Escape special charter in WSDL url for calling a webservice

I am trying to call a webservice which has "&" in the WSDL url.
http://server:8080/asd?id=123gh3&wsdl=1
It is throwing "The refernece to entity must end with the ';' delimeter." error
How can I excape it or encode this specail character in WSDL url
Thanks

Is this a compiler error? If so, replace & with &
If it is a runtime error, there is a top-level escape() function.

  • What is the url for calling a webservice which takes boolean input

    Hi
Can anyone help me out to know how to call a webservice which takes boolean as input? Here my webservice is developed in Java.
    Regards

I'm not sure what your context is, but you can test out your new Web Service by using soapui (www.soapui.org). Assuming your using a literal format, the encoding information will not be required in the XML elements. Therefore your message could be:
    <element>true</element>

  • How to find the WSDL URL for my deployed portlet

    Hello,
I do not find the WSDL URL for my deployed portlet. I deployed a Portlet correctly with JDeveloper to a remote Oracle AS.
    In the tutorial they write:
"Now use the URL provided in the log page at the bottom of JDeveloper to get part of your URL (e.g. http://myserver.uk.oracle.com:8888/my-portlet) and complete the URL.
    http://myserver.uk.oracle.com:8888/my-portlet/portlets?WSDL
Now use this URL to register your portlet with OracleAS Portal."
But in the log there is nothing like this! The log ends like this:
    "DCM command completed successfully.
    Output:
Exit status of DCM servlet client: 0
Elapsed time for deployment: 13 seconds
    ---- Deployment finished. ---- 11-Mar-2006 12:26:58"
Can anyone tell me where to finde the WSDL Url?
    Thank you.

OK I think that I found a quick workaround for this issue. Creating a redirection URL using the parameter icm/HTTP/redirect_<xx> works for me.
    Parameter:
icm/HTTP/redirect_0    (Value '0' may differ for your system)
    Value:
    PREFIX=/ws1, TO=/sap/bc/srt/wsdl/srvc_08002720027F1EE3AEAAFED3B5688C63/wsdl11/allinone/ws_policy/document?sap-client=001
Now the WSDL URL can be reached at
    http://was730.dvlopr.com:8000/ws1
    Tested!
    Best regards

    Hello there,
There is a .NET web service client which is successfully able to access the weblogic application server wsdl from oim 9101 and it can see the complete user profile as a response from the same.
1.) Now, there is a situation where oim needs to send some attribute values to that .NET web service client, after the data from their side comes to OIM and updates a single attribute values for e.g. PIN. How can we do that ?
2.) and I want to add some UDFs into the existing SPML provisioning user profile. How can I do that ?
3.) Also, how will OIM know that it was able to successfully send the attribute values to the web service client.
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E10391_01/doc.910/e10360/creategtc.htm#Toc153968032
I have gone through this. I didnt found this in OIM 9101.
Any ideas/references/clues/hints appreciated in this concern.

  • WSDL url for sender and receiver SOAP adapter

    Dear Experts,
I am working on SOAP --> SAP PI --> SAP ECC synchronous scenario. That means I have to create 2 Cc for SOAP i.e. Sender as well as Receiver adapter. I am responsible for creating the Request as well as Response structure in SAP PI. The sender application team is dependent on me to get the WSDL file.
Please provide the suggestions on the below.
    Sender SOAP adapter.
    1. I will create the WSDL from Sender Aggreement. How to get the url and what is the navigation step? Should I provide the    same url to sender application team to call the service.
    Receiver SOAP adapter:
    2. In the receiver SOAP adapter , Should I have to get the web service parameter of the sender application. As mentioned , I am creating the response structure as well. That means I can not import the WSDL from the sender application. How to get target url in the receiver SOAP Cc.
I refered to the forum SOAP SENDER - test in soapui but its not clear.

    Dear Bhaskar,
    For synchronous scenario
                                                                Request
    MS Application (SOAP)<--> SAP-PI <--
    > SAP ECC.
                                                                                    Response
I am creating the Request as well as Response structure in SAP-PI and its agrreement for both
    the ways.
So for the MS appl team, I will give the WSDL url from the sender agreement to make the request to SAP-ECC.
Now for receiving the response from SAP ECC, from where I should find the value to enter in the target url of SOAP
    receiver channel.
1.Should I take the target url value from the MS Application team?
2.How to know whether  the MS Application or SAP ECC is hosting the web service?
    Regards
    Alice

  • How can I determine the WSDL URL for an Enterprise Service defined in ECC

I have an Enterprise Service that is defined in ECC and I can see the function definition for it via transaction code se80, ABAP Development Workbench.  However when I open up the Service Definition for the Function and click on the WSDL tab the URL I see is not correct.
How do I find the proper Enterprise Service WSDL URL?
    Sam
PS: Posted on behalf of some colleagues...
I wonder if someone from Exton knows the answer???

Will someone please tell me this so I can give them points:
First you have to call transaction SOAMANAGER in your ECC system.  It will then open up a new browser window.  Then select the Single Service Administration link and a new screen will open.  Then search and select your WebService and press the Apply Selection button.  Then you can select the wsdl from the grid below.  If no wsdl was previous created you can Create a New Endpoint which will generate one.  The browser window that opens up will have the WSDL URL set in the Address bar.

    Hi Hoque,
I changed the war name. Then Test Point is getting as "     http://10.50.7.72:8888/ZohoMail-ViewController-context-root". But when i am clicking on that url the error message is getting like the following
    Error 404--Not Found
From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
    10.4.5 404 Not Found
The server has not found anything matching the Request-URI. No indication is given of whether the condition is temporary or permanent.
If the server does not wish to make this information available to the client, the status code 403 (Forbidden) can be used instead. The 410 (Gone) status code SHOULD be used if the server knows, through some internally configurable mechanism, that an old resource is permanently unavailable and has no forwarding address.

  • Why do I get parsing errors with my WSDL URL for Web Services usage

    Hi,
I am puzzled with the errors I get when I want to create a Web Service datastore.
Scenario: I have created a SAP Web Service from CRM using SOAMANAGER. The WSDL URL produced by SOAMANAGER is accessibile when pasting the URL directly in Internet Explorer. WSDL URL [http://UXCIQ0M.WDF.SAP.CORP:50076/sap/bc/srt/wsdl/srvc_CBDCB34C89C29304E10000000A4282C0/wsdl11/allinone/ws_policy/document?sap-client=504]
When using the WSDL URL in the Web Service datastore URL field, I get the error An error occurred while importing metadata: WSDLException; faultcode=PARSER_ERROR: Problem parsing: The element type "br" must be terminated by matching tag "/br". (BODI-1111469) (BODI-1112446)
When I save the WSDL defintion in a local file and use a local file path, I get the errors An error occurred while importing metadata: WSDLException (at /wsdl:definitions/wsdl:portype/wsp:Policy): faultcode=INVALID_WSDL: Encountered unexpected element 'Policy. (BODI-1111469) (BODI-1112446)
    My questions:
    - Why do I get different parsing errors despite the fact that the XML is the same?
    - The WSDL is generated by SOAMANAGER. Shouldn't it work directly when integrating with Web Services generated from an SAP environment?
    - Is this related to confiurgation issue? I have set the Job Manager to Support adapter, message broker and SNMP communication
    - What is the difference between the datastore of type Adapter and the datastore Web Service? In the white paper [http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/boc/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/20bd5e60-11f9-2b10-2bbb-b5109cceff08?quicklink=index&overridelayout=true] it is mentioned to use the Adapter type to consume a Web Service. It is not clear to me why we have those 2 types.
    Thanks & Best Regards
    Isabelle

Some updates on this issue, which might help others in the community.
    - Data Service doesn't support ws_policy.
    - SAP NetWeaver 7.0 SOAMANAGER generate WDSL with ws_policy. In future releases, it is possible to specify not to use ws_policy
    - In most cases, replacing ws_policy with standard  in the URL directly, works. It doesn't work with Data Services :(.
    - Replacing ALL ws_policy in the XML directly is currently the only way to have the WSDL definition being parsed properly by Data Services.

  • WSDL connection to call a Webservice --urgent

    Hi ,
    1) Created a interactive form in using form builder
    2) The form is genearted and the the purpose is to save the data in a online mode from a PDF forms directly .
    3) an RFC FM is created in backend and planning to invoke this from the PDF forms .
code has been written in  click event of a regular button (Control Type = Regular).
In this example I use my function module ZHRABAM_ECHO_STRING which can be called as a web service which genrates a XML .. This XML will be tracked by my FM now I have created a webservice in SAP ABAP .
what all I need to do in PDF form to get the call to webservice invoked ...
    1) as far as I know I need to create  data conncection ( but I find 2 options )
         a) Creating a data connection to a WSDL file
         b) Creating a data connection to an XML schema and XML data files
which one should I use for my scenario and if so what all needs to be done  . I mean how will option a or option b work ..  pls explain in detail .. I am not gtg confused in reading the documentation
    urgent help will be appreciated
    Regards
    Abhilash

    Hi Abhilash,
I don't understand where is your problem. You write you are able call RFC FM from an adobe form and you are able send xml data to this RFC FM. It's all you need (in adobe side). Now you must only write in RFC FM a code which will process sended xml data.

  • Sender adapter request response bean not working for calling a webservice

    Hi All,
In PI 7.31, My scenario :  SOAP sender Asynch-> PI -> HTTP Receiver Sync ->take response to call another webservice  (SOAP)
I have configured request response bean and response one way bean in the sender adapter to make this work.
Attached the screenshot of the module config in  the sender soap adapter. The final response from HTTP has to be used to call another webservice (not sender webservice)
This giving an error "couldn't retrieve binding values for sender to receiver etc etc ----------"
Has anyone configured response one way bean to call a webservice to submit? If so, please share the configuration details. And let me know if I am doing anything wrong
    thx
    mike

    Hi Michael,
I think the adapter type is for the receiver channel looking at the documentation SAP Library - SAP Exchange Infrastructure
Have you checked your receiver channel doesn't belong to a party?
I havent tried this bridge with the http_aae but looks to be problematic according with Michal comment here http://scn.sap.com/community/pi-and-soa-middleware/blog/2014/01/28/generic-pi-async-sync-bridge-configuration-for-any-adapters#comment-454463

  • How to generate wsdl url in Siebel 8.1

    Dear Gurus,
Please help, how to generate wsdl url from inbound web services in Siebel 8.1
    Regards,
    Eldin

    Hi Raj,
I've tried, this url did'nt recognize as a web service.
For example, in Oracle E-Business Suite ( Integration Repository ) there's a button to generate wsdl url. The wsdl url is http://servername/webservice/pls/test?WSDL.
So is it possible we generate wsdl url like in E-Business Suite ? Or there's something we need to configure so Siebel wsdl url will recognize as web service in E-Business Suite.
    Thanks for your response.

  • Provide Webservice  link not generating corresponding WSDL URL based on the service operation.

    Hi All,
The provide webservice link is not generating corresponding WSDL URL based on Service Operation.
E.g. Currently we have two service operations namely Create and Update. We are using Rowset based messaging. Provide Webservice link generated correct WSDL URL for the create operation but it is providing the same URL for Update operation as well. kindly share your knowledge if you guys ever faced similar problem.
    Regards
    Viswa

    Hi Hakan,
Thanks for your reply. Actually i am trying to generate WSDL URLs for each service operation for Travel & Expense module like create expense, update expense etc.
URL generated looks like this : http://xxx.xx.xxx.xx:8011/PSIGW/PeopleSoftServiceListeningConnector/HX_TE_EXPENSE_CLAIM.16.wsdl - this url is meant for CREATE operation. But for the UPDATE operation i am getting the same URL . Normally, Whenever i create WSDL URL for different operation the numeric part of the above URL changes like 16, 17 etc ..based on the service operation but no two operation have same URL like i am getting now. Please provide your knowledge on this issue.
