ERROR while loading time dimension table

i need to load time dimension from csv to oracle table, while loading i got the error.
my source data type is date and target is date.
ODI-1226: Step sample day fails after 1 attempt(s).
ODI-1240: Flow sample day fails while performing a Loading operation. This flow loads target table W_SAMPLE_DATE.
ODI-1228: Task SrcSet0 (Loading) fails on the target ORACLE connection Target_Oracle.
Caused By: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-30088: datetime/interval precision is out of range
while creating c$ table
create table WORKSCHEMA.C$_0W_SAMPLE_DATE
     C3_ROW_WID     NUMBER(10) NULL,
     C1_CALENDAR_DATE     TIMESTAMP() NULL,
     C2_DAY_DT     TIMESTAMP() NULL
)

check the source data and use the correct function eg TO_DATE(SRC.DATE, 'MM?DD/YYYY') use NVL if required.

  • Error While Loding Time Dimension

    Hello
    I have a requirement in which i need to load the data into Time dimension so i mapped the data from Time dimension which Oracle Creates
    While deploying i am getting an Error which says there is an error in Time Dimension Package which is created by oracle and
    Can anyone tell me where should i go to rectify the error
    Thanks
    Sriks

    Did the mapping validate ok?
    If validation was ok, locate the package on the DB (same name as mapping) and compile it, this should give you more information on what is causing the error e.g. table does not exist etc.

  • Error while loading the dimension through ODI

    Hi ALl,
    Here iam facing the different error,actually , i migrated all the cubes from dev server to integration server,and again i loaded and saved my rulefiles wen i loaded dimension its loading perfetly , so wen we arre loading the dimension through ODI package , but its all are fine for dev server we are getting the problem::::
    "Cannot build dimension. Analytic Server Error(1007083): Dimension build failed. There are many possible causes (for example, problem allocating memory). Check the server log file and the dimension build error file to locate the error that caused the failure..""
    then i tried in essbase , now its giving error cannot open object in the arbor path .otn file
    its not opening the .otn file, can any one help , it would be appriciated..
    Thanks

    The .otn file is created when essbase is restructuring and once completed renamed to otl, if it does not complete it can leave the .otn file.
    You should be able to delete the otn (maybe stop the application first) and open the outline.
    I would also check the logs generated from ODI and also the essbase app logs to troubleshoot the issue.

  • Error while loading data oracle table using xslt

    Hi
    I have an following xml:
    <TRAN TRAN_ID = "12" RCODE = "W"> <STATION>1234567</STATION> </TRAN>
    I have created the following xslt for the above xml:
    <?xml version="1.0"?> <xsl:stylesheet xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform" version="1.0"> <xsl:template match="TRAN"><xsl:value-of select="@TRAN_ID" /> <xsl:value-of select="@RCODE" /> </xsl:template> </xsl:stylesheet>
    I am trying to insert data into the table Tran having columns tran_id and rcode in oracle database 11g.
    I am getting the following error:
    ERROR at line 1:
    ORA-31011: XML parsing failed
    ORA-19202: Error occurred in XML processing

    ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_XMLSTORE", line 78
    ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_XMLSTORE", line 88
    Can anybody tell me if i am making a mistake in writing the xlst?
    Thanks in advance.

    Thank you for your reply. Currently i am using the insert using xmltable and it works fine. But i would like to use xsl if the dynamic passing of values is possible. Actually i want to store the xsl in a table and call it when needed to insert data to the database table (MSGS). Could you please give me an example of it?
    Here is the table structure i have in database:
    Table Name: Tran_data
    columns: SEQ NUMBER NOT NULL ,
    TRAN_ID VARCHAR2(6) NOT NULL ,
    RCODE VARCHAR2(30) NOT NULL ,
    TRAN_DT DATE NOT NULL ,
    xml_data xmltype
    Table Name : Msgs
    SEQ NUMBER NOT NULL,
    RULE_ID VARCHAR2(200) not null,
    MSG_TXT VARCHAR2(2000) NOT NULL,
    TRAN_DATA_SEQ NUMBER NOT NULL ,
    CREATE_USER VARCHAR2(30) NOT NULL ,
    CREATE_DATE DATE NOT NULL ,
    COMMENTS VARCHAR2(2000)
    In this TRAN_DATA_SEQ is a foreign key and is a mandatory column. I can get the Tran_id and the rcode from xml. but the remaining mandatory columns i need to pass them to the xsl. Below is the xsl. Can you please let me know how to pass value to this the xsl.
    [P]
    xml:
    <RES>
    <Status>'PASS'</Status>
    <Tran_id>1A</Tran_id>
    <Rcode>1BR</Rcode>
    <Msg>
    <Rule_Id>A<Rule_Id>
    <Msg_Text>'CRDT Failed'<Msg_Text>
    </Msg>
    <Msg>
    <Rule_Id>B<Rule_Id>
    <Msg_Text>'MAN Failed'<Msg_Text>
    </Msg>
    </RES>
    [P]
    I need an xsl for this xml to insert tran_id and rcode in tran_data table along with the xml as xml_data and the msg information in msgs table. The seq of tran_data needs to be inserted into the msgs table. Please let me know how this can be achieved using xsl?
    Thanks in advance.

    HEllo, i've a problem when i try to load a file, the message is:
    SQL*Loader-926: OCI error while OCIStmtExecute(trigger_hp) for table <table>
    ORA-00904: invalid column name
    what is the solution for this?

    The root cause is in the error ora-1426, which you can look up in the online error documentation at http://tahiti.oracle.com . No one knows every error message by heart. This means it is expected you look up the error prior to posting, and you don't expect any volunteer in this forum to look up the error on your behalf.

  • Error While loading data for LIS InfoSources.

    Hi All,
    I am repeatedly receiving load failure errors while loading data using 2lis_01_s001 (This is the case with all the InfoSources).
    The error message is:
    An error occurred in the source system.
    Note
    If the source system is a Client Workstation, then it is possible that the file that you wanted to load was being edited at the time of the data request. Make sure that the file is in the specified directory, that it is not being processed at the moment, and restart the request.
    in our Quality system, we disabled the LIS Updation to No Update(R3) and loaded data and then again changed the Update Mode for No Updating to Asynchronous Update(R3). But now we are doing dataloading in Production. How to proceed. Should we have to disable the LIS Updating whenever we have to load the loads from R3 to BW.
    Regards
    Jay

    Hi Jayanthy,
    Pls. check the order of the fields in the two set up tables for the S001 structure. The order of fields in both the tables should be the same.
    You can see the structure in the TCode - SE11.
    If the order is different, then you bneed to ask the BASIS person to change the order so that the order of fields in both the setup tables is same. This should fix the issue.
    Thanks,

    Regards,
    Saran

    Hi,
    I think you are facing an invalid character issue.
    This issue can be resolved by correcting the error records in PSA and updating it into the target. For that the first step should be to identify if all the records are there in PSA. You can find out this from checking the Details tab in RSMO, Job log , PSA > sorting records based on status,etc. Once its confirmed force the request to red and delete the particular request from the target cube. Then go to PSA and edit the incorrect records (correcting or blanking out the invalid entries for particular field InfoObject for the incorrect record) and save it. Once all the incorrect records are edited go to RSA1>PSA find the particular request and update to target manually (right click on PSA request > Start update immediately).
    I will add the step by step procedure to edit PSA data and update into target (request based).
    In your case the error message says Error : Record 1 :Value 'Kuldeep Puri Milan Joshi '. You just need to conver this to Capital letter in PSA and reload.
    Edit the field to KULDEEP PURI MILAN JOSHI in PSA and push it to target.
    Identifying incorrect records.
    System wont show all the incorrect records at the first time itself. You need to search the PSA table manually to find all the incorrect records.
    1. First see RSMO > Details > Expand upate rules / processing tabs and you will find some of the error records.
    2. Then you can go to PSA and filter using the status of records. Filter all the red requests. This may also wont show the entire incorrect records.
    3. Then you can go to PSA and filter using the incorrect records based on the particular field.
    4. If this also doesnt work out go to PSA and sort (not filter) the records based on the particular field with incorrect values and it will show all the records. Note down the record numbers and then edit them one by one.
    If you want to confirm find the PSA table and search manually."
    Also Run the report RS_ERRORLOG_EXAMPLE,By this report you can display all incorrected records of the data & you can also find whether the error occured in PSA or in TRANSFER RULES.
    Steps to resolve this
    1. Force the request to red in RSMO > Status tab.
    2. Delete the request from target.
    3. Come to RSMO > top right you can see PSA maintenace button > click and go to PSA .
    4.Edit the record
    5. Save PSA data.
    6. Got to RSA15 > Search by request name > Right click > update the request from PSA to target.
    Refer how to Modify PSA Data
    https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/40890eda-1b99-2a10-2d8b-a18b9108fc38
    This should solve your problem for now.
    As a long term you can apply some user exit in source system side or change your update rules to ensure that this field is getting blanked out before getting loaded in cube or add that particular char to permitted character list in BW.
    RSKC --> type ALL_CAPITAL --> F8 (Execute)
    OR
    Go to SE38 and execute the program RSKC_ALLOWED_CHAR_MAINTAIN and give ALL_CAPITAL or the char you want to add.
    Check the table RSALLOWEDCHAR. It should contain ALL_CAPITAL or the char you have entered.

    Hi,
    Pl try the below
    The l_dta data target that you want to load is an InfoObject (master data or text
    table).
    You must declare this for the InfoProvider in Transaction RSD1.
    You do this on the 'Master Data/Text' tab by assigning any InfoArea to the InfoObject.
    The InfoProvider (that is, this InfoObject) is then displayed below this InfoArea in
    the InfoProvider tree.
