  • Restricting the user options in the sales information system

    Hi,
We use user information system for sales managers. We use T-code MCSI and the we choose customized information system S904.
Our goal is to restrict the options of each sales manager because we want that the sales manager only have access to his own information.
We try with the Parameter_ID VKB (sales office) but in this case the field is previosly filled but the sales manager can change it.
We use Authorization Data also but the sales manage still also can access to the sales of the others sales manegers.
    How can i solve it?
                 Best Regards

    hi.
Please find the answer below :
"In addition to the type of update, you can also define the period unit to be used in the updating
    process.
The period unit specifies the intervals in which the statistical data is to be cumulated. You can
    choose from the following periods:
      Day
      Week
      Month
Posting period (you may also need to specify a fiscal year variant)
You can determine the period unit of the update for every standard information structure.
In the SAP standard system, the default period unit for updating all the information structures in
the Sales Information System is month."
Hope this will help you .

  • Events Sales Information System - Key figures

What key figure is updated in Net incoming orders 1 and Net incoming orders 2 as defined under update group 000001. I can understand Net incoming order and Gross incoming order.........

    Hi Sanjay,
In order to separate both of the key figure groups the updating process is controlled via various update groups. Update group 000001 is assigned to the key figure group for incoming order information and update group 000002 to the group of returns key figures.
Assigning the business transactions to a certain update of statistics data takes place in two steps.
In the first step, you compile certain characteristics of the business transactions such as customer, material, document type into statistics groups. In the second step, you assign the statistics groups to the various update groups.
In the special case incoming order/returns, all of the returns order types are assigned to statistics group 02 and all other order types to statistics group 01. These different statistics groups are assigned to different update groups and thus key figure groups.
You can assign an update group to certain business transactions using the Customizing function in Sales
The two types of key figure groups used in the Sales Information System are invoice values and credit memo values. These key figure groups are differentiated by the different update groups (000001/000002).
Assigning certain types of invoices to the update group 000001 and types of credit memos to update group 000002 is done automatically by the types of orders belonging to them.

IMG menu path for SIS: IMG>Logistics General>Logistics Information System (LIS)
Figure 1: IMG menu path for SIS configuration steps
Task 1: Create Self-Defined Information Structure
    • Use transaction code MC21 (menu path Logistics Data Warehouse>Data Basis>Information Structures>Maintain self-defined information structures> Create) to create a Self-Defined Information Structure. Give a customer-range number 990 (any available number between 501 and 999). To make it easier, use ‘copy from’ to copy structure from S001.
    Figure 2: Create a Self-Defined Info Structure
Figure 3: Structure S990 is created as a copy of S001
Structure S990 is created as a copy of S001. Accordingly, you will see defaulted characteristics and key figures. Review various settings (unit, sum, etc.).
    • Add two more characteristics: Sales Order Number and Item Number.
Click on ‘Choose Characteristics’ Icon and then click on ‘Selection List’ icon to choose fields from ‘field catalogs’.
Choose field catalog ‘SD: Bus transaction (order)’ by double-clicking it. Double-click on ‘Sales Document’ and ‘Sales document item’ from ‘field catalog fields’ (you may need to scroll-down).

  • Uploading open sales orders from sap

    hi all,
i need to upload open sales orders from legacy to sap. pls advice what steps need to be followed for the same.
    1) how we will we download open sales order from legacy and where..... is it to some flat file or some other option is  there . pls tell some options.
    2) how we will uload the sales ordes into sap . thru lsmw or is there some other option ?
    3)  there will be more number of fields in sap than in legacy. i think we need to manully create an excel file and add more fields manually in excel file so that the compulsonry feilds as per sap are present in sap ?
    4) how will availability check happen  in sap after sales order are t/f from legacy ?
    rgds
    pamela

    hi pamela,
1.a. you need to down load in EXCEL in legact format and convert the same in LSMW format and upload it
2.a. LSMW - Functionally, BDC, BAPI - Technically. to my knowledge LSMW is better option.
3.a. first you download to EXCEL file from LEGACY, then align the same to SAP format you can add those fields that are mandatory as per your requriment.
4.a.You are uploading sales orders in SAP which are showing OPEN status from LEGACY before you uploading the sales orders MM consultant would have uploaded its stock through 561 - dont worry on that, even though if stock is not uploaded also not an issue it will confirm at the later date.
5.a. we have used LSMW process for our PREVIOUS ASSIGNMENT, before that we tested BAPI for it some how it was not capturing some fields.
hope all your queries are solved

  • Error while creating and opening a ERP sales order in SAP CRM

    Hi,
I am getting an error while creating or opening a ERP sales order from SAP CRM.
"Creation of the ERP Transaction failed" this is the error i'm getting while creating. when i try to open an existing sales order I'm getting a dump.
Attached the dump screen shot. From the dump analyasis it seems the transactions are not loaded through LORD framework.
The RFC connection seems to fine as i have tested accessing an ECC RFC FM through a sample program and its successful..
    please help..
    Thanks
    Krishna

    Hello Krishna,
Did you get a solution to this? I have the same dump message.
As a matter of fact, we already use ERP Sales Order and it works fine. But I have recently configured a new sales order document type, and the dump occurs only for this new Z order type.
    Thanks a lot,
    Luis.

  • Creating a Sales BOM in SAP CRM 7.0

  • Unable to update Company Sales Information of the Account using Web service

    Hi,
I am trying to update the Company Sales Information(Party Number, Customer number etc) of a existing Account through web Service 2.0 in dot net, but the values for
Company Sales Information remains unchanged. Also , when I am trying to insert a new Account through a web service, these fields remains blank.
I am not getting why this is happening.
Please help me if anyone knows about it.

Were you able to update other account information beside sales information? I'm doing the same - update sales information on the account - without any issues. Make sure to set external system id so that system can find the account that needs to be updated. Otherwise, I was getting "can't find the reference information" error. In my case I'm providing,
    AccountData.setExternalSystemId("xxxxx");

  • How to generate sales order in SAP using XI

    Hi,
I have been assigned to generate sales order in SAP..data comming from legacy in XML file format. with the data received in XI. I need to generate sales order in SAP system,
can any body help me wat will be the step by step solution of that.
I am totally blank in ABAP. I dont know any thing in ABAP.
    Thanks sree manju.

    Hi Sree,
As per your requirement, you can use a file adapter to read XML files and the pass the data to XI and from XI to R/3, you have 3 ways to create sales order in SAP:
    1. Idoc Adapter: Use a standard idoc to create sales order in SAP.
    2 RFC Adapter.
    3. Server Proxies: The transaction code for sales order creation is VA01. You will recieve the data in your server proxy method (EXECUTE_ASYNCHRONOUS) and then write a BDC code to upload this data into VA01 transaction.
Knowing that you do not have experience in ABAP coding,  I would suggest you to go for Idoc adapter or RFC adapter (if standard BAPI is available).
Otherwise, for using server proxies, the help of an experienced abaper is indeed required.

How should i pass the table information from sap to java.
and how to process the data of a table in the java program. i had seen the examples of JCO. BUT I IS VERY CONFUSING (BCOZ I DON'T KNOW JAVA).
PLZ IF U DON'T MIND SEND ME CODE SNIPPET TO
1.GET THE TABLE INTO THE JAVA PROGRAM
2.PROCESSING THE TABLE INFORMATION IN JAVA PROGRAM
3.MODIFYING THE TABLE INFORMATION IN JAVA PROGRAM
4.SENDING BACK THE TABLE TO SAP FROM JAVA PROGRAM

    hi,Kondani
as JCO offers both Client side and server Side programming.
you can use JCO to connect SAP ABAP.outbound and inbound.
    1) JCO example 5 is about Server side programming java code. And you can see the data mapping is this example. And you must use sm59 to define the connections in SAP before you start.
    2) example 1 is about client side programming.
try example 1 first. you can get a table from SAP using BAPI.
Lots of JCO weblog you can see here

  • Is it possible to use digital signature in Sales order of SAP B1 ?

    Hi Experts,
    Version: 8.81 PL07
    Cyrstal report Layout: 2011
Is it possible to use digital signature in Sales order of SAP B1 ?
    Thanks in advance,
    Regards,
    Dwarak

    Hello
Signature by scanned image is possible, you can create a function to do it. please note: images must be inside the reports, and hide them with a CR function.

  • Registering Purchase information in SAP

    Hi All,
I was working out on a scenario. I want to know what is the transaction code for registering purchase information in SAP system. And when a new purchase information is registered is there a standard program available which will generate report of registered purchased information?
    Thanks
    Rakesh

    Hi Kushal,
    Take the following example...
    Product "A"
    Price : Rs.100
Purchased Order created for 100 quantity:  No Accounting Entry
    GR done for 50 qty : Inventory A/c - Dr - 5000
                                  GR/IR             Cr - 5000
    IV done for 60 qty:   GR/IR    A/c -   Dr - 6000
                                  Vendor  A/c -   Cr - 6000.
To deal with the differences in Period-End, the relevant following transactions are...
    MB5S : GR/IR Analysis
    F.13 : GR/IR Clearing
