preserved...the on-device update takes an on-device backup, but if anything goes wrong, that backup file is lost forever.
Please clarify exactly the steps you are taking to reach this error message. Also, please be sure to provide the exact and complete content of the error message.

Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you get error while running SSRS reports.
Basically, If the Request Management service is enabled, it manages all incoming requests by evaluating logic rules against the user requests in order to determine what\which action to take and which machine or machines (targets) in the farm should handle
the request.
By default the Request time out value for Request Management service are as follows,
RequestTimeout : 00:01:40
RequestExecutionTimeout : 01:00:00
So the error throws from RM service for those reports who take more than 1 minute to generate the report.
To solve this issue, we can stop the Request Management service.
Or increase the time out
value by making use of following PowerShell script.
$waUrl = "URLofWEbApp"
$wa = Get-SPWebApplication $waUrl
$rmSettings = $wa | Get-SPRequestManagementSettings
$req=$wa.RequestManagementSettings
$timeout2= New-TimeSpan -minutes 5
Sreq.Requesttimeout=$timeout2

Error while Accessing SSRS reports From Sharepoint

We have recently implemented Kerberos authentication on SSRS web application in QA environment and experiencing some issues.
There are two Web Front End servers WFE1, WFE2
and one APP server in the environment. SSRS is configured in
WFE 2 Server.
When users browse SSRS reports from server WFE1, below error comes up, while report works fine from SSRS (WFE 2) server.
SSRS Error:
For more information about this error navigate to the report server on the local server machine, or enable remote errors.
Please provide us some assistance in troubleshooting/resolving this issue ( it’s became critical at this point).

The ULS logs are located on the Hive/14 file servers. The error message you encountered should have given a guid error message. If you search for this within the logs, can you copy the messages here for communal feedback.

Error while uploading SSRS Reports to SharePoint Report Library

Dear All,
I am having a SSRS Server running in SharePoint integrated mode and I am running reports in SharePoint successfully, but I am facing issue with one site as shown below.
I am getting below error while uploading a report to specific path as shown below;
I can upload to any link but not for the below link shows /departments/ocean
I checked my ReportServer paths from RS Configuration Manager and I cannot find that defined path there. But I can see all other links are registered()
Note: Below shows my web applications in SharePoint farm(four web sites). I have define paths(site collections) only in default web application, not in other webs which has a port number.
I am not sure how the RS Configuration Manager picks thoae Define Manage Path in site collections.
But I think, it should pick department site collections as well.
Could you please guide me how to rectify above error?

Hi,
I recommend to check you can connect to the site collection in Report Builder.
If not, please check if you have permission to access the site collection.
Please also check if the Report Server Integration Feature is activated in the site collection.
To narrow the issue scope, I recommend to create a new site collection using the departments path in SharePoint to see if the issue still occurs.
As a workaround, you can also save the report to local drive and then upload it to SharePoint library using Upload Document button in the ribbon in SharePoint library.
In the meanwhile, you can post your question to the forum for SSRS: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/sqlserver/en-US/home?forum=sqlreportingservices.
More experts will assist you, then you will get more information relation to SSRS.

Javascript Error while executing BEx querry from browser

Hi Folks
We have been getting a number of Javascript errors while executing BEx querries from the browser.
The various errors that we have been getting are:
'SAPBWItemCatalog' is undefined
'SAPBWJSgdo' is null or not an object
'SAPBWShortCutCatalog' is undefined
We have already looked at SAP Note 783496 and validated the solution.
Is there some specific settings that needs to be maintained for this?

Check mime service in SICF - dafault_host/sap/bw/mime - if it's greyed out activate it.

I'm using SQL Server 2008R2 Reporting Services.
When i click on Web Services URL link it throws the below error.
"Report Server has encountered a SharePoint error. (rsSharePointError) Get Online Help
The system cannot find the path specified. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070003)"
and in the Event viewer i can see the below error for reporting services.
"Failed to unload app domain DefaultDomain. The following exception occurred: Error while unloading appdomain. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131015)."
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
