do u mean to say.. on change there will be a new record created.. and old one will not be delimited??
this sounds weired why someone would like too do so.. chekc the Case(A1, B1 etc) used in IMG -> ESS -> personal information scenario... and change it accordingly.. but i am still not convinced if this is possible.. can you elaborate a little..

I having trouble with a new site I'm making in CS4. A problem with a vertical menu bar, in IE. Can anyone help?
1. The text is left aligned and should be centered.
2. The menu bar has moved left
3. My paragraph text has moved up the page and aligned itself to the to the menu bar.

Sorry, but your CSS is has been mangled beyound recognition.
The solution is to start with an untouched style sheet. Then add or modify the CSS testing in your browsers as you make the changes.
Have a look at the following where I have positioned the menu. All that is now required is the styling for font and the hover event.

Top 2-3 files displayed in Finder are hidden under Finder's menu bar. How do I modify view to correct this?

Recently updated to Yosemite 10.10.2 on MacBook Pro (early 2011) and now when I open a folder in Finder, the top 2-3 files displayed are hidden under Finder's menu bar. I can scroll up to see the files, but they snap back under the menu bar preventing me from selecting or opening them. This problem occurs in the following Finder view preferences, "icons" "in lists" and "in columns" but not "Cover Flow". Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you.

This sounds like a Windows thing ( You can post a photo and I can tell you for certain). Those folders are Windows system created folders that your computer has had since it was installed, all Firefox does is use the Windows File picker, which is what you see when you open that window. So, to customize you'd have to do that from Windows Explorer (not Firefox).
The Window should however remember what folder you were in last.

properly with the internet explorer. I've (clumsily) repositioned
the submenu bars, but that didn't seem to be the main problem.
I'm using dreamweaver cs3 on a mac and have checked for
safari and firefox, in which everything works fine. I'd be very
grateful if someone could have a look at

Problem endering Spry Horizontal Menu Bar in IE7...help.

I have created a horizontal menu bar in DW CS4 using Spry. When I view using live view, everything is working. When I test in Firefox and Nomad, everything renders as expected. I have tested the page www.ridedesigns/newsite/index.htm using IE7 on both a Windows XP and Vista platform. The problem is that the dropdown menu items fall on a layer behind the company logo (or so it appears) and are only partially visible behind that jpg.
What have I done incorrectly, or is this a known bug?

Here's how I changed the top of your page. Add these two divs:

In my analysis, by placing the menubar in the table, it was sinking into the universe of the table and could not rise above it with z-index. In fact, in IE, the list items in the submenus were taking on the height of the <tr> as well as falling down behind lower table rows.
By putting both the menubar and the table into identically-positioned divs...centered by using the margin: auto; on both sides...they will sit adjacent to each other and not interfere. It did not function correctly with both menubar and table in the same div.

Wireless encryption not showing under airport in menu bar

All of the sudden, it seems that my iMac (24", 1 gig ram, 2.4 ghz) is not 'connected' to the secure network that the rest of my house is on. In the menu bar under the airport icon, it says that i am connected to my network but it does not show the little lock symbol that indicates it is a secure network. I checked the other computers in my house and they are all fine. I also checked from my computer the networks in the general vicinity and it showed that my house network is encrypted. I know what i'm saying is confusing but what i am asking is if my computer is still using the encryption from my network is or it an open wifi (the same network).

Can you confirm that you are on your network. Can you see the other computers on your network.
Since you say you have multiple networks in the neighborhood, maybe it is getting confused with a similar channel. I really don't think this is possible, but you never know.
Try downloading iStumbler and take a look at what is going on around you wirelessly. If nothing else, you can see what everyone is using for a channel and try to deconflict, if possible.

Problem with IE Vertical Menu Bar Widths

I currently have a Vertical Menu Bar with the width set to
auto. IE shows all of the top-level menu items as a single
word-wrapped line.
When you hover over any submenu item, the border that appears
on hover only spans the width of that submenu item's text rather
than the width of the actual submenu.
Is there a way to use auto widths in IE or will I just have
to use predetermined widths?

<b>To change the Salary Statement</b> you must create a copy of standard salary statement using HRFORMS transaction. You can do any changes in this copy. (Select your country gruop or molga)
After you do that you must configure the decision feature to show your own Salary Statement
Go to the SPRO transaction and navigate to:
Personnel Management -> Employee Self-Service -> Service-Spacific Settings -> Benefits and Payments -> Salary Statement -> Form Using HR Forms Workplace (HRFORMS) ->Enter HR Form Name
Expand HRFOR -> RCLAS -> C -> Molga (select you country or include new one) and enter the HRFORM name that you created in the previous step.
<b>To enable or disable links</b>
Go to the se24 transaction
create a new class that implements IF_XSS_SER_PROXY_SERVICE
You need to implement the three methods to enable or disable the service according your needs. You can see the CL_BENEFITS_AREAPAGE standard implementation to get more information.
After you created your class you need go to:
Cross-Application Components -> Homepage Framework ->
Services -> Define Services -> Define Services (Add entries)
And enter your class name in the Proxy Class.

ESS: personnel information 500 internal service error

Under "personnel information"menu in ESS,there are severl sub-menu ,for example:ddress, bank information, Familly member, person data.
When try to open any of the sub-menu, there is a 500 inernal service error . the details pls see the below message.Our SAP
release is ECC 5.0 and portal release is 7.0 sp11. Did anyone meet the same issue before or who would give me some good points? thanks.

according to the indicated thing in the note in step 2, it would have to update the structure HRXSS_PER_SUPPLD_SUBTY_INFO in order to add Default_Begda component, but that structure does not exists.
I suposse that the problem is about the compatibility between the EP and backend version.

I'm having a problem with a spry menu bar. It works fine in Firefox and Google Chrome, but in Internet Explorer the submenus shift to the right.

I see that you have two opening <body> tags. Delete one; it is not needed. Add the preload images from the second into the first body tag and delete the second.

Having problems with menu bar! NEED HELP

I'm having some serious problems with the finder menu bar. When I click on the blue apple, it won't show anything! It just highlights the blue apple without a pull down menu. Same goes for the Window pulldown menu. Also, under finder. when I click empty trash, or do the equivilent keyboard shortcut, it won't empty the trash. I have to ctrl click on the trashcan and empty it that way. Please help me fix my finder, or else I'm going to have to reformat and start ALL over which I really don't want to do. Thanks!
PS This is on a Dual 1.42GHZ G4 Tower w/ Radeon 9800 Pro graphics card and 2GB (4X512mb) ram. I also updated to 10.4.7 from 10.4.6 to see if that fixed the problem, and no dice! Thanks!

Well if the problem occurs in two accounts then it is systemic. When did the problem begin? Was it with a software update, sch as from 10.4.6 to .7? If so, try reapply the update using the Combo updater.
IF that doesn't work you can re-install 10.4 using the Archive and Install method, which does not wipe your disk, does not require reinstalling all your applications etc, However, BACK UP YOUR DATA FIRST, and read up on the A&I before you do it.

Can't access top of photoshop window under mac menu bar

The top of my Photoshop window has slipped under the Mac menu bar-and I can't acces it. I've tried re launching PS, it opens in the same position. I've tried the tapping the F key- does not solve it. I've tried different work spaces- still the same. I've tried using mission control- it lets me see the top bar in the photoshop window, then when I choose it, it's still the same.
Is there any way to hide the mac menu bar when I have PS open so I could grab the title bar and bring it down?

I tried everything suggested here and on other sites and nothing* would work for me. I luckily have other monitors plugged into my laptop and when I unplugged one, the top of the Photoshop title bar showed up on another monitor.
* I tried changing my resolution to a larger resolution and when that didn't reveal it, I changed the orientation of my one of my attached monitor. I could see the top of the title bar then on another monitor, but since I couldn't control my mouse easily and get it back to my main monitor/laptop where the system preferences box was, it timed out on me and I wasn't able to grab the title bar of Photoshop. I only mentioned all that because if someone is not working on multiple screens and the resolution trick doesn't work for them, maybe try changing the orientation...but that was only an option for my attached monitor. So maybe none of this is a helpful tip. Sorry!

Problem with CC Menu Bar app (Mountain Lion)

Howdy!
So, i have this little problem with the CC menu bar app. I have it set to start when i login and everytime i (re)start my computer, the CC app window starts in the middle of the screen. I have to click in the menu bar icon for it to go to it's rightful place.
It's not a big of a problem (not really a problem even), but i wonder if there is any way for it to start hidden and in it's place.

Ok, i disabled that option, restarted, then Pinned it to the menu bar, changed the option back on and restarted again.
Still shows up in the middle of the screen as soon as i login.
