Error while opening Adobe Reader

Hi Everyone,
I'm currently encountering an error with adobe reader 8.1 and 9.0(I've tried both) while opening an interactive form in WDA and ISR. Input fields are also disabled. I have found the thread below
ADS Credential Rights Issue. All reports checks successful...

however, they do not explain how they fixed the problem.
Does anyone have an idea of the problem here? Is this an ADS credential issue? a reader rights issue?

Hi Alex,
You will add some piece of code in init method in WDA,
data: lr_zsample type ref to cl_wd_interactive_form,
      lr_method_handler type ref to if_wd_iactive_form_method_hndl.
      check first_time = abap_true.
      lr_zsample ?= view->get_element( 'FORM' ).
      lr_method_handler ?= lr_zsample->_method_handler.
      lr_method_handler->set_legacy_editing_enabled( abap_true ).
You will get the editable mode of Interactive form.

Verify operation failed and Runtime Error While using Adobe Reader 10.1.2

We have installed Adobe reader 10.1.2 on Windows Servers 2008 and user are accessing its using Citrix.When users open PDF files they are getting message "Verify Operation Failed" and also getting error "Runtime Error"
even on one server we updated the version to 10.1.3 but still they are getting same error.
Pdf files open up but after multiple attempt..

Hi, I have been using Citrix on Server 2008 for quite soemtime. And have not seen any such issues with Reader 10.1.2 and 10.1.3
Can you provide the event viewer log ? Also is the same issue seen while opening PDF in the Citrix Server ? Or it is mainly seen while Citrix Users accessing the published Reader app via Citrix Web URL ?

Error while saving adobe reader XI

Whenever I first try to save the pdf, it gives me an error that the pdf could not be saved and changes the file name to some .tmp file (eg: A9R6927.tmp). Then, I need to do a Save As and replace it with the original file. Why am I getting this error ?

Hello PMEHTA,
You need to open Reader and choose "Help> About Adobe Reader XI"
A new window will open (screenshot shown below) displaying the current patch of Reader that you are running.
If it is not 11.0.10, then please select 'Check for Updates' option from the Help menu.
Also, try saving the file to other place (other than desktop) as you might not have permissions to save files to that particular folder.
Please check and then let me know.

Unknown software error while downloading Adobe Reader XI

Adobe Reader XI stopped working. Just before it stopped, it started opening with greatly magnified text. Than it stopped working. I tried to uninstall and reload. I could not download from the Internet and got this error message "The exception unknown software (Ox40000015) occurred in the app at location )x013aaba" and "Adobe Acobet AcroRd.exe - app error". Can anyone help? Can't believe you have to pay $40 just to talk to a tech. Three was no problem taking my money to allow me to edit pdfs. They were ever so helpful then. Can anyone help me?

3) Have you tried with any other web browser?
I would suggest you to use another web browser, to download Adobe reader from http://get.adobe.com/reader

Error while installing Adobe Reader "Did not pass integrity check"

When the download manager gets to about 80% this error pops up every time, I have tried clearing the temporary files, restarting my computer donwloading an older version but nothing works.
The entire message says:

Don't use the download manager; download the installer directly from http://ardownload.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/10.x/10.0.0/en_US/AdbeRdr1000_en_US.exe (English version 10.0 for Windows).

Error while opening Adobe Form Builder

Hi all,
I am trying to open an existing form in Adobe Form builder (TA SFP).
When ever I display a standard form say FP_TEST_01 and go to the layout tab, I get an error saying Error occurred in communication with layout editor. I am using ECC 5.0 system.
Am I missing any configurations?
We have all the required configurations set as mentioned in Configuration guide. (Required for ABAP stack).
Please help me out.

Or go to http://service.sap.com/download > Download > SPs and Patches > Search for SPs and Patches > Enter 'Designer'. Install Designer 7.0 and the 7.0 patch (!).

Error while opening Adobe Interactive form.

Hi ,
We have few custom applications which contains an adobe interactive form. When it is getting called it throws the following error.
com.sap.tc.webdynpro.clientserver.adobe.pdfdocument.base.core.PDFDocumentRuntimeException: Failed to UPDATEDATAINPDF
com.sap.engine.services.webservices.jaxrpc.exceptions.XmlUnmarshalException: XML Deserialization Error. Invalid parser state. This exception is caused when deserializing XML type [http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema]<base64Binary> and wrong XML node is found.
Kindly guide me how to resolve this issue.

I am using Adobe reader XI. When i open PDF it gives "OUT of memory" error after scrolling PDF gives another alert "Insufficient data for an image". after clicking both alerts it loads full data of PDF. It is not happening with all PDFs. couple of PDFs are facing this issue. Because of this error my software is not able to print these PDFS into TIFF. My OS in window7*64. I tried it on win2012R2 and XP. Same issue is generating there.
It has become critical issue for my production.

Error while opening the Visual composer

I have downloaded and installed the following version from sdn.
SAPNWCE71TrialSP1Preview_CompEnvServer .
When i am trying to open the VC in browser. it is giving the following error while opening.
Failed to open the workspace due to the following error : Kits manifest is bad or missing.
More information : Failed to invoke the function."actionKitsManifest" of the remote service:'LibManager'.
If you to see the screen shot the error i have uploaded in to the wiki in the following path:
Visual Composer > Main > Attachments > visualComposerError .gif
Kindly tell me what is the work around need to be done for this.

My Generated Spool request is PDF Spool. It contains Adobe Forms data. To Download Adobe form
 Spool (PDF Spool) into PDF format,
First,
A) Read PDF Spool data by using u2018FPCOMP_CREATE_PDF_FROM_SPOOLu2019 Function module.
B) Assign the Output Data to XSTRING format
C) Convert that XSTRING data to Binary Format using 'SCMS_XSTRING_TO_BINARY' Function module.

I have designed 1 web site in flash , now my clients want
some changes in that , but the problem is that file is not opening,
i have the source of that file but when i m trying to open that
file then i m getting error " error while opening file." i dont
know why its coming ? what will be the reason of that ? is it may
bcoz of version conflict ? pls help me.

hmmm - i doubt its a version conflict since you said you
built it - so it must be the same version
and the same copy of flash.
It is not uncommon for a FLA to become corrupt - in which
case, a back-up file is necessary.
Especially with client projects - i make periodic back-ups
daily - do a save-as with a new name is
recommended as well as copying files to different hard drives
and/or burning to disc. In a worst
case scenario like corrupted files, hard drive failure, act
of nature etc...you have a fighting
chance of not losing your work.
I often send upload the source files to a folder on the
clients hosting server to be even safer.
