Errors displayed on the default page

Hello:
When I launch EM, the default page shows two errors, one below the HOST CPU and the other under Active Sessions:
The one under HOST CPU Says:
Error
Unhandled exception during generation of chart Host CPU.
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError
at java.lang.Class.forName0(Native Method)
The one under Active Sessions says:
Error
Unhandled exception during generation of chart Active Sessions.
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError
at sun.java2d.loops.DrawLine.locate(DrawLine.java:37)
What do they mean and how do I resolve these?

I have seen such errors before (especially when the CPU was very busy). Log off and log back in.
It should fix the problem. If the error persists, reboot your machine as a last resort.

hold a message and display that item in a region

Can Reader pick up the Default Page Size of a printer that is not the Windows Default Printer?

We have a web based application that generates PDF documents via Crystal Reports.
We are using Adobe Reader 8
The PDF pages are displayed within an Internet Explorer window where the the users then print the document.
The application is designed so the user only gets one chance to print the document (ie they cant come back and change printer settings if they happen to print the document out incorrectly)
The document needs to be printed on A3 paper, full duplex.
We have a printer set-up decidated to the printing of the documents generated by this application. The default page size of this printer is set of A3.
If we set this dedicated printer as the Windows Default Printer we have no problems at all. The default page size (A3) is picked up and the document is printed correctly.
If any other printer is set as the Windows Default Printer (eg one that has a default page size of A4), the users must obviously select the correct printer from the Print Dialogue Box -however when the user selects the dedicated A3 printer, the page size remains as A4 (page size of the Windows Default Printer). This means the user must remember to change the paper size to A3 each time.
Out users find IT a struggle at the best of times - anything that makes the process simpler is very welcomed!
Is there a way to ensure the default page size of the printer is respected when that printer is not the Windows Default Printer?

Question regarding some fields on the default page layout of Leads

Hi Everyone,
I've noticed in the default page layout for Leads that their are fields called 'Owner Account' and 'Channel Manager'. I would like to ask to what those fields are for since they are only 'read-only'. My initial thought was the 'Owner Account' refers to the owner of the account if I associate the lead with an Account and the 'Channel Manager' was to contain the 'Report to' or 'Supervisor' of the users that created the lead but it seems not to be it.

In continuation with Marcin's reply, I would like to suggest you a workaround.
I had a similar requirement wherein I had to merge the output of multiple smartforms into one and either display it or print it.
For this, as Mercin has already suggested, you can call the smartform(in loop) with the get_otf and no_dialog paramaters of the
CONTROL_PARAMS structure (which you pass to the smartform function module call) to 'X' and fetch the output in OTF format
from JOB_OUTPUT_INFO paramater of the function module call.
Being in a loop you would get the OTF for every smartform call inside the loop. Keep appending the OTFDATA field of the
JOB_OUTPUT_INFO structure to that of another JOB_OUTPUT_INFO structure(this will hold the otf for all the smartforms togather) .
Once that has been done for all the smartforms , you will have the OTF output of all the smartforms which you will need to either
display as a print preview or print, for which you can use either the function module SSFDISPLAY_OTF or SSFPRINT_OTF.

Header not getting displayed in the next page in the second table

Dear Experts ,
I have a query regarding Header not getting displayed in the next page in the second table of the main window. .Let me elobrate the issue.
I have a smartform in which there are 2 tables TABLE 1 and TABLE 2 in the smartform MAIN window. TABLE 1 is for pending PO and TABLE 2 is for future delivery date P O separated by text in between.
Now the header for both the tables and the data are getting displayed properly if the total output is in only one page. But If there are more entries in the TABLE 1 the Header for the TABLE 2 is not getting displayed. Header for TABLE 1 yet gets displayed properly in the next page in case of more entries.
Only issue is that Header for TABLE 2 is not getting displayed in second page but it gets displayed if the entries are less in TABLE 1 and the total output is in one page .
Please provide a elobrate solution on this problem as the requirement is urgent.

you need to cteate two pages FIRST and NEXT.
in first page --> FIRST
next --> NEXT
in next page
page---> NEXT
next ---> NEXT.
you copy the first page main window is the same in next page

END-OF-PAGE not displayed in the last page of the classical report.

Hi all..
The END-OF-PAGE is not displayed in the last page of the classical report.
SY-LINCT value is 30.
Lines displayed in the report per page is 24.
[3 for TOP-OF-PAGE and 3 for END-OF-PAGE]
My Internal table has 6942 records.
It comes 289 pages with 24 records in a page and 290 th page with 6 records.
The END-OF-PAGE is not coming for the 290 th page.
Please help.

How can I change the default page for a book?

I have a book that contains six pages. One of the pages contains the login portlet while the others contain account specific information that a user can only see if they are logged in. Currently, I have the default page set to the login page.
I am attempting to write a backing file for the book that will esentially change the default page for the book to be one of the other pages if the user is already logged in. In effect showing a logged in user their account summary page instead of the login portlet.
I can't seem to find a way to change what page the user is shown with the book and page context classes. I can hide the login page, but this leaves the user looking at a blank page. Unfortunately I can't use entitlements, otherwise this would be easy.
Does anyone know how to "forward" to another page from a backing file?

Please verify that your project settings for all projects show the following:
J2EE Web Application Name: APPS_HTML J2EE
Web Context Root: /OA_HTML
Note that these values are new for an OA project with JRAD 9.0.3.7 (verify that you are using an OA project).
If that doesn't fix the problem, try deleting your System directory and restarting.

Junk characters like" � � "displayed in the jsp page please help.

I am getting junk characters like � � displayed in the jsp page.
In the JSP page i used javascript "& nbsp" for appending spaces to a string "CCR" to get "CCR " .
Now the Resultant string "CCR " has three spaces appended to its right.
This String is set in session in that JSP page.
In the next JSP page i am getting that string from session.
After getting the string the "substring" function is performed to get only the first 5 charcters of the string. Now the result is displayed as " CCR� � " with has last 2 characters as junk values � � insteed of displaying as "CCR ". Please help me in solving this issue.
Please note that initially the sting "CCR" is got from the Oracle database in Solaris Machine.

have you tried:
strenuously inspecting the string that is coming from the db? do an actual loop over the string, character by character, dumping to System.out to make sure the characters are EXACT coming out of the db.
note you have to append " " not just "& nbsp"
post the code that is doing the output. the relevant bean code, the jsp, everything relevant - WITH COMMENTS discussing where things are happening.
Also, is it "weird characters" in the browser only? have you done a view source on the actual html source that the browser is rendering (right click in IE and click view source). browsers can act odd if you don't feed then exactly what they want, and it looks like you're feeding it escaped characters that it is rendering as something else.

How do I get Distiller to render other than the default page size

I have double ad I laid out in Illustrator and I need to make a PDF with the Bleed/Trim/Color bars/ETC. In the past I could print to postscript file and run it through distiller, but after distilling, only an 8x11 is created. I've gone into the edit settings and created another preset that has the default page size set to the size I need it, but it seems counterproductive and not what I'm used to. Is there something that I'm missing?
Note: When generating the PS file I've tried selecting both my printer ppd and the device independent option.

From what I am finding it doesn't seem to be possible in 3.x, I could be wrong and someone might chime in with a workaround but at least it was added in 4.0

I explain you, I'm trying to set a webservice whith JDeveloper 11g to simulate 3 layers, a computer whit windows system it will be the front end or first layer, and the second computer whit linux system it will be the second( coordination layer) and third layer ((data base layer)), and , my question is this; Jdeveloper has a server aplications like apache ??? where I can set a default page whith a JSP to connect the first layer whit the layer that has installed the linux system.

Your default webpage is called shortcut or why you use this? If I'm not wrong, I think the default page is index.html or you can try to use only *^/*.
